    Agreed! I really hope they change them back, It looks awful. ;-;

Or just give her normal physics like Meg. I'm pretty sure this was not what they envisioned. Also, maybe this should be moved to the bugs section or something (I know it's not a "bug", but a glitch), so it won't get buried? @Peanits ?

Oh I really LOVE that one. Can I please requote you every time a survivor main cries for changes?
Like "camping" and they refuse to do gens. Because that is no "fun" and it's "unfair" and they still refuse to change their behavior and keep feeding the trolls/camper instead, but keep complaining.

Of course you can requote it. I love how you're looking for a "fight" XD But unlike you, I'm not biased. This goes for both sides. If people playing survivor complains about silly stuff, then what I said is completely relevant for them as well. There's a lot of bad survivors, and they too need to practise and learn from their mistakes.

I do understand why people complain about camping though. I don't really care about it myself, it's up to the killer.. If he wants to stare at my face while I'm on the hook, sure, go ahead. I'm just going to move on and hope I'll have more fun in the next game. Luckily when I play survivor I only encounter campers in the lower ranks by more inexperienced killers right after rank reset. Even if I don't really care much about it, I don't think being facecamped is a fun and riveting gaming experience, and I can't imagine it being very much fun for the killer either just standing there. And the rest of the team won't have a very fun game either, since they just have to sit on a gen for a few minutes and then run out. I don't know about you, but I usually play games to have fun. If you think facecamping is fun, then great, and good for you.

So you are with me on this?
    Survivor make camping viable?

Only because they're bored out of their mind, or they don't know any better. I am in no way defending facecamping, because it is - you guessed it - boring. And like I said, I can't imagine it being exciting for the killer either, so I don't really understand why someone would do it. And I definitely do not agree with people who claim they are "forced" to camp. No one is holding a gun to your head. I do understand camping at certain points, like if all gens are done and the killer wants to secure his kill or something. I have no clue why people would camp their first survivor while all the gens are up, unless they get their kick out of boring other people just because they can..

You are aware that "facecamping" doesn't exist anymore?

And survivor "force" me to camp, when they do bad baits, running towards the hook in the plain open, hide badly nearby or just swarm the hook or hook rush aka playing overaltruistic.
I hope you get the picture here.

Patrolling the hook is not the same as facecamping though. I'm fine with the killer running around the hook when he knows or have seen there's someone there. If survivors swarm the hook the minute you've hooked one of them, then yes, they are not very smart and I would not fault you for staying there and chasing them in the area. This is not what I was referring to. I'm talking about killers just standing close to the hook, even when there are no survivors around, because he thinks this is a good tactic. In this scenario, the best thing to do for survivors is to do gens - but it's boring as hell, and I hate when this happens. Killers who do this will also never get better at the game, and never learn to find, chase and mindgame survivors properly because they just stand still for most of the game.

I am aware that there's this silly discussion about semantics when it comes to the term "facecamping", but when I say facecamping I mean the killer standing close to the hook, "in the survivor's face", with no intention of moving away, regardless if survivors are around or not. If you call that something else: fine, it doesn't really matter to me what you call it, because that is besides the point :)

Actually we (killer) do not need to "learn to find new targets" when we camp, because the survivor will come to "us" (killer/camper).
That's the main point I am talking about. Survivor make camping viable.
Second point is -in case you think by now that I always camp, no matter what- I want to keep the OPTION to camp if I see it needed or beneficial.
That's why I always argue against ANY "punishments to camper". I don't want to get forced to play like the survivors want me to.
Any general mechanic against camping is just bad gamedesign, because at that point we could start making AI killer, that act according to all the made up rules of knightly sportsmanship.

