Distressing - I wish they would combine Distressing and Unnerving Presence into one perk.
Dark Devotion - I wish they would drop the obsession requirement and just put it on like an 60 second timer.
Dissolution - I've never bothered with it but I don't think it would hurt to increase the time to like 4 or 5 seconds.
Furtive Chase - The only thing good about this perk is its ability to switch obsessions which can be nice for certain killer challenges or some meme builds like pairing it with Make Your Choice and Nemesis. They should double the range bonus for each token to 8 meters.
Overwhelming Presence - This one is just horrible when compared to Franklin's Demise. They could triple the penalty to 300% depletion rate when in terror radius and I would still choose Franklin's Demise over it. I think survivors just shouldn't be able to use items when in your terror radius and then add a lesser effect for the rank levels like 50/75/100% bonus bloodpoints toward something. Then it would be about equal quality to Franklin's Demise.
Septic Touch - Just need to add oblivious status effect as well and then it'd be good.
i can understand most of those changes but the dark devotion buff is to much. Last thing i wanna see is legion running around the whole trail with no TR.

two killers in 3month sound very difficult

Playing against the bots is pretty stress-free. But they avoid killer powers like its the plague. Have you tried using any ranged power on them like Pyramid Head's m2 attack or Trickster's knives? They have some great reaction time.
The bots dodge range attacks better than 80% of the playerbase when I'm playing slinger

Same! Last 2 days i been teleporting back to certain spots muplite times throughout the match. Figure it was just my connection but hearing u having the same issue got me thinking otherwise.
-
EEEEEEEEEE!
-
The perk pretty much guaranteed a hook and can even get u a snowball win. Definitely strong and i see why people feel cheated once they get hit by this.
-
I think it depends on whatever your main role is. I simply wanna win more as survivor and feel more pressure when the team falling apart to do something (which is often). Killer i feel nothing most of the time unless a swf. Beside that i feel in complete control most of the match which is kinda boring to me. I play both roles about the same amount probably killer slightly more just because i can relax.
-
People see the light go up and don't really know what to think. You can't even use it to convey information most of the time. If the light had some clear meaning than maybe it might get use more. Like the light mean the killer is in this area right now or something. Another problem is the light marker won't distinguish until u make a new one which only add to the confusion. Sometimes u won't the light gone but now u gotta make another marker when u really don't won't to.

So, do you desire for her lethality in chase to be improved?
Everybody want that. It what the community was saying after the ptb. Instead behavior did the exact opposite and buff her ability to hold a 3gen even further.
-
sorry to hear! I'm assuming u a Solo q player right? The only real counter to tunneling and those type of strategies is being in swf. SWF can protect teammates way more effectively through comms. They can break 3gens easier cause of comms, punish camping with reinsurance, and can pretty much organize picture perfect body blocks to help any tunnel survivor get away. If u want easier games play with friends. Playing solo queue is like playing on veteran difficulty unfortunately.

i don't why they do this. i just leave the lobby when that happen

swamp map definitely need some changes! it feel like a maze underneath those floorboards half the time

Don't forget when the knight guards fly through floors

So, making this basekit for M1 Killers will prevent them from getting extra chase changes, and force them to boringly trail behind a Survivor, begging for hits.
Or do you think Killers can "mindgame" most tiles? Open tiles like the center of Blood Lodge say "hello", plus standing in optimal spots with 3rd person camera as Survivor to deny any and all mindgames.
Without any kind of anti-loop, M1 Killers ARE reliant on mistakes or altruism to get things done. If Survivors know what to do, they can consistently do long chases against these Killers... which result in losses. It's why Nurse and Blight are meta.
Ts Myers is about as fun as getting gen rush. You just roll your eyes and go to the next match.
-
That way to much man. Just simply allow her to ambush a little quicker so the survivor can't always run away soon u Crouch

3000 hour player. I escape roughly 40% of my solo queue games. My kill rate is over 80%. Yes I have actually kept track in specific months. I bring strong builds on both sides but do not get the same results. Escaping in solo is significantly harder than getting a 3K or 4K.
my win rate in solo q is about 45% and my kill rate is around 75 to 80% so I'm definitely in agreement with you. I'm way more skill with survivor yet it really doesn't seem to matter most of the time. Honestly solo q just never feel fair. Thank god for swf

(slight chuckle) hehe
at least people stop crying about dead hard for a few days

The perk is only useful for interrupting things like pin head box, pig traps, and skull merchant drones. Outside of that it pretty weak.

