They don't need to kill switch the system. They need to delete it entirely because no one asked for it. Just admit that it was a mistake and move on from it. What people wanted was for people to stop going next on the hook. That's all we needed and then we could have looked into something more if it turned out to not be enough. This kind of draconian crap is ridiculously harsh and is never going to work the way that Behavior thinks it will.

I'd honestly make the same argument for the new point system that requires you to play TWENTY games to lose part of the penalty. Do people realize how much time twenty games is? If you assume a match is twelve minutes then that's FOUR HOURS in game alone just to go down one level. Not even counting the time you spend in queues, menus, loading screens, etc. Also remember the penalties no longer go away over time anymore. This kind of stuff is only going to drive people away in the long term.

Honestly, they could have just had a system where people report people for going next, and after a certain number of reports, it could trigger a manual review of what that player was doing and issue temp bans and eventual permanent bans based off of that.

Right now I was massively pressuring a map as Ghoul at 1 gen (I was dicking around), and decided I would finally play seriously with the 3 gen I had secured because the survivors I was up against were pretty inexperienced (no idea why they were in my game), so I wanted to at least let them have a little bit of fun instead of destroying them all at the 1 minute mark, when I had 3 of them hooked.

Just trying to not be a dick ended up with me getting all 4 of them crows because they couldn't get near gens without me flying into them and chasing them off.

This system was so poorly thought out, I can't begin to understand what they do in BHVR to come up with these ideas. It's literally like no one plays the game. And BHVR banned me off of Steam Discussions for DBD because they said I was being overly hostile, but I caught multiple DC penalties for their servers kicking me and other people out and saddling us with multi-hour bans and getting basically "LOL, sucks to suck" from their support.

I absolutely agree. I don't think the game should be balanced around the top 1%, but it should ABSOLUTELY not be balanced around the bottom 75%. There's a happy medium. People cannot refuse to learn and adapt to the game and expect the game to be made easier for them. Right now the easiest way to win more games, though, is to just go on reddit or twitter and cry that something is OP until the circlejerk becomes strong enough for it to get nerfed.

It's really infuriating, because I will agree that releaase Kaneki was WAY too oppressive, and I still think his skill floor is just way too low. I feel like I'm hacking when I play that character because a guaranteed first hit is really, really not fair. At least even with Legion you can spin them / pallet stun them out of their power, but even then, Legion just isn't fun to go against because it's basically a guaranteed injury… his follow up is just kinda weak.

But besides Kaneki, I've seen survivors literally cry about every killer. Release Unknown had 500 million threads about the fact he was game breaking… now he's mid tier, at best, because everyone but the lowest MMR survivors don't know how to absolutely dumpster The Unknown.

As soon as you run down the killers that survivors feel are the most balanced, you end up with a killer list of killers who get absolutely demolished at anything other than games against new players and memers.

Comp is its own thing and a radically different beast to the main game, there's not much you can really conclude from it if you want to understand the functional balance of the game.

Comp is played by the best players showcase how the game is played most optimally. And even when they aren't using comms, everyone knows what to do and how to do it best, and that's why killers get absolutely ######### on when you have 4 survivors who know what they're doing.

This obsession with balancing at the lower skill ranks is what is going to eventually kill this game. We don't need low skill floor killers, but we also don't need this incessant hand holding for survivors, because all it does is making the higher MMR games absolutely miserable.

    In order:

1: It's unbalanced no matter who does it because of the nature of what you get when you do it.

You could pick Trapper, run zero perks, ignore your power entirely, and tunnelling would still be unbalanced. It probably wouldn't be unbalanced enough for you to still win, but the fact remains that if someone starts the chase on an insane back foot because they're injured, out of position, and not near any resources… that's unbalanced.

The thing that causes the imbalance isn't how good the killer is, it's how much effort it takes to stack the chase in your favour vs how much effort the opponent has to put in to counter you.

2: Splitting your second response up into three here because you cover a couple points, this bullet point is for not needing to tunnel to perform well.

Again, it's really not different across MMR brackets save for how easy it is. Sure, survivors at a high level know their checkspots, they know where the good loops are, they know the killer counterplay… but proportionally, killers at a high level should know those things as well, and how to deal with them.

If your climb to higher levels (assuming any person commenting actually is there, obviously) was spent honing the fundamentals, sure, high level survivors can still make you sweat, but it's not "leverage this one specific imbalance or lose". Killer has a lot of agency in this state of the game.

