I would like some kind of trash bin to get rid of things I know I won't use and get a small percentage back. Also on the issue about prestige that @Samayel brought up, I don't think it's that big of a problem, the devs capped the bloodpoints to 1 million for that very reason, and also for the reason that in this way players can't completely level up the new killer/ survivor, it takes about 6 million bloodpoints to reach level 50

What are you on about. It takes 1.6 per 50 levels.

1.6? When I have 1,000,000 BP I usually spend it on leveling a character from 1. Get to around level 31, then bloodwebs cost around 50-70k each which is another 950k-1,3m. And I go with whatever the cheapest is. Though, must admit that sometimes I get to level 50 much cheaper. But usually I always have to spend more than 2,000,000 BP to get to level 50.

No idea what you're doing or if you've been in a coma since 2016, but it will not take more than 1.6 to get to level 50. If you go with the cheapest options and ignore perks you can get to around 39 with 1 million.
Also webs never cost 60k when you're only in the mid 30s, stop lying please.

    It doesn't.

    How do you know?

Because I am not a complete moron. Literally all they'd need to do is make a variant of each texture with some blood on it. Adding the blood shouldn't take more than a few minutes per piece of cosmetic and all that's left to do after that is actually putting the new cosmetic into the game. Sure there are like what.. 150? 250? individual pieces but that shouldn't take too much time for a company with 450 employees.

I'm pretty sure I heard about 6 millions, if it actually is 1.6 the source was wrong or I misheard

Lmao, 1 million will get you to around 36 and to get to level 50 you need an extra 600k. To then get all perks (127 more webs) it's 7 million more points. Maybe you heard someone talk about getting P3-50 starting at level 1.

    EPIC bro.

spend 2 mins alt tabbed before you realize the match isn't loading
    close the game via TM
reopen the game, wait 15 seconds for it to launch
wait another 5 seconds before you can skip the ######### cutscene
wait another 5 seconds for the title screen to load and for the "PLS DONT TURN OF UR PEE CEE" message to ######### off
press a key and finally load into the main menu

Once Dedicated Servers Come out I hope BHVR Decides to add a feature system where Survivors who DC alot and Constantly Be Toxic , Have to play against a Toxic Killer Themselves .

Having this will make The Good Killers Fight Among Good Survivors who are both Friendly and Respectful among others .

Street Fighter has this system after it gained access to Dedicated Servers .

    @not_Queen

First and foremost, consider this: constantly disconnecting can result in PERMANENT bans. The toxicity is unfortunately inescapable, as it is with most multiplayer games. The long wait times for matches would also factor into yet another reason this wouldn’t fit the game far too well.

Furthermore, some people may exploit that matter as a means to avoid someone; and down rank them, penalizing them. The likelihood of this working in the environment that the game is suited for, this system wouldn’t work. If you don’t like the toxicity, ignore it. People spamming you in your console messages? Block them, or don’t feed into them. Don’t bother with the endgame chat- it’s optional! Not necessarily needed to be attended to at the end of the game.

You're actually braindead. Your argument is that someone somewhere might "exploit" the system, which is total bullshit by the way, yet you're okay with the current situation. Right now you can lag switch via bottlenecking your connection, you can use MLGA, you can rip out your ethernet cable to save items and all of that without getting banned. Yet you're saying that those good changes could potentially get exploited. Jesus Christ you're dumb.

    Hi,

so with P1 to P3, it is always a certain outfit or certain hairstyle. So if you have some custom outfits you can either chose to use them or your prestige.

Why not make this an additional texture, a layer, that can be switched on or off and then applies on every outfit of that character?

I would love this, and have seen the suggestion several times before, but I can only assume that it would take too much time.
Not all cosmetics has the same outlines. Some are pants, some are skirts etc. so they would essentially have to create a second skin for every skin they introduce, essentially doubling the required work.
On the other hand, it might make buying costumes more appealing to some people. For now though, I think they would rather use the time elsewhere.

