Yeah, that's true, it also happens that three would last second switch to three falshlights.
The killer might not always get the 10 seconds, but if a survivor changes their character/item in the last 10 seconds, the killer would get 15 additional seconds to unready/change loadout, or if several survivors change last second, I wouldn't mind if the killer would be allowed to switch the killer or default to a nurse slug build

Booping the snoot should also grant 500BP
-
I got one with pig, even recieved the 500BP for crown unlocked at the end of the match, but it's not showing up
edit: nevermind, I see it's only for non licensed characters

Needless to say, a Bubba would chainsaw through the borrowed time and the savior. But yes, IF something like this was to be considered, it would need to be something like much slower hook progression AND it needs to deactivate if there are survivors within the terror radius range (so 32m, regardless of the actual terror radius). You can't punish a killer for "camping" if another survivor is looping around the hook tiles or sneaking behind the killer or leaving scratch marks close to the hook.

It's difficult though because the game is getting balanced for SWF. What about situations when you are the solo with three friends? Or two solos and two friends? Two lobbies of two separate SWFs etc. There would need to be tiers of buffs that would go down depending on how many people were playing together. This is the downside of balancing with SWF you get a complete disparity in gameplay styles and experience. The simplest solution would be to allow optional voice chat to survivors similar to the voip apps SWF use. That comes with it's own problems. It would need to be heard only by survivors and crossmap otherwise it would be worthless. Give an option to turn it off if the menus. The devs have expressed in the past that this contradicts their vision of the game but I think it's the only thing that would give some kind of parity. Everything has its downsides.
I don't think killers need a buff against solo queue. Giving every killer BBQ aura for free would be absolutely ridiculous.
I was thinking that a 3man SWF would get the regular four perks and the solo who's with them would get the two additional information slots to compensate for the lack of information compared to the other three teammates
Two 2man SWF would get one additional info perk.
But yeah, I see how it's hard to balance with the difference between a sweat team and a chill team. Sometimes I completely dominate with barely a gen done. Sometimes a gen pops even before I can find the first survivor with whispers walking across the map. So I thought it would be advantageous to provide the tools to solos to be effective and equip the killers with means to deal with that.

Does anyone know if this is still an issue? I haven't seen it adressed in the patch notes.
-
That's a mediocre workaround. If I'm a stealthy piggy or Myers I want the greedy grab.
-
I wouldn't mind it working after both hooks as long as it deactivates once all generators are done.

Yes, I can confirm. I've posted a short clip in the previous thread

Yes, same here, the internet itself works fine for both download and upload
-
Happened on Steam as well. Seems like they are aware of the issue.
Trying to start a new game now states "Connection with host could not be established. Please try again."

Actually it would be nice if that was a general feature that decreases the chances to get sent to the same map in a row if there are no map offerings in play of course.
Yes, it feels like 50% of my killer games end up in the farm realm and its horrible for trying out new ones. It would be a good idea to take which realm each player played last and make the next match be neither of those and also favour realm offerings that would be a "new" realm unless there are multiple of course

To be honest, I didn't get rank reseted. But use the rank it to do the hard adept achievements.
I didn't notice it with killer, but I pipped right back to the rank I was at with survivor, thus the +63pip. It's not really an issue, just a "cosmetic" bug that was likely caused by the bot games
-
Can confirm. It looks like the rank is also "reset" although I did 63pip

I'm actually not sure if two days are enough. I think ideally it would need some time to ballance itself out and gauge the skills of survivors against certain killers, as someone who's good against Oni might struggle against e.g. Doctor or Nurse.
The killer games were mostly unbalanced where the game was usually lost to survivors after 2 minutes except for one game that had a strong team.
I think this kind of system is quite difficult as the deciding factor is not as much how well individual survivors can loop but if the team as a whole is organized and efficient with generators and altruism.
-
The game isn't taken hostage, just the one survivor as there are multiple ways of ending the game. You also can't get chase emblems if only the first survivor got chased. Two remaining survivors hiding in bushes would be taking it hostage or getting the killer stuck and not doing anything.
This wasn't really meant to be a discussion on the ethics of basement Bubbas.
Of course it's a bad play to loop the killer close to the hook, the unhooker should definitely be punished. But the unhooked person should be able to get a bit of distance with BT imo instead of getting instadowned again. It's not their fault they got hook farmed, so I'd say it would be nice to have a bit of invencibility to survive the second swing.

You should be getting enough distance to make to a window after the first one connects if playing correctly. The perk is already serving its purpose and being granted 12 seconds of unlimited hits is a terrible solution. Imagine the level of body blocking every match because you cannot go down.
Solution here is to not unhook when Bubba is right there and start popping gens. If Bubba wants to win the match, he has to leave the hook.
Not quite, vaulting a window will usually get you hit a second time. Yes, invincibility for the whole 12 seconds might be bad, but if it's like for the duration of the typical cooldown, not sure what it's called, the time the killer whipes the weapon after a hit. Basically just enough to block the second swing.
As a solo there is no way of knowing if Bubba is still there or not or maybe waiting just out of range of Kindred. I don't think not unhooking against a Bubba is a good play in general. I was once left dying in the basement while the Bubba was chasing someone on the other side of the map, but the other two assumed he was camping.
-
Yeah, I agree, it would also show if the killer is still in chat
-
It's obvious if you're on coms or have bond/kindred, but as a solo you don't know he's there.
I probably shouldn't have mentioned the basement Bubba as it's not exclusively limited to that situation.
He might not even be camping but still arrive shortly after the unhook and instadown despite borrowed time.
-
Same with the basement issue, seems like it's not quite fixed with patch 4.7.2. The killer couldn't pick me up here with my arm partially in the wall.
It was on the Levy realm, I didn't check which map number
-
This happened to me now on the 144 map. I recorded it this time. The recording starts after if happened though. There was nothing I could do. The killer was able to pick me up at the end. I don't know if they couldn't or didn't try before that.

It might be a general collision issue when a survivor slghtly clips with a thin wall. I was watching Tru3 and saw the same thing happen, same map, or at least same realm, but different spot. But the survivor fell similarly partially into the frame which resulted in the killer being unable to pick the survivor up.