3: This bullet point is for the perks that help against tunnelling.

Broadly, I agree anti-tunnel is probably in the best state now it's ever been (though that's not saying much), but there's still a few things to mention here. The first is, it's very hard to coordinate and use anything altruistic in solo queue, so that narrows the viable pool down considerably, and second is that it's broadly not great to have to run very specific perks every single match just in case the killer decides to try to tunnel otherwise you lose by default.

The power should be shifted away from perks and coordination, and towards just not letting that chase be easy to begin with.

4: This bullet point is about the loss of collision punishing lower tier killers harder.

I mean… it doesn't? It's still not a punishment no matter what way you slice it. They just can't tunnel to begin with and there's nothing that'll harm them about that. It can't be leveraged against them in any way, so there's really no harm here.

Killer has been pretty good in a lot of ways (depending on the killer) since launch, for sure.

That said, if you really want to know where balance lies, just look at competitions. There are a LOT of restrictions against survivors, and not many against killers, because once you get survivors who know how to play and work together, killer gets absolutely dumpstered.

  • I really wish there was a metric we could check to see what MMR people are in when they're making claims about killer strengths, because I have been playing, and played against, a lot of Singularity players, including streamers that are generally considered to be very good players.

Yeah, I get camera shot and slip streamed 50 times in chase, but I also know when to use EMP, look for who is being chased, and so far I've not had many problems with Singularity. I've also played against some incredibly good survivors who are constantly smashing my biopods so that I'm having to always trudge across the map that they run from the moment my terror radius appears. These players generally know how to loop efficiently and create distance that forces me away from all the gens, or I have to break chase to go for someone else.

Maybe this sounds like "git gud", but all I ever see in every thread is people screaming and crying for more killers to get absolutely gutted so that survivors can mindlessly 4 man escape without the killer being able to get any kills unless he's absolutely sweating his balls off at the higher levels.

Survivor is absolute easy mode unless you're going against some absolutely psychic Nurse or Blight player, and now maybe Kaneki, though it didn't take me long to learn how to loop him either.

  • @Master said:

A killer comitting to "facecamping" surenders the game, the remaining 3 survivors can simply knock out all gens and leave the game. If you dont wanna do that and throw yourself against the camping killer, then thats your decision

The problem with this statement is there are a lot of ways to create a massive game delay when you camp someone, such as the survivors not knowing you're being camped until they come and check. This is countered by SWF, but a lot of killers that I've seen camping lately are Wraiths, and they go invisible and walk away from the hook just enough so it looks like they left, but they're really watching from a distance, and you can't tell until a friend comes for the unhook and they suddenly pop out of nowhere and smack you back down because Borrowed Time didn't proc since there was no terror radius.

Now you're on a greatly reduced hook time, and maybe two gens will get done by this point, but the game is left with just 3 players, which is really difficult to come back from, especially if someone else gets hooked and the other survivors who were working on gens didn't realize what the camper's strat was.

  • @antgnstea said:
For me it’s mostly with sketchy survivors. Not often but time to time I came across a sketchy survivor who never gets hooked, always misses skill checks around you, when get downed and mysteriously you are found.
Just now I encountered two toxic players who should not be playing this game come in and body blocked me until killer successfully hook me and then farm on me.
What kind of joy brings this kind of playing style I think I never understand.

It was a while ago, but I ran into a speed hacking survivor who tried to be subtle. Basically, as LF, I could never catch up to them. They always ran at the same speed as me, sometimes even out pacing me during the entire chase.

It wasn't until I managed to trick them and they ran into my chainsaw, I couldn't pick them up because they crawled away at the speed if light.

  • @PiiFree said:
I'm probably one of those Hillbillys that you run into and accuse of hacking.

I often surprise myself aswell with my "random findings" but I play with Whispers since 2016, I know exactly how to make use of this perk. It might look fishy sometimes from a Survivors point of view and I take no offense if people calling me hacker, I take it as a compliment.

Not saying that there are no hackers but often times people are a bit quick with such accusations. Anyway, the only thing you can do is record, report and move on.

Like I said, these two particular players I've run into don't use any tracking perks, including Whispers.

  • @PigNRun said:
So, whats the difference between a Hillbilly or Huntress following scratch marks/blood trails and doing it as Spirit while phasing? Who on top of that have to also pay attention to sounds produced by Survivors because they might have doubled back, because, unlike other Killers while using their powers, she cant see them. Way more challenging and, again, representative of the player's skill.

