On ps4 he is the only killer I am facing since he got added. Maybe it is because he 4k's in 99.9 % of the games I had.
I wasn't able throwing it out when getting chased, or just seeing the face. Really annyoing was the amount of times that i got the points for throwing him out but still getting exposed the same second.
-
I only give a gg if it was a fair game: No one tbagged, no one got followed after getting unhooked, no one camped/proxycamped.
I don't have to write the killer often on ps4 but if i'm always super happy and they usually get a "Gg Thx for fairplay <3" from me no matter if i died or not. I apreciate being treated with respect and like a human being. Sportsmanship and fairness/fairplay are so wonderful.
I get a nice lil reminder that there are good people out there and not only egoistic ones that only care about themselves and their own fun.
Unfortunately that is rare on ps4 in all ranks.
So here again: I want to thank you wonderful, respectful people out there! I'm glad you all are here and play this game, showing everyone that humanity does exist. Stay and don't change 💜
I am finding that survivors only give out a gg when you give them hatch or they escape. -
I personally don't tunnel as killer. I feel like we are all in the game to relax and have fun.
We are all human beings that deserve to be treated with respect and this implies fairplay. I feel it's okay when s.o tbagged, cause i consider it a personal disrespect, although i usually just dc if i get tbagged.
It did happen to me that I tunneled without realizing but i usually leave the survibor on the ground then and try to find the hiding antimate instead.
Playing the killer role to me is being able to reward or punish social or antisocial/egoistic behavior.
I'm not a killer main though but i'm trying to play both equally often. No one is obviously able to be really fair if u are one sided. Acting unfair equals being disrespectful towards others in my opinion.
I feel like winning when i hooked all 4 survivor to struggle and I usually let 1 or 2 go (depending on their IQ and the amount of gens done).
I wanna say to everyone: Let's play fair, let's have respect and treat each other the same way we'd like to be treated, let's have a fun time together- sometimes winning sometimes not.

You're one of those, 'gen rushing doesn't exist' people? Well then by your logic, what else is there the for the killer to do? You're supposed to chase the survivor and sacrifice them on the hook. So camping and tunneling doesn't exist either right? ^_^
You are supposed to stop survivors doing gens. So when (proxy) camping and tunneling you are the one forcing survivors to gen rush.
-
I point at the killer when they are doing s.th wrong like tunnel the unhooked although s.o else was right there. For me it's saying 'look at you'. But I think it's situational.
Definitely not a tbagg. (That doesn't make sense cause nobody needs the ability to tbagg and point if thr meaning is the same)
-
On ps4 tunneling is kind of the playstyle. It's rare for killer not to tunnel sadly. It's such an egoistic move and so boring, but most killers in purple and red ranks tend to do it lately.
-
The new system is rough, not fair and annoying. I'm on ps4 in purple and green ranks mostly depending on how many times I dc within some hours. The higher the longer I wait for a lobby (solo). With friends even longer. There is not enough points for every survivor to rank up. There is barely enough for 2 IF the killer is playing good AND fair.
Most killers I encounter now just proxycamp and tunnel the first they find (even if the whole team tries to distract and takes hits) this person is definately gonna derank that game. So it's up to the killer in this situation.
If you get bad teammates that just hide and do nothing you won't be able to get any points. With the new system ranking up isn't s.th that got much to do with how good you play it's s.th based on luck and how good the ppl are the you are playing with.
For example: I got chased by the killer from the start, ran him around for 1 gen (that took really long) he lost me again. I found a gen expecting there to be ruin cause it took them so long but no. I started that gen, got it to like 80 % when the killer found me again (he didn't find or chase anyone else) he kicked my gen and the chase started again. When I got around the map nearly no gen was started, by the time he got me, no other gen got done. I saw 2 of the others crouching somewhere with UE doing nothing only 1 person was on a gen. I did get rescued and decided to play safer. I made my way back to the gen I started it was back to zero. And the other gens weren't touched.
I had chase points full by then. But then he found s.o else that went down pretty fast, s.o was rushing for the unhook got caught and hooked as well. With 2 ppl on the hook I decided to at least do the second gen so s.o could get the hatch. But the first got to struggle and no one got unhooked so I decided to take them down even if the gen was nearly done. When I went for the save (both still on the hook) the first was in struggle and the second nearly. I unhooked the second before struggle but the killer came back so I took a hit unhooked the other. I got chased and lost him again. I didn't heal cause I wanted to get the gen done first. Went back to my gen got it done and was in another chase that was short. I got hooked but never unhooked again. The killer found the two that were hook before and the one that never got hooked was sitting on the hatch.
I'm not sure if it was a blackpip or a depip could be both from what I experienced.

