normal hag is the most boring killer ever. Can't chase anyone and u pretty much just waiting for traps to go off. The hag literally a camper by design which is a very tedious style of playing. I prefer way more chase interaction compare to playing a positional game.
(water shoe is the only fun version of hag)

I can agree with that. If you want to discuss something, this is without a doubt the best place to do so. And the mods have done a pretty good job so far in keeping toxicity in check.
The DbD Reddit doesn't seem to have much discussion outside of patch notes and dev updates. The 'discussions' there are mostly Us vs Them posts disguised as memes, and whichever side doesn't go along with the meme is downvoted to oblivion.
Steam Discussion is insane. It's just a toxic cesspool full of the worst takes imaginable. It's everything bad about the forums amplified by a million with none of the good aspects of it.
My viewpoint have almost never been change reading a Steam Reddit or Twitter post. On the other hand plenty of dbd forum users have change my viewpoint. On steam especially conversations seem to devolve into one side saying git gud or name calling.

I just did one for the jurassic park raptors:
New Killer - The Raptor
Power - Pack Hunter
Passive Ability: The Pack - The Raptor doesn't hunt alone. Two others stalk the trial grounds on their own. If alerted by a noise notification these raptors will investigate. If a survivor comes within line of sight, they will give out an alert call and give chase for a time, inflicting damage if they come into contact.
Active Ability: Call for Help - The Raptor can themselves issue an alert call which will cause the other raptors to make their way towards their location. If a survivor is detected during this time the raptors will move faster and chase longer. This ability has a cooldown of 25 seconds.
Secondary Attack: Leap - By pressing and holding the power button, The Raptor charges a leap attack. The longer the button is held down the higher and longer the leap will go, propelling The Raptor over obstacles and dealing damage to survivors on impact.
The Raptor comes with three new perks
Clever Girl - When a survivor begins performing an action within your terror radius you gain the undetectable status effect for 15 seconds. This perk goes on cooldown for 30 seconds once the effect ends.
Rapid Pursuit - You no longer gain bloodlust. Whenever a survivor performs a rushed action within 10 meters of you, increase the speed of your vault and breaking actions by 50%. This perk goes on cooldown for 30 seconds after performing a vault or break action.
Test for Weaknesses - Any time you lose chase with a survivor, you see the aura of the nearest other survivor for 6 seconds.i love the thought of dinosaur running around in dbb🤣. Could be a cool game mode for a Jurassic Park chapter. I love the leep ability!! I imagine it as a chucky type charge since u can go over obstacles like pallets. Dashing over pallets into hit would be quite strong anti loop. I guess my only question is what the movement speed of these other Raptors.
I would definitely change the last perk.
clever girl just passive undetectable which is alright. Don't have to do much for it but 15 sec not that long. Could be good
Test for weakness would be kinda broken on the wraith. It might be just to strong in general...then again No where & weave still exist so maybe it ok. Hard to say

"into certain playstyles/killers they dont enjoy"
And that happens every 3rd round? Thats the amount of time i see people ragequit (or give up). And im terrible with math but even i know when every 3rd game in MY games something like this happens it must mean it happens a hella lot to other people too. I am not magically attracting ragequitters into my lobby no matter what side i play, i dont believe that.
And for how frequent it is, i dont believe its just some niche scenarios, its some basic gameplay elements the people have issiues with (and rightfully so at times i'd say) but instead of quiting when they dont enjoy it, they still play, still get angry, still flame the other players for playing effective, while they themselves made it for the opponent even easyer by their action. But they dont care if they ruin the fun for their teammates or opponent, they just demand that their own fun is respected, while they themselves dont respect their own fun and time by booting up a game they quit over every little incident that they dont like."And that happens every 3rd round? That about the rate i see player DCs/suicides when i play as well. I don't agree about unfun playstyles being niche but we can agree it no reason to quit. Players have gotta away with this for far to long. The problem is survivors will throw game regardless so they need to solve the actual issues of why survivors giving up.

"Again, if people dont enjoy the game, why boot it up???"
you assuming players don't like this game because they quit which is WRONG. Players boot up the game hoping to have fun and end up running into certain playstyles/killers they don't like. The devs have allow survivors to escape through this 4% loophole for years without addressing it. Probably because they know survivors will just give up in other ways. No need to theory craft... it's obvious why survivors give up more. It's because they don't win a lot in solo queue that it. No mental gymnastics needed. T

He got the chucky treatment. He feel more fair but definitely nerf. The devs did a better job than what I initially thought.
He feel smother to play because of the guards switching and the power cancelling option which can allow u to mind game survivor trying to flee a loop. His map pressure is weaker overall. The guards chase for more time the longer the patrol path buttttttttt the flags spawn quicker so survivor can just double back easier. So that whole buff is pretty much cancel out. Weaker anti loop and slightly weaker map pressure.