It would literally take less than a few minutes per piece of outfit. They already have the base texture for all cosmetics, so all they'd need to do is add blood on top of that.

    Hi,

I recently came back from a break of a few years. I would like to check if there is any way to look at replays of matches? Since I came back I have noticed a few incidents where the killer can end the match in the first few minutes seemingly knowing where everyone is. For example

I got hooked. Nurse dashes across walls to smack the other survivor, hooked him, immediately blinks in a straight line across half the map (and many many walls along the way) to the other survivor doing a generator. At first I thought okay, BBQ and some tracking perk, but at the end of the match, there was no BBQ or any tracking perk at all. No one had object of obsession either.

Another time I used Empathy and the killer was Spirit. I see one survivor get smacked and then downed. Then another survivor a distance away quickly got injured, then downed, followed by the third one. At this point I decided to test out something. I was already fairly far away from the downed survivors (in the basement of the school while the rest were above ground all over the place) so i decided to sneak and hide. Then I heard some rustling and suddenly the Spirit appeared smacked me right in front of me. At the end of the match, killer had no perks and no one had object of obsession.

Is it possible to look at replays? I would like to avoid falsely reporting someone. Thanks

I like, Gunz game had such feature but u need a different game engine than the UNREAL one

impossible to implement the capture of coordinates to later show the replay

    My comment got lost nice.
    Anyway stop lying.

Except loading screens are still broken and there's still a ton of other issues in the game. I don't care about perk rebalances if I can't even play the game.

  • Your statement makes no sense. As of right now most people are already playing in voice comms, adding actual ingame chat to the game would barely change anything except that matches without SWF would be more challenging than usual. If you don't like voice chat, turn it off in the options. It's that easy.

I don't use SG because it's a waste of a perk slot. You might think it's not a big deal but in reality you're wasting a lot of time running around and doing totems. 14 seconds I believe per totem and that's just cleansing it. You also have to run around and look for them, if you don't go for all 5 totems then using SG is a waste. But going for all 5 totems will also waste a lot of time, setting you back 1-2 gens. At that point the killer doesn't even need NOED because you've effectively killed off your entire team.

SG is a wasted perk slot because it's not hard to learn all the totem spawn locations. Generally only 1 totem will spawn per tile and they are spread somewhat evenly around the map, so all you need to do is check the usual spots on tiles where a totem wasn't already placed.

And breaking the totems is a waste of time. You should only break the totems that would be hard to get to at the end of the game or are really well hidden. More often you are better off just taking note of where the totem spawned and then going back to check if it's lit when the gates power.

How big is 1 tile again? because I don't know how much they ######### with spawns, but last year I found 2 or 3 totems inside the store house. Not to mention even now they often spawn very close together (within 15m range).

Exactly. But people try to compare both perks with eachother but they don't get that it's not about comparing both, it's about removing unfun stuff. Whatever, 2019 and still nothing changed. I'm losing hope tbh.

They wont remove a perk. Just change it.
And i dont think NOED needs to get changed. It punishes not going for totems

4 months after the NOED buff and people are still not cleansing totems btw.

    That's survivors fault.

And it's the survivors who refuse to do dull totems and yell at you for doing dull totems, that actually complain about NOED.

I ran small game for a while when I was new just to learn all the spawns, did this for about a month and now I don't need it to be a totem destroying machine!

The satisfaction you get when that endscreen hits and you see the killer had NOED is top notch.

I cleanse most totems I come across but consider this Mr. Genius Man. Maybe just maybe it's pretty difficult to find all 5 totems in a single match as 1 survivor. You do not know how many have been cleansed either unless you're in full SWF and generally looking and cleansing totems is a huge waste of valuable time. Even with SG unless you're playing SWF you will never know if there's still 1 left and you are literally forced to run across the map with your little perk, trying to make sure there's none left.

First off, it's not that hard to find all 5 totems, definitely not with SG. If you have to do all 5 then hopefully your team did all 5 gens. Getting dull totems is never a waste unless you are certain there is no NOED, only way you can confirm it now is by figuring out all four of his perks by playing.

