Not bad, I have to wait 10 mins, during that I browse and stuff.
If you start playing Killer you will have long queue times (there is only a few survivors at rank 20 most of em play with friends and quickly rank up). At rank 10 its 2-5mins depending on what daytime you play and redranks is instant.
-
Trap RNG is a thing but also Map RNG... very big maps or maps with no grass (number increasing) also hurt trapper alot.

Do you think it’s fun for survivors to get camped and tunneled to death? I swear if tunneling wasn’t a problem there would be no such thing as genrush.
have you ever heard of corrupt intervention, surveillance and other perks? They are very good for gen defense.
Maybe you should play Killer higher than rank 10 ^^ cuz i bet your one of the persons turning into a camping Killer. Try redranks my friend

Well a survivor just dc`d right when loading into the map and somehow bugged my Twins so i couldnt summon victor the entire match ... yay fun

Trapper is really good at teaching the fundamentals, including why it’s important to identify which areas of the map are important to try and control, and which areas you need to let go of, which are also the same areas you shouldn’t let survivors lead you to during chases.
Yeah but the number of Maps without grass increases more and more ^^
-
Just ask yourself: When was the last time that you would give a struggling Killer a hook (or a Kill) on purpose.
So he doesnt leave the match with nothing...
-
Well most of us would ask for brown bag addon (1 TRAP SLOT) as a buff but hey starting with ~8 Traps seems also fair.
-
Killer is piss easy vs rank 20-15 a bit harder vs 15-10 then it starts to become a challenge at 10-5 and pretty much a unfair (depends on the killer you play) sweatfest in 5-1
Bubba: For Perks (BBQ) and overall a solid Killer to start with
Doctor: Very good if you suck at tracking
Legion: Again if you suck at tracking and want to farm bloodpoints (and you need millions of bloodpoints).
Freddy: Well he can do everything
Legion and Doctor are very strong vs new Survivors cuz they rely on stealth instead of looping.

I say that Nemesis is stronger than Pyramid Head. Nemesis can; (say what you will regarding their similar ranged powers)
- hit over smaller walls, windows, and pallets (he can hit survs instead of breaking pallets in tier 2) this makes it to where loops and dropped pallets become a utility to Nem and a hazard to survs, stronger pallets should be broken though.
- loops can give him guaranteed tentacle hits and vaccines wont change anything. If surv avoid loops its easier to hit them than whip them.
as long as enough pressure is given than, similar to any other killer, Nemesis is going to be very strong. so focusing on whipping on loops is easier than doing it on the open where you could focus on basic attacks. still performs better than other killers though for real.
Both M2 Powers are strong (nemesis is better in small loops / PH is better when hitting multiple survivor / hitting through walls).
PH just has a better Passiv (granting you information + the amount of time you can safe but not being forced to pick up a survivor + ignoring certain perks like ds/bt).
Zombies are kinda brainded most of the time and i use em more for tracking (whenever you look at their aura and see em raise their hands they found a survivor in that direction).
-
I hope its never.. its a horrible map to play on (dont get me wrong it looks great). But if i load into this map with 80% of my killers i would be "plz shoot me".