Let me tell you a story of what happened today:
I wanted to play Freddy.
The game started off as normal. I found an Ash. I hit him once, but three other survivors were nearby and I spread the damage so to speak, against all of them. I managed to down one survivor and hook them.
Said Ash during this time woke himself up and healed himself once. Then saved the survivor in front of my face. I put the other survivor to sleep, but I try not to tunnel, so I chased the Ash.
I hit the Ash once. He uses an insta heal. I hit him again. He's injured. I hit him again, he gets off MoM (by the way, MoM is bugged and will visually remove the asleep visuals from Freddy, so you can 't tell if a survivor is asleep or awake). Finally, after a 3 minute chase and 4 hits, I downed him, and place him on a hook.
He uses deliverance immediately in front of my face.
So I put him back to sleep and 7 seconds of immunity again, I try to chase him down again. After a 30 second loop spree or so, I down him again. I go to pick him up.
Nah, I'm "tunneling" now because he unhooked himself infront of my face. Bad, bad killer! DS in the face.
Oh, and because it's a SWF, they decide to pop the final two generators then and there, so he gets adrenaline, heals another health state, gets put back awake, and sprint bursts away while I'm stunned.
Because I hooked that one survivor at the start, I had to hit this man not one extra time, not two extra times, not three, or four, or five, but SIX extra times. Which I never got to do.
What a ######### load of fun that was. Really makes me want to continue playing the game. /s
Anyone who thinks that kind of situation is 'fun' for the killer or balanced is either gleefully ignorant, willfully arrogant or has got some serious cognitive dissonance going on.
That was just one guy. Imagine if three other people ran that kind of crap in a SWF.
Sounds like you stood nearby the hook at all times waiting for the save. Maybe have a look at the gens? Or how comes you didn't have a chase after hooking the first?
If the survivors know you won't really leave the hook the others will gen rush (what else expect them to do?) and 1 Person goes for the save. Even more if they are survive with friends.
-
Really you are doing that on purpose? Making others angry to get them banned?
The question you might wanna ask yourself is: why do I like to do s.th like that.
I a bit concerned that you got a lil problem there. Maybe let yourself get checked by a psychologist?
The thing is: a healthy (mental) person doesn't feel happy about hurting others on purpose / make others feel bad.
If you got a problem to deeply connect to other ppl in real life whatever makes you happy when you cause suffering in others might be based on the same problem.
Good luck to you

The new system is a vicious circle.
If the killer is camping and tunneling one survivor nobody is gonna get more then a black pip. Some might even depip.
If you get lots of bad killers and depip the one you are facing can't even catch anyone so you can't rank up.
This new system is even worse then the one before. Even in a good game with a good killer and good survivors it's not enough things to do so each survivor can pip.
-
Really what rank is it?
@laKUKA said:
I just only genrush (i make 3 gens)and unhooked someone 1 time...(never i see the killer or chase) and i got 1 pip! LOL
so easy right now.
-
The new system is broken. First of all: If the killer quits midgame 1-2 Pips are taken away not every time but way too often.
So a survivor ranks down because a killer is leaving.
Second it's entirely up to the killer if the survivor can get a pip:
If the killer can't catch anyone but tunnels the survivor no survivor will get a pip. If the killer is lucky and gets s.o but decides to camp and tunnel same thing.
If s.o gets chased a long time, then downed and three gens are done and is unhooked and by the time they healed, the next one gets done and the next hooked survivor unhooked. That survivor has no chance to do more then one gen or unhook s.o. means that survivor might get a black pip but could also loose a pip.
Now the ranking system is somehow based on luck. Luck means: being not the first one found, being able to get 2 gens done and to unhook 3 ppl and have a nice long chase too in order to pip.
If s.o is a second faster and gets the unhook and the killer goes back to the hook and your unluckily the one found or trying to be nice so the killer won't tunnel the unhooked you might get some chase points but after being hooked the game is probably nearly over with nothing left to do. So all that happened was a gen and a mindlong chase-> if the killer then tunnels or nobody unhooks and they leave you loose a pip.
And if s.o deranked a bit the killers are less experienced so you get killers that tunnel you through the game but you won't be able to get anything done. No one will be hooked, gens will be done, no one to heal and then the killer gets u with noed and you won a facecamp -.-
Even if I did 1,5 or 2 gens, 2 Totems, get 2 unhooks and have 2 short chases or a midlong in the end i only get to blackpip if dying on hook (cause no one comes to unhook anymore when the gates are open, even if it's Freddy)
I have to admit that if the goal was to change survivors into selfcentered egoists that only care to get themselves out: you "did a pretty good job so far"
-
@Wolf74 said:
Play a little longer and you will stop "respecting the 4%".
Survivor don't respect killer. So no need to respect them being lucky. It's not skill. Just whack 'em down. Unhooking themselves in your face is disrespectful by them, so strike them down.
? What the heck is wrong with u?
XD I mean really? Unhooking is disrespectful. Lol you got a serious problem...
-
You can't really say that the Person playing the Killer role is responsible if the survivor is getting farmed. BUT I feel like playing the Killer is the power role, means if they (proxycamp/patrolling) tunnel the unhooked survivor it is indeed their decision. I believe good killer-players doesn't need to do it, ppl with selfworth wouldn't do it and if s.o does it that one is as responsible as the farming Antimate. Sure I do understand if s.o was tbagging (aka being disrespectful) they kind of asked for it, but if not it's uncalled and unfair.
If i get tunneled I dc. Simple as that. Even with the new high punishment I refuse playing with ppl that only care about their fun. We all play for having fun. Nobody would like spending the whole game on the hook, therefore everyone just needs to treat others the same way they'd want to be. With respect and in a way everyone can have some fun and action in the game.
-
What I don't like about it is how survivors play now. Feels like it's 1 vs 5 now including a Killer and 3 enemy-survivors. In order to pip one needs to play egoistically that even when unsafe ppl go for the unhooks knowing the survivors probably won't go down before they're awarded with the safe rescue. Everyone is trying to get everything not leaving anything for anyone else, cause they can't if they want to pip. It makes me so sick and I'm feeling so disgusted I rather just black pip...
But the worst is: I loose two pips when the killer quits the game right after it started?! I mean are they serious? And if the Killer nearly looses and quits after the first minutes one looses 1 pip as well. Same if the Killer is bad and doesn't even get to hook anyone?!
Like I just had 6 games this evening where the Killer left earlygame and I lost 2 pips each time.

