Had my first experience with a P100 version of these the other day and I found it more punishing than old nurse in gideons meat plant. He had used a macmillan offering, so the map was pretty ideal for him. He had lethal pursuer and apparently came for me, first. I ended up being smacked while shaking heads with another survivor ~15 seconds into the match. By the time I was unhooked another survi53 comments 2,022 views last activity

Because of their scare potential, I was super excited to play Onryo and the Dredge, only to realize that they are really weak which makes them not much fun to play. They both seem to fall behind, but Onryo especially so. I wanted to try for the adept with Onryo after you changed the requirements for Merciless victories, but I have struggled to kill more than one or two people. Features added to level the playing field for solo queue should help a lot - I look forward to this as I play solo exclusively when I play survivor. The nurse changes were surprisingly good. I didn't realize just how powerful it is to have her blink attacks not be special attacks - this should make her easier to face. Granted, the people who will be hit hardest by this are going to be people who2 comments 21 views last activity

It's a lot to ask I guess, considering that they extended the rift to 85 days with 6.3.0, but there were technical issues for both xbox and playstation. Both xbox and playstation suffered crashes from the halloween event, which was fixed in November(?). Then there was a cursor issue on playstation. I couldn't reliably play until the middle of december, and by that time I was busy with holiday stu14 comments 191 views last activity

It's incredibly easy to do, requires to no effort and can provide an advantage whether survivors do it or not. If you take the time to look, the survivor you're after gains more ground. If you don't look you have to consider you're potentially letting survivors get away. It would be fair to add a notification, like a white aura around the killer's camera when a survivor is within less than a met13 comments 321 views last activity

Would you support Eruption's incapacitate effect functioning like Merciless Storm's blocking effect? So, when a survivor is downed, instead of automatically being hit with incapacitate, you are instead faced with continuous skill checks for 10 seconds. If any affected survivor misses one of those skillchecks, or stops repairing the generator each survivor on that generator are inflicted with 15 seconds of incapacitate. I will get to the end of a match, during EGC or when leaving the arena, and the game will freeze and either my playstation shuts off after a minute, or I have to unplug it. I'm worried that doing this too much is going to damage my device. Prior to the patch I had thought it may have been due to cheaters, so I setup a VPN server to redirect my traffic through which worked for a while. But, it ev2 comments 31 views last activity

I've heard of the acronym "Fear of Missing Out" but in what context is it relevant to BHVR, specifically? It seems like a special context... or is that not the case? I've been gone a year, and have read very little about all that's changed beyond perks and abilities. Thanks9 comments 261 views last activity

Some people online were recently talking about Greg on the TV show "Abbott Elementary" showing autistic traits without explicitly labeling him autistic and I immediately thought about Jonah and his similarities to that. Like, how his backstory, his perks and the descriptions on some of his outfits fits that bill: He's deeply invested in a narrow set of interests He's fixated on exposing bad ac9 comments 532 views last activity

I will be playing a match normally, and at any random time the game will lose it's audio or some other weird thing will be missing and about 5-10 seconds later the game will freeze. Sometimes it happens at the end of the match when transitioning to the scoreboard. BHVR: "duh! *****" Well, I've never been so happy to have been proved wrong. I think you guys did a great job with patch 6.1.0 and I'm hoping you keep with adjusting things to make the game more equitable regardless of role. I've been playing for a few weeks now and haven't found the game to be completely different, but different enough to be refreshing. During the third year anniversary livestream, the level design team described how map reworks were going to adjust pallet loops to make them more equitable by making them smaller, but more numerous. However, after springwood was reworked with this in mind... it seems that idea was abandoned, because none of the loops on any of the new maps seem smaller. If anything they seem larger, and more nume35 comments 401 views last activity

Initially I was on board with these changes, because I hadn't played her, I guess. After having played her, I realized the only mindgames available are at vaulting locations. Outside of that, the directional audio cue tells people EXACTLY what I'm doing. So, if during a chase I hear someone fixing a gen, I will sometimes hit the person being chased and then phase to the person on the gen. But,1 comments 71 views last activity