No, you're right, you don't NEED to do anything. You can play exactly how you want. If you find fun in standing around, by all means, do that. But standing around waiting for people to show up doesn't sound much fun to me, and it doesn't sound skillful either, but that's just my opinion. And like I said, it's not fun for the survivors to sit on a gen for the entire game and then run out, so I do understand why they try to come and save even if the killer is standing there waiting for them to come, and even if they risk throwing the whole game. I mean, it's going to be over in a short time anyway, after sitting on gens all game, which doesn't really reward a lot of bloodpoints or pips. I guess we just have to agree to disagree on this matter, as I'd rather go around trying to find different targets and practise chasing and mindgaming as a killer, and actually have an action filled match. Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose.

You say camping is viable, and that is because sitting on a gen is boring. Most people play games to have fun, it's really as simple as that. It's not about "forcing" you to play a certain way.

Oh, and I'm not sure what I've said to come across like I think you always camp no matter what...I'm sure you don't. At this point I think you just want an argument or something(?), even though I've tried to have a respectful discussion without putting words into your mouth etc.

  • I just love how we never get away from the whole survivor main "insult" when a killer main doesn't complain about everything. There are plenty of good killers who do well in this game. Guess what? It's because they practised, learned from their mistakes and tried to do things differently when things didn't go their way. For instance, there are many streamers to choose from, who are doing very well, without complaining about everything. Maybe look some of them up, watch their stream and learn something? Or just continue to complain because that's easier. The fact that there are good killers around is proof that everyone can learn and get better. And if you get completely wrecked by a survivor, then guess what? That person was better than you. No shame in that. Unless you're a godlike gamer, you're not going to win every time. The best player will win. Sure, there are lots of problems and unbalanced things in this game, but it is not unplayable, and the game is currently in the best state it's ever been.

  • Small game! Dem bold points XD
Plus, I've found a massive increase in NOED killers lately, so it's become quite useful to me as I'm not a hardcore player who's memorized every single totem spawn in every single map.

@skvirl Are you new to internet debates? For real, calling someone "coward" just because he refuse to talk to someone? Some people are stubborn and impervious to logic and reason, after the Xth time explaining the same things to them, you just talk "around them". You can't hinder them to participate in a debate you are in also, but you can refuse to interact with them directly without leaving their nonsensical statements unresponded.

He's completely free to not interact with someone. If you read my comment without putting words into my mouth or twisting it to fit your narrative, you'd see that I'm calling him a coward because he is talking about someone to other people, like this someone is not there. This is called rude, childish and cowardly behaviour. If @Orion disagrees with someone, he is free to do so. He is also free to ignore whoever he wants. What I find silly is that he feels the need to tell everyone how he's ignoring this person because he wants more people to join his cause. If he acted like an adult, he would just ignore and not try to gather more people to his "crusade" or whatever it is he's doing.. If I don't like someone, I will ACTUALLY ignore them, and not bring them up and call attention to how I'm ignoring them any chance I get. You know, like an adult.

The last part of your comment describes pretty accurately how you act on this forum. You can't be talked around either, you just turn to memes every chance you get. It's pretty obvious what you're doing, and I'm not really falling for the bait. Have fun.

Go find those examples of me talking about it, please. I have almost 5000 posts, so there should be a lot of them, if your complaints are to be believed. Go prove yourself right, show me the percentage.

What? How old are you?! You sound like a petulant child. I never talked about percentage, what are you on about? You've talked about this several times, in several threads. Also, you just admitted, in this very thread, you've said it several times. Why do I need to find these posts? I mean, I would if I had to, but like I said, you just said I was right. Or are you going back on it?

    Are you trolling?

I said I've said it "a few times", you said I do it "so many times [you]'ve noticed a pattern". So no, I didn't say you were right. Hell, you even said that I say it to "everyone" and try to get people to do the same. I mentioned it to @Malakir after he came to the same conclusion, and not before. I was agreeing with @Malakir; not trying to influence his opinion.
I don't even mention the person you're talking about (or any other person I ignore, in fact) by name. This is in contrast to you and the guy you're defending, among others, who will actively try to influence people against me.