It doesn't sound like you've used SG, unless you are playing on certain maps and keep looking around you, you will quickly scout the entire map and confirm that there are no more left, yes... even without doing all 5 yourself... Try using the perk before making up your mind.

EW2 ran very smoothly, when I played it last time.

They "fixed" performance earlier in 2018, but for the first 5-6 months it was a complete dumpster fire. I was planning to get it until I saw how it ran on a mid range GPU. Couldn't hold 60fps at 1080p/low on a 1060 6GB. It's better now from what I know, but I am guessing it still has issues since it uses the same ######### engine as the first game and the first game still runs like ass, even after they fixed the most glaring problems. The first game is from 2014 and I can barely get 60fps at high with a mid range card from 2016. It's not like the game looks great either, it looks pretty bad. I liked the first game nonetheless, but the performance is just bad.

No offense, but that's kind of a low bar. The US has what is probably the worst Internet in the developed world.

as an Australian i can tell you that that statement is incorrect

I think it depend on the plan. When you paid more, you will have better internet service.
Maybe you can try 100 Mbps plan or higher. Even 1000Mbps is affordable nowadays.

australian internet is some of the worst in the world, 1000Mbps is a pipe dream and even 100Mbps is difficult to get

Speed has nothing to do with reliability and ping. Unless you have the worst internet imaginable (dial-up/52kbit/s/something like that), it will not affect your own and other people's ping (if you are the host). I had 2.5mbit/s and could play online without issues, as well as host matches in other games. No matter if you have 2.5mbit/s, 20mbit/s or 100mbit/s, if you download something and bottleneck your own connection your ping will start to go all over the place and you and others will lag in DbD because of that. Even 300mbit/s isn't enough to have a lag free experience if you are downloading something in the background and it takes up all your bandwidth. If 100% of your bandwidth is being used, your ping will eventually suffer.

They couldn't be bothered to hotfix these issues and 2.5 was supposed to fix it, yet here we are on 2.5 with the live game and loading screens are still broken on PC. Nah but you're right it's on my end, my internet isn't good enough and my PC is a potato. That's probably the same excuse they're using for the complains about ######### performance. I can either choose to play at medium settings with pisspoor LODs (couldn't thought LODs could get worse than they are on ultra) and 2x2 shadow resolution OR high/ultra with maxed out GPU usage and sometimes not even maxed out, yet I am getting frame drops and bad frame timings. Biggest scam I ever bought into. I wish I could refund my game with 970 hours that I bought on G2A.

DS and NOED are both not fun to play against, but NOED has a bigger impact on the game unless everyone runs DS or you're just stubborn and chase the one guy that clearly wants to be chased. NOED should be token based and use up tokens regardless if you hit a survivor or not. Just the swing alone should use up 1 token.

  • I posted here before, the new map still runs like utter garbage. Getting between 45-55fps (with very bad frame timing) on it when using ultra. High doesn't change much, maybe lifts the average by 5 fps, but I'm often still below 60. The game has no excuse looking and running like this. I am not going to buy a 1070/1080 just to play this 1 game at 1080p/60fps. I am not going to play with low res textures and no AA. Either optimize your game or give us actual graphical settings that matter, not some cut down worthless preset menu. Even Deathgarden's graphics menu was worthless despite having a lot of different options. The different settings barely made a difference in performance and looks. If you want to emulate CS:GO for the sake of "being fair" at least do it right and try to fix the horrendous performance. All other maps I've played so far are still fine, but I am guessing the office area in Lery's and Badham's school (sometimes not always) are still broken and run like ass. It wouldn't be so bad if at least the frame timing was decent, but it's not. Dropping to 45ish fps on those maps feels more like 20 at best.

    i5 4460
    1060 6GB
    12GB DDR3
    500GB SSD
    Win 8.1

Oh and infinite loading screens are back. Second match yesterday resulted in an infinite loading screen stuck at 0% and later again, but stuck at 45% (around 20% for my friend who I was playing SWF with). Both times I just closed DbD via task manager after waiting for 5+ minutes. In the past 4 or 5 months I've had exactly 0 infinite loading screens, only softlocks in other types of loading screens.

