Expect I don't know if my teammate has adrealine and I can't say teammates wait do the save first before gen. Swf has massive advantage I can say "hey I have adrealine do the save before fixing last gen." Giving more information to soloQ players would help immensilely. You should see your teammates perk but now you can just make a quess.
It's not big problem for me currently as I mostly play 4 man swf on survivor side. It's not fair how massive advantage swf has. You have considerably weaker chance in soloQ. Last nerfs to survivors mostly affect soloQ anyway in swf we can use good not that long ago buffed perks: for the people+buckle up and background player.
If you cannot get value out of background player with the current version of the perk, as a swf or soloQ you literally have a massive skill issue, the perk lets you get a guaranteed save if someone goes down at a pallet or if you have a flashbang or a very, very, very easy save if you have a flashlight. Literally have no idea why you mention that perk in particular is not good in soloQ.

Expect this will not nerf adrealine in swf anyway only in soloQ. Swf will communicate instead and do the save before popping last gen now.
Last time I checked you as a solo can still see when people are hooked no? If you are repairing a gen you can see that your teammate is hooked, if you repair that gen and make your teammate lose adrenaline it is not a swf vs soloq issue its a skill issue on your part, you had all the information to make a play and you dropped the ball.
This is literally the issue on soloQ, yes there are some info gaps but even if you gave all the info to soloq players they will still drop like flies, why? Because they are simply not good at the game, they have the info but have no idea how to use it, giving them more info does nothing.
The amount of times my teammates have piled together when the hud shows legion is in a frenzy or tried to do pinheads box before he picks up someone has happened too much times, both things can be countered easily with the use of the hud, yet my teammates will rarely do it.

People want this interaction removed so they can more easily tunnel with their blood puke on plague. That is literally the only reason as to why people would see this change, figure it was a bug fix, and then complain that it's no longer in the game, all while hiding behind "well the devs said perks shouldn't disable the killer's abilities."
The easiest and most obvious answer to "how did the devs not notice" is the devs do not play their game to the extent that they should. Case and point: the scrapped twins changes. Case and point: Blight's "nerfs" (buffs). Case and point: the new DS animation. Case and point: the eruption meta. The devs are ostensibly too busy making the game that they can't play test it themselves, and whatever QA team they do have does a very superficial check when new patches release. The fog whisperers are supposed to be the dev's gauge on the health of the game for balance, fun, and bugs, but the devs seldom listen to them. Otz can make a 7 hour long video on his proposed changes, but it's all for naught because the suggestions fall on deaf ears.
At this point, blight needs 3 dashes base kit, and nurse either needs 1 blink or a complete rework. Yes, it is unfortunate that they remain at the top, but plague is very, VERY close behind them in terms of killer snowball.
How would you determine "exactly where you need to be" is, when you've just hooked somebody, 5 gens are left, and you don't have bbq. You start patrolling gens when you have no current targets. I really hope your answer is "well I'd just proxy camp usually."
Just related to the last point if you got a first hook and there are still 5 gens remaining, either you are playing nurse or blight or the survivors you are facing are literally throwing, a first chase should at the very worst get one gen done and at the very best 3, however a 3 gen first chase means a lot of resources were spent so the perfect spot for first chase is going to a strong loop, greeding it for how long you can, drop pallet and the use unsafe loops, that should be 2 gens if the killer does not drop chase.

I am convinced people will get gifted auric cells and call it dissapointing because it wasnt thr amount they wanted. They are literally giving 300k BPs, which is amazing for new players and people who can only play some matches after work, literally nothing negative or disapointing.

This game desperately needs a break from new content and an update that solely focusses on fixing problems in the code.
Its not ok, that problems reoccur that often (vault distance) and that every update brings a bunch of new seemingly unrelated bugs with it.
Id be fine with one major chaper being a "clean up"-chapter and not a new character. I think the game would profit massively in the long run.
Do this and have a bunch of content creators saying the game is boring and nothing new is being added coupled with a ton of people complaining the game is stale and they need new content.
After than when a new killer or event is released people will literally complain regardless of the quality of the update because " all this time without content and they deliver this?", dbd players will complain and habe a tantrum regardless of what bhvr does, it has been a literal track record since 2016.
Why should bhvr do this change if the community will be as unhappy and whinny but they will get less money as a company due to less chapters per year? Literally shooting yourself in the foot.
-
People who play m1 killers know they will lose anyway so they will not tunnel or try as hard as people who only care about winning, those people are also playing the stronger killers because they want to win.