Can't speak for everyone, but if I got farmed or unhooked near the killer and he goes for me I'm out. I just refuse playing with ppl that play unfair. The killer is the power role and they get to decide which one they are following. One in power shouldn't reward an unsafe unhook by going for the unhooked letting the farmer get away without any punishment.
If I'm playing killer I usually find s.o else on a gen instead of staying close to the hook, but if s.o unhooks seconds after I hook s.o they can be sure about not escaping the game.
As a survivor I don't care about the bp I might loose by leaving the game. It's a statement for me. Bp aren't as important as integrity.
Honestly I'll down the person so that the person loses their points, emblem, etc. and then leave that person for someone to get them up, but you shouldn't DC because you were farmed. The only person you're hurting in that situation is you. The person farming doesn't care if the team works, they just want points. And the killer gets points for you DCing. If you find yourself being the first one downed and tunneled off hook often, I would advise taking in perks to help you avoid the killer so that you can gain points.
Well what U describe isn't tunneling if u let them get that person up. It's not quite different and I'd still stay in the game. But usually (if I'm the unlucky getting farmed) I do try to get away from the hook so even if the killer tunnels the farmer probably get their safe hook rescue points even though there is no real chance Depending on map and hook it's more or less difficult to get to a decent place loop and hopefully loose the killer. With those antimates it's likely that most of the safe paletts are gone already. If I got farmed once and the farmer got his points for the unhook I'm not going to let that happen again. It's not like it's happening every game nor is it ,of those games where farming happens, often me, but I hate it. I hate that ppl do it, and it doesn't matter if it's me or another survivor. That egoism disgusts me as a human being. There are things like Fairplay and Sportmanship and Fairness that ppl should stick to if they are 'good', fair and respectful ppl.As I said I don't mind losing a pip every now and then. I do get enough bps usually so I don't really care about them neighter. What I care about is Fairplay and human beings that - even if it's only a game - behave respectful towards each other. It's not difficult: Treat others just the same way you want to be treated. -

Well, i feel i become more toxic to my fellow survivors now, because of the things i experience.
They unhook you in front of the killer, then bodyblock you to get safely away themself.
They are in a chase with the killer, see you hiding/healing up, and run past you several times, until the killer finally notice you and takes you down.
You are near the hook and want to do a safe unhook, but they rush in, triggering the hags traps just so they get the unhooking points.
Against a trapper, one got downed next to the hex-totem, and while i wanted to heal her, i got caught in the bear trap she concealed with her body. I think she did it on purpose, because she thought noone could get the hextotem without healing her.
And yes, after things like that, i sometimes give up on the hook. But latlely i started to join them. I try to get the unhook for myself, and dont care about their saftey anymore (well, thats not entirely true, if the killer is too close i still shield them with my body, and try to lure the killer away).
But since i use bound in every setup, i can easily find a distraction for the killer chasing me. They do it to my, why should i not?
At least, now i get a decent amount of bloodpoints each game, even if the team often looses.Doing the same wrong things is foolish and imature... .They show awful egoistic behavior why would you want to do and be the same?Sure there are these antimates, but the more join in that behavior the worse the game gets.I'm just leaving the game as I refuse to play with ppl like that. They don't deserve having fun and getting unhook points. But sometimes if I got sandbagged by someone and I'm in struggle I just let them rush up to the hook and let go right before they can unhook (if it's the antimate). But I wouldn't change behaving like them right from the start. -