Even in shooters players won't have a disadvantage unless you're looking at the best of players. In casual matchmaking you won't notice the difference between a controller user or mouse user, they'll perform the same. Issue: Extremely high GPU usage even on low/medium settings and FPS loss.
    Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 1700X Eight-Core
    RAM: 15.95
    Graphics Card: 1060 6GB
    Monitor: 1920x1080, 144hz monitor
Quality selected: Tested on low, medium, high and ultra
Map played: several maps. the issue persists on all of them
Additional details: The game has always had high GPU usage no matter what graphic setting you choose. I think the game needs to be optimized better in general so this doesn't happen.

Previous builds (Summer 2018) ran way better on low/medium. I also ran MSI Afterburner and RT during this year's Halloween event and almost saw the same results.

Low would usually be around 35% GPU usage (for the record I also have a 1060 6GB), medium would be around 45-50%, high at around 80% and ultra slightly higher at around 85-95%. But during the event I had issues with both high and ultra on several occasions and even switching to medium didn't help. Game restart didn't help either, it just randomly went away. Oh and ultra also ran worse, often hanging at around 95% to 99%.
CPU utilization is never higher than 60% I believe, with an i5 4460.

  • New map suffers from high GPU usage (probably bottlenecked by the map's optimization) and on ultra I'm looking at between 45 and 55fps, high settings barely help and move the average to around 55. I will hit 60 sometimes, but not always. Played Backwater Swamp and it seemed to run fine, without issues. It's honestly ridiculous how badly the game looks and how much GPU power it needs to run at High/Ultra. I honestly would drop to medium and never have to worry about poorly optimized areas again, but I'm not going to drop my texture res. and AA. Please give us actual graphical settings that mean something and show bigger differences or just optimize your game because this game's performance is a joke. Do you guys not test high/ultra at all or do you just run the game with a 1080/1080 ti at 1080p?
I realize the game runs on UE4, but with how big the environments are, the lack of AI, the visuals of the game and etc. this game should have 0 issues running at decent frame rates, yet the school in Badham, sometimes, drops frames like crazy and kills frame timing, same with Lery's and the office area. There is no reason for the game to choke.

Like the devs said to all killers when infinities were thing. Adapt

Crutch perk but it can be nullified haha what a joke

So can DS, doesn't mean it's not a crutch perk. Your perception of it is "if you can do something it's not bad/a crutch" when in reality that doesn't matter. Again you can't even counter my argument of "it rewards bad killers for doing nothing the whole game". Someone could literally sit in the basement for the entire game and then get a 4k in endgame or just use remember me and some other endgame perks alongside NOED and still easily get a 4k for basically playing like trash the entire "match". Infinites were fixed because they were an actual issue and not fun. Yet you're using it as argument here, like the devs were right when they said "just adapt" when in reality to fixed it after seeing how bad the problem really was. Maybe you're the strawman here.

Lol are you serious? Omg for the whole thread I just sent a guy crying over a clensable perk. If you cannot press 1 button. for 20s and nullify a perk then yes, its fine punish you. Yes I use just adapt because you won't adapt, you won't cleans totems, and even if you cleanse just two and noed still activate it means 1 gates are powered 2 noed spawned and can be cleaned 3 you can just run away since the killer would camp that guy and won't pipe anyway (the hooked guy will if he did the gens) giving you time to escape or look for noed and the save

I know its hard thinking about things and its better straight up lie saying a killer can 4k standing still till noed proc. Which is a dumb statement unless you are a rank20 who swarm the hook knowing he has noed active. You are the one making dumb statements and lying about this whole thing to fit your narrative. I'm not strawmaning I'm saying that if even me, a bad evader that play mostly stealthy can take a chase looping a killer and escape hiding even when noed is into play, anybody can

