To crush the spirit of my enemies.

You guys seem to misunderstand the purpose of this post, its to call out survivors who say all survivor perks except the common ones are bad. It is also to give survivors examples of all these perks and potential perk builds, instead of running the same perks every game as survivor. It doesnt have to be the same stealth claudette builds or the same chase second chance builds every game. Maybe those builds are better but there are more builds to use
I don't agree with all your inclusions. But there are a lot of solid perks that people don't use. Detective's Hunch is extremely underrated. Alert is also a solid choice. Botany, Inner Strength, and Leader are all great as well.

When I get to stare the killer down and chuck a pebble at them.

Yup it sounds great, the whole 99ing gate thing just destroys the point of EGC, and hence also destroys blood warden. I'm still not sure why it wasn't removed when even fog whisperers have suggested the same idea you had.
But I guess their fog whisperers are marketting tools rather than a platform for us to reach out to them.
In the words of Puppers "the devs don't listen to me".
-
At a guess I would think for the sake of consistency. I believe they wanted things to work consistently across the board to be less confusing for newer/casual players. Which is not to say it is a good reason. But I believe it is the reason.

This is probably the worst bait thread I've seen. And that is saying something.

Well if you have the sensitivity turned to max then all you need to do is push the thumbstick to the left or right all the way. Unlike a mouse you cannot mess this up. Just push till it pushes no more ^.^
The REAL question should be "Hey console players, how do you fella's actually see ######### when the FPS is so damn blurry!?"
I don't have my sensitivity maxed. I'll have to try that and see what kind of results that yields. And at times the fps struggle is real.

if someone says "it's common decency not to run NOED" i'm just gonna respond with "it's common decency not to run every second chance perk under the sun, and yet, look at your build"
You'd be pretty embarrassed if you tried that with a build I'm running.
As for the op. While I don't think Noed is unfair or op. Maybe you could actually articulate why. Rather then telling them sucks to be you.
-
Oh Tofu has some looping guides on his YouTube channel that might be helpful. If you can ever catch a Puppers stream he's always pretty nice about answering questions. His stream is big enough he might not see it. But honestly just watching him play you'll pickup on things.

I used to main Billy on ps4, you can actually kinda flick with a controller, as soon as he starts moving turn left or right with right stick, after that, it all comes with practice, he is fun to use so you will learn fast.
I can't really give tips considering I don't know what issues you have with him, other thing you can do is get used to 100% sensitivity
It Just seems like most really good Billy's can make amazing turns. Not even at the beginning of the sprint. I was getting a bit better with my last game. So maybe it'll improve with practice. I'm just not really sure how they do it.
-
You want me to give the survivor who was an ######### hatch? Nah, I'm good. I don't have a problem in the world giving hatch. But if you act like scum, you die. When I'm a survivor I don't tbag or flashlight click. Or do anything to try to be a jerk to the killer. I expect the same in return when I play killer. If you act like a little bastard towards me then you receive no mercy.

I think this just comes to a disagreement on the definition of bias then.
I appreciate that you think I'm generally fair though.
Lol fair enough. We aren't really getting anywhere anyway.

@Blueberry said:

If you view my opinions as generally fair then that already doesn't make them bias by definition. Bias by definition would include an "unfair" treatment.
"But once people come to conclusions about something, they rarely have their minds changed."
If I was presented with data and evidence to suggest otherwise I would gladly change my opinion.
"But will probably always see things with a killer slant."
From a killer slant implies unfair preference to one side, of which I do not think I have. Killer slant the way you are saying it would mean that irregardless of data, evidence or anything I would give preferential treatment to one side which is not the case.
Whatever the data, evidence and experience shows needs buffs or nerfs is what I want, I could care less which side it is. All I care about is objective information. I do not view that stance as bias or as a killer slant. It just so happens that in this one case, killers need some help.
I also happen to think a lot of survivor perks need buffs. That isn't because of a bias, it's because there are a lot of survivor perks that are objectively weak.
I didn't say it was a massive bias. Usually you land on the killer side of things. That's why I say I feel you have a bias. But you never present absolutely outlandish things. Which is why I say you are generally fair.

If you work on a gen for more than 5 seconds after unhook it deactivates. Simple.

Playing both sides and analyzing the games balance to determine that one side is skewed in the balance so you want to better balance the game does not make you biased. By that reasoning no matter how much experience, data, information or anything you collected, if you think one side needs a buff and the other does not you are biased. That would not be accurate. "Unfair" is one of the key words in having an opinion that is biased, of which is not the case in my scenario.
"But your views are definitely seen from a killer colored lens."
If I play both sides equally at max rank with thousands of hours, how are my viewpoints through killer colored lens? I seek to have the game balanced for both sides and having played both sides for many hours I have determined my opinions to fixing the issues for both sides through that experience.
I don't think that what you're referring to is using the word bias correctly.
Playing both sides does not prevent a person from forming a bias. As I said before, I feel your views are generally fair. But once people come to conclusions about something, they rarely have their minds changed. From what I've noticed you're more open to having your mind changed. But will probably always see things with a killer slant.

Nope, very rarely are killers toxic in my games. Most people just think a lot of things are toxic that aren't like slugging, or say the killers camping/tunneling when they're not.
I don't think you understand what the word bias means. Bias would be if I only played one side so I had a skewed perspective towards one side. I have played both sides at rank 1 for thousands of hours.
"And you can clearly see he had [BAD WORD] addons on the flashlight, and didn't even USE IT"
I think you are misconstruing what I am saying. I am not saying he was toxic. All I said was that we saw none of the rest of the match and that they could have been toxic towards him, we have no idea. That is a true statement. I also never said his behavior was fine, I said it was indeed toxic.
You can have a bias while still playing both sides. In my observations of your posts I would say you definitely have a killer bias. Or at least a killer leaning to your views. Which is not to say your positions are unfair. I actually feel they're usually pretty reasonable. But your views are definitely seen from a killer colored lens.
Not that I'm really any better about it. I play both sides. But I certainly see things more from a survivors view point. As much as I try my own bias will always creep in.
-
How would you get survivors near the ranking of the killer being used without locking them? Would you dump people out of the lobby if they switch killers? If you don't lock them what's to keep them from readying up with a killer they never use. Then switching to their best killer. Locking the killer choice might not be the most enjoyable option. But nobody has offered a better one yet.

