  • As many people have already commented, I would say that in PC, the least common killers for me, are the following in that order:

    1. Hag
    2. Clown
    3. Pig/Nurse
  • I had really consistent results, even against full SWF groups, with the following build:

    • Whispers
    • Hex: Ruin
    • Nurses Calling
    • BBQ&C
  • I would reduce que size of the Red Forest since that map is now the biggest map of the game, as I killer I feel it's too big.

In my opinion the devs should take a look at the window of the Ironwork.

Also the tiles of Coldwind should not allow the survivors to see the killer through them, the tiles should be like the other Realms so the killer have an opportunity to mindgame the survivors.

The fences of Haddonfield sometimes can spawn in a very disgusting way. Although I have to say that when it happens to me as survivor is way too fun, but I also understand that is not balanced.

  • Hex: Devour Hope is the strongest killer perk in the game when it works. There is a high risk-reward factor involved in it. It's a hex perk because it needs a counter play.

I would rather discuss instead a rework for Hex: Lullaby for example, which I feel it's too weak to be a hex perk.

Something I would do is that the hex totems should not start the game as a lit totems. I think the totems of Hex: Devour Hope, Hex: The third Seal and Hex: Lullaby should lit on a random dull totem once you got your first tokens instead of starting the trial as lit totems. Hex: Ruin totem could lit when the first of the four survivors gets the first Ruin skill check. That way you avoid the situation of starting the game and getting your hex cleansed in the first 10 seconds.

  • The devs gave a statistic on a stream some weeks ago with the escape rate per map.

If I don't remember wrong, I think the top 5 maps for survivors were Haddonfield, 3 Coldwind maps and I think Yamaoka Estate.

On the other hand, I think Lerys and Gideon Meat Plant were the two worst survivor maps.

Honestly I think the concept would have been different. I think he should have been a killer with 115 movement speed that instead of vaulting windows and pallets with his power, he could break pallets quicker (similar to having brutal strenght) and vault windows quicker that the base speed (as Myers in Evil Within III). I wish Legion didn't apply the Deep Wound status effect with his power, just normal hits.

So then instead of vaulting windows and pallets and getting free hits but with largely extended chases, he could just be a normal 115 movement speed killer that uses his power to cut down chases and down you with two hits as any other killer instead of getting the Deep Wound status effect, it would be much more fun to play as and against.

    are you saying,
1)make him a complete M1 killer, whos ability can be easily replaced with perks that other killers are already using
    Or
2)a killer who has base abillities of said perks, and still has a speed rush m2 and can two hit down you in like the first 30 seconds to min?
Because any surivior ive played against would say SCREW THAT on the second one, and the first one would make him even more irrelevant imo.

I mean number two, a killer that has a speed rush m2 and can hit you down in two hits but can't vault pallets or windows with an insane speed. I also think that while he's using the power he can break pallets slightly faster or vault windows slightly faster, but only when using his power.

I don't know who are those survivors, but when I play survivor I honestly prefer that option rather than being chased by a killer who doesn't care about pallets or windows and downs me after being hit 3-4 times in a chase without being able to counter it in any possible way.

Legion is easy to survive against. The mending/healing combo is the only annoying part about facing him.

Easy to survive because he can be gen rushed?

No matter the skill you have as survivor. Either if you play efficiently or not, he will eventually down you. That's what I hate about Legion, it's a killer that gets free hits against you no matter what you do. Survivors have pallets and windows that are supposed to assist them in chases and it's a way to defend themselves, but when you have a killer that can jump pallets and windows you can't really do nothing against that. I would like yo know if someone can tell me if there is any way of counterplay against Legion, how can you avoid the free hits?

With this i'm not saying that Legion is OP, he's a bad killer. Yes, eventually you can finish a chase with free hits, but it takes a huge amount of time that you don't really have as a killer.