    GitGud boy

pure crutch perk that's designed for little timmy
    git gud

Yeah okay. All I did was propose a change for NOED that would actually require skill to use and not just blindly reward rank 15 babies for spamming M1 cause they couldn't be bothered to put pressure on the survivors and learn basic gameplay mechanics. Ofc rank 15 huntresses like you will crawl out of the woodwork and tell me to just cleanse totems, because that's viable and everyone does it. Despite the fact that it was never the main issue. The main issue is that NOED is a crutch perk, more than DS, and now that they buffed it it's even more evident. I used to run NOED3 on my Wraith, but I can't even use it anymore and instead I'll play 2-3 perk Wraith for my dailies. Running NOED is actual cancer, because it just proves you're a bad killer.

It is not broken just cause you are too lazy to broke some few totems. Get over it and do your survivor-job better.
I never had problem as survivor. If I see that we didnt cleanse all totems, I am gonny destroy it and good is.

The guy claimed DS can be countered when the only counter to DS is a survivor being stupid enough to get downed near a hook. Smart survivors who are injured and know they'll go down will run away from hooks or to a corner or some ######### so they can get DS off.

Enduring counters DS 4/5 times and getting downed anywhere near a hook will too. Saying "oh a good survivor won't get downed near one" is #########, you don't get to decide where you get downed. Sometimes you won't have the option to extend the chase or run of somewhere else. Running into a corner to "get DS off" is plain stupid if the killer has Enduring and even if he doesn't, being in an empty corner won't do a lot for you.

NOED wasn't really buffed. Tier 3, the one most people are going to have and the most powerful tier, remains unchanged. It has always been a good perk.

The lower tiers might see more use because they're a decent use for a perk slot as you're leveling up a new killer, but it's no more powerful than a tier 3 version.

If you're having trouble with NOED, I would suggest cleansing totems before powering generator. Cleanse 5 and it'll never activate. You have the power to counter it.

You don't play a lot of DbD then do you? I've put around 180 hours into it in the past 3-4 (played a lot during the event) and pretty much 50% of killers ran NOED1-2 at yellow ranks. I used to use NOED3 on my Lv.42 Wraith when I started playing killer, as well as sometimes on some other killers. It actually took effort to get to tier 3 and usually by the time you had a high enough killer (unless RNG gave you NOED3 really early on, which is rare) you'd usually be at least somewhat competent at the game. Now it's basically the situation where new killers don't even need to try to win the game during the 5 gens because they've been shown that they can just run NOED1-2 and get some free kills if not a 3-4man. It reminds me of TF2 and how newer players "learn" to rely on random crits with melee weapons to get kills. I was always fine with NOED3 because it took time and "effort" to even get it and it was semi rare, but now that everyone runs it it just feels very jarring. If they ever nerf DS, but keep NOED like this then I don't know what to think anymore. I don't understand why anyone would prefer the current version over a non-hex version that only gives you a certain number of exposed attacks whether they hit or not. For pretty much every exposed effect (not huntress' insta hatchets) in the game you have to earn it, but NOED just feels cheap despite the fact you "could" prevent it.

  • @MasonHugsCats said:
When playing at Rank 1 my NOED only activated 20% of the time..

Yet people claim that NOED always is/was a meta perk at high ranks.. but if it's a meta perk at high ranks that would mean that everyone knows about it.. so survivors who reside at those ranks would all run Small Game and destroy all totems so NOED would never pop/very rarely pop and killers would stop using it. Makes sense. Why would you run a meta perk that everyone knows about at rank 1?

They are there for a reason.

    He already made his point.
He does not want to! So he comes to the forum to ask the Devs to fix his lazyness .

"Lazyness", nice English. No laziness isn't an issue, but braindead teammates are. And no, I won't become the designated Small Game(r) and run across the map for several minutes trying to find all the totems while my team is getting slaughtered and no one is doing gens. Again, play without your little friends and see how it goes. Everyone here is either low-key getting off to this NOED buff because they're a bad killer or they're playing SWF and don't know it better.

Oh, you found a misspelling from someone ho is not a native speaker… wow, wanna try answer me in german and we see how good you are?

