  • How about take away bloodpoints from SWF. Make it symmetrical

This, however, would be a HUGE nerf to survivors.

They didn't listen when the same thing was said of removing the aim-assist, do you really think they'll listen now? They're too arrogant to consider that other people - the people who've experienced it from both sides - might actually know better, and too prone to projection to believe that you're being honest and actually trying to help them.

They removed the nurses aim assist.

no killer has aim assist in this game.

But that’s not how prestige works in any game. It is not a dead by daylight exclusive concept.

Okay, first of all that isn't true. I already stated that a precedent has been set in Call of Duty. Secondly, it wouldn't matter if that was true. It would be very nice to help with the grind if you could keep one perk per prestige rank. It isn't a big ask. It would make the grind through prestige ranks much more tolerable. I truly don't understand why any player would oppose this change.

Because the literal only reason you would ever pres is to grind again. To have something i work towards. Why would you actively choose to make it easier.

  • The stick isn’t that bad-

i have however, died more than once on hook because my hand cramped up while pressing x xD
  • Also, let it do what it's actually meant to do.
You see the White Aura of a Regressed Generator, nowhere does it specify that YOU have to regress it.
Why doesn't it work with Hex:Ruin?

Because regressing in this context is the result of kicking the generator, not the small debuff that goes along with missing a skillcheck

That would not be the way to reduce tunneling. Remember this; a good way to make something happen is to incentivize good behavior, not punish bad behavior.

And if the bad behavior is being rewarded anyway?

there is a psychological principle called loss aversion. Punishments (or losses) hurt twice as hard as rewards (or gains) of the same value. If we made a bet that if I flipped a coin and you called it in the air, and you called it wrong you would give me $10, most people are willing to play thag game starting at the winning value of $20

essentially, nerfs are far more effective at making people complain but also stopping bad behavior with minimal change to game balance.
  • On the dead by daylight Facebook page there was exactly a survey., like an actual poll. 80 something percent said it was camping, so I use it for camping.

    consistency is key
  • Let me guess, you are a werewolf or vampire and dont feel appropriated by dead by daylights killer selection?
    Lol. This.

anyway, based on the next killer being Mr Baker and the street journal we got focusing a lot on the moon and transforming, something werewolf like wouldn’t be to far off.

Since the realm of the entity is timeless, a werewolf chapter could even have the survivor and the killer be the same person
  • Instead of punishing killers for camping and tunneling, how about give them an incentive to play otherwise?

There is. It’s called bbq and chill. Survivors complain that it is OP

    there is make your choice.

    there is devour hope.

On top of coordinated survivors being able to simply say “do the gens (s)he is camping”

there are lots of incentives to not camp. Adding more won’t stop people from doing it.
  • Holy freaking Jesus people.

    it is not black face.

claudette is black. Letherface wears people’s faces. It’s his only character trait

WHY DO YOU THINK HE IS CALLED LEATHERFACE.

i cannot begin to phatom how people can be offended by a character being black being on a characters face, but have no issue with the fact he is litterally cutting their faces off and wearing them.

jesus. There is a time and a place for being overly sensitive. A game about serial killers ripping survivors apart is an awkward place to be thinking about the racial implications of his cosmetic.

    *rolls eyes*

  • Depends on the killer. You don't need addons for nurse to win

Though to be fair with add ons you can get 5 blinks and then perks are completely meaningless.
  • Does the killer never coming near you count as stealth?

if you did 3 gens that’s 4 points in lightbringer.

If you never helped an ally, of course you don’t get benevolent.

if you never even saw the killer of course you don’t get evader.

literally all you had to do was unhook an ally or heal or survive a good 15 seconds in a chase and you would have pipped.

(S)he wants there to be a stun on killers falling from a high level and carrying a body.

    why? Not really sure.

That would be kinda funny but by the same token the survivor should be stunned as well, perhaps half the killers stun time.

Survivors do get stunned from falling already.

  • Should not work when vaulting then it'd be fine.
Why vaulting specifically? The only killer who can trick people into vaulting near them is the spirit (by standing still at a pallet so survivors think she is invisible)
  • I’ve mentioned before on other forums to have the idea of teir 4 perks. Teachable perks that are only available to the the ones that teach them and unlocked after prestigue (the first at p1 the second and p2 and the last one at p3)

the perks would be slightly better than their counterparts or add a small extra ability. Bond on Dwight would be 40 meters, which you would get at p1, and p3 would be an upgraded leader etc etc. ONLY Dwight would be able to have these perks appear on his bloodweb, which would create end game differences within the survivors as well.

this would give survivors variety per survior, add value to Prest, and also would make sense too. Jake would be better at sabotaging hooks than any other survivor would be.

    Would also apply to killers.
  • I read this and thought you were talking from a survivors perspective hehe

The ability to distinguish between your hexes is something killers have wanted forever, basically. It won’t be happening soon
  • So no other thoughts?

Was tried and abused by survivors.
    When exactly was this tried?

Closer the killer is to the hook the slower the hook progression

There is already a 2 minute timer on a hook. That is well over what it used to be (90 seconds) which actually was abused by survivors.

when the hook time was 90 seconds you had to choose between completing a generGor or saving your ally. When they bumped up the time (to respond to camping) it became a system of “why not both”. Gen rushing wasn’t new but damn you can feel it when Gens are popping off at the same time someone is getting unhooked just before their stage 2
  • I like the idea of removing the buff altogether from the first 2 and making the 3rd hook be when the hex totem lights up
  • I dislike rank reset too. Not for the same reasons, it just feels like an arbitrary “this month everyone is rank 10 again” with no real reason to exist.