It’s really not. There’s a clear and easy counter to it in slugging but of course everyone is like “I’m just gonna tunnel them out right off the hook it’s the only way!!”
lol no, it’s just what you want to do to punish survivors for getting a buff to a perk you hate. 🤣🤣🤣 That’s how it always is here. Anytime a survivor perk gets a buff that they don’t like people decide to punish the survivors for using it. If that’s what you’re gonna do then do it, whatever. But let’s stop pretending that you’re only doing it because that’s the “only way to counter it now” when it clearly isn’t. Own up. 😆
Kid named plot twist, you go down with DS, so either they slug and you get healed to full back or they pick you up and get DS, nice counter mate.
However in that case the correct option is to eat the DS, and if Im being honest this change doesnt do much, why? Because you should normally tunnel the weak link, and pub warriors are so bad at the game even if they got a DS at a jungle gym they will go down in less than a minute.
This change is incredibly unbalance for good survivors but since they are as rare as twins players for soloq its ok.

He's still likely top of A-tier, which is fine.
It's incredibly disappointing that we waited four years for Twins changes and they've essentially boiled down to some minor number changes.
DS will still not be great, but it'll be better.
UW got super nerfed. Finally.
Idk I wouldnt say the twins changes are disapointing, ghe people who like current twins keep their killer and survivors dont get another killer to hate. Billy rework showed people only like variety or seeing rare killer if they are not good, because if they are it becomes unfun, and while yes ptb twins was an abomiation, even if they released a watered down version of it just the fact that they become better will make people dislike facing them.
Both side are happy, people who like twins got QoL, and no new killer to complain about, everybody won.
-
Yes, even if you let them escape a 2k is a loss. You took the L willingly, doesnt take away the fact is still a lost match for the killer.

Should nemesis get a counter for when people use vaccines? Absolutelly not, because the vaccines are the counterplay to his power.

Sadako on the Game is actually a menace because the map is so small and its 2 story, so you can actually cause some serious damage with all the Teleporting.
She can teleport all she wants you can loop her for days on that map so the condemn she builds is irrelevant, she has to drop chase if you know how to loop, you then use a tape and repeat until gens are done.
-
While I agree she is semi decent she just shows how bad the average player is. She is a stealth killer that gives you a telltale before she attacks you way before any of the other stealth killers do, her teleport is sibpar with a huge cooldown and you can see its aura in chase so that she does not catch you with a tp and getting rid of condemed is so easy if you made it easier it would be mending. Also, is you know how to use checkspots she doesnt have a chase power at all.
However when with this the case, pub warriors are so bad at dbd they will still let people like willie get away with matches like that, I have seen people go down against sadako on the game in less that 30 seconds, if that happened to me I would seriously dc or gave up on hook because I fumbled that chase horribly.
Tdlrd sadako is a bad killer but people are so bad at the game she still can get results, meaning she is prob ok and doesnt need changes.

Well, some comp players certainly have things to learn from my experience.
Absolutelly true, there is much to learn about the game, however concluding that if a player uses a certain strategy they lack skill because of it is a tilted statement or completely ignorant.
Tunneling while obnoxious is a strategy that can be used to be more effective in the match, in fact knowing when to tunnel or spread hooks is a skill in of itself.
If you NEED to tunnel in pubs ill agree your skill is lacking but even the best of players employ tunneling if its necesary

Literally making Kindred base kit would help out solo queues so much already while being useless for SWF since they get the information that perk has over voice chat anyways. Just a thought
I so want this to happen, hell dont make it only so kindred is basekit, make empathy basekit or bond.
Because soloq will remain the same, because you can give a bad player all the info you want, it wont make them good. You can have all the info you want, wont stop claudette selfcaring instead of saving you on hook, or mikaela going down in less than 30s against an m1 killer.
Hell dwight right now is cleansing against plague or healing against legion and seeing his teamates wont change that action.