SWFs are so unfun to play against but I wouldnt want friends to lose the ability to play together, so my idea would be bringing a CASUAL MATCHMAKING MODE and not allowing SWFs in ranked or maybe only allow up to 2 people playing together. I am not playing this game to sweat against 4 flashlights, 3 saboteurs, 2 breakdowns when I am learnign a new killer.
WHY DOES MY MMR STAY SO HIGH WHEN I JUST BOUGHT A NEW KILLER. I gave up on learning blight, because its impossible to learn such a hard killer, when I go up against survivors that are as good, as when I am playing my mains and possibly, extremely good SWFs that have already planned what to go and how to play to destroy every single killer.
I just wanna have fun man, seperate 4fun and competetive matchmaking and let me decide when I have to tryhard PLEASE
Terrible idea! Just get cook up into you learn my guy. Sorry man but the Game is full unfun stuff. Learning how to counter pinhead or any annoying killer is unfun. Pre dropping, shift w, tunneling, camping, etc....all of it not fun. Just deal with it like everyone else

mainly play wraith doc and slinger so idc

poor solo q. Had to suffer through the eruption 3gen era and now this. They just can't do them d@mn gens for anything hahaha

I mean, you're four and the killer is one. With the right strategy it can be done... it does take some coordination... you can also force the killer to chase you, maybe give him a hook if that makes you earn some time.
Spoken like someone who never play solo q. "Force them to chase u".......once u leave the 3 gen they won't chase. Even if u stay and get down in the 3 gen they won't pick up if the gens are even slightly in danger of getting finish.
-
@Saitamfed said:
Not trying to be THAT guy but, Have you tried not 3-gen yourself? It's quite easy once you've figured the trick...
ah so what the trick to make the killer leave the area when they holding a 3 gen from the start?? of course i 3 gen dumb dumb u was around them 90% of the match lol

@Tishus said:
Survivors got dejabu perk to counter that, so dont know why they are crying.
We don't need help finding the 3 gen.....we can see the killer going to each one every 15 seconds with are eyes.

@Gamall said:
Since its release, the killer has already made clear its role in this game: holding a 3gen with all her capabilities from the start of the game, defending it by continuously positioning and activating drones, refusing to kill survivors but simply chasing them away from the area to the point of exhausting them and damaging the generators with CoB/Oc. There is not a single Skull Merchant I have encountered who decides to play this way. I don't deny that it would also be a viable alternative to the classic gameplay, but since the games seem to take forever with no way out, countermeasures must be taken. Since not even a well-coordinated swf (such as that of otz and his team) can succeed in disrupting this strategy, the only way is to carry a large toolbox and combine it with a BnP, as well as equip PT.
The tooblox should only be used to repair the last generator while another survivor attempts to distract the killer in some way.
In these early days I have seen an increase in the number of survivors deciding to carry a TB, probably for this very reason. I think the devs are quietly encouraging its use at this point.
I don't think I've ever equipped a BnP since I bought the game, but if that's what the devs want, they should be accommodated, since there doesn't seem to be an alternative.
hopefully she get huge nerf to her ability to 3gen and some anit loop to replace it

drone mommy?

Drop chase, kick the gen, put up a drone, leave again, Drop chase, kick the gen, put up a drone, leave again, Drop chase, kick the gen, put up a drone, leave again, Drop chase, kick the gen, put up a drone, leave again

i love this guy! he got the dh av and everything. Just trying to trigger people hahaha

win streaks mean absolutely nothing. I won 15 games with wraith running thrill of the hunt, beast of prey, distressing, and jolt........U can go on a easy win streak with any decent killer nearly if u play as savage as possible. To many tactics that take no real skill to use in my opinion. Pre dropping, tunneling, gen rushing, camping a 3 gen, normal camping for a grab, shift w, etc. U just gotta be aware of your options in dbd (not much skill is needed). A survivor can excape every match if they wanna! through a cowardly hatch build. These things just don't take skill and never will. Mind gaming at a pallet that not super safe is skillful to me. One with a long side and a short side to be specific so pre dropping can be punish. Auto haven got plenty of these! A car with the pallet in between and short side to go around the pallet. Even if u don't have any anti loop u can win this tile. Anticipating a good nurse or Spirit take a skill. Hitting crazy shots with billy huntress or slinger take skill. The game got some skillful things here and there.
-
i think behavior did a decent job oddly enough. The drones look cool and she got amazing add ons. Her ability to force 3gens is annoying tho.