Are these comments defending DS serious? I can't even tell.
Killers already have a hell of a time trying to stop 4 SWFs doing gen rush. That means every down is CRITICAL to getting 3 kills, since it's nearly impossible to get all 4 in high rank without a bit of luck.
To be blunt, survivors should not be given a second chance, DS is rarely anything but the highest rank when used, it allows survivors to then continue looping which makes the chase draw out even longer, games last like 5-7 minutes at best in high rank.
How would survivor's react if the killer had a perk that meant when they break free from a grasp, the Killer has a skill check to instantly down them again? They'd cry about it.
Also, blood warden and NOED is trash. NOED can be taken apart and it's a rookie killer perk at best. Blood warden is laughable, all the time's I have used blood warden, I might have managed to hook one survivor out of all the games I tried, it's trash, fact.
I'm playing much more survivor and I'd be ok with a Perk for killers to hit an equally difficult skillcheck if the survivor wiggled free to instantly get them again once in game XDI bet no killer would ever use that perk over bbq and noed. It's not likely to ever wiggle off with the laughable amount of hooks anyway. Even with one hook gone and 2 ppl hanging there was no chance to even get near wiggling off. (And the killer was without any perks)Funny how you say noed and bloodwarden are kind of useless. At least for noed I wonder how weak it's percieved for real as I barely see a killer not running it. I'd say it at least 80% having that perk.Bloodwarden sure isn't used as much I barely ever encounter anyone having that perk.I don't like those perks btw and never use them not noed or bloodwarden as killer nor ds as survivor.Ds because I've seen that most ppl running it fail the skillcheck and even if not the chase after using it is nearly always short. Seems kind of useless to use a perkslot for an possible extra 10 sec of a chase.I only saw it two times that a survivor could (after a lil chase) avoid being hooked after using ds. As I said it's usually a chase of 10 more seconds or less, so I can't see the problem there.I'd like to add that ds users don't get to use it due to being dribbled to the hook as well. So it's not too many that even get a chance to use thrir perk at all.I'm playing on ps4 in the red ranks. But I can imagine it being an annyoing perk when good players rank down on purpose and bully rank 15 killers. -

Crizpen said:So, we've all heard the complaints about tunneling and camping. As a killer main, I don't camp unless the exit gates are open, and I try not to tunnel if it can be avoided.
While filming a video getting all the Adept killer achievements, I ran a Hag game, which I've included below, minus my commentary. What you'll see is the following kill / hook order:
- Down and hook Meg.
- Kate saves Meg.
- Down and hook Kate.
- Kate uses Deliverance to unhook herself.
- Down and hook Kate.
- Nea saves Kate.
- Down Kate, but leave her to be picked up.
- Down and hook Nea (dead).
- Down and hook Meg (dead).
- Down and hook Kate (dead).
Down and hook David (dead).
After the match, Kate stuck around to give me the following message:
"tunneling ######### i hope you choke on your dads dick you worthless [BAD WORD], go apologize to the trees for wasting the oxygen they work so hard for your pathetic excuse for an existence. [BAD WORD] #########." (sic)
Now, keep in mind, I was doing Adept, so I could only use the Hag's teachable perks. I didn't tunnel Meg when she was unhooked, I wouldn't have double-hooked Kate, but no one pulled her off. I left Kate to be picked up despite being able to kill her after she was saved by Nea. Kate was the second to last to die.
All things considered, I don't feel like I did anything wrong. You could say using Mint Rag and Rusty Shackles constitutes "camping" if I always port back to the hook when the save is made, but I never re-hooked anyone who was already injured aside from when Kate unhooked herself with Deliverance and there wasn't a different target to chase.
So, why exactly should killers bother to try to play by survivor "rules" for what's "fair" or "not toxic?"
Well that Kate was the only one getting tunneled after getting off the hook. Everything else was fairplay.
Maybe she took it personal being the only one tunneled and then after being on her second hook and unhooked you went for her first if I got that right.
If I'd see that happening in a game I'd probably asked you what the Kate did that you tunneled her (might have seemed like s.th personal?). So yeah I can understand that she complained. But I understand that after playing fair most of the time her reaction seems wrong.
I understand both sides.
At least there is no need for that to happen again since you seem to be one of those rare ppl playing killer that know what fair play is and you got your trophies already.
The way I see it, if someone is being farmed, I should down the person being saved, even if I don't re-hook them right away. At least the farmer is deprived of altruism points for it, and then I do hook the farmer.
I've queue'ed up the full video to my doctor fight, below, which was by far the stupidest game I've ever played in DBD. Every single survivor farmed another, aside from the David, who didn't have the chance to. Granted, I was going after the adept achievements because I logged in to find my rank reset all the way back to 20, so these aren't the best or most experienced survivors by far, and yes, I was taking advantage of having the best add-on's available to get the 4k's despite the rank, but then I never used a single mori either, but always ran streamers aside from one killer who didn't have any and had to go with a pudding instead.
At the end of the day though, when I'm playing killer, I'm there to kill. And toxic survivors and general ######### are making me feel a lot better about running the sweatiest builds I can come up with.
I hope you find some of those nice survivors I had yesterday
Everyone being nice and thanking me for playing fair. That makes up for those insults -

I think your interpretation of what constitutes tunnelling is a little wide. But that's probably just another case of entitlement: "When I am unhooked, I am entitled to get away while you chase my saviour." It's an either-or choice. If you get chosen, either by chance or because you were in the best position to be chased, deal with it.
I was trying to give an explanation to why that Kate might have been angry.Dunno if one can find 'tunneling' in a dictionary but that's what I've been told/learned what tunneling is.1. Going after the unhooked immediatelyOr2.Going after the same person most of the timeI think the best way is to play fair like Crizpen did. -

Yeah I'd like that, too.If you meet toxic ppl and don't want to play with them you should be able to avoid that.I do have encountered two survivor + killer duos that always get everyone killed in the first few minutes of the game and start farming afterwards. I got them more then once only good I can at least see the survivor names to avoid them but I've ran into the same killers with other friends. Would be easier to avoid those killers (and all the tunneling camping one's that never play fair) by seeing their names.