In other words, and with total respect to the devs, because they have created a game that has gave me tons of hours of enjoyment, but I think they made a badly designed killer. As a survivor I like to play against a killer that instead of getting free hits against me just outplays me with mind games. The same as killer, I like to play and down survivors through mind games that let me finish the chases quickly instead of chasing them for 40-50 seconds wasting a huge amount of time.

So I managed to make a little update to the list and moved Spirit over Hag (I do have a feeling that there is such a big gap between Hag and Spirit, that's why the latter took the spot on the S Tier list), moved Shape over Clown (here I'm also not certain if the Clown's bottles can compete with Evil Within) and... moved the Legion to the place they deserve. Now, waiting for the mid-chapter patch.

Absolutely, the Shape can down with Evil Within III multiple survivors at the same time, you can apply tons of pressure thanks to that. With the Clown you can't do that, maybe you can finish chases sooner than with Myers, but if you know when to blow your Evil Within III you can finish a chase quick and down multiple survivors, something you can't do with Clown. Added the fact that with Myers you have a lower terror radius, it can also help you to sneak up on survivors, something you can't do with the Clowns terror radius (32 meters).

I also have to say that I play both Billy and Spirit, and I think that Spirit does a better performance than Billy. I notice the difference between those two killers against groups of really good survivors that know what they are doing (SWF or not, just really good survivors). Against good survivors Billy just gets pallet looped, Spirit can do better at mind games.

I will also add the fact that for me S-tier is only the Nurse, the rest of them I would lower one tier. This is, Spirit and Billy are A-tier. Hag, Huntress, Shape and Clown B-tier and so on...

  • I almost never use moris. I only use them when I have a mori daily or when I see in my lobby someone who trash talk to me before.

That's why the few times I use an Ivory or Ebony memento I never forget. Not the case of the Cypress memento, which I only use sometimes for fun but I forget about 90% of the times I had it equipped.

I want the bubble duration for Generators and Hooks to be much shorter in general.

I want the bubble to be completely removed for both sides honestly.

  • When I play killer I slug my obsession or I dribble them to the hook if I'm near to one. Also slugging helps you to slow down the game, since the other survivors have to go and heal the downed survivor.

NOED has an easy counter, just break the totems. If it bothers you that much, Small Game helps you to find the totems, so does Detective's Hunch. If you don't want to use a perk slot for those you can still use a map with Red Twine and the Odd stamp to guarantee no NOED, it even helps you with Ruin.

  • I tend to use in my survivor builds Object of Obsession or Alert. Because both of them give me the information I need when I'm playing on my own, this is, the pallets that have been used during the trial. That is the reason why I love those two perks, because I have control and information of where there are pallets that haven't been used yet. Honestly, I think Alert is underrated right now.

It's a very versatile perk. It can be used on a defensive playstile to try to stay away from the killer because you can know his position. But it also helps you in an aggresive playstile so you can plan where to go before a chase starts because of the information the perk gives you.

For example, I had yesterday a game in preschool where my team mates used a huge amount of pallets. Thanks to Alert I knew I still had up the pallet downstairs of the school, the pallet at the second floor of one of the houses and the shack pallet. The other pallets of the map where all gone by then. But it gave me enough value to have the killer behind me for 2 minutes, enough time for my mates to finish the last two gens and open the gates.

Also I think it's important to mention that if the killer is a Nurse, the perk is almost useless, because the Nurse doesn't care of pallets and usually they don't bother to break them neither.

  • I feel Surveillance should be something similar to the Wraith's ultrarare addon "All-Seeing" - Spirit. Something like this:

Unlocks potential in one's Aura-reading ability. After hooking a survivor, the repair progress of Generators can be determined by the intensity of their Auras for 20/30/40 seconds.

You see this is the option even now
Repair gens if killer is there and doesnt see you

Didn't want to use the triggering words but sadly survivors don't consider doing the risky route but consider themselves entitled to the shortcut that is the hatch.