I wouldn't say it's the only good stealth perk, Trail of Torment is pretty good now too after the buff.
I'll agree some of the other stealth perks are a little lackluster though (and Beast of Prey is just garbage).
Trail of torment literally tells the survivor the killer has gotten stealth so that they can keep an eye out for them, defeating the purpose of a stealth attack, on top of that it literally shows where the killer activated the perk so you also have an idea were the killer will approach from.
If you get surprised by ToT either the killer has mindbreaker or you might wanna make an appointment with your eye doctor.
-
Not even close buddy, slinger is honestly one of the most underated killers in the game because unlike a lot of killer and specially m1 killer he is rewarded for doing good plays. Let me tell you what I mean by that, sadako, trapper, freddy and all those meme killers can outplay you really hard at a loop, but you can still correct that, use checkspots or an exhaustion perk and youll be fine, yes the killer won the mindgame but their power is such a joke you wont bother.
Slinger actually give you agency, if you are good at slinger every loop is playable, he actually has something few killers have and it is he rewards your skill as a killer, he does not depend on survivors messing up.
Just look at comp, he is literally better than huntress against good teams because huntress as a pubstomper relies on teams being mediocre in order to win, but slinger doesnt he relies on you the killer being good enough.

@sizzlingmario4 said:
I don’t think it’s a problem with Wesker, it’s a problem with Unforeseen in general. It lasts too long and cooldown is too short so it’s overall active too often. It’s also more difficult for survivors to recognize than most other stealth perks.
Giving Wesker a lullaby would be unnecessary imo.
Tbf unforeseen its the only stealth perk that actually is usefull aside from plaything, so the much wanted nerf to it will leave killer with only one good stealth perk, which I am sure would be ok for most survivors, but killers will replace that slot for more boring slowdown which decreases match quality a lot.
-
Because you can only remove nemesis infection 1 time (if you are not screwing your team that is), while you can remove weakened easily in chase and out of chase any times you desire to as long as you dodge the UVX after getting weakened . Nemesis infection also nullifies stealth which weaken does not.
I am all for nemesis buffs but comparing him to unknown is kinda misaligned.

That would take fun from the specific killer.
What about 4 other people that are in a trial with you? Is it fun for them to get free hits because there is no indications about killer position? (no aura reading, no terror radiue etc.)Yet another killer main thinking only about his experience :)
Scratch mirror myers is one of the easiest playstyles to beat, are you seriously saying it has no counter?
If its irony then I took the bait, but if its serious I have no idea how one can consider such a gimmick playstyle that is literally loopable the whole match to be problematic.

You can absolutely sneak up on survivors.
You should not be able to sneak on survivor if they are not deaf or if they have the visual terror radius activated if they are not blind.

Most balanced and completely counterable? Nah. Not really. Unknown does have some pretty uncounterable scenarios. Like having a Hallucination in a loop. There's nothing you can do to avoid a hit there, if they don't mess up and it's also possible for them to wait in that loop until a Hallucination is placed. That's really not a nice feeling to play against since it basically makes them a stronger Dredge in that loop. It's also something that makes this killer less interesting for me to play as because I know that I often have the option to just wait and place a Hallucination instead of actually playing around with the UVX.
I don't really like playing as Unknown either. I find it kind of boring for the most part and the only real interesting thing about the killer for me is the bouncing projectile. That's something different. But everything else, I don't really like. Hitting survivors through walls also feels pretty wrong to me.
The visual design in my opinion is more goofy than anything else.
Cannot share this opinion whatsoever, as someone who plays a lot on projectile killer unknown is probably one of the coolest ones designed. He is everything artist should have been, and hitting through walls is his highest skill expression, removing it would be like removing billy flicks or slingers ability to shoot trough tiny gaps. The arc the proyectile has also creates a skill floor for snipes and the bounce lets you do delayed shots and tricks that are incredible.
Unknown is one of the few interesting killers added after they took away all skill expresion on chucky.
Also without addons a hallucination takes 60s to spawn and the timer gets -15 seconds for each survivor who is weakened, meaning either the killer waits 60s and basically throws the game in order to be a less effective dredge or they have to hit you 4 times with UVX meaning they also waste a LOT of time.
Lets take addons into account too then, if you are using the newspaper then the survivor has to drop the pallet so that you can get the reduced cooldown, so now you can only use the hallucination in the next loop, again more time wasted, or if you use the footprint you have to hit 3 times UVX, which is still less than mediocre for chase time.
-
Idk coconut exagerates a lot in his content and he also has a very skewed view on a lot of matter regarding dbd, like believing pubs were harder than comp and making a fool of himself doubling down. If some streamer are quitting the game ok but how many out of the global pool are doing so? He does not have evidence of a significant pattern he has just <10 examples and established a trend.
-
TO this date people still heal against legion so O have no faith survivors will learn and adapt to removing UVX or dodge the projectile we will just hear its undodgable and he needs a nerf. Nothing really revolutionary for dbd.
-
You need to look at him 3-4 times to get rid of weakened, not stare at him because when you glance at unknown weakened starts decaying even if you do not keep staring at them for like 1.25 s, so you only need to get some glances at him. Taking weakened off is extremely easy due to that, so dodging a shot is very regarding as if the killer fails a shot you have enough time for sure to take weakened off and now he has to hit you again 2 times.
Imo unknown is probably the biggest skillcheck killer in this game, as in he literally filters people who are not good. If someone is midly good at dbd they will absolutely destroy this killer in outdoor maps. But supar players will struggle a lot against this killer.
-