Because Hillbilly has better map pressure, and can insta-down you.

Huntress can smack you close up and then M1 you, which is essentially an instant down.

Spirit has to hit you, and then either chase you at 110% speed, or phase and hope she can catch you.

  • I'm purposefully downranking, and I don't give a ######### what anyone says. As soon as I stop playing Nurse, I have to hope that the survivors just run around and screw around in order for me to have any hope of getting a single kill.

I know people always claim "but no one plays like Marth88!!!!!". Sure. That's why I literally get D-struck by every single survivor I pick up and don't immediately get to a hook. It's why my NOED usually lasts about 10 seconds, if they haven't broken every totem, and then I can't secure any kills because they rush the hook and body block for the insured survivor.

Red ranks ######### blow as killer. They're not fun at all. I don't want to play Nurse every game. I simply don't. I don't feel like having survivors laugh and flashlight click the ######### out of me every game because there's literally nothing I can do against them if they want to win.

  • @Khroalthemadbomber said:
It IS changed though because you're no longer required to have Combat Straps for that fast crouch speed. You can now use other add-ons for their benefits instead. Sure you're going to be .3 seconds slower than you were with previous Combat Straps, but by default it's farther. Combo that with the Video Cassette and it works wonders. Adds a fair amount more mind game potential and all in all works out a lot better, particularly at unsafe pallets and vaults.

You move so slow in stealth though.

  • @Warlock_2020 said:
Oddly, ran into it twice last night. Both were a Hillbilly. Had a player down before I reached the first gen (I started in the killer shack). I move to a locker, he hooks the player, I count down to 5, exit the locker, and another player drops. I leave the shack and make it to a nearby locker (had quick and quiet) and got into it before the next one got hooked. Came straight to me. I counted down to 4 before I heard his TR. Figured I'd wait him out, he is likely going to the killer shack. Nope. Came straight to me and opened the locker. Left me and hooked the fourth person. No chili.

Either seriously lucky, unbelieveably good, or something fishy happening. Had two matches that way.

In the cases where it happened last night, the matches always ended within 2 minutes, because there was no way to escape the killer.

  • @PhantomMask20763 said:
Haven't run into this before but I bet it sucks big time when it happens

I don't like to cry "hacks", because I also have just stumbled onto survivors in multiple games. It just seems so fishy that some people are never searching for survivors, without aura perks, and just seem to always go straight to where everyone is, all the time.

  • @PigNRun said:

Mind games are a lot more representative of skill than just chasing someone ("raw skill"), unless you meant something else.

Well, Huntress, Nurse, and Hillbilly might need to use mind games for pallets and windows, or walls if Nurse loses line of sight, but they generally require skill to keep track of people, and when to use the power (aiming hatchets / leading, precise blinks as Nurse, and when to let yourself fly with a chainsaw).

The problem with mind games is that in order for you to successfully mind game someone who is also trying to mind game you, you have to learn what their patterns are. This can take time, and time is not on a killer's side. You might think a survivor is going to mind game you at a pallet, as a Spirit, and instead they'll just keep running because they don't know what the mind game actually is, and now you've just blown your power. You might be able to catch them and figure what they're doing, but if you didn't get your initial hit, that's 15 seconds to get your power, chase them, hit them, and then another 15 seconds to use your power. That's potentially 3 gens loss on a single bad read.

  • @Shroompy said:
her power to go to gen to gen, not to pick them off the gen. You also want to use her power mid chase. How ever currently in 2.4.0 the foot steps are lower than usual. So Spirit is harder than usual.

The problem with using the power to go to a gen it is easy to realize when she's coming to you, and hiding from her, or just booking it with an exhaustion perk while she has to slow chase you for 15 seconds.

Mid-chase, her power can be good, but it seems to be all about the mind games, which are not the same as raw skill, and making a slight mistake during a chase, with her power, is going to most likely going to end up costing the Spirit a generator.

  • @That_One_Scrub said:

As for base power buffs, hatchets not getting blocked by random junk they clearly aren't touching would be nice. But apparently, that was tried before I started playing. Everyone raged at that, from what I hear. Something about a dramatic drop in survival rates vs good ol' Anna.

I play a lot of survivor right now, and I can definitely tell you that a bunch of people who play survivor are absolutely ######### at this game, even at red ranks, and can't handle dying. Notice I didn't say "losing", but "dying". You can still win despite dying, but a lot of survivors don't care, and flip the ######### out when they aren't able to escape most of their games.