I'm talking about Survivors of course. I've been playing a couple of games tonight as Solo Survivor and I honestly have [BAD WORD] had it with my fellow Survivors.
5 games had bad Killers who couldn't catch Survivors for #########, but still, the Killers ended up with 3-4 kills each round even though at the time of the Exit Gates becoming powered, there were still 3-4 alive.
I don't understand how you guys have the audacity to complain about how difficult your Survivor life if you throw games as soon as you get downed, don't cleanse totems and get caught by NOED or are so immensely altruistic that instead of just getting the [BAD WORD] out and sacrifice one of your team mates, you hang around for desperate unhook attempts that more often than not end with another 1-2 dead Survivors in the end.
I'd really prefer it if you guys could man up a bit, grow a pair, make the game more enjoyable for the Solos so that we don't have to hope "please don't be another group of idiots, please not another bunch of stupid Survivors" each and every single game we play.
It's no surprise that the average game ends with 2.5 dead Survivors if you guys practically [BAD WORD].
Why are you complaining. Sounds like you'd just leave the game being safe. How can you be angry about others trying to safe someone else? No need to be bothered by that it's their decision how they want to behave.I personally like those games in the end with trying to rescue one from the hook in the endgame. Those are usually quite fun even if everybody dies in the end. -

Well, survivor mains in this forum repeatedly tried to remind you that not everybody plays like the depip squad. Survivor mains themselves were the ones who were saying that playing solo was unbearable and their teammates were potatos. It is forum killers that come up with the worst case scenarios that could happen to killers and want to balance the game around it.
Now the same forum killers think that the hatch is completely unfair and should be eradicated because the work that the survivors do is not enough for them.
Just like you hope that the next match you don't get another stupid survivor team, survivors also hope that they don't get another unskilled camper and tunneler and actually play the game with generators, chases, savings etc. I tried to leave the match as soon as possible so that I wouldn't get the same camper over and over again.
I just thanked a huntress today just because she didn't camp in the Lery's today.
There is not much difference between survivors and killers. Threads like this serves no purpose either.

That's how bad the game has become, where you have to thank killers for not camping.I actually thank every killer I meet that doesn't tunnel and/or camp. Doesn't take much time neighter, tonight just twice. On a usual evening about 2-5 times out of about 20-40 rounds. On ps4 camping and tunneling is too real even in the red ranks.Fairplay seems just to be too oldfashioned nowadays. I might as well say thanks for that as I don't have fun in an unfair game even if I survive. It's easy to play fair as the killer by having the upper hand. -
My answere is not really available. I only safe ppl if they're safe after (getting them healed up so they're not on their 2 hook imediately) or just before they get into struggle (even with the kill patrolling, camping or tunneling like the most do) I can still take a hit and give them a second chance to have fun in the game as well (as this is why everyone is playing in first place and nobody has fun hanging there the whole game)