Yep and I do the same with clown. Doesn’t mean he’s good.
30 second cooldown is just too much against good survivors
Agree they have to nerf the cooldown reduction addons and buff the base cooldown (its 30sec base but can go down to 16sec cd with a green and yellow if i recall it right).
Or they change how his power behaves on a successful attack on a marked target). I wouldnt refund cd on normal hits or people will just use it to hide red stain in loops.
-
His Tentacle strike is not a auto-hit (raising your arm = 0.35sec and time to hit is 0.25sec). Giving Survivor 2m to dodge to the left or right (if they pay attention ofc).
Also not dropping the palette and running straight away from nemesis will result in a miss of his power too (so its a 50/50 situation).
-
"my Games are fine thus you are wrong mentality"
What People try to say is ... the Devs have to find a way how to nerf these tryhard swf >red< ranks ending games in 5mins and buff new solo survivors at rank 20...
Thats why we have survival rates of 25% at rank 20 and above 75% at rank 1 (search the dev statistic they released a while ago).
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
When 4 solo survivor at rank 20 with no perks play a match it favors the Killer.
When 4 great survivor with the best perks in a swf group on discord go tryhard the game heavly favors survivor.
When 1-2 survivor do random things you have a decent game (i.e if you sit at rank 11 most of the games have a decent length).
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Long Story short if you sit in red ranks and dont play the strongest Killers you can complain... if you play spirit at rank8 and above and complain well get gud :D.
Adjusting Killer Hitbox to match Survivor Hitbox would be the go-to solution (cuz most survivor dont even know they can run certain loops tighter then the killer and waste insane amount of time). So it would only affect the best 1% of survivor and not the casual playerbase.
-
Dunno if i am allowed to post gifs xD
He has many sneaky spots he can hit through. His M2 is strong for sure only the contamination parts need some love.
window hit.gif -
I love ghostsfaces kit but its just too slow... you cant sneak around the map and meanwhile lose 3 gens just to run into a person who has Spine Chill...but Myers has the same problem tho.
-
He is middle of the pack (his power goes through many smaller walls or barricaded windows).
I just dont think you will see him in red ranks alot. His first tentacle hit giving a survivor a movement speed boost is the main problem imo. Even if you hook someone they will just go for a vaccine after and your back at zero (and as we know redrank games are very short so you will most likely run out of gens before they run out of vaccine).
Also once people start to dodge away from Nemesis (unlike PH`s Power which is 8m range + addons ~10m his is only 5m so most of the time you could avoid it by running away from Nemesis at a loop.
-
It rly needs a change ^^
-
If you dislike NOED so much maybe run the perk Small Game and you know cleanse the totems?
-
@CaenumPlays_ said:
The one thing which needs changing asap is Survivors getting a speed boost when becoming contaminated.
It even says in the power description that when becoming contaminated there’s a small hindered effect on the survivor, so why do they get a speed boost too when it does no damage?
It also nerfs his tier 3 because survivors can stay contaminated until he reaches tier 3, then just use the vaccines so every chase requires 3 hits if he wants to use his power. Nemesis already suffers the attack cooldown animation, the speed boost is grossly unnecessary.
Have seen many survivor streamers intentionally run into zombies during chase to get the speed boost away.
They get the hindered effect (for 0.25sec according to wiki). ^^

This has been happening with all maps and survivors for a bit now, even before the update. Was hoping it'd get fixed today but there was no mention of it.
Hm okay good 2 know i guess ^^
-
Have you tried the perk Lightborn (this perk might become even more interesting with the incoming spike of flashbangs in your game starting in 4 days). ^^
-
He could pull downed survivors on their hairs towards a hook (and the entity hooks em) or they add a new way of hooking (similar to Pyramid Head) where Chucky nails em on the ground.
One of his abilitys has to be nails on windows / dropped palettes which hurt survivor vaulting through em (nails can be removed by survivors similar how they disarm trapper beartraps).
Also maybe add a Nail-Bomb to Generators (chucky tends to use lots of nails in airbags etc).
-
Twins are fun what are you talking? You can hear victor and you can kick him ... do it.
-
Smaller Killer Hitbox ^^

I definitely don't agree with that. What's the difference between killing yourself on hook and just pressing the "leave game" button? You can never force somebody to stay in a game they aren't having fun in, it just punishes players who are trying to get into the lobby and find a new game faster.
Logic of someone using DC and killing himself frequently i see.
a) Its a 5 Player Game just leaving a match cuz you dont have "fun" messes with 4 other players (that alone is a reason to have dc penalty).
b) For the Killer it matters to get the Hook (and the additional hook state if you ######### on a hook) vs the oldschool days of people dc before you can hook em to deny you points so you depip.
c) Killing yourself in the first few mins of a game should also invoke a penalty (atleast we agree on that).
d). SWF used the "DC" Tech to give the last survivor hatch (again to f with killer).
e). Also people dc on the ground denied you Perk usages (like BBQ gettin tokens on hex: totems etc).
-
one of the better things they added. Its a basic thing for a multiplayer game there is no arguing about it ^^
-
The Game is not balanced for 4 random bad survivor with no perks or 4 good survivor in a swf group with the best perks... its not a problem you can solve by adding more perks (which new players wont have access too) or a mmr system.
MMR works in games like league cuz champions and stuff is mostly balanced (unlike DBD).
-
How is this relevant? If you care about M&K buy a PC... why play on a console when you bother about such things... or just turn of crossplay.
-
Its based on rank too so if you are rank 1 or close to rank 1 good luck gettin it...
Cuz everything has to work out perfectly for you (and when this happens survivor will dc left and right).
I just had someone dc cuz he got downed first vs me playing clown... imagine dcing vs clown...
-
The spawn of windows is rng + maps have strong and weak areas for killer / survivor. All you can do is defend generators far away from such spots and when a survivor reaches em leave em.
Focus on killing the others first and then you can take your time.
If you start playin Huntress you will see even worse map problems (pretty much a survivor reaching certain loops means you have to insta drop the chase cuz there is nothing you can do to shorten the chase cuz killer hitbox is bigger then survivor so they can run certain loops tighter and huntress is also slower then normal this could eat minutes of your team running in circles on a small 4m loop (no windows anything).