Semantics again? Okay. Seeing as I've noticed you doing it, there is a pattern. You have done it several times. Yes you are right, you haven't said it to EVERYONE, that would be kind of impossible, so yes you are right. You have however said it to several people, as you are well aware of yourself. I have noticed this by just hanging out on this forum. What I've seen here in this thread is not your worst, you usually say things like "this is why I ignore him", "I just ignore people like him" etc etc., and chiming in and telling people about how you just ignore him when they disagree with him, and by doing this you are drawing attention to him, and influencing more people to do what you do. I just don't understand the need for the whole pitchfork thing. I mean, for a person who's trying to act smarter than everyone else on this forum you act pretty childish sometimes. If you don't like someone, ignore them. Stop talking to or about them. It's very simple.

I'll leave you guys to it now.

I didn't state my reasons for ignoring him, and yes, the OP seemed unaware of what density was, given his statement about pallets.

I've seen you in COUNTLESS threads stating that you ignore him. How about you stop talking about it and actually do it?

He never said he didn't know what density is. You just decided to be overly condescending. Again, I've seen you do this to people in countless threads as well. It's pretty unappealing.

Countless? I'll admit I've said it a few times, but I think I only said it to him once. Ignoring doesn't mean you don't talk about the person; it means you don't talk with the person. There's a big difference.

No, he didn't say he didn't know what density was, but he was behaving as if the concept was foreign to him, since he equated pallet redistribution (i.e.: pallet density becoming more homogeneous) with a decrease in the number of pallets.

You have said it so many times I've noticed a pattern, and it's getting pretty old. You can argue semantics all you want, it still doesn't take away from your rude behaviour where you tell everyone about how you ignore someone and act like everyone else should too, whilst talking about the person like he/she is not there. Do you not see yourself? Acting high and mighty, talking about people but not to them. Cowardly behaviour.

He wasn't "behaving" in any sort of way. I read the comments too, and he thought there were less pallets. Then you said there weren't less pallets, they were only distributed differently...and from there you assumed he didn't know what density was.

Also, sorry to OP about derailing. I just needed to comment on this, because some people's behaviour on the forum is getting ridiculous.

And here we are again, Orion telling the world how he ignores people on this forum because he disagrees with them. If you ignore them, you wouldn't be talking about them.

Pearls of wisdom - like your comment about your "knowledge of density"! I actually laughed out loud at that one! The way you phrase it is like it's some kind of foreign and hard to grasp concept only reserved for highly intellectual people XD I like how you always try to make your knowledge about simple things seem like complicated science to make yourself look smarter :D I deal with people like this every day, and see right through it XD

first he straw man my whole argument and Orion was right about it since other posts are kinda the same by this guy

Second, I that density concept so hard? I mean, if I eexplain it in the same way to a 13yo he/she would get it. Its not neuroscience or talking about quantums or whatever

I have no idea what you're trying to say here... sorry.

I think you might need to remove your tin foil hat now XD

I don't need to "support" him, I'm reading your comment, then saw you were wrong, and decided to tell you this. Also what's with the "no matter what"? Where do you come up with this? Contrary to many people on this forum, I don't blindly support someone because of who they are, but for what they say and do. In this instance, he is right and you are wrong. He is not a survivor main. What is your problem?

Also, why won't you answer people's question about how you think instasaw is fair/balanced? You stated your opinion about it, but then refuse to elaborate to further discuss the topic..

    Just what I expected.
Go to your echochamber, with your survivor buddies and tell each other how smart you guys are.
This is like playing chess with a pidgeon.

???? I just said I enjoy this, I think you're completely wrong and delusional but I am looking to have a genuine argument.
Speaking of echo chambers, you've been unironically implying that survivors are still overpowered, that is not true. The weaker killers are underpowered and some maps have been poorly designed, this does not make survivors OP.
You still havent told me how instasaw is balanced or fair.

...and he won't, because he can't.