So, we've all heard the complaints about tunneling and camping.
- Down and hook David (dead).
Everything else was fairplay.Maybe she took it personal being the only one tunneled and then after being on her second hook and unhooked you went for her first if I got that right. If I'd see that happening in a game I'd probably asked you what the Kate did that you tunneled her (might have seemed like s.th personal?). So yeah I can understand that she complained. But I understand that after playing fair most of the time her reaction seems wrong.I understand both sides. At least there is no need for that to happen again since you seem to be one of those rare ppl playing killer that know what fair play is and you got your trophies already. -
TheMidnightRidr said:Time and time again, I get the lovely messages complaining that I “tunnel”.
Ok.
I consider tunneling relentlessly hunting down a specific survivor over and over again to kill them. Can we agree that’s tunneling? Cool.
I refrain from from doing this as much as I can. It’s just boring to me. Yet I get called a tunneler for when someone is unhooked not even 15 meters from me and I down the unhooked survivor.
Yeah, I’m just gonna make my life harder by following your rules and throwing common sense out the window. Not to mention I should just leave mindless farms and saves unpunished. HA!
If you consider me downing an already injured survivor who was just pulled off a hook while I was still in proximity VS a healthy, likely prepared survivor willing to “sacrifice” himself for the BPs, then, yes, I’m a tunneling son of a b****. I don’t play like an NPC would nor will I ever.I dunno if you really wanted an answere or just some chanting from the main-killer community. But still I'll try to show you the survivor point of view.A survivor can't do nothing about being unhooked, you can't like graps the hook to prevent yourself from getting farmed (unsafely unhook/ being unhooked before the killer even had a chance to leave). There are some survivors that love to unhook others unsafely knowing they won't be in any danger due to the usually tunneling killers. And they do get bp's for the unsafe hook. If the farmed survivor lives a little longer till you down them again they even get rewarded with safe hook rescue (full points) although they really just farmed points by getting the survivor killed. The survivor that got kiled will probably have like the least possible bp's if you found them early in the game. They had no chance to do anything to gain bp's or to have fun in the game.So by tunneling the injured farmed survivor, all you do is enforcing the farming (I had ppl unhooking me like that dc'ing when the killer played fair-means he wasn't tunneling- which isn't quite often). When I play killer I try to do the following: If I'm still next to the hook and the survivor is unhooked I'll smack. If the unhooked is down I still go for the one (often a meg) that unhooked and hunt them down. I don't mind if the first hooked get's pick up. If I hit the unhooking survivor I still go straight for that one.If the unhook was made right after I reached the nearest gen I still got back and try to get the one that unhooked.Survivors have to play together to have a chance against a killer. If s.o on the team farms others or is trying to get others killed this one us sure to be dead in a game with me as the killer.Playing the Killer I got the power to decide what behavior is ok and fair and I can honor it by giving the person a fair game. And in case that a survivor is being a selfish, farming one I again as Killer have the power to kill that person. But well I like and cherish fairplay more then winning unlike probably most of the main killers. I think we all can have fun in the game, that's the reason ppl are playing it in first place. As survivor I don't mind dying on the hook or to a mori if I had a fair game and had a real chance to make some points. But that's rare lately. No trying to point on killer mains but usually when I thank a killer for fairplay they tell me how the hate other behavior cause they are survivor mains. Maybe some if the hatred mail you get are not being salty survivors? When I play killer I usually get 4 k or at least 2. I only always get thanks for playing fair and gg's.I've never been called tunneler or camper even if I slugged the rescued (but didn't hook them) or was still near the hook with no chance of even bringing decent space between me and the hook.So maybe, just maybe some of you think about trying fairplay? You might not always get the 4 k, but games that are fun and fair for you and the survivors AND you might even get a nice comment on that fairplay although you killed all the 4
At least that's what I experienced.Playing on ps4 btw. -
Right u are. Even with 2 offerings to get rid of a hook and the 2 survivors with the new hook destroying perk the killer didn't even need to have a perk to get you on a hook. No chances whatsoever to wiggle free cause there is nearly always another hook nearby.Do s.th about it or stop that survivors have to wiggle. It's just wasting a controller for nothing.

My friend was hooked, right in front of the hatch. The killer camped her until she died, making me the last survivor. I was hiding in a locker right behind the hook near the hatch.
The moment the Nurse left the hatch, I darted for it. Unfortunately, she came back and caught me. I had never been hooked or even damaged the entire round. I helped light 4/5 generators. But I get hooked and die instantly because I'm the last survivor...
I understand that it's a team based game, but at that point the killer already has a huge advantage. I should at the very least be able to make attempts to get off the hook. Every other survivor had that option. Why not the last survivor? All the luck perks and offerings in the world are just thrown away.
Sound like all of the killer talking here are watching the last person on the hook die. XDI personally never camp or tunnel cause I don't feel like I need to do that and that it is an awful behavior that cuts out the fun and challenge of this game.I think it wouldn't hurt to give the last survivor the same chances and points the others had. And I'd probably let them escape too if it was the same low 4% chance. Why not, no need to always get the 4 dead on hook. -

This is a game, you got fooled in a GAME, and this has led you to describe a whole bunch of people who don't agree with your assessment as immoral, lacking dignity, trust, empathy and healthy minds.......who on earth do you think you are to decide such based on very limited information?
Your fixation on this event is unhealthy, and your knee jerk reaction to brand this person as sick?...well i hate to say it but its a little creepy.
Ok maybe it was a crappy thing to do, tbh i don't really identify because on the rare occasions a killer wants to farm, i'll go stand under a hook at the end and let them get their hook points. However you cannot make some pseudo psychological assessment based on an action in a video game, not one that is reliable, same as you can't make assumptions about a group of people who disagree with you based on a forum post.
I have no issues with you getting P.O'd at a killer for doing this, each to their own reactions, but your snap judgements are out of line and are based on minuscule evidence.
People don't lack the capacity to be decent just because they don't agree with you.
Nice psychological use of language