Literally no one does gens with an active trap on their head unless it's the last gen and it's like 90 percent or above, then MAYBE. But I've never seen that happen.
What I usually do anyway is, I check 2 boxes before the trap is active (if I'm not on hook when it activates). Then I hop on a gen. That way when it DOES activate, I only have 2 or 3 boxes left to check.
Better survivor know that rbt only activates after a generator is done and then its a 2min 30 timer (plenty of time). So yes they repair a half finished gen to prevent it from being regressed with ruin.
You could even ignore the entire mechanic by rushing a gen and leaving with a key (your rbt will not trigger on hatch escapes).

The detection perk is imo required if you want to play with ruin, bc you have to contest the gens, otherwise ruin won't do much for you. Sure you can see the survs with killer instinct, but you need to frency hit someone to get it. And then it's still limited time and range (unless you have legion pin). When you are currently searching for someone to chase (e.g. at the start), or all remain injured so you do not have much incentive to frency, then you have no tracking. Now that I think of it, maybe Tinkerer would be a nice choice, since it's tracking and Undetectability to get sneaky hits.
You find survivor rather quickly (1 survivor always spawns near a Killer and 3 spawn far away from you). Same logic for survivor if you spawn alone (and there was no split offering) then you are close to the killer.
Even if you get no information from Killer Instict you should know its range and then its not too hard to guess where Survivor will be (people seem to only focus on the hey this power shows me a icon i can ran towards when it also tells you "hey this area has no survivor in it search somewhere else").

Pwyf is practically worthless for Legion. Their whole concept is reliant on constantly attacking, which uses up the charges before they can be useful. If you don't want to run a slow down build, and really wanna focus pallets, bring Enduring + Spirit Fury and an Iridescent Pin. Then you might as well take advantage of the map wide TR with Unnerving Presence and Lullaby.
I think the point of Pwyf (dunno who suggested it) is that you Feral Frenzy everyone and when you leave the obssession you get 1 stack of pwyf and cuz every survivor is injured you can now down em more quickly with the 5% increase.
-
Hard to call a game scary when the Killer and a survivor runs a 4m circle loop for 1min. Also Spine Chill spoils all the fun on stealth killers too

@CaulDrohn said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/115682/legion-is-useless-now-change-my-mind
As others pointed out already, Noed and Brutal are not best choice.
Ruin is not such a bad choice, since Legion is fast and can contest gens, but I feel you need to protect it (Undying would be best) and/or have some detection perk to know which gen the survs are repairing, so you can interrupt then and let ruin degress it (Discordance / Surveillence). So one possibility would be BBQ, Ruin, Undying and Discordance / Surveillance.
Instead of ruin, you could use Pop, which works reasonably well with BBQ. Even better would be Pop+Thrilling. If you want to have more chase power, instead of Brutal you could equip Enduring, and try to let them stun you out of the frenzy so you don't have to wait out the lengthy cooldown. You could add spirit fury for extra spice. My current build with legion is exactly that, BBQ, Pop, Enduring & Spirit Fury. Works quite well even without legion pin.
There's also "forever / anti-heal legion" where you stack slowdown perks like Sloppy, Thanato and Dying light. But thats really despised survivors, I don't like that myself. I feel playing with enduring / spirit fury is more engaging.
With legion, even if you only 0k, you should still get quite some points out of it. Bc of his multiple hits in frenzy, he gets so many scoring events which boost his BP gains, even when performing sub-optimal. Legion is just one of the weakest killers, if you can accept this and maybe change your mindest a little when playing with him, you should be alright. Use them as a BP-grinding machine :).
Mending is not healing btw (also better survivor dont heal vs legion anyway). And his power is the best information Power in the game (its not only about the survivor you see with killer instinct but the ones you dont see so you have a good idea about survivor locations most of the game). So he does not need information Perks imo.
As mentioned Undying + Ruin is core for most Legion Players but Oblivious Perks are also very strong (cuz survivor dont heal up and get caught offguard).
-
The Game is not balanced for super slow or super fast survivor and bhvr has to stop tryin to balance it with perks .. the best you can do is stay at rank 8-10 and most of your games are rather balanced.
-
And thats why nobody should judge anything in this game when he does not play both sides... atleast purple ranks (duh).
its a Wallhack for already strong 4swf groups
You play Myers with a 8m Terroradius ... well too bad the obsession can see you all the time and warn everyone (taking away your biggest strength).
The OoO is most often the best looper in their team stacked with survival Perks (DH Adrenaline DS Tenacity). While the others run perks to safe him in the case he messes up.

