I'm a Survivor main, I play Killer super casual and only really to complete Rift challenges. I could never really invest the same amount of time into Killer to Pip up and play at Red ranks, it's just not that fun to me and, I don't really care about "winning". There is a lot to pick from when it comes to RE and I would imagine the 'rights' are in several locations. My dire hope, is that we get Nemesis, Claire and Leon RE2 style. You do that, smash hit! When I play killer, I would say I know three to five minutes into the match whether or not the survivors are good and if I need to play hard. If the gens are popping and they are able to run me through loops and pallets, I know I need to play hard, it's going to be a close game and, I shouldn't hold back. I don't know what the devs are planning, some major rework or purpose of keys? I think a simple solution is to make keys only accessible "in game". If you happen to find one in a chest, fair game. It could make chest perks more valuable as well and, wouldn't require major rework. I guess if you were really lucky you could pull a key with the addon not to lose it. DBD has been one of the most frustrating games to learn. Many of the perks, builds and, addon mechanics are completely hidden and a new player has no idea why he is being revealed or exposed. I enjoy a challenge and the gameplay so I kept logging on to get better and, watching some popular streamers has helped a lot. I have a hard time selling this game to my friends. I see a lot of threads about how one side or the other is over powered and, I've been curious for a long time. What does the data say? How many games end with a Killer 4k as opposed to all survivors escaping? My favorite build is Mettle of Man / Breakout / Sabotage / Dead hard Breakout build is the most fun in DBD. The plays always feel great! A flashlight, med kit or, toolbox fit perfectly in this build. It's getting pretty bad, I've noticed recently. I would say one third of matches at least one Survivor DC's. I know MMR is messed up, not sure how much weight I put into the ranking system to begin with. I have a couple hundred hours into the game, I've only ever seen a Killer DC maybe three times, total. BBQ is in the minds of every survivor, every game, whether the killer has it or not. I don't mind the perk in theory but I would suggest a change. Instead of secretly revealing survivors for a few seconds, have it make the survivors scream, like doctor. This gives the killer locations and disrupts any action the survivors were taking. Hex: Ruin / BBQ / Nurse's calling / (your preference) This is a tough build, when my team gets wrecked, 90% of the time, its some variation above. Thoughts, opinions? Put that build on Doctor or Clown and remove all stealth from the game. It's usually these kinds of matches I find to be short, frustrating and not fun. I've been learning and watching, I've experienced a great deal of frustration with this game but can also find it challenging and fun. That largely depends on each match.