It can be, but his mask practically glows with that outfit too, so idk lol. I mean I guess if they've got the devil mask I can see your point to an extent.
I just don't like the idea of doing all this work concealing yourself and ensuring survivors can't see you, stalking them, and then they get a notification saying "bad man staring at you". It seems counter to the entire mechanic. That's the entire reason the hit+run build developed imo. Why bother doing all that work (when you could be stabbing them instead) and ruin the surprise factor?
But I don't know how I'd fix it either. As I said before, I don't know if removing that notification would be the best option alone, since it would really only punish less skilled survivors. Idk.
Oh I'm not saying there needs to be a warning. That would be ridiculous. I'm saying as much as Ghostface can blend it's understandable not being able to spot him.
-
Honestly just play. I ran Spine Chill for like 6 months. I was very used to having it. After a while you get used to not having it again.
-
I absolutely loved this thread. It was so much fun. As for the actual idea, I'd say no. I would like outfits to at least make some sense. That said if they did swimwear I think they could make that work.
-
Mori's aren't toxic. They can be unfun depending on how they are used. But a mori itself isn't toxic.

First of all enough is enough, I tried to be calm about it but guys, this was not intended to start an argument, an attack on a player base, or whatever you think it is, I just wanted to talk about why I would think it would be interesting to have this character in the game, SO I ask kindly can you please not fight over a opinion I have when I'm okay with negativity , and secondly don't fight over which movies are childish and which ones are not, I've been trying to avoid toxicity, and show maturity with in the fnaf community, but right now its starting to fade, so please do me a favor and stop it now please and thank you.
Uhh I wasn't fighting with anyone. I was asking them a legitimate question.

Actually the worst experience is having to see either a Nea or Claudette in your lobby.
You leave my Claudette alone.
Honestly though, solo can be miserable. I'm weird I guess. I go to play killer when solo has gotten on my nerves. That's why I never understand why killers ######### so much. Even if you get a 4 man death squad you still can end up with good points.

The not alerting crows part of the perk is deeply underrated. Alot of good killers use crows to narrow down survivor locations.

As for the op, why not? Spirit and Oni are related. A pair of related survivors could be interesting.

I mean... that's true assuming the survivors are braindead and incapable. There absolutely is counterplay (to both this and NOED, but that's a different conversation entirely lol).
I can only imagine most survivors, knowing they're up against Ghostface, would keep their heads on a swivel instead of waiting for an alert. If anything I think it'd be more exciting because they would actually have to keep watch instead of potentially relying on the game to do it for them.
Then again, considering Ghostface could be playing hit + run anyways, they should already be doing this... so little would change lol.
To be fair, Ghostface can be hard to spot at times. Especially if they are running the classic scream outfit.

The real question is, why does GF get an alert that a survivor is exposing him? Survivors have no idea they are being stalked till it's to late. So why does GF get that knowledge?
You want to be warned that a killer, who's entire power is stalking, is stalking you? You're kidding right? Would you like an aura to show when Trapper sets a trap as well?
-
@DrDeepwound said:
Can anyone even provide a valid reason for him to not start out with ALL his traps?
All his traps could become extremely oppressive with basement Trapper. That said I feel like the suggestion I've seen of starting with 3 at base would be a great buff.

I have nothing to do with balance changes or perk changes. And remember, they never take suggestions from the General Discussion on these forums, all suggestions are taken into consideration on their Suggestions Page.

Okay, I'll give you a response.
Survivors don't need changes because holding M1 is already easy for them to do.
Happy?
So changing some perks to make them viable, or at least interesting enough to be playable is something survivors don't need? Cool. Glad you can determine what all survivors need for us.

DS is a thing that exists. Killers always anticipate it, unless there's no obsession. Then it would just straight up be a bad play not to hook them again.
I have it happen regardless of if there's an obsession.

You know, if you get tunneled that often, it's probably something you're doing. If it's anything like how you behave here, I don't blame killers for tunneling you.
In all honestly - most times when a killer goes after a survivor that was just unhooked, it's because they were unhooked in the killers face, and they usually, 90% of the time, just slug them, in order to cuck the unhooker of their altruism as a punishment for farming. Not sure what your backwards definition of tunneling is, but this isn't tunneling.
I disagree with you that 90% of the time killers are trying to slug them off an unsafe unhook to punish the other guys altruism. The vast majority of the time it happens to me they immediately rehook me. Or chase the other guy enough to get a hit or down. And then immediately rehook me.
That said, what you described is exactly what I do. For the exact reason you mentioned.

Both are equivalents to each other, it just depends on your playstyle! ๐
I have to disagree. Spine Chill is better in my opinion. But yeah, it depends on your play style .

Freddy it doesnt really matter if 2 survivors are on a gen for me since i can just teleport to the gen when its at 70% especially with pgtw. But yeah maybe.
I was thinking Discordance for early game interruption. Tinkerer to keep the pressure mid and late game.
-
Honestly their purposes are completely different. If you're wanting solid information throughout the match I'd say use both.

The aura reading off of disturbing crows is a really interesting addition. It would need a cool down though. Say 20 seconds or so.
