I never bought this one, I play this game constantly and I’ll buy cosmetics but a battlepass in a paid game made me lose some respect. Sure it’s a good deal if you look at it, but the grind is just way too much, especially with other games that came out. I’ll have to see how the next one is :/

If it gets good publicity, content, supportive devs, and cross play, I could see it being a threat for DBD. Honestly when it comes to PS4 I’m definitely going to try it out and play it but that’s just me. Remember F13th? The game was really popular and had a good fan base, was it perfect? Nope, but neither is dbd. F13th really hurt dbd and could’ve been “the dbd killer” but who knows. If it never had the lawsuit problem it probably would’ve overtook dbd and been in the top spot.
Anyways remember, this is a new chapter for the game and it’s going to get attention, don’t jump to conclusions. It could die out in a couple weeks.

@Peanits could we possibly get a review or statement for those videos? For me it just seems like a gen rush. In the first video yes tru had tunnel vision on someone, but for that many gens to be done in one chase (two with the pallet stun), just isn’t balanced.

I’m most likely waiting until the next rift, seems like a good enough break. I’ve been playing other games and surprisingly Minecraft has gained all my attention with the update on PS4. I can’t stay away from this game for a long time because I’ll start to miss it and want to play again, it’s an addiction. 😔

My first ever survivor match was against a hillbilly on the game map. I died and cried :)
Hearing the heartbeat made me panic and every time I heard the chainsaw I just ran to nowhere and hid. I have a big ol fear of chainsaws so when I got chased and heard it...I pretty much just shutdown. My chases were about 10 seconds long too so that was coool. I was terrified, but still played and found some cool friends I play with still. 😌
As for killer. I don’t wanna talk about it.

- When time is up who wins..? Blendette galore if it’s survivor, doctor galore if it’s killer.
- Infinite’s yes but strong loops no, they’re two different things. Better option would be to remove non-mindgameable loops.
- Fair, but no ds=tunnel fest. No ruin=really fast games.
- How? Anyone can say devs do this but never really how. You can’t remove slugging an camping and make it “impossible.”

Is the game perfect? Not even close. Has it stayed relevant and been played for over three years? Yes. This game is in need of health fixes and publicity but it’s been fine all these years. We may complain and I do too, but we still come back.

The legion changes did make them more fun imo.
Faster but idk about fun, it’s nice feeling quick again and hitting everyone feels satisfying, but after that and being stunned it’s just regular chasing and if they get to a good loop then welp. My opinion of course but that’s how I see them, still love them though lol.

Same, I’ve hated killer more but still play a lot of it cause I’m a dummy. Usually it’s fine but sometimes I’ll get just a liiiittle bit tilted when I get “that should’ve hit” moments...like a lot. I’ll sometimes get cucked by auto-aim (apparently there is none) and fps dying on me. Console player too so that’s fun :)

I mean...we did get a free sweater for bill and a free charm for both killer and survivor, plus all the sweaters except for the licensed ones can be bought for shards :/
I agree with the event though, it sucks. But maybe we’ll get something, if it’s a rift only thing then I’ll be upset but hopefully not. We are supposed to get a winter sale though so there’s that.

For starters they can get rid of a roadmap. It really doesn’t do anything but raise hype then whoops the thing you were exited for doesn’t happen with no update on when it’ll come out.

Devs rushed the first nerf imo. They knew people didn’t like legion at the time so they completely rushed the changes without really thinking. The only good buffs to come out of legion were:

Button changes
The amount of buffs legion got just didn’t compensate for the nerfs. An example of the devs rushing the changes is the iridescent button. It doesn’t require a hit to activate and makes your terror radius map wide which should seem good because of killer instinct right? Well...
- Making your terror radius map wide while killer instinct is active isn’t helpful at all. Most of the time you’ll hear everyone’s blimp thinking you can hit them and oh look he’s halfway across the map.
- Deep wounds doesn’t go down while in the killer’s terror radius. Iridescent button makes your terror radius map wide. WHO thought this was a good idea? You’re basically hurting yourself and making deep wounds a non existent threat when using an ultra rare add-on. Seriously?

Devs are afraid of adding powerful killers with good perks. Can’t blame them either, if they add an S tier killer with strong perks they’ll get constant “f devs” “so killer sided #########” “hell were y’all thinking” “nerf this ######### now devs.” Then again for a really strong killer it has to require skill and can’t be a pick up and master.
Flip a coin too. It’s been awhile since survivors had meta changing perks. If they add really good survivor perks, killers will bash the devs. While as broken as MoM was, it was meta changing. However it was strong and took no skill.
Personally the devs need to make a 50/50 chapter but start with strong perks. Ex:
- Killer: After downing 5/4/3 survivors, the next basic attack will instantly down a survivor.
- Survivor: When injured, after unhooking another survivor, both you and the survivor will be passively healed over the course of 20/15/10 seconds.

Just the thought of the shining being in dbd makes me happy idk why lol. The map I would be most excited for, if made well I could see it being the best map with iconic places to go. If the hedge maze is included, imagine being chased in there.

Sounds like they were going for once you hit three or max survivors the next person could be killed. Obviously that’s too overpowered sooo why not make it an insta-down..? It’s strong but rewarding. I would love a dev or even Ethan to give an answer on why this was left in the dust and if it will ever be considered again.

- When you get close, wait out their spin and stand back. Hit them after they attempt.
- Come in from the side, if you chase directly behind them they have a clear shot to 360. When you come from the side they have less room and have to adjust.
- If you somehow can’t land a hit, don’t chase, just mind game or come by surprise.
- Get them at an (unsafe) dropped pallet or window.
It’s way easier to 360 on console with a controller so don’t feel too bad. Just don’t ever feel like “trash” when you miss, it happens. Hope this helps!

When I play solo I want to die when my whole team is using it. When I play killer I thank god they’re not on gens and healing.
The only time I use self care is for medic builds, self care and botany knowledge are really nice when paired together btw. Other than that, it’s a useless perk, especially since medkits and inner strength exists