Is there anything else you can contribute to this?
This is just a sad attempt to provoke and harass.
If you can't bring more to the table, feel free to just be quiet.

It's not harassment nor provocation. Stop playing the victim card and practice what you preach. All you have done here is derail a thread because you think instasaw nerf would make Billy less viable, which is complete nonsense and wroooooong.

You are specifically targeting me with no real context of your posts… that is pretty much teh definition of harassment. So better hold your horses.
You call me biased, but you are even worse than me.

Stop replying to me then. Stop speaking about me without quoting or @'ing me. Stop being passive aggressive and then playing victim.

Now, why is instasaw fair/balanced? Try if you can, to add to the conversation instead of bringing up survivors or memes or whatever else -.-

    Hold my horses.. please.

I actually already try to ignore you, but YOU are @'ing me all the time and directly ask questions to me!
I have no interest in talking to you, but you press me to defend myself with constant personal attacks.
Your opinion is written in stone anyway, that's why I do try to avoid debating with you.
I am only answering every now and than, so that your nonsenses doesn't stand there unopposed, like it is true or a fact (which 99% of your talk is not).

Are you serious? I've seen you in several threads, all you do is pull out your memes and calling people survivor mains, even if they state they are killer mains -it doesn't matter to you, you'll call anyone a survivor main as long as they don't share your views. When someone calls you out, like here, you play the victim card. I hope the mods can see you for what you are.

If someone is constantly asking for killer nerfs, but at the same time is claiming to be a killer main… sorry, but that is way to obvious.
I know, people don't like getting caught lying, but it is what it is.

Yeah you really proved everything there (sarcasm btw). "He disagrees with me, so he must be a survivor main". Just, stop. It's enough now. I'm so tired of people derailing threads because they don't understand that yes, it IS possible to be a killer main and not moan about EVERYTHING all the time. There are plenty of good killers who thinks instasaw is ridiculous, believe it or not. People have told you this in this very thread. Yet you refuse to listen, and instead claim OTHER people's opinions are set in stone. Seriously, do you not see how you come across at all?

Oh, and I happen to know biggs is a killer main, and that he plays Billy a lot. I mostly play survivor, and have faced him many times (he usually kicks my butt). Guess that doesn't matter though, as you seem to have made up your mind. I don't really care. I just felt the need to tell you how silly you sound when you tell other people they're not contributing to the thread, yet here you are, throwing memes around. Good job.

There are a few people on the forum whose comments and opinions you can safely ignore without missing out on anything relevant.

I'm sorry, what were you saying?

4 DS, Insta Heal, 2 flashlights, 3 Adrenaline, DH, big spins lol... You get the idea. Oh, 3 gens left btw. 90% of my games end this way. Try again.

I can't believe u ran 2 addons that slow u down when uncloaked. I have to say it seems there is a big difference between regions. Like for example NA seems to be full of very low skilled high ranked survivors - that's based on some streams I watch. And for me for example in Europe just don't look that way even at rank 10 for my wraith. It it just extremely hard to 4k on wraith.Ofc there are always exceptions where u ######### on survivors if you find the weak link first. Vs a party I had once all totems cleared in a single match. One of them was running that perk to find them easier and my Noed didn't even activate. After that I started avoiding groups more often

Those addons give insane speed and map pressure.

There is no difference in region you silly fool, LOL. (don't mean to be rude) There is differing skill across all ranks and all regions, that's it.

It's not extremely hard to 4k with ANY killer.

Yes, there is you fool (don't mean to be rude) . I just gave you an example. It is normal there to be a difference. It is something extremely common for multiplayer games. You can check the most popular online games like lol or WoW for example ... in WoW - where EU dominates over NA for years now, or in LOL where Korea dominates for years over any other region. It is just that ppl in different regions are more skilled in certain games in general. Even in CS:GO / LOL/ where C9 where I think the first NA team to ever win a major just this year.
And of course in DBD there is this silly reset every month that cause even more troubles.