You're quite good at saying that I'm a disturbed person, without using the words.
I have no issue saying someone is disturbed if i think they are disturbed, but i don't know you well enough to know whether or not you are actually disturbed, and that is my point in a nutshell. I believe i stated that i personally found your assumptions ridiculous and your fixation on a simple act in a video game seemed (to me) a little creepy. I won't make an assumption that you are disturbed simply from a few posts, i don't know who you are in a day to day life, how you treat people or how you socially interact with strangers, and it would be ridiculous for me to try. If you inferred such an accusation from my post....well that's really your issue not mine.
Resumed you said that my assumption are wrong and crazy.
That's your opinion / conclusion and that's ok.
You point out that I'm wrong saying I lack evidence.
I think I explained why I come to my assumptions and that I don't understand why s.o. would do that.
As you are so absolutly sure that I am wrong and that ppl don't have to lack moral/integrity or some issues if they are ok with tricking others for their own advantage I assume you'll have no trouble explaining it to me.
Sure. Part of the reason people like video games is that it allows them to do something they wouldn't normally do. It isn't really rocket science to be fair. I'm pretty sure half the players in GTA multiplayer wouldn't really hit a hooker with a baseball bat or blow up a police station. What compels us to do dumb things like that in a video game is an inner immaturity that we freely exercise in order to blow off steam. . It might be distasteful to some people much as your killer's 'trick' upon you, but it isn't enough of a personal reference to label them as mentally disturbed.
Why (a reason) would s.o. decent with moral / integrity and a healthy mind, trick other ppl to their advantage
in a game?
Honest answer....they are likely bored with the game or so damn fed up with survivors trolling that they probably took it out on someone else. That doesn't make their little head games fair, but that's blowing off steam not a direct link to mental or moral interest. However i am secure enough in my own self to admit this is just a theory. And yet, once again, one chance meeting does not give you the correct amount of information to label someone as sick or lacking moral character.
Why (a reason) would s.o. decent with moral / integrity and a healthy mind, be ok with s.o. tricking other ppl to their advantage in a game?
I'd like to know you assumptions/ explanation to that.
Unfortunately you are asking me the same question wearing a different hat and thus my explanation isn't going to change much. People are not readable in the time it takes for someone to finish a game in less than an hour, and you certainly cannot tell a persons personality by a simple post. You have an opinion on the subject, other people have theirs, and as i said before, not agreeing with you is not a benchmark for lack of character or mental stability. Essentially you are profiling someone based on very little evidence, and hey i am guilty of it too, by inferring that your straight up jump to psychopath/sociopath seemed a little creepy. I admit that in that instance i was actually wrong (yep I'm even secure enough to admit i'm wrong) since the better wording should have been 'A little overzealous about a video game mind play and somewhat too eager to plant labels on people. I'll openly admit, you annoyed the hell out of me for taking it upon yourself to label people you didn't know, people who only posted their opinions, as lacking moral character. And to be honest that has not changed.
I believe I answered all your questions to the best of my abilities.
Well thx for trying to explain. Although I got to say that I still don't get it.Well about the Game and what you said about GTA I wouldn't compare this behavior (blowing up a police Station in a game) to making ppl believe s.th if all you really want to do is f***cking ppl off for your own sick pleasure. If that one hadn't written what he did after that game one could think ok of that person. All this person wanted to do was annyoning other ppl ( that didn't do anything to him ) and taking advantage of the gained trust. I still don't get why s.o right in their mind would feel like doing s.th. this disgusting to s.o.I'd get it if it was some kind of revenge. But it wasn't.From his words he'd planned to do that. And I refuse to believe that this is normal or ok.I didn't say I know that this person is distrubed just that this is the only explanation logical that I can come up with. And still that hasn't changed. You said you explained by your best so unfortunately I can't expect any valid and logical explanation on why s.o. would plan to do s.th line that to ppl they don't even know and have never done a thing to that one.Maybe there is none. I'll just leave it like that cause probably nobody knows except themselves.Btw I usually lable ppl by their actions. One can say a lot, but how s.o behaves (and even more if it's not s.th. important), when they are sure there won't be any consequences or no one will see, we get to see a part of them that is usually under cover. This is quite reliable and valid to find out what kind of person they are.We get to decide how to behave and what we decide to do carries a part of our believes and personality. A part that might stay in the shadows if we only talk to s.o.But someone can't trick s.o else without exposing their bad character. -

This "it's a game" again. As if every kind of action is ok if it done in a game cause you don't have ppl face to face.If s.o. is ok with tricking ppl face to face one wouldn't question that this is sick.I honestly don't get why everyone is going on about how it is ok to act like a complete ***** when it is in a game. It's not ok where I live and I'm happy about that.I know no one will ever be able to confirm my conclusion but that is (fortunate for us) cause the n would never be big enough to actually try to proof significance. Fortunate because there is only few ppl doing that. But this somehow (not valid or reliable I know) supports what I said about normal ppl not being ok with acting like that. As we can see it's only a few doing it.I sure can make any assumption I want- as anybody else can-. You did it to me too, so you should know. What is interesting that you (like others) aren't giving any valid explanation as to why anyone right in their mind would do that.I'd love to hear one. I'd take that into account and I might come to another conclusion afterwards. As you are so full of knowledge and proof to why my theory can't be right, this is probably an easy thing to do.So:Why would s.o. right in their mind and with moral/integrity trick another person to their advantage in that game? Why would s.o. right in their mind and with moral/integrity think that it's ok to trick s.o else in a game?I'd like to hear your Explanation for that behaviour / way of thinking. -

