It's my only way of coping with how this disaster of a chapter was handled. No map, no updated map, and the worst killer in the entire game by a long shot. Quotes from Almo saying that our feedback basically means nothing on the PTB and we're stuck with a terrible killer for at least 2 months. https://twitter.com/TricksOfShadows/status/1377124413699596291 I don't even t35 comments 451 views last activity

WOW, holy sh!t Trickster is way worse than I initially thought with PTB observation. I’ve played as and against Trickster way more than I wanted to today, and he’s far and away the worst killer in the game. Using BHVR’s backwards logic and purchasing the chapter I didn’t want to since I could already tell was pretty bad, I played as and against Trickster so that my opinion could be seen as actu4 comments 51 views last activity

Let's get through the typically long-winded introduction to these kinds of threads. Majority of people think that Freddy is boring EZ mode baby made killer. He's not interactive and his counter is boring. Let's fix that. At the beginning of a trial, survivors don't being falling asleep until Freddy hits them. Freddy shouldn't be rewarded for existing. This also ensures that he has to engage in2 comments 41 views last activity

This most recent Rift is so bad compared to the previous ones we've gotten, with even more boring charm reskins, not including the Claudette cosmetic that was supposed to be released 2 Rifts ago, and best yet, default Billy pants. So I ask, what ever happened to the cosmetic killer powers that were mentioned and teased in the survey? This is no brainer, rather than more low-quality charms, and p4 comments 111 views last activity

Well, after observing these most recent changes to The Trickster, as well as how the devs keep repeating the same mistakes for the disaster that was A Binding of Kin's release, the new UI's release, and how colorblindness was addressed, I think I can say now that I've figured out why DBD player feedback is mostly ignored. Let's compare how feedback is handled in DBD to Digital Extremes' Warframe.33 comments 671 views last activity

Wow... I honestly did not think that you guys could release an update even worse than A Binding of Kin. After the backlash from the last chapter update, I thought BHVR had learned something based on all the feedback and the statement released. After leaving my own feedback (see below) I was left feeling reluctantly optimistic for what was to come, holding onto the hope that the devs had learn1 comments 71 views last activity

Instead of restricting the colorblind settings to type, also allow the colors of auras, scratches, etc. to be customized manually! This would be much better, as it would allow all players to change things to a color easiest to see0 comments 1 views last activity

Random map generation is a detriment to Dead by Daylight, not a benefit. The random generation of tiles and pallets vary greatly, sometimes being the determining factor in which side wins the match. Some maps have huge dead zones with minimal pallets and weak tiles, while others are huge with strong pallets and tiles linked together. This unneeded aspect of the game also hurts DBD's balance and8 comments 81 views last activity

This is a response to the following post with a few suggestions: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/211911/news-4-4-0-release-statement As we're all aware of by now, Chapter 18, "A Binding of Kin" released to much discourse and negativity due to the abhorrent amount of bugs on release, non-functional perks, and an incomplete and broken killer. The ways in which Moris were changed aren't the right call in my opinion. They went from incredibly overpowered to extremely situational. Now that Moris require getting the survivor to the second hook state, they are actually an hinderance to killers unless the survivor has Decisive Strike. Mori animations take more time than bringing the survivor to the hook in most scenarios, and so killers wou0 comments 21 views last activity

Lam gave me a cool idea. Was playing Zarina and noticed she wasn’t sharing her walkie, and my friend suggests that comms can be an ITEM by implementing a walkie-talkie item so players can communicate over long distances. Maybe each item is counted as a pair so you can give one of your teammates a walkie, meaning that not everyone has to bring a walkie to communicate. Killers should probably be a0 comments 21 views last activity

Title, and it’s easy. Just nerf the effectiveness of the other Hex Perk similarly to how it works off of tokens. For instance, cleansing Ruin will reduce the effectiveness by 50%. Ruin cleansed once? Now it regresses gens at 150% speed instead of 200%. Cleansed twice, 100%, and so on. Time-based Hexes such as Haunted Ground and Retribution can have the time the effect is active can be reduced.7 comments 61 views last activity

Yes, this is about Hillbilly lol. I'm usually one to let new changes to the game, no matter how unlikeable they initially seem have a fair chance. I was fine with Nurse's changes. I thought the Spirit add-on changes were good. I even initially gave Hillbilly's changes a chance, until I saw them in action. After the devs massively scales back the changes for Billy, most people thought it'd be ov0 comments 31 views last activity

Title. It's infuriating to me that someone thought it'd be a good idea to tie what makes half of the game even playable for some people to a perk slot. The abysmal base field of view for killer instills motion sickness, dizziness, and headaches in me as well as other people I've talked to and seen online. Shadowborn shouldn't be a perk. It should be a slider in every killer's options. That's m30 comments 752 views last activity