No wonder my soloq teamates even die to meme killers like trapper, the psyche of dbd players is something else man.

Thrilling is no way a slowdown perk, its an info perk. If you are getting slowdown with thrilling your opponents are literally Meg 03 [BOT]

I didn't say he was overpowered.
The DS buff isn't going to do much for most people.
I also didn't accuse you of saying OP was bad, just remarked that it might not be the player who is dead at five gens fault.
If most people cannot get to a loop after a 5 second stun, that is a MASSSIVE skill issue and they deserve to go down again. Thats like the people with 4 slowdowns complaining their gens went too fast, at that point perks cannot play the game for you, either you get better or continue to get Ls.

I’m fine with stealth perks being good, but I’m not fine with them giving no practical implication to survivors that aren’t on comms.
The problem is perks with implications such as trail of torment make them useless as the implication negates any value the perk can get. Like if I see a gen go yellow if its near me ill wait a little and stop the regression and if its far I will just keep an eye out so when I see the killer in the distance approaching I can prerun. Both cases mean the perk got no stealth value because the telltale was too obvious.
Like I personally have never gotten surprised by ToT as it literally screams "watch out the killer got stealth, also this is were the killer was when they activated stealth so you know where they might be coming from" I feel genuinly curious how someone can get surprised by any ToT play, is like falling off a cliff after you saw a sign saying "cliff ahead" and you have like 3 bussiness days to react before arriving at the cliff.
-
@Nebula said:
This perk is extremely poorly designed IMO.
An absolute screw you to solo queue players as there’s no tell unless you see them kick the gen or run near the gen that has been kicked. Every other stealth perk in the game gives survivors some sort of indication that the killers undetectable and to be more aware besides this one.
Dark Devotion is the only other one that doesn’t immediately give you a tell, but once you see it once, you know when the obsession gets hit to be on the lookout.
I’ve died to this perk multiple times in situations where I feel there was actually nothing I could have done to be aware it was in play. Just feels extremely stupid.
If Trail of Torment highlights the gen, why in the world would this one not?
Tbf most stealth perks are useless, maybe except for plaything, like trail of torment doesnt work if people have half of their cerebral cortex working. I rather see more stealth perks that replace slowdown perks than see every stealth perk be useless and killer keep running 4 slowdows because other perks are not usefull.

No they are not, literally you have Ghostface and Myers with insta-down abilities, other undetectable killers have higher speed (Skull Merchant, Wraith).
And there is pig.
Ghostface and myers are still m1 killers, they activate exposed? Its no issue just loop em its not like they are slinger or have a power that makes exposed scary, literally go to a jungle gym and if you are a decent looper the expose should ran out before you get hit.
-
Playing stealth killers is shooting yourself on the foot tho, they are just m1 killers with a fancy status effect. Even then if you use your eyes those killer become powerless so its cool that actually good killers can use stealth mechanics.
It also takes a perk slot that could be use in more boring slowdown perks so I welcome when people use it.
-
So heres what you can do, go to the menu and quit the game. Boot up idk dark souls 3 and have fun.
There is no counter to a flasbang background player save unless the survivors messes it up and with backgrounds player speed unless they are literally bots they will not mess it up.