It's becoming laughable how many 4 man escapes I've become a part of at red ranks as survivor. I honestly don't know if they'll ever make any killer Nurse or Billy levels of strong, because survivors simply can't handle being actually afraid of the killers.

  • I still don't understand how people can put Spirit so high. At rank 1, I never have problems evading her and out mind gaming her.

When I play Spirit, people also seem to have no issues moving off gens when they hear me use my power, and then I have to play what is essentially a Huntress without hatchets for 15 seconds while I try to see if the survivors are still actually around where I'm looking, and that can end up wasting a lot of time.

She's fun, no doubt, and I've gotten 4k's with her at Rank 1, but I just feel she's really easy to out play if you try.

  • @PBlackII said:
As somebody with around 2.6k hours on this game and who usually gets rank 1 within the first couple days, I can definitely say that you guys are confusing mind games with luck. There is really little mind games going on for the killer side, just the drudgery of “is the survivor going to try faking me this time so I can easily secure the down”? I want killers to actually think about their ability rather than just crutch on it. And yes you are more likely to get successful results out of nerfing these two rather than hope you buff the rest of the killers correctly.

If they nerf Nurse, it won't make me play other killers at high ranks. It'll just make me stop playing the game, because I don't like being bullied by experienced SWF groups for the 3 minutes that the gens haven't been absolutely eaten alive.

  • @JetTheWaffleCat said:

That is also one of the issues. Most of the devs don't know how to play at all. Only like two of them play the game and are actually good.

I don't want to sound mean to the devs, but their continued ignorance over their own game is why this game is never going to be anything more than a casual game distraction.

Some of the ######### they leave in this game is baffling. Can you imagine if a competitive fighting game left infinite combos in their game because, "well, it's kind of hard to pull off", not realizing that a couple hours of practice could allow someone to master it, then wondering why that is the only thing used in tournaments?

It's kind of the opposite with DBD, though. They put in massively worthless perks, powers, and addons, and then feel it's balanced because one of their rank 20 co-workers made it work against them, even though they are only rank 18.

  • @Kaelum said:
The devs have already stated that the nurse is going to be changed significantly. She is almost unstoppable on PC, and is a complete joke on console. I luv it when we see a nurse, as I know it’s going to be an easy game. However, they also stated that she will most likely be the last killer that they balance (significantly nerf on PC), so I wouldn’t expect anything big for at least 2 years. I would expect much smaller changes that may help other killers, but somewhat break nurse, or at least hurt her. The end game changes will have been completed long before her changes have begun.

If they change Nurse on PC, such as nerf, this game is going to be a complete ######### joke.

We've seen time and again that a coordinated group of survivors can basically take a ######### on any killer. Survivors who know how to adapt and play around a Nurse can also beat her without too much trouble.

The issue with survivors is they refuse to ######### change strategies. They just want to run circles around the same loops, and waste the killer's time while their 3 friends kill gens; this is why there are still survivors whining about Huntress, despite the fact she has one of the easiest "good" killers to counter.

Honestly, if BHVR actually listens to the bitching, I honestly believe that will kill this game.

  • The fact people use these methods to get downs with Legions is just a testament to how screwed up he currently is.

The community had to find a way to make Legion semi-viable in getting downs because the dev team did their "internal play testing", finding him just fine, making it pretty clear they're probably all rank 20's.

  • @HatCreature said:
Weaken the DW mechanic to where it's a tool and not a necessity and then up his movement speed and he would chase normally and use FF as a way to distract and find people but nevet to down. Kind of like Pig's RBT, they distract people but you never rely on them to kill anyone.

Yeah, but Amanda is awful. She's just an M1 killer with an awful power, and her headgear can delay games IF you're downing people, but still fairly easy to ignore for the most part.

Amanda has the potential to delay games enough for her to stop gen rushing, but it requires you to actually he chaining downs consistently. At Rank 1, I have no issues looping her, making her waste her time, and leaving her with 2 gens by the time she downs me, if I don't manage to lose her.

  • @Grim said:
Personally, I don't dodge because I know most SWF's aren't the 4-man Squadette DS death squads they're painted out to be. That being said, you can't expect killers to not dodge when you're abusing an extremely broken aspect of the game. Constant, map-wide knowledge should not be afforded to survivors and some killers feel cheated by this as rightfully mentioned above.