The hatch skips up to 4 (1-3 gens plus 1 door) objectives they'd need to get before achieving their goal of escaping.

I dont even wanna get started on the standoff which is 100% avoidable by survivors and yet still favors them.

I like the concept the OP presents.

Yes, that's the point. Right now the hatch is slightly in favour of the last survivor. With this change the hatch would be in my opinion slightly in favour of the killer, and that's the way how I feel it should be.

I feel what the Huntress needs is her hum to be 32 meter radius (instead of the actual 45) and not to be directional.

Why would her humming not be directional? Shes literally the point of origin of the sound.

Yeah, and I agree with you, she's the point of origin of the sound. But that's a big hinderance for her. It's very easy to play immersed against her. Combine that on a map like Lerys, the Game or Yamaoka state, if you don't have Whispers you will have a really hard time to find survivors. That's why I feel the hum should be reduced and not directional.

  • For survivors the best maps by far are Coldwind and Haddonfield.

For killers I would say McMillan and Autoheaven (beside Gas Heaven) are the best ones.

Back Water Swamp it depends on which of the two maps. The new Pale Rose has barely nothing to work with so I prefer to play on it as killer and not as survivor. Grim Pantry on the other side I prefer to play it as survivor but not as killer.

  • I feel what the Huntress needs is her hum to be 32 meter radius (instead of the actual 45) and not to be directional.

The Nurse is the best killer for farming when mastered in my opinion. You always get 28K or more with her per game, even more if you use BBQ.

Usually get 50-60k with myers, I get 35-45 with doc but I don't have distressing on him. Myers gets tons of points from just stalking and distressing really boosts that.

I think most killers can be good for farming points if played effectively. Except for the Pig probably, in the deviousness category she simply doesn't get many points. Also for the case of the Trapper, you can have games in which any of them will step on your traps denying him for deviousness points. Leatherface is another killer which can be looped by good survivors and not getting to chainsaw them, leading to a poor performance in deviousness. Other than those, I think the rest can do fine.

The Nurse is just the Nurse. If played well and you blink efficiently, you can farm Deviousness and Brutality at the same time, and probably you will 4K leading to max in Sacrifice. I tell from my experience that I feel it's the Nurse the killer which I usually get more points per game on average (if survivors don't DC of course, which also happens form time to time).

  • The Nurse is the best killer for farming when mastered in my opinion. You always get 28K or more with her per game, even more if you use BBQ.

  • The main weakness of Hillbilly (even if it's a good player) is that he's loopable. So when you play against him try to have a window or a pallet near. Also, if the Billy is good, don't try window fake or fake pallet drops, because it wont work, he will just bodyblock you the window or the pallet denying you to use them, better just tank a hit. Billy is a strong solid killer but he also has his weakness.

  • I have played this game for almost 3.000 hours, and I have dedicated on every killer a good amount of time because I like to play with all of them and have different variety so I don't get bored when I play killer. Usually I do killer rotation and try to use different addons. So, if I had to make an objective killer tier list it would be like this:

    S-tier
1.) Nurse (hands down, I think anyone can argue about this).

    A-tier
2.) Spirit (with basic knowledge of how survivors move you can finish chases really quick. She's underrated by many people but when the community in general put more gameplay time on her you will see the real beast she is at full potential. Unlike the Nurse, she can't go through walls or pallets and her power has a cooldown, but she's a really strong and solid A tier killer).
3.) Hillbilly (I feel Hillbilly is on the same level at Spirit but the reason why I place him under the Spirit it's mainly because when I play against good SWF groups Hillbilly can have a really hard time being looped, on the other hand, if you master the Spirit she can do better than him against them, believe it or not. Nonetheless, he still has a great map control and a one-shot power that can cut chases really quick).
4.) Hag (different play style than other killers, just go placing random traps in the middle of nowhere without any pallet or window near, you will get constant free hits. However, unlike Spirit and Hillbilly, she needs time to "build" her power and I know by my own experience she can have a really hard time against good SWF groups. Also, if survivors are smart they will look where you have placed traps and when you down a survivor and start carrying him/her to a hook, they will just blow you traps since you can't avoid it).