You're talking as if the survivor escapes through the exit gates every time a pallet is dropped on your head.
Of course your chases are going to be longer when a second survivor is helping their teammate extend the duration of their chase. They are doing so at the detriment of gen progress, so it's a net zero gain.
If a survivor intentionally goes down on pallet, because their buddy is nearby with BGP, I still don't see the issue. They just gave you a free down SOONER than if they were genuinely trying to outrun you.
Survivors aren't winning the game because of BGP any more than they did without it. It just sucks to get dunked on, and thats the real reason Killers have issue with it.
Don't live in absolutes, and it won't be a problem. Downing a survivor isn't the "end" of a chase—just part of it.Today a game of the community cup was literally lost because a team messed up a background player play, so yes it can literally win games. In fact most comp teams use it as it is a guarantee save unless the bgp user has played less than 3 hours. Also you do not need a survivor trailing behind the chase to get the save you, the speed boost lets you get the pallet save almost across the map you just have to let go of the gen a little after your teamate tells you they will go down or you suspect they will go down.
-
Very true, killers that can injure a ton of survivors really fast are very strong. Legion has been a force to be reckoned with for such a long time.
Also I did play a lot of twins for like a year after they released, and I am genuinly curious what is interesting about using charlotte? She is just an m1 killer with tbf boring animations, she has no unique aspect. The whole point of the twins is victor, charlotte is just there to keep the standar killer gameplay.
-
Weird, survivor players always avocate if you arent having fun you can just quit, this is just someone who was not having fun and went afk. Imo a weak minded and cringe thing to do but a lot people even on the forums say its ok, at least when survivors do it but I think they do not share the same opinion now.
If you ask me jus take the L, accept you need to get better at the game and queue another match.

I however am the opposite, I groan at the sight of a myers, ghostface, freddy, pig or any m1 killer, as for me they are the most boring thing in the game, they are easy to loop and their powers so basic you could neutralize acid with it.
But thats just prone to happen when dbd its such a big game and has so many characters and players, people are bound to like certain characters and hate other while other people might feel the opposite. Its just a normal thing.

My thoughts:
Twins-Update looks nice. It also does not look like they are weaker than before, but less clunky and should be more enjoyable to go against. Victor also still has snowballing potential, just with injures instead of Downs.
I think, overall more healthy and from my perspective also more enjoyable to play.
Haddonfield:
Will need to play on the map. But so far the changes look solid, but it all depends on how strong or weak the Windows and Tiles are now. Their track record will most likely mean the Map will be a giant deadzone, but I hope I am wrong.
Perk Udates:
DS:
Meh. Most boring change they could have done. And it will not help much. Maybe Killers will respect DS now, but honestly, they will most likely push through it. It is way too beneficial to just tunnel, even if you eat a 5 second stun instead of a 3 second stun. I think they should have added something more, stealth for some seconds (no grunts of pain, no blood, no scratchmarks) OR a big haste effect OR disable the Killers power for a certain amount of time.
But this version of DS is better, but will not do anything against tunneling. It is just a bad bandaid. (Let alone that AGAIN you will have to equip a Perk to not end the game without achieving anything on 3k BPs...)
Adrenaline:
Too hefty of a Nerf. Removing to wake up against Freddy is fine and 100% justified. Not holding Adrenaline when hooked would be a fair nerf as well, even if I am not a big fan of it. But lowering the Speedboost is rather...eh. Considering that it is a one-time use which is only granted at the end of the game and might not even have an impact when triggered (e.g. when you are outside of a chase while healthy), it should not be nerfed that hard.
Ultimate Weapon:
IMO too much of a Nerf. I think they should keep the screeming, keep the Cooldown at 30 seconds, but remove the lingering effect. So a Killer can open a locker, gets information right away and the Perk is on a Cooldown of 30 seconds.
Emblems:
THANK YOU BHVR FOR THAT ONE!!! Removing Depipping is one of the best changes ever. Removes at least a bit of frustration when it comes to bad games, depipping is just a thing of the past.
Archives:
I dont hate the 20 Tier Headstart, I will not use it anyway. But I wish they would have added infinite Rift Tiers for those who completed the Rift. Just 10k BPs per Tier in the Free Track and 100 shards or so in the Premium Track which will open once the Rift and Deep Rift are done. I always complete the Rift before or during the Release of the third tome, so for weeks I dont get anything for completing challenges or Login-Rewards. Would just be nice to give something to the very active players.
Snowball potential with injures, LMAO then legion must be a snowball monster. No, new twins have no snowball potential if the team they face has an average iq above 20. However its not like anyone played that monstruosity of a killer so idk just olay singularity he is better in every aspect and can actually snowball by slugging.
-
If you cant slug anymore with twins that means they dont have any strong aspect anymore, which is good, twins players should switch to the better version of twins called singularity. People would buy the twins because of coup, which is an amazing perk but aside from that leave them to die.

