    My personal Build.

    • Hex: Ruin
    • Hex: Undying
    • BBQ and Chili
    • Tinkerer

Ruin and Undying for obvious Reasons. Tinkerer allows me to not miss any Gens which are being worked on and makes me stealthy as well. I got many PotD hits trough walls even though he is very loud even when stealthy.

BBQ for Points and a bit of info. I'll switch BBQ with Discordace once I got all Killers maxed out.

Not bad but ruin and undying is boring like ds and unbreakable.

  • @Yords said:

I feel like the best build for p head would be the normal meta build atm.

    Discordance

    Undying

    Ruin

    tinkerer

This works especially well on p head because he is so oppressive and is very good at staying in the flow of a match as long as he consistently torments survivors.

again that is same boring perks that most killers use same go with survivors using DS and unbreakable but for me i like to play fresh and different not same as everyone play because it boring.

  • @Klakky said:

Probably pop cause overcharge is way too easy to hit for survivors, after twins come out I'd get her gen perk which damages 4 gens at once

Ps: i use ruin with trapper place 2 traps to protect it and hope it isn't in middle of map exposed on all sides lol, but i feel ya all my hexes go within seconds

Yea I don't use hex perks because it go away fast especially coming from me who like to destroy them.

This is what I usually run on him. I swap out infectious for i'm all ears or monitor sometimes.

Infectious is really nasty for snowballing on him. You get someone tormented, down them, and then send them to a cage and can immediately go to the IF proc for your next chase. If you are doing extremely well, sometimes the person you are chasing through the IF proc will have no choice but to lead you to a cage, leading to an easy farm.

Overcharge is trash. Surge is trash. I would honestly use trail of torment over either of those, the free hits it provides will give you more pressure.

I would not use ruin by itself, it needs undying to be better than pop. But pop is mediocre on PH since you want to be using cages if you are ahead, hooking if you are behind.

I mainly M2 so I don't find STBFL all that useful.

I'm all ears can be really nice, but is wasted alot of the time and has a pretty huge cooldown.

I always do range + rites of judgment duration add-ons, unless I want to play map control in which case I do recharge + trail duration.

I was thinking trail of tormented but problem is not a gen regression perk and I don't use hex perks because it go away fast and I don't like to use the same perks people use but again I feel any aurora perks will work on him and Stbfl might be good on him like you say but monitor and abused is a must if I believe but sad part about him that he doesn't got a lot of good add one.

Rank 20 would be too ez for me, I'm a rank 1 for over 2 plus years

I prestige 3 pyramid head so I wanna be rank 20 to learn his basic.

  • @Clevite said:

    You know why?

Because if you don't sweat, and you play for fun. You just get tbagged at the gates. Called a baby killer, gg ez...etc.

Toxic survivors often created try hard killers.

    So why play chill?

True that why I wait to be rank 20 killer to play for fun again.

  • @BigBrainMegMain said:

DS and BT have nothing to do with bloodlust.

It's simply going for someone else, why are you around the hook if you're procing BT?

Why are you going for this specific survivor who was unhooked if you're so phobic about DS? Go for someone else.

Stop proxy camping, stop camping, go for someone else and patrol gens.

The removal of those perks have nothing to do with Bloodlust, and I support Bloodlust as well.

So please, stop making it an Us vs. Them type of deal, because it isn't.

Stop defending DS you know it need a change.

  • @Johnny_XMan said:

Because some of us prefer to engage in close-combat type chases rather than “getting away” type chases. In other words, we go for the ‘dodge’ rather than the ‘create distance between you and the killer.

For me when a killer is good at baiting DH. I will mostly use it to extend a chase, instead of dodging.

That hard to do like use it wisely because some use it right away because they scared.

  • @Eleghost said:

People choose dead hard because it is one of the most consistent of the exhaust perks. The use of dodging a hit is less than amazing but for gaining a small bit of distance it works wonders.

70% it fail which it funny to me when I watch it fail on youtube videos.

  • @Nosferatu3145 said:

Dead hard against nurse is a pretty OP perk. You basically has 3 health states

No one play nurse on console except a fews on PC.

thing with traps is if you place them in the right spots they become a menace to survivors. It makes going in grassy areas a risk and makes some windows and pallets unsafe. He does also feel really fast which is nice.

What you think about wraith like the post I put early about him if he good or not because he is my main.