Scratch marks are meant to be imperfect, so that the killer can be misled by clever pathing and won't be led to the survivor perfectly each time. That mechanic shouldn't be changed. The current scratch marks can be misleading without the survivors doing anything. It like everyone running around with basekit lightweight

Just to point this out your wrong Peanits confirmed you don't need to draw a 10 meter path to summon Carnifix or a guard to break a pallet you have to draw a 10 meter path to get guards to hunt only breaking stuff does not follow this rule.
Which is why im saying Carnifix pallet break will be meta now that double chase is gone you summon Carnifix when they drop pallet Carnifix breaks it in 1.3 seconds Survs cant make it to another loop in 1 sec i get a guaranteed hit Repeat
You must preemptively gobgg into your power before the survivor even drop the pallet to then break the pallet for a free hit so u always in 50/50. Will they greet it or will they not.
You can't wait for the survivor to drop, then go into your power and break because they will make it to next loop.
Am i missing something here? If the Survivor great and baits you into carnifix want u have to draw a 10m path? there nothing to break

But i can make it worse SCAMPER KNIGHT uses only Carnifix anytime a survivor drops a pallet use carni to break the pallet in 1.3 seconds get a guaranteed hit carni goes on reduced cooldown for a 5 Seconds repeat
knight pallet breaking strat is a 50/50 while scamper was just free. chucky just had to stand by the pallet and wait for the drop. If knight go into his power and the survivor greet than it over. Survivors will be able to completely leave the loop and u must make a 10m path with carnifix. This is way more of risk compare to scamper or mage hand. Definitely gonna crush weaker players who will always drop the pallet for sure. Players will learn to greet more and treat him like huntress/nessmiss.

I'm not even exaggerating when I say this week of DbD has been some of the most exhausting and frustrating matches ever. Are there good games in the mix? Sure. Whether BHVR counts those matches or not for their stats has nothing to do with the in game rewards and winning conditions.
And yet he refuses to count games where a survivor DCs or dies too quickly, even though the game also has respective rewards for every outcome. So this excuse is also inconsistent. Once again: counting favorable outcomes even if you have to apply mental gymnastics to justify it, while not counting unfavorable ones even if you have to come up with excuses why not. Clear data manipulation.
One makes you a bad teammate, the other doesn't.
If a survivor sees 2 of their teammates hiding in bushes and decides to go next, it's not the one going next who is a bad teammate. If you have 2 useless teammates, the game is doomed whether one of you suicides or not. But yes, if your goal is to "prove" that ridiculous number of 65% by any means, you could discard such results in order to boost the result to the intended favor, the excuse you have to use in this case does not even seem that absurd! Convenient.
64.8% escape rate
I can prove it being 100%, I will just have to use a little more absurd excuses for why I had to discard every game that didn't end in 4out, and also why I counted every 1k as a 0k (because obviously the killer just tunneled or camped the poor guy, so it doesn't count!), and maybe even how I counted every survivor DC as an escape, because technically the survivor escaped his faith by leaving the game! As you can see, this method is quite versatile.
You are not proving me wrong, you are confirming my points.
Yup, if you discard every point where I prove you wrong, then indeed, my agreement rate for your takes is 64.8%.
I watch both of his 6 hours streams from 2 weeks ago when he did the experiment. To my shock he actually legit got a 60% rate without cherry picking much at all. He didn't count one suicide game but that about it unless i miss one. Also had a killer DC but i think the survivors was winning enough to count it. This guy can have nearly 50 normal matches but i can't go 3 without someone dc-ing/killing themselves on hook (NA west)

The reason why SoloQ is in that state is because of survivors themselves. Not matchmaking, not balancing, not how killers play, just themselves.
Average survivors with low game sense (specially not making the right decision at the right time) and not playing as a team (including bringing perks that only benefit them and not even help progressing the true objective, that is doing gens) is what make most SoloQ games a true hell to play. Then, instead of trying to get and do better, they complain about the "40% average escape rate" and how the game is killer sided without understanding what an average means or that they are most likely in the lower half of it.
Coincidentally, Hens just uploaded a video today about the topic:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je3AQGuG2C8&ab_channel=Hens
Who would have thought that if you are good at the game, have good game sense, and try to play as a team (which is the main strength of survivors, being 4 vs 1) would make you and your team mates win more games?
didn't count any dc's and early hook suicides. lol even this comp player gotta cherry pick his games so his win record wont tank. Gotta make the vib look good....not mad. Just not accurate solo q experience