It really does not feel great to get hit through walls lol
I'd rather give him something else
That would literally take away the most interesting part of the power, is like removing curving on billy. Yes you can buff him in other ways after removing that but he would judt loose all the depth he has.
Aldo if you do not give him something really good after deleting that he is just a worse huntress/artist and he would still have to weaken survivors and hit them again. At that point just play artist who actually would reward tagging someone with cool downs trough walls by predicting movement or just play huntress who can just injure without having to tag someone.
That change would literally erase the unknowns most interesting aspect and the one who give it such a good skill ceiling. However based on some of your comments I am aware this is not an aspect that you personally value in the game so I understand why maybe this is a non issue in your opinion.

Tbf oblivious doesn't remove the red stain so you still have a heads up, and I say this without any offense to it, you can see the killer.
I personally even in soloQ do not bother to cleanse plaything. Mainly because its usually paired with pentimento, which is actually very dangerous. And secondly because just looking around tends to negate the effects of oblivious.
Of course on hawkings or other infoor maps it is way more effective but in outdoor maps oblivious should not really guarantee a sneak attack.

This literally applies to so many killers tho. How do I know billy has specific speed or overheat addons? What if spirit has power recovery ones? Is dredge using faster nightfall addons or boat key?
Playing these killers or playing against them teaches you to recognize them. Double iri on blight can be recognizable in the first chase. Egg on wesker after thr first bound pause and in general you can do it to some extend, addons like semiotic keyboard, cooldowns for power or spawing coldowns for turrets, hallucinations, crows etc and those weird ones are hard.

That's the neat part, you don't!
Spirit is just an accessibility nightmare when playing as and against, but unfortunately accessibility needs feel like they're seen as quality of life suggestions and so everything moves at a glacial pace.
I know this will sound incensitive af but what % of the whole population that plays dbd has hearing issues? Also out of those how common is it to face spirit (at least for me I havent seeen one in months).
However I must say its not only spirit that gives counterplay via audio cues so the frequency argument has a lot of merit to it.
But we have to take into account that bhvr for all it is, its a company at first and a company cannot waste resources in something that frankly will yield no difference in profits or will be so miniscule it is just a waste of labor. Hence why probably accesibility changes go so slow.
This is NOT exclusive to videogames too. For example in my field, do you know how many scientific articles/ published books have no copies in braille, or have colorblind friendly graphs? Like I think in all my life I have seen one that had one of those. Because the effort it takes for those magazines or the authors to do that absolutelly outweights the results as the people who will be benefited from said efforts are such a low %.
This is not saying its ok, it must be annoying af that due to that you have no access to whatever it is you want to partake in, and if posible we can try to mitigate it. However in the world we live in budget and costs are the rule, so doing those things is not cost efficient or simply not priority hence why it is either not done or it takes a long while.

This also counts for Spirit player as well.
If you don't have headphones you will be like 50% less effective and miss a lot of your power uses and you are very easy to juke as Survivor.
I tried to test that tho, it was a long time so prob the experiment has no weight, but I played a lot of spirit without audio, I muted the game and was listening to music or video essays. At least for me spirit was completely playable without audio as grass can tell you where a survivor is heading also short phases such as the ones you do in loops are doable without audio. However say goodbye to beelining, I tried so hard to learn it without audio but at last it was impossible for me to achieve long tracking phasing without the use of audio.
My personal conclusion, spirit is easier to play without audio than she is easier to play against without audio.

I am very sure he did not say S-Tier, but lack of counterplay. Which is 100% true for Release-Slinger.
Nah, and im not even talking about old slinger, mf thought post-nerf slinger was almost deserving of S tier, literally put him below artist, we are talking post nerf slinger, any person with eyes and ears and more than 100 hours should not get sniped by that killer ever and he is incredibly easy to beat in a swf. yes he will be a nightmare to soloq but with the quality of teamates in soloq even trapper is incredibly effective.
you can find the video on yt were he discusses why slinger may deserve S tier, he unironically almost placed him on S tier. However I want to clarify this is just something I use to poke fun at him (because its an awfull take) but I have not watched tofu recently, and seeing as he has dabbled into comp dbd probably he has more insight than he did before, so maybe eve he can see how funny that take was.

tbf that probably comes from tofu paying a lot of attention to comp and even to this day deathslinger they categorize slinger as a tier 2 killer with wesker and executioner purely because his 1v1 is good. I agree that it's a bit silly to ignore slinger's atrocious mobility but tofu's opinion isn't as out there as it might seem.
That take was wayyyy before tofu started to meddle in comp.