  • @Chinanumawaaan said:

Trapper is extremely underrated. He has the capacity to stop a lot of powerful survivor perks and mechanics.

Legion is better than plague, clown is better than plague.

How about wraith like my main he got the best add on and power so he can't be bad like he can be stealth or no stealth and move fast and be invisible also his add one are the best which are the one that see gens be touch, mingle, break and vault fast and move super fast and sorry I don't know their names because I took a big break from dbd but after him doctor is my second main and last is pyramid head which I never play as him before.

  • @Eleghost said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/207351/killers-perspective

Clown is going to get reworked probably soon and may lose the exhaust add-on. Trapper is better cause traps cause survivors to be cautious especially with traps setting themself add-on.

Plague isn't bad but i think she gets buggy frequently because of updates. Legion is fun in my opinion and i can usually do pretty decent as legion with less than ideal add-ons.

TLDR: Trapper and legion are better in my opinion.

For some reason I keep thinking trapper is not that good because his power is so basic it just trap that might work or not work but again he seem as the faster killer in the game than any other killer to me too.

  • Sad true

    @ZaKzan said:

Noed really isn't a problem, you sacrifice one perk slot to get 1 kill at the end of the game, if you're lucky.

With ruin and undying, people are doing bones now more than ever, so there's even a less chance that you will get noed at the end of the game.

killers run noed to lose the game, but at least get one kill. It's not a strong perk and it has plenty of counterplay.

DS / unbreakable / DH are much stronger unfair perks, as they have very few counters. DS and UB combined do not have a single counter in the entire game. DH, when played right, is, by intention of the perk itself, unable to be countered.

Fact and people don't understand it

  • @LethalPugy said:

Hi guys, so I’m going to do a string of threads looking at controversial perks that people believe to be Unfair or Useless.

So i decided to start with the big one. NOED

When it was first introduced into the game. It only happened once an exit gate was open but there was no way to deactivate it. This wasn't held in the same regard as it is today.

In the 1.0.2 patch they changed the perk to work when all gens where completed, and this meant absolute hell for survivors and made the game a lot more stale.

How ever in the 1.0.5 patch they nerfed it so that it only lasted 2 minutes. And this basically just made all survivors wait until the perk ran out and wasn’t frequently used.

Around the same time the hag came out and brought Hex totems into the game. NOED changed to a hex perk. Now this originally was a good counter to gen rushing, and that was a giant problem back then, with shorter gen times, older toolboxes and don’t even mention brand new parts.

It slowed the game down as survivors were forced to look for totems that were pretty easy to find on most maps.

Now jump to today. The meta hasn’t changed that much. And totems are hidden all around a lot better so NOED has also gotten better, apart from specific perks like, inner strength and detectives hunch.

But NOED feels like more of a problem than ever. One problem is that it activates when the killer closes the hatch. And yea i know that technically does mean all gens are powered. so it does fit the description, but it doesn’t make much sense.

We can’t blame killers for using it however. If people get to the end of the game, how many times out of 20 would you say, All the totems on the map were cleansed. For the test I did it was 1. So there’s a 95% chance that it will activate.

Another problem is that it makes survivors not do gens. And you may say, that’s a good thing. But survivors should be being forced off gens by killers. NOED at the moment can be used for rewarding for the killer doing badly.

My dream change would be that. Every time you hit someone, you get 1 token. Up to a max of 20. When all gens are completed it activates aslong as there’s a dull totem left.

Every time you hit a survivor you use 4/3/2 tokens to instantly put them on the ground.

This is so killers can’t just win games because of NOED as they actively have to work towards it.

Any ideas for other perks I can cover? I’m thinking I’ll balance out Killer and Survivor.

How about DS is bad too

  • @Marigoria said:

Lol they don't care. They'll just tell you it's your internet, even when it isn't.

  • @NoOneKnowsNova said:

And what happens if the survivor doesn't have DS...?

Come one is 2020 survivors will need ds to survive because they got no skill and there is 70% of a chance of swf too so again there will be at least 1 DS.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    i feel you man

You know man honest i don't really like to eat it but sometimes I do it just to not worry about it later so then I can just tunnel them and camp them to teach them a lesson to not use DS as a abused way and stop bully killers.

  • @CorneliusCloud said:

I don't know what you are smoking but you should stop it.