Pallet breaking is the only thing I see that will be useful on Knight now. Because of this, I see no real reason to ever use jailer or assassin over the Carnifex. Carnifex will be the only used Gurad I feel going forward just to break pallets in mid chase after the survivor drops it. Then when that happens ppl complain about it since it similar to Mage Hand and old chucky where it will always get you a hit.
Yeah i can see survivors complaining about that as well. Still way less frustrating than the last version of the knight so they made let it be. I think assassin will still be useful. He like the only guard with a slight chance of getting a hit.
Side note: knight expose irl might be useable now that you can just pick carnifex every single time to be the fourth guard summon. break the pallet into a instant down maybe? i might be huffing copium tho

Yeah I agree. The pincer play style at a loop was unhealthy game play and needed to go. However he needed to be buffed in his healthier play style of long distance guard placements to compensate, which he didn't get to any degree that's actually relevant.
agree he need some sort of buff! Any ideas how? With call to arms he can pressure far way survivors decently well so i not sure what need to be buff other than the guards themselves.
-
knight changes are great as a survivor. Dropping guards to zone was mindless and two killers chasing was extremely hard to avoid. As a knight player tho....that boi got cook🤣. He kinda don't have anti loop anymore. what u gonna do place a guard on a 10m path mid chase? so the survivor can be long gone with a guard on there tail who won't get a hit. His sandwich Survivor style chasing need a nerf but the guards need more lethality. His time to down will be much longer now as a m1 killer and he wasn't exactly that fast at downing before this. Pallet breaking knight might be his go to build now idk.
-
perks & killers are more well balance these days yet solo q continue to feel unrewarding. It's a legit wasteland of suicides and DC's. I'm not blaming the devs for the community behavior in game but something need to be done about it. It's like you have to swf to even play this role competitively now or just lose all day in solo q because of blank (Tunneling,Suicide,Matchmaking)

I'm….very uncertain of whether or not this is legitimate or bait. Like this HAS to be 100% ironic.
Why say GG when you resort, or resorted to the big three…? And then wonder why survivors aren't so "sportsmanlike" in return?
It's almost like you used a 'Tactic' of the game that's generally considered (And OFTEN DEBATED) a scummy way to play and then expected to be treated like a good sport? And then slapped them on hook while nodding your head…?
?????It just salt farmer. Even some dbd streamers make a living off it. They will play in a unfun way, say gg in end game, than make a YouTube vib out of it when the response is negative.

100%
It's like that in many online games but dbd especially. Side note! it really hard to respect a gg in this game sometimes because how skill-less wins can appear. This game is all about positioning. Breaking middle gens making patrolling the map impossible, standing close by hooks to camp/tunnel, etc. it almost feel like it's too easy to rush your objective in this game sometimes and just feel extremely cheesy.
Looping & chasing test your reflexes, anticipation, and map knowledge which if far more interesting. To bad many matches are just players playing boring

It's just math.
16 hook states x 40% escape rate x 4 (SWF) = 2560% escape rate.
It takes at least 10 seconds to hook a survivor and 45 seconds minimum PER HIT x 4 (SWF) x 16 hooks / 60 minutes = 30 hours to play for 16 hooks against a top MMR SWF.
The problem? The average MMR day/night cycle is 24 hours. 24-30 x 4 (SWF) = -24 hours. Because they're on comms, they're a day ahead of killers. It's math.

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/417805/why-is-blight-so-hated
Survivors arent complaining because of how much skill a killer takes. They care that there is meaningful ways to express their skill vs killers. A survivor doesnt care if they get hit by a 360 no scope 420 moonrush J flick blight. If there is 0 counterplay or ways the survivor can play and win in chase the killer sucks to play verse. Just because a killer is harder to master, does not mean that there shouldn't be counterplay.
Saying things like looping is a universal skill and that it is the easiest thing in the game is really disingenuous as well. Anybody at the average or better player level clearly knows that every single killer requires practice to play against. While there are certain skills that can transfer, if you play vs blight the same way you play versus huntress you aren't going to get good results. The learning curve to become a good survivor is thousands of hours. Aint nobody below 3k hours of survivor gameplay alone plays survivor well. blights learning curve is/was less than that. A person could 4k every game with blight with 500 hours of blight games easy.
All this said, he was the easiest killer to win with for years. That's very much so a good reason to hate him. Yes, he might have takes a commitment of games to learn, but once you get the basics down on blight it was pretty ######### hard not to 4k at 3-4 gens every single game. Its the equivalent of playing in a swf with for bnps/dh/ds/etc. It was, for a long time, just the easiest way to win and people don't really respect that.

There is no recent hate of SWF, people have hated facing SWF since its creation. People also don't think every SWF they face is "squad". People tend to strawman that a lot. Against SWF, even a casual one, it's not a fair game.

That doesn't work, because the devs made it very clear that different killers can perform differently in different MMR levels. This especially won't work if the plan was to balance it around 6,000+ hour competitive DBD tier lists, which affects like 0.0001% of the playerbase. The vast majority of the players are average MMR, and they need to be considered.
I didn't read the comments of his vib but i would be shock if anybody thought it could work.