I really don't think anyone was looking forward to yet another M1 killer with zero chase potential.
All this killer can realistically do is lock down a three gen for thirty minutes and struggle to get downs on survivors until the game has stalled out for so long that there are no more pallets anywhere on the map.
I've only seen her once despite playing all day since she came out, and I hope to never see her again. This is probably the single most boring killer released in the past few years.
If you design a killer that is bad at chase and good at controlling gens, guess what everyone that plays her is going to do? It's such a snoozefest
saw some do the protect the totems build but its super inconsistent giving she have no real way to get over to them quick like demo. still i seen a few not protecting the 3gen. So i still have hope for this character

i think they will chase less now unfortunately. Eruption was incentivizing killers to chase more to proc the very strong/sometimes overpowering effect

Had a three gen against a Wesker. He had no eruption to carry him and we managed to break it. Life is good. With Eruption he would have had a guaranteed win. So glad this perk and the impossible situations where killers forced three gens from the start are gone. As killer I stayed with pain res/dms and refused to use eruption out of principle. Not something i'll miss as killer.
glad for u man

-""tunneling generators" i think u been watching one to many truetalent videos."
I've been saying it long before he ever did.
Both sides tunnel their objective when you consider efficient play. That needs to change for both sides if we are going to change the game. Tunneling for all or for no one.
"What does a killer get for hooking three different players"......the same thing u get from hooking 1 player! pressure....."
No sorry - you're wrong. One player dead means generators can now at most never be worked at 100% speed. Also the game dynamic is immediately changed because if one player is on the hook and another is being chased you have to stop what you are doing to attend to the hook. That is pressure.
agree to disagree i guess.

what Things actually take skill?
well for one! playing around a loop with a short end and a long end. This make it difficult to pre drop and allow the killers to mind game even without anti loop. The long side clearly favor the survivor and short side the killer. In my opinion these type of loops are the best for mind gaming and the most fair. The more skill player will win this loop unless the killer anti loop just force u to leave the area like the artist or knight.
Huntress and Billy take a good amount skill also

Yeah killers keep bloodlust and survivor get stamina for movement speed. That has really much to do with skill. When it comes to skill not even bloodlust should be a thing because it's also just a helper.
Survivors will have to think on their feet even more. I feel it will add a much needed degree of difficulty to some of these boring survivor playstyles.

You're one of those people that say:
Survivors tunneling generators is fine but it's not ok for killers to tunnel survivors.
What does a killer get for hooking three different players?
What does a killer get for hooking one player three times.
What does a survivor get for getting all 7 generators to 33% progress?
What does a survivor get for getting one generator to 100% progress.
If you want to address tunneling then you need to address BOTH sides.

It's nice to know that some people understand how this game actually works.
"tunneling generators" i think u been watching one to many truetalent videos kid.
"What does a killer get for hooking three different players"......the same thing u get from hooking 1 player! pressure.....
comparing tunneling a gen to tunneling out survivor is pretty silly.

As a someone who has been playing survivor a little more than killer something has to be done about these cheap tactics that killers love to defend. If you have to tunnel you’re bad and need to get better. If you hold a three gen from the start you are bad, if you camp at 5 gens ur bad. Tunneling and camping are stale strategies and killers do it for easy wins but god forbid a swf gen rushes for "easy wins" Killers are hypocritical and i’m over it. The tunneling and camping is genuinely draining the fun out of games for survivors. I haven’t even mentioned the slugging for the 4k all of this is not fun. Before anyone says "bring anti tunneling perks" The anti tunneling perks we have are trash. Ds is a joke. Otr is useless especially if you’re being tunneled bc of basekit bt once they hit you otr is gone.
i play killer slightly more than survivor and i have to agree with u. I think certain tactics and play Styles need to be nerfed across the board. pre dropping, shift w, tunneling, and camping to be specific. These things take little to no skill yet are far more effective than things that actually take skill.
i think survivors need a stamina bar which will effect their speed if fully depleted. Dropping a pallet and running for a long time should drain the bar a decent amount. This will punish pre dropping mainly and shift w a little bit. This will force survivors to micromanage their stamina while looping.
killers needs restrictions by hooks and penalties for being around them to long. Also heavy penalties for hooking the same survivor twice.
-
i actually never use eruption myself despite buying nessmiss but going against it as a survivor i always thought "could be worse". honestly this meta wasn't to bad compare to previous ones.
im in the minority clearly thinking Eruption and DH are both needed. (eruption just needed better counterplay)

why stop there. remove all survivors legs! put them in wheelchairs and make all the loops have ramps. still can spin in 360 too

trickster almost unplayable in my opinion because he's 110% but survivors definitely shouldn't be slower.