This is why I think they should just admit that having this mechanic (no communication) in the game is never going to work in a multiplayer game when you also add in the ability to play with a party.

You can't balance a game around survivors not being able to communicate, requiring perks and addons to give you this info, and then just chuck it all to the wind by allowing groups to play who are going to use 3rd party software you can't stop.

Even at rank 1, look at the difference between getting hooked when you have Kindred 3, and when you don't; you routinely end up with 2 survivors trying to rescue you, or possibly the whole team, because they don't know if anyone is coming to save you. With Kindred, unless they're being selfish BP dickheads, Kindred allows them to see someone is close, if the killer is camping, and allow one person to focus on the rescue (or none if you're being camped) and the gens can keep being worked on.

Or just be on Discord and coordinate who is rescuing you, or say, "just crank out gens, I'm being face camped".

  • I feel like every David King i play against will teabag and flashlight click me, call me trash if I lose, or call me a newb if I win.

  • I don't camp because I find it boring, and having played enough survivor, I know how frustrating it is to die because a killer is ######### at chases and just wants one kill before they lose.

That said, if other survivors are buzzing around the hook... yeah, I'm not going to leave. If gens aren't being done and I have the option to remove a survivor from the game, I'll take it. I'll chase, but if I'm clearly being baited away with a killer who isn't good at chases, I'll double back to down the person doing the rescue.

I try my best not to re-down survivors who are clearly being sandbagged, unless they were being an ######### during the match (teabagging or flashlight macro spamming).

  • @XxAtomicAlfiexX said:

i dislike it because of the corn. the loops dont mean anything to me because they never get used. wanna know why? ITS BECAUSE EVERYONE RUNS INTO THE CORN!!!

Or be me, with my purple haired Nea, and basically be absolutely ######### if we get Coldwind. Corn isn't doing ######### for me when I glow like a purple lighthouse.

  • The problem with the Coldwin Farm maps are they're just too ######### big. If survivors aren't stupid, and don't somehow managed to bunch the last 3 generators together, you're never going to stop the gen rush because it's way too hard to put any pressure on the gens, unless you're a really good Billy.

  • @RuneStarr said:

Wait, add Plaid Flannel for nurse as basekit. No idea why a training wheel addon is very rare in the first place when Doctors training wheel is common.

This would massively raise the skill floor for Nurse, and just cause bitching about her at all levels of play.

If you made Nurse easier, the whining about her would reach deafening levels, and she would certainly be nerfed.

  • @GraviteaUK said:
Im really dislike some hex totem placements, i have played 2 games in a row with Trapper on Yamaoka which is survivor hiding place heaven.

Both games it spawned the Hex totem next to the shack in plain view. Honestly that's just wrong.

I thought they fixed survivor and totem spawn, but on Torment Creek last night, I literally spawned with a Hex Devour Hope in my line of sight as the camera rotated around my survivor.

  • @White_Owl said:
I honestly don't see a problem. Addons are a core mechanics to killer gameplay, if they weren't required matches against the same killer would all feel the same. Imo it's more worthy to ask for less grind.

Well, less grind is essentially what is needed, because I haven't been playing since launch. This means that I get a killer to 50, and then I want to level up other killers and get stuck in this loop of grinding with a killer with BP boosters, but burning through all my addons to level up another killer. This has left me with a lot of level 50 (and several P3 level 50 killers) who have no addons, so I basically can't play them unless I either want to halt my progress or leveling other killers and survivors so I can get them addons, or just play them and get my ######### slapped by Rank 1 toolbox gen jockies.

  • @Master said:

Both doc and spirit are not even close to nurse, even with best addons. Thus they are not too strong

I never said Doc was as strong as Nurse, ever, but I have no problem crushing survivors at Rank 1 with him, as long as I have my best addons and perks.

its still in early access, and once more killers and maps are added it will be a great contender. But you claim a early access game to be dead. Its in early access, I just bought it, jumped in, it was fun and took like 2 minutes to get a full game

You're still asking people to take a massive risk by jumping into a game with barely any players, on top of being early access game from a Chinese developer. If after 6 months the playerbase has declined that badly, I doubt anything is going to shoot it back into popularity.