Vampyr is one of my favorite games for it's atmosphere and immersion, and was thinking it would be awesome to see the protagonist as a killer in DBD, a stage based on 1918 london, and some chase music composed in the spirit of Vampyr by Oliviere Deriviere. If you've never played it, in the game, the primary way you move around during combat is by doing quick little teleports around the environme1 comments 51 views last activity

Sure, they activate differently, but are ultimately interchangeable in any circumstance I can think of. Endurance has some serious restrictions on use, but dead hard does not. Considering that, doesn't this make Dead Hard stronger than the endurance status effect? If so, why does it not have as many restrictions as endurance does?5 comments 131 views last activity

While playing survivor I've been running into killers that land a hit after the pallet has dropped. I'm on PS4 so I haven't made a video, but I do have video of it. Basically, one time, just as a wraith was uncloaking, I made it to the pallet and dropped it just as he lunged - about a full second before the hit connected. On my screen the pallet was already down and the hit still occurred. My pi4 comments 51 views last activity

Just make them give the survivors a notification that they are using their power. While you're at it, remove the damn tiger sound from the pig. Make it footsteps or something. Please... anything. I know these boon totems are going to be hell.2 comments 41 views last activity

I don't know how all this stuff is calculated with the charges and whatnot, but I'm assuming that if four survivors equip vigil, a 40 second exhaustion timer would expire in 18 seconds: 40/2.2 Assuming that is the case, if those four survivors also have head-on, they can stun the killer in a sequence, netting a 12 second stun. You keep nerfing and changing killers so that synergies between addons and perks don't function very well, if at all. Granted, you're increasing synergies this patch with some hex perks, which I'm happy for. But, so many killer perks are bound up with too many conditions to allow for many synergies.6 comments 92 views last activity

edit2: I had removed the content of this post after seeing the new addons on twitter, but realized, they're likely going to remove tampered timer at a later date. Basically removing her strongest addon combos. Now, granted, this addon is only strong with a specific build, but it creates some fun gameplay. I would argue it's one of her strongest addons, too. As a survivor, when you apply Blast Mine, or use Head-on, the ability is not used and does not go on cooldown if the killer was not affected in any way. With Dragon's grip, if you apply it to a generator and it never fires in those 30 seconds, the perk still goes on cooldown and resets. If a survivor doesn't interact with a generator that has had Dragon's Grip applied to it, allow the killer to0 comments 31 views last activity

First off, thank you for the hatch change. That was needed. Why change deathslinger? why change spirit? they aren't over-performing, the survivors just don't think they're fun to face. Why don;t you tell the survivors this isn't called "Survive by Daylight". Thank you for the plague changes, this should create some interesting gameplay. Again, the average of perk changes is in survivor's favor9 comments 51 views last activity

The killer spends more time in the match than all of the survivors, and often times they can max all of their categories well before the match is over. The returns diminish too quickly, so I would like to see 10k categories for killers. Change hunting score events for finding a survivor to not halve until the category is halfway full. When you hit multiple people with area of effect powers (lik0 comments 1 views last activity

Because you feel it's necessary to change things that are seemingly unfair and imbalanced, like Deathslinger being able to aim too quickly, I think that you should also remove standing fast vaults at pallets. It's not fair, and allows ALMOST every loop with a pallet to function as an infinite until the killer breaks it. Survivors have 10 tokens for fast vaulting. Every time they fast vault, one is used. While in a chase, the tokens regenerate once every 10 seconds. Outside of a chase, token regenerate every 5 seconds. When out of tokens, survivors can only medium vault until they have more tokens. This would force survivors to be more mindful of when their vaulting rather than simply always having this power at8 comments 91 views last activity

I was thinking that they could serve that purpose. However, what's the point in having them if a knowledgeable team understands how to clear 5 gens in less than 10 minutes? Who needs a boon without a bane? Should we assume some buff is coming for killer that will make the boon totems necessary and/or useful? Because the way the game is currently, they don't seem to fit.15 comments 101 views last activity