It's not a real Killer.Just s.o. who plays a character in a game.I thought it was a normal person playing an online game to have fun like all the rest of us.Why should I assume that a stranger, with the same intention (having fun in a game), is okay with tricking others through sick mind games? That's not really what I usually expect from ppl. I do know a few of them are playing unfair (tunneling and camping). But sick mind games are really on a different page. This kind of behavior isn't even in the repertoire of a normal person. Ppl right in their mind would never even think of doing s.th like that. It just wouldn't cross their minds let alone following that idea.At least that goes for the majority of the ppl I know. But it seems, by what some of you guys are writing, that you are living far away. Somewhere where there is no common sense, moral, dignity, honor, trust, empathy, healthy minds and/or other human things that I am used to.Well at least I should call myself happy being far far away from the ppl with the twisted ideas of what is ok.Sry your environment is ok with that so you had to adjust. -

Anyone who pretends to farm, then just kills everyone is pretty trashy. I don't know how difficult it is to play Killer on the ps4, but that's about scraping the bottom of the barrel. But really, you can't trust any Killer. Just like Survivors, they're out to do their "job" and get some phat BP as well. You have to expect anything from them, just like Survivors will do whatever they can for an advantage. It's the way the game is played. It might be toxic and low, but if it's in the game there is nothing you can really do about it. Looked at from the Killer's angle, it's a pretty damn good strategy.
"Strategy"? OMG...I can't see how it's a "strategy" in any way. To gain the trust of s.o. just to finish them off after being satisfied. That's not only toxic behavior, that is what you find in the mind of psychopaths/sociopaths.I think that is sick...
After all, the Clown for example, sounds sick in more ways than one.I never said that a psychotic Killer wasn't sick.I'm playing as a Killer, too and many others I know but for Bloodpoints. It's much easier and faster to get them as a Killer.Playing a Killer on dbd is not necessarily sick. But I understand that point with the Clown. -

After all, the Clown for example, sounds sick in more ways than one.As I said I'm playing Killer, too. But I wouldn't trick the survivors into thinking I was up to farm with them when I wasn't. I've not once farmed with survivors but if I did I wouldn't use it to get them all killed. That is just so sick. Why would I even want to do that? Not for Bloodpoints obviously cause I get much more hunting the survivors down one by one.So what would be my reason tricking them into thinking I was a farming killer when my real intention was to down them all 'at once' and hook them?Someone able to explain that?I just can't think of any reason to do this at all. Unless it's because the person doing it, is enjoying it because of a mental illness. -

I agree, it's a valid move. Happened to me too, I fell for it and got hooked promptly. Had a good laugh after game.FrenziedRoach said:You got played and your mad you fell for it.....
And this makes the killer toxic how exactly?
I think the guy is brilliant myself.
BTW, I generally don't trust farming killers. I usually just open the gates and get out. I prefer facing the ruthless types that force me to play my best. In fact, I used to report the farmers regularly as there was a button for it.
How could he "mind game you" and hook you promptly? That doesn't sound like what I encountered. -

What you say is quite a thing... so now it's the fault of the ppl trusting others if they get hurt not the ones doing it?
Hmmm. Hope you don't really think it's the fault of the victim for real. That's an awful way of thinking in general.
And if you think that, please keep away from ppl and don't tell them your opinion, like just never...
Okay, now you're either trolling or have some serious emotional disturbance where you can't separate a game from reality. If anything, it's sick for anyone to compare a violent, gory game like DBD to real life.
How someone behaves is part of their character, it is a fragment of themselves. Ppl decide how to act based on a lot of things like experience and moral etc. While *playing* a Killer on a game you are still yourself (with the morality and concious you got) your not becoming the Killer. Ergo however you decide to play, this is based on yourself as a person. You are the one deciding on how to play. Fair or not that depends on what kind of person you are. This means if you decide to trick ppl (even on a game) you as a person must be ok with forcing mind games on other (unknown) ppl for your own purpose. To be ok with this behavior implies that this person eighter thinks there is nothing wrong with it, they don't mind it or -worst case- they do it because it satisfies them. Gaining unknown ppls trust (yes behind that survivor-characters there are real ppl moving them... therefore you are obviously doing these sick "mind games" with the real ppl behind the screen) with the intention of abusing it, in order to achieve a self set goal, isn't turning into a decent behavior only because it's online/a game.Your behavior and decisions are based on your personality and reciprocally form your personality.Your decicions stay real. What is 'ok' for you as a person is real. The game doesn't change who you are. Playing a Killer doesn't change your personality or what you believe is right, decent and fair. You can't blame the game for-your own behavior in it-the way you as a person decide to play-for the way how you treat unknown ppl onlineThe game doesn't change a thing you are stil responsible for everything your decions and acts. Nothing changes that. What's the right thing to do in the real world isn't different from the right thing in a game. There is no difference.Same goes for decicions and behavior. What is "wrong" and "not ok" in the real world is just as "wrong" and "not ok" in a game. -