And guess what? I play 98% of my survivor games SOLO, so your "with your little friends" crap goes nowhere.
If all survivor just cleanse ONE (dull) totem, Noed won't be an issue in 99% of the matches.
You do not need to run around for ages to find all totems.
There is a pattern in their spawn and you should be able to find them pretty easy, without actively searching. I usually cleanse 2-3 dulls while looking for Ruin anyway. :P

I'm not a native speaker either and FYI my native tongue IS German. But to your luck I am very bad at it nowadays, so I'll have to decline your offer.

Anyways I think I made it clear that the issue is that my teammates do not cleanse the totems. I try to cleanse totems, but it's not possible for me to do all of them unless I have Small Game or look very carefully and waste several minutes doing so. Even with Small Game I'd need to run through the whole map and across it to check all spots. It's not something I can afford in half my matches because I am often one of the only people who do gens. So it's either I do gens and we get to endgame and get cheesed by NOED or I waste my time looking for totems and everyone dies with 2-3 gens left.
I'd rather work through perma-ruin than have to deal with NOED and baby killers every second match.

So again… your teammates suck and don't do their job?
And who do you wanna see punished for that?
    Oh... the killer, sure.^^
They CHOOSE to ignore totems, so they have to take the possible consequences.
Your part of said team, so: "mitgefangen, mitgehangen".

Not wasting time on looking for little skull easter eggs and cleansing them = bad teammates, alright sure. And nah it's fine that baby killers can get 1-3 free kills with NOED. Bad and baby killers should be rewarded for playing badly during the main part of the game.

Well I'd rank up if pipping wasn't total garbage on the survivor side and forced you to play a very specific way, a way that doesn't reward trying to survive but instead forces you to mishmash and get yourself and your team killed. Not to mention rank 1-15 feels the exact same except that you have more actual newbies at rank 15. Oh and we have "seasons" because DbD is a very competitive esports game, despite the fact everyone could be rank 1 since it's not an actual ELO system and you don't have to "win" to pip.

So you're rank 15 saying its easy rank up to rank 1 but at the same time its impossible to get out of rank 15? What do you smoke?

Win its piping while for others is survive. Depends on who you ask, for me its survived and pip.

How can you say rank up its garbage while saying its easy I don't get it really. I just pip by taking the chase thing by being hid on terror radius and doing 2 gens for light bring er. Its easy peasy. if you can't escape rank 15 killers using the excuse of noed and you won't cleanse totems either, its on you dude.

GitGud, play more and whine on the forum less. As far as I can read you just bought the game or still new ish to the game so just learn how to play before crying, ty

Learn to read, I said everyone could be rank 1 because of how the game's ranking system works. You can hook everyone 2 times and still pip as killer, hence every single survivor and killer could be rank 1 if everyone would basically farm or play in a certain way.
Ranking up as survivor is garbage because it forces you to do a bit of everything or do very, very well in 2 categories. It rewards people with a "######### it" attitude. Literally just do 1 gen and then go chase the killer around a bit and farm some teammates. Meanwhile as killer you actually do everything naturally. Trying to slow down the gens, hooking people, chasing people and hurting them. Having a lot of interactions should be a requirement for getting a double pip, but not for a single one.

"> GitGud, play more and whine on the forum less. As far as I can read you just bought the game or still new ish to the game so just learn how to play before crying, ty"

Literally everyone arguing about "oh dude just do the totems" is coping and not trying to admit that this situation is [BAD WORD] ridiculous. No, you're not going to cleanse all the totems without wasting several minutes and potentially a perk slot on it. And no, your teammates won't cleanse the totems either. They might cleanse SOME totems, but not all. Rank doesn't matter either here, I've played killer at red and purple ranks and people do not cleanse totems. I don't need to run TOTH or NOED to see that, I can simply look around and see unbroken totems even if it's endgame.

    I dont run NOED.
I only use it for my endgame Piggy Build.
I just like the NOED discusion.
    Because NOED is balanced.
And NOED doesnt give the survivor informations, until the killer hit someone.
    Survivor have tons of informations.
And survivors just hate 1 perk with no informations until its to late.