    B-tier
5.) Huntress (her ranged power is really nice and can help you with loops and windows. She can also do well against SWF groups. The main problem she has and the reason why I place her under Spirit, Hillbilly and Hag is because of her lack of map control and because she's very map dependent).
6.) The Shape/Myers (his low terror radius combined with monitor and abuse can make him a really good killer. Sure, he can be looped, but if you learn to approach to survivors with your evil within at 99% you can pop it and avoid the chase. If you're getting looped you can just get more evil within and drop the chase when you're at 99%. He can even punish groups of SWF).

    C-tier
7.) Clown (he's a killer whose power can be used for survivors to use pallets faster and make loops last shorter, so you can clean up the map of pallets quicker than other killers. However, you don't have any way to snowball with him, and that's what make Clown and the killers under him in this list worse than the first six killers of the list. He can also have a bad time against SWF groups, like any other killer down him on this list).
8.) Doctor (I place him on this position because if you master him and learn how to use his power at the exact moment you can perfectly deny window vaults and pallets drops leading you to free hits. However, he would be way down on the list if he couldn't do this. Also it's important to mention the fact that he can start chases really fast thanks to finding survivors due to madness 1).

    D-tier
9.) Pig (she's pretty bad but her power can at least help her extend the game "if you're lucky with RNG". That can help you deal softly with gen rush and clean the map of pallets quicker so survivors have less stuff to work with late game).
10.) Wraith (he definately goes up on the list with his recent buff, and he has a decent map control with his speed while cloaked. As a stealthy killer you can approach survivors and bobyblock windows or pallets near survivors avoiding them to use them and getting free hits. However, he's still vulnerable to pallet loops, he can still be gen rushed due to the lack of pressure he can apply and can be soft countered by good SWF groups).
11.) Trapper (if survivors have a brain they will check obvious spots where you can place traps, and even if you place random traps in non-obvious spots you need to be lucky that survivors walk by those spots. Again, if you go against a good SWF group his power is completely nullified. To be fair, he can be a strong killer with his best addons).
12.) Leatherface (yeah, he has a one-shot power, but if survivors have a brain and are good at the game they will always tend to look where are pallets to loop, what windows they can use, so they can nullify his power and complete loop him. And if you good against a good SWF group they can make the match a complete troll fiesta to poor Bubba. He's hands down the best killer to guard the basement or to secure a kill, but honestly, I don't feel that's the way the game should be played and it's a really boring play style).

    F-tier
13.) Freddy (I think many of us agree with this. You have to put people to sleep before you can hit them, time for survivors to reach pallets or windows. Complete loopable killer to which his power can't do nothing to assist him in chases. You can't secure a hook, they can unhook in your face, they can heal in your face and wake up with a skill check... yeah, he needs a rework, probably I will try to make a proposal to give him what I consider a good and balanced buff).

Obviously each one of us has a different view of the tier list and it can be really subjective depending on the person and also the tier list can vary depending on the addons used and the map they are playing in.

Beside this, my total respect to the list and work TydeTyme has put on elaborating his list.

  • Taking a look at the gamepedia I'm curious of something. It says that you need to fill the Nectar Vial meter (with Visceral Cankers and/or Cankerous Hooks) in order to obtain 1 Putrid Serum.

I guess it is needed 1 Putrid Serum to unlook one skin. But is it known the quantity of Visceral Cankers or Cankerous Hooks needed to fill the Nectar Vial?

I think during that period (19-31 October) in order to get all available skins it will be needed a huge amount of hours playing the game. But it will be nice if we could get more information so we can make an estimation of the amount of hours we will need in order to get all skins or as much of them as we can.