Why should I stop it that what they want me to do eat DS so i do it i do what they want because this game is for survivors side so we need to do what survivors want lol.

  • @valvarez4 said:

make It 30secs and disabled if you heal, do gens or anything else. But you can use it twice

  • @freddymybae said:

survivors can have 16 meta perks killer only 4 swf is such a pain in the ass i know they cant nerf it besides slowing gens down but that would be 2 unfair for solo players you have to try hard to get a few hooks and then in end game and after the game the bm starts " noob killer ezzzz u suck "

edit was red before long ago but stopped playing

Do what I do be rank 20 and start playing again and have fun with prestige killers.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

If you were Red Rank long ago, you should not have a problem being in Red Ranks currently. It just became easier for Killer, so if you were in Red Ranks months or years ago, you will most likely do fine now as well.

I gotta agree too. At least make them work only on death hook or something.

    wneither.well fix gen rush

  • @danielmaster87 said:

They're literally so stupid. You can potentially cheat out 8 hook states, and that just shouldn't be possible. The green and yellow moris can stay, but ebonies are completely game breaking. DS, the strongest perk in the game, won't even save you from it if you don't find a locker in time. If a killer's good they will simply power through Borrowed to get the down and mori off first hook. They don't even have to camp the hook, that's just being toxic. They're getting insane value just from hooking a survivor, because the next time the survivor gets downed they're dead. It's legalized cheating. Unless you're a red rank, coordinated SWF who are matched with a dumb enough killer that will chase and hook all 4 people before moriing anyone, there is no overcoming an ebony mori. Before anyone says it, yes keys are dumb too and should be removed. But the point is that something this incredibly broken and game swinging should never have been in the game in the first place.

Keys should not be in the game neither.

  • @MiniPixels said:

Before you lose your mind hear me out, I'm not asking for this change I just want to know what people think about it.

So I've been thinking, Decisive currently uses a perk slot, and is one of the strongest perks in the game. It is one of the only perks in this game that's effects are so drastic that you have to constantly be aware of it and can be extremely punishing if you're not. But on the other hand, it is also a solution to the incredibly annoying problem of being tunneled off hook, which is something I don't think should require a perk slot. I've played both sides in red ranks since launch, and while I mainly play killer, I know how much it SUCKS to just get tunneled off hook. So this is my proposition.

    NEW DECISIVE (Base Kit)

    • After being unhooked a 30 second timer starts.
    • While in chase, the timer is paused.
    • The "ability" is deactivated when you touch a generator, or when another survivor is hooked.
    • When picked up during the timer, just like current decisive, you get a skill check, and if succeeded the killer will be stunned.
    • Just like current decisive, it can only be used once per trial.

My reasoning for this is pretty straight forward, the timer is shorter to allow less time where the survivor is effectively invincible. The timer is paused in chase so that if you are immediately chased off hook the killer can't just wait out the timer, and is forced to eat the stun, or leave you alone. And the "ability" is deactivated when touching a generator or when another survivor is hooked to prevent the survivor from progressing the game while being invincible. I have also thought about the ability being deactivated during the end game collapse, but I ran into a lot of situations where that could be abused, so for the sake of this example, let's figure it can be used during the EGC.

So yeah that's pretty much it, I feel like this can still be abused a bit, but is a step in the right direction to a world where killers aren't constantly asking themselves when they last hooked someone, and survivors aren't tunneled off hook. As far as what would happen to the perk decisive strike, I have no clue, but if they did do this they would probably just change it's name and icon and come up with something else. Anyway I'd love to hear what people think about this, and feel free to let me know anything I may have missed. Thanks.

    That would be better

  • @AChaoticKiller said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1736785#Comment_1736785

No i'm just good enough to not need to tunnel and know when taking a DS stun is appropriate so i don't deal with it later.

The only thing people should be complaining about DS is its combination with unbreakable and just going to a gen. it is the ONLY perk that prevents the killer from rehooking you right away and i guarantee you that if another DS style perk was introduced baby killers would complain about it.

edit: for baby killers im simply referring to all other killer mains who act like this perk is the bain of their existence. good killers dont need to tunnel, a simple slug as you pass by them is all it takes to apply more pressure and if they have UB great you were ignoring them anyway and now the perk is used and at worst another survivor had to go to them to pick them up to save UB.