I hate getting smacked by a baby killer who did badly the whole game and then he gets 2-4 free kills for basically nothing. I realize NOED is the meta at very high ranks, but it never was at rank 10-20, not even rank 7-9 did I see NOED often. People had to put time and effort into NOED3 and by doing that they most likely got better too because they spent time playing killer. All it is now is "Oh you're new to the game? here have your free 2 kills because you sucked earlier.". I am honestly hoping it's going to be similar to DS, where eventually people use it less and less but I doubt that since NOED isn't DLC and it's so easy to obtain too. It's not even "free" teachable.

As a survivor i actively hunt totems on the off chance the killer has NOED and because I'm never sure my teammates are going to.

As a killer if I've got NOEd and the survivors are too lazy to cleanse them all well thanks for the free kills most likely.

Don't like NOED then CLEANSE THE FCKING TOTEMS !!!!!!! You get the added bonus of removing NOED and a nice 600 objective points. If you're like me where sometimes I cleanse all 5 well that's 2500 objective points or 2k plus another 1k for a Hex totem.

Totems give Boldness points, not Objective points. You're confusing emblem status with point categories. And at that, only hex totems give you a little bit extra in the Lightbringer emblem.

How about you cleanse the totem?
They are there for a reason.

    He already made his point.
He does not want to! So he comes to the forum to ask the Devs to fix his lazyness .

"Lazyness", nice English. No laziness isn't an issue, but braindead teammates are. And no, I won't become the designated Small Game(r) and run across the map for several minutes trying to find all the totems while my team is getting slaughtered and no one is doing gens. Again, play without your little friends and see how it goes. Everyone here is either low-key getting off to this NOED buff because they're a bad killer or they're playing SWF and don't know it better.

I stated awhile ago that DS should have the downside of being exposed and moriable attached to it after use and or end game... there was a thread talking about possible rework etc....... and then rancor was born.... it's not broken and the "bittermurmur 2.0" isn't that great at all ...... its not even auras its pretty much the docs madness tier up sooo

Let me rephrase it then? I mentioned how stupid it is to have a bitter murmur 2.0 with basically no downside, except your obsession seeing your aura as well. It gives you a free mori and exposed effect, again for no reason other than "you equipped this perk, good job!". Devour takes effort to get, the same goes for some other perks and addons that give you the exposed effect (no, not huntress' crutch hatchets). I'd go as far as to argue even mories as offerings are somewhat crutchy, but at least you don't get them THAT often. Nerfing mori offerings would be pointless because then they'd be useless, similar to how useless BNP is nowadays. On that note, why did they nerf BNP? And why this much. Unlike killer addons, survivor addons and items are way more rare. For killers there are no items, just addons. Survivors have addons and items and BNP were pretty rare. Strong, but rare. Similar to memento mories. They might as well nerf those now and make them completely useless. Oh and please buff NOED even more, I am a bad killer and need all the automated killi- help I can get.

    Basically

I always cleanse dull totems when I have the time to, my point is that's not how the game works when playing with randoms. I could give less of a ######### about how you and your SWF group play the game. Want me to record 2 hours of raw gameplay and see how often NOED pops, despite the fact I did cleanse all totems I saw? it's not an option, simple as that. It's not an option to run around the map for several minutes trying to find leftover totems that my teammates didn't bother cleansing.

Wow you're right. Lemme go on a totem hunt, with or without Small Game, while literally no one else is doing >gens. Great strategy. It's similar to "just down the obsession near a hook", right? Just dribble them 3 times ez >pz no stabby stab.

Wooow 50 seconds for 5 totems.
And you can take a perk, to find totems.

    t. Killer Main who is bad at the game and has to rely on NOED to do the job for them

Literally everyone arguing about "oh dude just do the totems" is coping and not trying to admit that this situation is ######### ridiculous.

It's insurance for bad killers, and that's the bottom line.
