Were you playing Freddy by any chance? He's absolute hell on the new reworked maps as both sides if they're asleep can't see a darn thing.
Otherwise i'd just use a filter to be more easy on your easy.
I just vamped my brightness and contrast all the way up, it be that way sometimes.

I mean it's a brightness problem...

And you know nurse is STILL the strongest killer in the game, right?
You realize it's insanely difficult to land every blink and if you miss one you're cucked for four seconds right?

I never really understood the whole 'Gen rush' arguments. I mean, survivors are just doing their job. And before someone calls me a survivor main, because it ALWAYS happens for having an opinion, you could say the exact same for killers. Are they 'kill rushing' if they down everyone fast? No, because it's their objective. We can't be at 4 places at once, so gens are going to get done regardless. It just depends on how you play. I notice when I play survivor you'll see the killer just focus soley on one survivor for far too long, then when 2-3 gens are gone before they've even hooked, they complain. I've done it myself in matches as killer, but I've learned from that mistake. If you focus far too much on a single chase, of course gens are being done because what's stopping them? But, let's face it. People will always find some way to complain over things in this game for both sides. There's no pleasing everyone unfortunatly.
You can be if you're a survivor. If a gen is around a strong tile you're asking for a 20s chase for a single hit , if there's 3 others or even 2 then 1 working a gen you've got a minute to sort that out. They can just camp the next gen or a far away one.
-
Unhooks a survivor in front of me then expects me not to down them and rehook them. I'll gladly take a two second ds stun and get them 10 seconds later
-
I'd master nurse while you're in yellow ranks. Landing a good blink hit is the most satisfying thing in the world

Bringing a mori is pretty pathetic too. It's like saying I dont want any challenge this match....
See how that logic works.
Same as bringing a purple toolbox or keys

You guys dodging lobbies for 2 useless toolboxes? Lmao
I feel that way too unless it's the weekend then the inevitable white wards come up and I know exactly what I'm in for. Nonetheless depips happen, i just bounce back during the week days
-
@Mtom912 said:
No because not just killers, survivors are gonna have longer queues, just cause people are so scared of the big bad swfs who spend half the game talking about what they're eating for dinner :(
Also rather not have to wait even longer searching as killer for only swfs, because i'd rather have a challenge, instead of a bunch of solos leaving each other on first hook to struggle/die, and getting maybe 14k bloodpoints
On weekends it's always tryhard swfs.

Nor was it fair for the whole team to be moried on their first down.
Due to it being the weekend i've been getting purple toolboxes with white wards on the freddy and myers maps; I can't even use red add ons with dark ward due to their perks. Mori won't earn me back the depips or bloodpoints but itll make me happy knowing they're mad. Unlike toolboxes whichll pip you. I mori too many too son I can't even gurantee a safety pip.
-
First time playing him post update and I was like wait I can't use my power? No other killer has their power disabled for two minutes.
-
Silicone valley reference or unintentional coincidence?

YEP
-
good on you survs. but yeah nerf everyone.
-
-
But if you make it rarer then it's less of a problem. Just increase the cost and rarity.

There are a lot off perks to help find stealthy survivors while in the mean time you have hooked or maybe killed some off the other survivors, if they are being to stealth to avoid being hooked i have found a lot of times there not doing gens because they are trying to avoid the killer.
What would you prefer the way moris are now and having killers mori you within the first couple min or being able to play the game knowing the killer has to hook all 4 people before they can start to mori people?
I'd prefer them to just increase rarity in the web

I mean, if I can get out of games with mori so can you.
I've even brought moris as I contingency plan when I see 2 or more toolboxes and haven't used it.
-
@oxygen said:
If moris get changed like that they should double down on the idea of using them for fun and to have a "flashier" finish for a survivor than a hook, substantial BP bonuses and such. They've said they're working on moris (and keys) and while it's possible they change them to be on death hook, I honestly find it more likely they'll do the "hook all survivors once" change or something entirely different that's more like a rework than a change.
Wouldn't a stealthy survivor completely void it if you can't find them? I'd agree to that if they made the hatch aura visible to the killer upon its spawn to balance keys as well as well as add a five or ten second delay to open it with a key.