It better to take DS earlier so you don't need to worry about it later especially in the end game for the killers but survivors should use it on second hook especially if the endgame is active and ds is not fine like that way of jump in the locker with DS and attract the killer attention to you on purpose just to eat the ds is not fine it just pissing the killer off that make them tunnel you so don't blame the killer for doing that.

  • @AnnoyingNarrator said:

The problem is that all three can be easily abused for other uses beyond the intended use.

When Decisive Strike is active, you cannot be picked up. So you can do a gen, a totem, or just if you want to be really safe into a locker, and the killer can't do anything to you.

Head On has a similar problem. Head On's hitbox for the stun just makes no sense, and makes it very hard to grab the survivor hiding in the locker. This means that if you can get a locker before the killer gets to you, you can get a free stun even if the killer knows exactly where you are. This is stupid, as the perk is best used as a way to help your teammates mid-chase, rather than a get out of jail free card.

Dead Hard lets become invincible for a short period of time along with moving you forward. Now, this is all fine and dandy until you realized that it lets you step up trapper's traps, among other things. Because having a single perk completely counter a killer's power is totally a good idea.

These are the perks that I can think off the top of my head have this issue, but I would love to see if we can find more examples, especially some killer ones.

Yea but let not talk about this because then people come and say oh it normal and it because killers tunnel which they don't understand why we do it.

  • @adirgeforthedead said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1735092#Comment_1735092

I don't play with DS or Unbreakable. Although I will admit being tunnelled three games in a row made me want to use that first one to get a chance to actually do something...

I understand not all Killers play like that and I probably just had a bad streak.

New killers do but don't blame them like again they new they are babies.

  • @Zaytex said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1735090#Comment_1735090

And sometimes the other side returns the favour and you have a fantastic game where everybody had fun and the chance to play properly.

Personally, I'd rather play nice all the time and have that experience, then sweat and not.

Yea I feel you that why I did took a break because all I get is red ranks who gen rushed which make the game frustrated not fun as I want it to be and most annoying part is 4 DS like where is the fun from that.

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

I'll just play fairly if I want fair play back. If I want to genrush someone, and I do mean properly the game is over in 5 minutes genrush someone, in a 4 stack I have no complains about being tunneled, camped, or Noed.

If I'm solo vs a Spirit with stridor, RuinDying, BBQ, mother daughter ring + yakuyoke amulet who tunnels everyone off of hook and does nothing but phase back to the hook when she can? Yeah, I'm gonna be bitching about that.

Spirit I get you but funny part spirit and demo is dead no one played them anymore because I don't go against them.

  • @adirgeforthedead said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1734617#Comment_1734617

Sadly, that's not the general consensus. It is "I will play the way I get more and easier wins".

Just last night I got dirty games and I was tunnelled three times in a row. I was so irritated I just stopped playing. While I understand it's not the Killer's fault that bad players unhook me right on their face, it's also not mine.

The only things I expect from Killers is no camping and no tunnelling and despite whether I survive or die in the trial doesn't matter to me. I legit just want to play and have fun.

But same thing I expect no DS and unbreakable.

  • @Zaytex said:

    The general consensus should be:

''Do not expect the other side to be playing nice if you aren't.''

Fact thank you sometime play nice make you lose

  • @Clevite said:

I think what you are saying, is if you don't want to be tunneled/camped then why do you rush gens, sabo my hooks on my first hook, abuse broken loops?

    Right

  • @Mistikus said:

My only request for killer is to not camp thats all use whatever you want just dont camp

So if gen rush happen you don't want killer to camp instead of lose.

  • no but it disrespectful the way they abused the killers especially new killers which it sad and it not fun as well like how can you learn if you are new and where is the fun if gen rushed happen.

  • @danielmaster87 said:

It's funny how in the recent survey there's a question about players wanting to have selective cross platform, and there's already an option to turn off cross platform, due to players feeling disadvantaged before they even get into a match. That's good and all, but how come that logic doesn't carry over to SWF? We've been asking for a SWF disable button way before cross platform was even a concept for this game. You're disadvantaged from the get-go, and it's less fun and more stressful (for one side of course).

I'm tired of matches where my decisions and skill are meaningless up until I have to face camp someone to hopefully get a 1k. That's where the gameplay starts for killer, when it comes to SWF. Until you close the gap between solo and SWF which everyone has been asking for, killers are gonna want SWF nerfed or have a disable button for them.