I really hope that you guys have been working to make survivors more powerful because you're about to buff the base game for killers. Because, just after reading some of the proposed changes I'm feeling like this is gonna be it for me. For the past two years 90% of the killers you've released have a power that is an attack in a straight line, that requires very precise aiming to land, and on top3 comments 21 views last activity

So, previously, there was a long queue to play killer. I don't know hwy but somehow that queue has disappeared. However, regardless of that, it still sucks because survivors SOMEHOW MIRACULOUSLY figured out that if they just keep someone on gens at all times the game is over in 5-8 minutes! So, basically, I have to play spirit or nurse to have any chance in hell. There is literally no point in pl0 comments 11 views last activity

Survivor times never seem to get longer, they're always short and have been since they did the SBMM test, and since SBMM was made live. Killer timers are never any different, they are always long regardless of the time of day, or which killer is chosen. I don't know how the condition to check for player proximity during pallet validation was overlooked, but these things happen, and I'm just glad you guys fixed it promptly. I don't know if anyone knew, but this wasn't only a problem on the PTB. It was denying me a lot of good calls and mind games; it was really discouraging. So, thank you.0 comments 21 views last activity

After the pallet stun changes, I'm sure a lot of survivors are rejoicing as they don't get hit with weird laggy hits, but why does BHVR feel it's necessary for killer's to deal with this if they feel survivors shouldn't? It happens to me a lot, where I will be playing killer, go to hit a survivor and having something like this happen (clip starts at example pallet stun) https://yo25 comments 152 views last activity

Most of the advantages PC had over console were addressed before crossplay launched, or soon after. BHVR did a great job increasing camera sensitivity, and making next-gen console versions of the game, which addressed FPS disparities. (still haven’t been able to get one of these) Graphics settings are still an issue, though. From what I understand, by using low settings or an application, PC pla0 comments 1 views last activity

Most people know that second chance perks aren't OP on their own, but become OP when they're stacked, and completely broken when SWFs use them in orchestrated sequences. In an effort to balance that, exhaustion could be applied for 30 seconds any time Endurance is applied to a survivor. There should be an immunity to blindness after being blinded. Being blinded again before you’ve recovered isn’t fair. Yes, yes, you can just look up, or down to get it to stop, but anyone who is new that doesn’t understand that will just stand there and take it, like this guy does over the next ~15 seconds of this clip. Hitting a survivor gives them enough speed and distance to reach a pallet more than 16m away. So, it really doesn’t become useful until some of the pallets are gone, which never happens because it’s a hex and is removed before a lot of the pallets are gone. Also, once most of the pallets are gone, there's little need for it anymore. If the hit that activates it downs a survivor, it protects you4 comments 31 views last activity

I was excited to rush to get her to p3-50, but when I got the outfit I was let down. There's little difference between the default body and the prestige body piece. On the prestige version, the cloth and knapsack(?) is a bit darker, and theres some blood around the edges of the cloth, as well as on the legs and hands, but it's paltry :/ I thought the headpiece was alright, as well as the weapon.0 comments 1 views last activity

Iunno, I don't mean to complain... but I've been playing regularly for more than two years and am only partially 'complete'; I play almost every killer game using BBQ and chili with a BP offering if I have one; I have finished every rift, and still, at this point I have only the killers at P3 with most at 50. All of my survivors are 50, some P1-3. When new killers are released it takes about 7m0 comments 11 views last activity

When leveling, only tier one perks appear in the bloodweb, but for every bloodweb you finish you get a token. Those tokens you collect can then be used to level up perks that you already have. The only problem I see with this is restricting tokens to each respective character that earns them, which wouldn't be too difficult to do, but it would be necessary. First off, I don't understand why the developers are opposed to changing Spine Chill's interaction with undetectable. Maybe you're not, but because it's never addressed, I assume that's the case. First off, the lag is incredibly terrible. If we could I would love it if we could go back to p2p instead of dedicated servers. There's been nothing but problems since these were implemented.