i think he's weak and trash tier at red ranks against constant 4man swf's with discord.
Well B Tier is not useless
- You can stall the game by forcing multiple survivor to mend (bonus points for holding generators).
- If you combine his power with Oblivious Effects (Dark Devotion / nemesis / Death bound) you can catch survivor offguard and they never heal vs Legion.
- Legion benefits from the PiP System cuz it rewards finding survivor and ending chases fast (both super easy to do with his power).

Personally I don't know what they could do but I feel suiciding should be punished. I had an idea about gen speeds months ago. What if we had some sort of AI Director like in L4d. Something that watches the flow of the match and adjusts things depending on whats happening.
If survivors die early, survivors repair gens faster, are more likely to kobe, higher luck when searching chests
If the killer is getting crushed gens repair slower, survivors take longer to heal.
Little things like that. I still feel the core problem is quitters.
Well i suggested a Charge Based Repair System (hooked survivor lose charge = repair slower while the others who safe or get near a camped hook get a repair speed buff). You could add charge to the remaining survivor but i dont think even with faster repairs you will win a game in a 3vs1. Just punish those who kill themself early or dc on purpose.
If only we had a system to punish dc and survivor couldnt kill themself right away.
-
Legion is more then fine its just you sry mate :D
maybe not change your mind but change the game.
-
I still think Clown could use some smaller Improvments but i agree that i would rather play the Clown then Blight being able to shut down the strongest part of great survivor (loops survivor can run tighter then killer cuz different hitboxes).
Blight can be looped forever and great survivor dodge his Charge cuz of his low turnrate.
Also some might not remember a time when Clown was good and it was a race against time of him eating through paletes (with brutal strength spirit fury old ruin).

This isn't the best solution with a Pig who wants to tunnel you the whole game. Encountered one yesterday actually.
Trap Time pauses in chase .... you start a chase by running while pig looks at you just sayin.
-
You either blame your team or the Killer (i wonder how many survivor complaining about camping / tunneling never sneak or play around BBQ and have zero looping skills).
-
I will add her to the list of Killers Survivor want to get nerfed:
Spirit Deathslinger Pyramid Head Freddy Doctor + Hag
-
Tbh most survivor think a Killer HAS to obey these rules (which is wrong: we do it cuz we are nice players or want to challenge ourself).
Tunneling / Camping (talkin about makin sure a survivor dies after he reached second hook not face camping from the start) is doing your objective a efficient way (and this is a fact).
Some salty survivor are super offended by Killers abusing their weakness when they do the same by doing gens as fast as possible (you could do it slower when you see the killer is struggling but will you slow down?).
Noed: Its just a revenge perk after you lost the game a good Killer will bring perks to help win the Game. Nothing wrong with it cuz they can just do bones to counter it and even if they die to noed they still had a full game of making bloodpoints.
Mori: Pure Bullshit (similar to Keys). Being able to speed up Killing is not very good for the Game (they should only work after 2 hooks).
So in the end play as you wish (just dont use moris unless the devs force you with dailys and challenges).
-
Adjust Killer Hitbox to match Survivor Hitbbox
+
Nerf Nurse / Spirit / Hag / Spirit / Freddy / PH
a trade i would always make :D

When his sword is down dont drop a Palette or jump a Window (if his sword is not down you can do it and still have time to dodge the wave).
He can only drop his sword for 5sec (without addons) and he moves slower just run away.
His wave can always be dodged (PH has to guess the direction you dodge to get a hit).
Similar to Deathslinger you drop Palettes early cuz you dont want to end in a lose / lose situation (something you can avoid).