I think her problem is simply her design which isnt easy to translate from 2d to 3d while keeping its charm. Remember its our devs we're talking about :)

btw nice you focused her on frustrating skillcheck which might cause despair ba dum ts

I feel like Legion fits well because it harkens back to that very brief media panic of teens and thrill-killing (I think it was a group of 4 suburbanite teens who killed a homeless man, and the media was having a field day for a month).

Anime is pretty divisive among gamers who aren't playing anime games, so I think there would be a whole lotta push back if they added in this chick. I haven't been into anime for like... probably 15 years at this point, and I try not to be a hater, but I would really not feel too enthusiastic if she was added.

  • @ThirdSealOPplzNerf said:
    Hahaha docter op sure.

Did you even read what I wrote?

Doctor is weak without addons. He becomes insanely strong with very rare addons, and the right perk build to accompany it. The fact he needs addons to not get ######### on by survivors is a huge problem with how a lot of the killers have been balanced.

  • NOED is a crutch, but so many killers are absolute ass at stopping generators from being popped like crazy that it almost becomes necessary for some in order to not basically become an auto-depip.

I would be fine with these changes if BHVR would continue to fix some of the mechanics surrounding how stealth and chases work, but right now a lot of killers simply can't do ######### without NOED to fall back on.

  • What would be fun is if survivors had to scavange around the map for parts for the generators, then put them in. Maybe 1 gen part kit per gen, but make more kits than there are gens, so if 1 gen is separated from where a killer is patrolling endgame, you aren't stuck trying to comb the map for a part.

  • Because Huntress is one of those killers that is complete feast or famine, depending on the map, addons, and what survivors are doing.

I just got out of a Rank 1 game against a Huntress that ran no addons, and on Torment Creek it's laughable how easy it is to loop her and lose her in all the ######### her hatchets can hit.

Huntress's base power needs a buff, and her addons need a nerf. It's really not fun that I had to basically sideline my Huntress after using up all of her addons (literally all of them) because I want to level up other killers and survivors.

Whatever he does it doesn't matter, if he swings and misses at the pallet the cooldown doesn't exist practically.
That's why legion is not fun and everybody hates him, because dead by daylight now with the nerf to the pallets and to the red light (not really nerfed) is supposed to have interesting chases, as Mathieu cote said.

You know, for survivors who don't really play killer, I feel like Legion is pretty much showing survivors how unfun it is for so much of the cast when it comes to loops and pallets.

I'm not saying it's balanced, and Legion can be pretty easily stomped at the red ranks (though someone will probably get tunneled and murdered) but this is the type of feeling so many killers face when they don't want to play Nurse or Hillbilly.

I buckled down and started playing Nurse almost exclusively, because all the killers I like, aesthetically, start getting ######### on pretty readily once you start going up against survivors below Rank 5. yeah, you can have some good games here and there with Pig, Myers, Leatherface, and Spirit, but it usually requires the survivors to play really ######### stupid, and usually requires that you start using some good addons. Legion is no exception.

Even with the pallet nerfs, you still lose so much time trying to just get a hit on a good survivor on so many of the maps. Even when you know when to break off chases, several pallets here and there will cost you 2 to 3 generators. It's ######### obnoxious.

Hell, even with Nurse, if you start downing people right off the bat, and the team is SWF, you'll usually have one person going for rescues while two people are just destroying gens in record time.

the sadly part its that legion can do alot of bad things like the exploit of moonwalk (im a legion main and i dont do that) the look down and follow the blood or the spam attack hes just a exploit killer and a tunneler

I've had to stop using Legion, because even with Frank's Mix-Tape, a lot of the survivors at Rank 1 are just going to power through generators like crazy while you're downing the first person, and most likely all escape.

I got to rank 1 with Legion, but that was also because the double BP week and Christmas Boxes were dropping Very Rare addons like insanity, and a lot of survivors seem to just give up when you start smacking them down in 3 hits instead of 4.

Even then, if I notice that it's a SWF 4 stack, I just switch to Nurse because at least Nurse can quickly end a chase once you get her blinks down, and the right perk combos will absolutely obliterate survivors who rely too heavily on loops.

He needs to have Frank's mix tape as standard. frenzy hits should be enough for him to get some1 down, 4 hits is way to much

I really want Legion to be buffed, but this would be the wrong way to do it. He would become the ultimate newb stomper at green ranks, and essentially be a giant unfun pain in the ass at lower ranks because there would be absolutely no escaping him once he saw you. You'd probably still lose, but one unlucky survivor would probably get tunneled to #########.

