I play a slow killer (deathslinger) so after i go back to gens when hooking it takes a while to get where i need to, he's a chase orientated killer so I have to win chases quickly while still taking long enough to get points, then stroll my way to a hook, then stroll my way to the gen closest, which by then the survivor is usually unhooked so i just kick the gen and go back to follow scratch marks.

I mean what else did you do to pressure the survivors and earn those kills?
IMO pipping is pretty straight forward and easy (and I play Plague as one of my mains btw).
Perform well against good survivors, earn a pip. Don’t perform well despite a kill here and there, don’t pip.
The emblems DO tell you what you need to be doing to earn bronze, silver, gold, and iridescent, and highlight WHY you maybe didn’t get the gold or iridescent you were expecting.
I'm sorry if I didn't have the luxury of enough time to hook all 4 3 times, it rarely works out that way.
-
except that doesn't mean you have the playtime or even perks suited to go against red ranks
-
i hooked one 3 times, not my fault they gen rushed, the match was literally about 4 minutes and i couldnt even use the chainsaw to close the distance between gens. i hooked everyone once then they started trying to be funny dropping hooks in front of me while i was carrying someone, they literally defined the way the game was going to be played.
-
The emblem system should just be removed, with the amount of disproportion to the ranking system that exists ie; going against people 2 - 3 rank sets lower then you there should just be a elo factor or something like that,
-
the game prior i was deathslinger and 4kd, no pip.
-
sure
-
Ok, welp give me more counterplay to gens and looping?
-
So the spear mechanic does nothing to stop teabagging and now people are crying for deathslinger nerfs.
-
With a 3k you're not guranteed a pip.
-
Survivors speared at exit gates can still leave the match and escape, survivors speared during jump still escape. I wouldn't care except i killed 3 and literally did not pip with 1 gen left. I have to break off chases yet I have to chase to pip, it's an oxymoron.
-
Also a nice fix that would be just great: If a survivor is camping at the exit gates just by the border and you hit them, they are pushed out and your spear is disconnected, the spear should take priority over the gate.
-
3 Survivors0.8 c/s | 80 %~33.33 seconds
With how common swf is this is often a thing, you'll be baited by one survivor doing a gen, break off the chase after he's a little away if you don't get a hit and once you go back to kick it another gen pops.
-
It's very rare that i'll have a cheeky survivor drop a hook infront of me, but i'm refering to gens.
-
Are you including add ons in that opinion?
-
just lower your dpi

Depends on the rank. I haven't been a low rank in a very long time, but at higher ranks totally. Absolutely. It gets quite hard to pip at red ranks actually. If I am not optimizing my time at red ranks I am going to certainly get swomped and inevitably depip.
To be more technical though, killers lose devout points if they are within 32 meters of hooked survivors. The longer they are in that range, the worse penalty.
I'm familiar, i'm just tired of depipping, I made it to rank 10 and now i'm just getting steamrolled, if i'm going to depip might as well have a laugh.
-
fair, honestly I just 3k'd with nurse with all the gens done and safety pipped, might just be at the rank I deserve to be at. 10
-
I'm a new killer, so yeah. Sorry if you choke your chicken to the game everyday but i'm still getting the hang of things.

What do many of you seem to miss is that even an ideal 4k match will only have 2, 1, or no generators left to pop. It's not about pressuring everything all the time, it's about building incremental pressure. If you can have 3-4 hook actions done by the time you're at 2 gens left, you're doing all right.
So essentially you have to kill the survivors after they've already gotten their pips
-
ah well, they got me for twenty bucks, was worth a shot.
-
Just hit them all! Ok they're running away from this gen, i'll slap him once. Oh a gen popped over there let me go check it out, oh let me follow these scratchmark- oh another gen popped ok let me see, oh wow I've got him, slap. Oh he's running to this really strong tile and teabagging i better leave him alone, let me kick this genny and head back to patrol, oh another gen popped, these guys sure are flyin', oh ok i should try to slug one to slow things down, oh they're hiding in a locker lemme just grab e-, oh apparently im ######### terrified of survivors hiding in lockers now despite always searching in lockers for survivors.
yeah I've only got 200 hours, but frankly the counters to a good group with good comms don't exist and never will.
-
It's obvious not to over commit to chases, but how the ######### are you about to say just max all your points when you need to commit to chases. God forbid survivors spread out so when you try to stop progress on one gen two pop off on the other side of the map. How the hell do you counter that besides a teleporting killer?
-
Very true. But nope, you literally have to farm to pip if you get gen rushed.
-
I just don't see how you can max out your chase points without leaving gens to be done as most competent survivors will lead you away from the gen so others can do it. Also you can hook everyone once but still depip?
-
Based on scientist observations and estimations. So in the words of the Dude "That's just like your opinion man"

They really haven't always existed, though. Read some more advanced biology textbooks.
I read an article, never saw them mentioning it never existing.
-
Orion, that's why I was confused, and it was a reach when I thought you meant to say Y. XY AND XX have both existed since the dawn of existence. Whoever thought it was abnormal must be someone like....someone who doesn't know which chromosome is which.

Like the X chromosome once was, yes.
wat

You just said normal, natural, relationships are forced down your throat. They're not. That's just nature being nature.

Nobody said they're oppressed, we're saying heterosexual relationships are shoved down everyone's throats all the time and nobody thinks that's "political" or "shouldn't be included". Y'know, the same arguments given about LGBT relationships.
PS: Being LGBT might not be the norm, but it's also nature.
If you feel like you're oppressed by strangers maybe you're playing victim so you feel justified in your beliefs?
-
It's a natural anomaly.
-
I feel like people often forget being heterosexual isn't a form of "sexuality" it's nature...being normal. Saying you're oppressed by viewing normal relationships between male and female just doesn't make sense.
-
whatever floats your boat
-
you're right, it was factual, however the very last line you wrote was opinion, not fact.

What does the name even have to do with this?
yeah drag queens are men dressing up as women. But over the top. They don’t want to be seen as women. They want to be seen as drag queens. They are not trying to look natural or that no one notices they are not really women.
I do agree with the last paragraph.
-
why are they called drag queens then...
-
What?

And you think all gay men do that?
Hell no I don't think all gay men do that, blanket statements outside of satire shouldn't be held to any value.

You know while attempting to hurl insults you just have justification for why a drag queen belongs in a horror game lol. Face your fears
People find clowns scary. Are you really going to pretend like wearing makeup, wigs, and costumes can't be viewed as scary?
-
Oh well.
-
They're people that pick dark characters to blend in with the environment easier. Of course people are going to prefer dark players over light players. It's an easy exploit.
-
you have to break off chases that lead you away from gens, if they have a key though youre screwed.
-
I must've missed the part where they said he didn't.
-
besides we already have a drag queen; clown.
-
you're really reaching lmao. whatever you say
-
yeeeep.
-
it's not gay! don't you and the homies enjoy a ice cold one then throw on 7 inch stillettos while doing eachother's makeup??
-
Literally read every comment, good luck convincing people drag is a non-trans or sexuality neutral activity.
-
I mean with all the other issues at hand such as perk reworks, character rebalancing, and things like that if they prioritize something to pander to a specific community I doubt killers will appreciate it.