At least let us disable matchmaking with 4-man teams. I can't put into words how rage inducing it is to not only deal with all the game's problems (bugs, gen speed, meta perks, bad maps), but also to deal with survivors who, in theory, will not allow you to kill even one of them if they can help it. If you need a mori or an A tier killer to make it feel like a level playing field, something is seriously wrong with the game.

As many times as I've said it, no I won't quit the game today. But I might some day, because at some point people like me are gonna overcome our love for the game, and stop playing for the sake of our own mental health. Is that worth protecting the *institution* of SWF?

    I would love that

  • @DetailedDetriment said:

The biggest issues with Ormond have to due with sound and sight, not even the pallet spawns. Sure, the pallet spawns are absurd, but you can't even properly hear survivors, nor see their blood or scratch marks properly while playing on the map.

Yea I notice that too which is annoying

  • @BattleCast said:

I think you’re setting yourself up for disappointment. They never promised the maps would be getting reworks just that the graphics would be improved.

Not saying that they won’t rework Ormond just saying that expecting a rework is setting yourself up for disappointment.

There is no point to update it only and not rework them as well like make no sense just rework all maps.

  • It new and fresh also it will help the community like all the killers favor if this happen and make the game more enjoyment like we all hate DS so why having 1 DS then we don't need to worry about any other days so it good for the killer and not a lot of stress but again the game is on survivor side so why not.

  • @SunderMun said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1729127#Comment_1729127

If they're annoying you with 4 DS, then that's your issue with tunneling; legit, I get 1 in about 20 games where survivors actually abuse DS to be invincible, at most. And even those games, I usually do well in.

It doesn't matter in any way like there should be a option where people can use the perks they want but the team can't use same perks like example no more 4 DS just only 1 DS is available that would be a good system and game changer but again not fair to be in a game against swf and 4 DS and not expect to tunnel and not use noed and im good but I just sometimes give up because I don't find the game fun anymore just frustration but it fun to me when I piss them off which is tunnel them, camp them, Mori them and use noed a on them because I love how they get mad and feel the pain how most killers feel so that is what I call fun for me just punish them.

  • @SunderMun said:

I play in red rank aplenty; I don't use bloodwarden or NOED, ever. Last time I used NOED was on old Freddy.

I use noed only to piss them off like how they piss me off with 4 DS.

  • @DaKnight said:

NOED is not really a surprise tbh. When a killer is playing so bad I always think "this guy is gonna have NOED" and the majority of the time I am right.

Though I rarely see it at red ranks because NOED is a perk for losers and you don't get to red rank killer losing games enough you want a perk dedicated to it. And i'm not even complaining about it, I rarely die to it, that's just the facts. Free pity kill at the end if you got stomped on but you won't advance in rank.

People dying to bloodwarden probably just don't respect your play enough and are memeing around.

Very true but same way I feel when people use DS to win and I win without it is funny.

  • @EvilJoshy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1728409#Comment_1728409

Designing a perk that only works if the survivors are negligent is a poor perk. If people start using it more then they won't fall for it.

    Very true

  • @EvilJoshy said:

What killers need is the gates to regress when you let go of the switch. Most survivors 99% the gates just encase of Blood Warden.

Blood warden is a perk where 70% people don't use it so they don't expect you to have it.

  • @tippy2k2 said:

I really feel like I should dump BW from my killers as it really doesn't come into play in about 80% of matches.

BUT when you get that team of ######### that do nothing but make it as bad a time as they can for the killer but you get someone hooked when EGC is halfway done. My God, I don't think there's a higher high in this game then getting to watch those ######### tbag at the exit before it finally dawns on them that they done F'ed up...

True I hate that and it funny they t bag and think they win then they get upset and mad that you got blood warden and fail and then call you trash sometime for doing it but I believed in red ranks most time it impossible to win because it so frustrated so most time you know you will lose especially if you a lower rank because this matchmaking is bad so having a blood warden is good to show them to stop wasting the killer time by staying on the gate.

It did help me most time especially in one match at ormond against swf and they had the chance to escape 2 of them came back for the rescues and that was how they lose then call me trash lol pathetic.

  • Would you leave if blood warden is activate no and will you still t bag no.

  • @Psycho_ said:

why dont you just leave so i can get a new match?