Seriously, they ruin the game. It's not fun to do next to nothing special and basically guarantee a win. This is especially true for Moris, as after only a single hook you can completely remove someone from the game, and it's especially unfun when the person has to wait 10+ minutes to play a game only to get booted from it in less than 5. Keys, on the other hand, can basically guarantee an ins12 comments 571 views last activity

Clown, probably the worst killer in the game right now. No map pressure, boring to play as and against. How do we make him good and fun, while keeping him similar in concept to what he is now? There are many challenges we face everyday. Often times, these challenges have a physical manifestation, like a person. They are our enemies. And sometimes, the enemy that we face... is our own selves. KILLER: THE FALLEN (ROSE LEE WARD) BACKGROUND: Rose Lee Ward could only be described as simply wonderful. She brought joy to anyone she encountered. Her cheery attitude was seemingly infecti1 comments 61 views last activity

Welcome all! Writing this in class, as I'm very bored. I thought that I might as well propose some ideas for The Trapper to make him much more consistent and a lot stronger for higher-level play. A huge problem with Mr. Trap that's pretty much been a problem unaddressed since the game began is the fact that he has way too much counter-play. Currently Trapper's power can be completely countered9 comments 222 views last activity

Hello and welcome to what seems to be like the 7 millionth Legion thread. In this thread, I'll be constructing a very radical Legion rework from various ideas to make what I would consider the IDEAL Legion. If you aren't too keen on bigger changes for Legion, then this thread may not be for you, however, the changes I propose are what I personally think could be a very fun Legion who uses the id13 comments 201 views last activity

Okay, last time. I've done two posts now to update Ghostie and make him a bit better. I... somehow forgot to actually include my changes for the add-ons and perks in the last post. I can see why no one commented, lol. I promise, this is (probably) my last one. With a ton more Ghostie experience under my belt, here's some stuff that I think Ghostie needs to make him pretty much perfect. _____13 comments 101 views last activity

Since the Ruin changes, though not finite (yet), let's give some buffs to Lullaby to make it actually useful. Here are my ideas: Huntress Lullaby grows in power for each survivor hooked. Survivors receive an 6% regression penalty when missing a skill check. There is no skill check warning. 1 Token - Regression Penalty is increased by 2%. 2 Tokens - Skill Checks will periodically be reversed3 comments 101 views last activity

Is it seriously too much to ask to actually make the console version of the game not running like there's 300 NPCs on a PS1 game? The console frame rate is still downright atrocious, and costs games, especially on the killer side. Hopefully people at BHVR can focus on it to actually make the game playable, because what we have now is unacceptable. (As you can tell, I'm pretty salty.)14 comments 282 views last activity

The bloodpoint grind is absolute insanity. There are 19 playable survivors and 17 playable killers currently (as of Nov. 12, 2019). That is 57 survivor perks and 51 killer perks to reach for. Maxing a character takes about an estimated 1.6 MILLION bloodpoints, with all characters currently requiring around 57.6 MILLION bloodpoints. On average, players will earn between 10-25 thousand bloodpoints10 comments 102 views last activity

About a month ago, with my second DBD forum post, I suggested some changes that I thought would be beneficial to playing as and against The Ghost Face. While I think the post was a little controversial, I think no one really seemed to explain why my proposed changes wouldn't be helpful to Ghost, and instead seemed to focus on one of my points, so with more experience and varied play, as well as m0 comments 22 views last activity

Collecting the last bits of data for a follow-up post I made on Ghost Face potential changes. I would like to know your personal stance on The Ghost Face, preferably with a comment that includes: How good you think Ghostie is. Your opinion on Night Shroud's reveal mechanic. Your opinion on Night Shroud's expose mechanic. The pros/cons of Night Shroud. How effective Night Shroud is in chase10 comments 102 views last activity

The Ghost Face is in a really weird position where people are incredibly divisive on where he stands as a killer between all the rank divisions. Many people think that he's terrible, while others think he's one of the best killers in the game. I've had much experience playing both as and against The Ghost Face, and me, as well as many on the internet can agree with his problems, those being: Ni50 comments 581 views last activity

Hey DBD forums! PS4 loser here looking for just a general introduction to the site. I am a fairly newer player (around the rank 12 area for killers/survivors, about 60 hrs.) and am just looking for a general guide to the site. Are newer player's opinions valued as much as older players? What's the forum etiquette? What should I definitely be aware of in advance when it comes to making sugges42 comments 2,131 views last activity