The only change moris need is that you need to hook all 4 survivors before you can use it, it stops killers using a mori after first hook like they do now because the other 3 need to be hooked so all they can do is re hook that survivor again, if they can't hook each survivor once then they cant use a mori. The other 2 area fine just make the green on the same you have to hook all 4 survivors and the yellow one is fine as it is.
Wouldn't a blendette that taps gens make this invalid

Yeah, but you started a thread about Moris. So why are Keys a topic? Like I said - whataboutism.
Besides that, Moris are way stronger and way more common.
In the very first comment I thought I made clear the focus was on the balance.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
So you are defending Moris by using whataboutism? Noice.
Moris need to be nerfed. If anyone says otherwise, they are insanely biased.
You'd have to nerf keys at the same time is what I'm saying.

I...just....said it.

Since when Moris = equal Keys?
The whole point of both was an objective bypass.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Bro why would you complain about this?
It's by far the most FAIR way to use a mori.
They never said they're gonna bring this change, it's the killer's choice.
They said its low on the priority list but is being looked at
-
Two survivors being able to leave with three gens left doesn't seem very fair. Since we're talking fair.
-
Slowly bow to it. Murder one.
-
There's generator perks in place
-
So the killer has an easier time.
-
Thank you guys! I'd kill for a steampunk slinger, I figured this is as close as I'll get though

Does the oblivious status not show up on your screen while you're affected by it though? It very well could have been oblivious I just thought undetectable as I didnt see indication of oblivious.
honestly im not sure as i'm solely a killer. it's definitely worth a google though

In that clip he had no red stain either by the look of it, he likely had some perk that gave him undetectable like firebrand suggested
hex retribution gives oblivious status

If the EAC banned you there's nothing the team can do, that's why even though BHVR doesn't ban for custom perks they say if the EAC catches you there's nothing they can do to help so use at your own risk
I don't have custom perk icons or anything like that, straight vanilla (on pc)
-
Also it caused me to depip so that's cool. I think all killers know it can be difficult to pip so that's an added bonus.

It takes time to balance in a asymmetrical game without breaking it. As the carpenters say: measure twice cut once.

Yo, Blocking pallets as killer is completely legit. While I can't speak for the devs I feel certain its inclusion in the game is intentional. Don't get greedy with pallets, or a good killer will punish you.
A good counter example is that the Devs didn't want Myers to body block people into a corner and stalk them, so Myers has no hitbox while he's stalking. You can just run straight through him. Seems like the devs actually think about this stuff, eh?
Can you stalk in the middle of a pallet and not get stunned by it? Genuinely curious.

Mad grit helps. If you land a hit it stops wiggle timer and if you don’t you’ll maybe scare off the surv(s) blocking you
Doesn't help when it's that little run to the gates scenario and i'm not holding a survivor.

If multiple survivors are alive at the endgame it's pretty much a lost cause anyway for the killer unless they resort to camping whoever they currently have caught, it shouldn't make it that far into the game as a killer or it's a loss to me or that's how I see it but then again I'm a nurse main so if all the gens get done and multiple people are still alive then it's me who played incorrectly and anything from there on was self inflicted by not ending it sooner
you can hook multiple people multiple times at that point, just because the game is progressing at the same rate for both sides doesn't make it a lost cause. I guess if you don't 4k every match is a loss in your eyes?
-
If ooo is used within a 16 meter radius of other survivors their auras are revealed as well.
-
@The_Krapper said:

No way man , if you gave the killer the ability to re-hook you they could just three hook you right when they caught you the first time, there are plenty of things that counter body blocking the most effective combo to combat it probably being agitation, iron grasp, and mad grit
All of these work wonderfully, but not in an endgame scenario where you're trying to down an already injured survivor and being blocked by a healthy one.