I play DBD on PS4, and have played a few games since the release of "Darkness Among Us". The frame-rate has dropped considerably, especially for killer. It is extremely hard to hit a survivor, especially topped off with the amount of 360 and ead hard users we see on console. I don't know if this is the same on Xbox and PC, but on PS4 this is not good. I don't know much about game design and how difficult it is to improve the frame-rate, all I know is that this is going to be a big problem for killers and survivors alike and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

Even on PC I notice significant frame drops, for example on the new map. I dont wanna imagine how it is on PS4

It was 8 or 9 months ago that a patch dropped that basically murdered my FPS for my PC. I used to be able to run the game on ultra with 60+ frames consistently, and then for about a month I couldn't play since the game ran at like 20 FPS. Eventually I just gave up and stopped playing until Legion released, and I came back to find out that some patch along the way fixed the majority of the issues, though it still doesn't run as well as it used to, with FPS dips here and there, especially on the new map.

Apparently, these developers don't read their own forums. Everyone has declared "The Legion" as the worst killer in the game, and there has been zero response for something thousands of people may believe they waisted their money on. Shame.

    What needs to be done:
1)Movement speed increase to at least 4.6m/s (from 4.4m/s)
2)Survivor must be able to go down after consecutive hits while in "Frenzy" , or make the bleed out timer un-mendable ; to guarantee a down
3)"Vault jumping" accessible outside of "Frenzy"

With these changes I believe "The Legion" will be much more appreciated then its current state. Perhaps may need to be tuned down afterwards, but shouldn't each killer have its own distinct advantage's? Currently, as we all know, "The Legion" is the worst killer in DBD.

Because they don't care what we think. They only do internal testing for balance, and always determine that something is already decently strong, despite it being ######### worthless at red ranks. They've also stated that not every killer is supposed to be good, which... you know, that's just baffling, because right now Legion is not only not very good (without addons), but he's also not fun to play against, which is what they stated their real mission was in creating him.

Seriously, I've watched games where HybridPanda, Tru3, Monto, and other great players play Legion at rank 1. You know what I see? They usually get styled on, except for their YouTube videos where they cherry pick the games to showcase where they do well, and it's usually because the survivors are being incredibly stupid, like all 4 working on a gen, getting deep wounded, and then not leaving the area so they can all just get downed.

I'm not saying people aren't good with Legion, but being successful with him requires that the survivors refuse to split up, and refuse to do gens while one of their teammates is being chased. If everyone spreads out and works on gens, while Legion is busy chasing someone down, it's an easy 3 gen pop.

insta down? thats a huge buff for him
    solution for him its
1.-make hes power similar than spirit the reason its that ppl directly spam m2 to get the survivor over and over
2.-some addons needs a rework this is cuz some ultra rare addons are crap and it should be good since they are ultra rare
3.-his power can be recharge little bit faster like i said in the 1 part if they make him like the spirit then hes frenzy recharge needs to be faster

If Legion couldn't get consecutive hits, and would need his power to be fully charges before going into Frenzy again, he would be the most worthless killer in the game. If all the survivors were spread out, you would hit a survivor twice with Frenzy, and then you would need 15 seconds before you could catch up to them again, hit, then another 15 seconds to catch up and hit. That's almost a minute in a chase if the survivors aren't all holding hands, and that's just to down one person. You'd lose 3 generators, assuming the survivor didn't manage to lose you while you were slow chasing them waiting for your power to return after giving them a speed boost from the Frenzy hits.

Even now, I rarely see more than two survivors together, and deep wounding one and chasing the other almost guarantees the first one I hit is going to get away with a 10 seconds delay to doing gens as they mend. It's stupid.

I love how its the usual killer mains in here saying the usual "git gud" stuff.

Also stealth...lol you have to touch gens at some point, here's a character you can't even see coming from far off anyway because she teleports within range immediately and often carries a load of tracking perks. Not all of us want to use p3 claudettes with urban evasion.

Yeah, and not all of us want to use Nurse with 3+ blinks and meta perks, but that's simply what we're left with when a bunch of Rank 1 tryhard SWF groups basically wave their dicks in our faces as the other killers.

  • @GodDamn_Angela said:
Because being a 115% base move speed Killer would make Legion have even less counterplay and be even more unfun to play against?

Yeah, but at what rank? It's stupidly easy to crush Legion below rank 7. He needs to use Purple Addons to even be remotely usable when the survivors aren't chewing on their keyboards.