You are talking about different games though. Look...it's nonsense. You can't just say, "oh but it's true" and have everyone believe you thinking that what you said was an example. It wasn't.

With that out the way, I'll say this.. I'm an EU killer, with EU survivors, so by your insane logic, in the real example I gave in the screen shot, I am a wizard and the very best. You see how stupid that is you maniac?

    LOL

You are not a wizard, it is called puberty. Sadly I have to inform you that my experience is entirely on PC which has nothing to do with your experience on XBOX. The player base on xbox seems to be extremely small compared to the PC one which is 30k up to 60k/that was during the free week/. I am sorry but playing against the same players often doesn't make you even a good killer - it just mean you can adapt. If you haven't played on PC you just have no idea what is it and your opinion is just missleading cause of the lack of experience on the most played platform.
Also I can just say "oh but it's true" because I say that based on my experience in the game. It is what I see while playing, that is my opinion.
As I said all these games I mentioned are online games - DBD is also an online game. What the game is about doesn't matter. The fact is a fact - there are AWAYS regions that dominates over others. I just gave you an example with Wow and LOL because everyone knows these games and it is easy to understand and make the logical conclusion. I guess if you try again maybe ... no ?

    I knew this was coming.

"Oh, it's more difficult in EU"
"Well, I'm an EU killer, playing against EU survivors"
    ....
"Well, you play on xbox!" (like this is an argument)

Stop grasping at straws. It doesn't matter what people say to you it seems, you'll just find some silly way to
    try and devalue their opinions.

Oh, and saying something's true because that's your experience....sorry, try again. In my experience going to the dentist is completely fine and it never hurts. I know some people have a completely different experience when it comes to visiting the dentist. You see what I mean? Oh, and you claim something is true because it's something you see when you play, it's your opinion. Yeah, that is not the definition of a fact. Facts are NOT the same thing as opinions.

I'll end my comment by using your own logic against you: I find it funny that you try to explain how things are on console when you have no idea what you're talking about, since you play exclusively on PC.

It just one person I was arguing with here - there is no people. Don't assume things based on one conversation.
You can search across the dbd forums about the player base on different platforms. You can easly find on this forum reports from people who play on PS4 for example and they confirm my experience on PC - they had a much easier time on the console compared to the PC. My facts are based on my time spend in the game , they are facts for me if they are true for me. And they are. Opinion is when you say it is really easy to be a monster on a platform /with how many - 2 to 3 k player base ?/ and then then apply that to all platforms. Going to the dentist may not hurt for you and that is a fact for you beause it is true and you experienced it on your own. I've spend enough time watching games across different regions like NA where I can't play, reading TONS of reports across here, reddit and other places where people report similar things. Saying it is just me is not true.
I don't need to have an idea how things on are xbox when - first the player base is 10-15 times smaller and for me that makes it not a realiable sourse anyway BUT even if it is, let say we can use it - still you can't apply that to another platform - you just can't. You just can't Ez 4k wraith, god like 90% of time - I call that bullshit

    Oh my, where to start.

As a person with a scientific background and a scientific education, and an above average knowledge about the difference between experience, hypothesis, theory, opinion and fact, I find it disturbing to read lines like "my facts" and "your facts". A fact is something that is consistent with objective reality.

Here's a fact for you: you're wrong. There are no such things as "your facts" and "my facts". A fact is something that is true for everyone.

No, "going to the dentist never hurts" can not be considered a fact, even if that is my experience. I would never claim that it is. Let's do another example... If I've never been in a car accident and never had any bad experiences with driving, I still can't say "driving is completely safe". This is not a fact, because we know a lot of people are involved in car accidents. Yet, according to your logic I could say that driving a car is completely safe, and claim that this is a fact, MY fact, because I've never had a bad experience with driving. You see how you can't have your own facts? If they're only "true" to some people and not all, then they are not facts. They are opinions and/or experiences.

If, however, I were to say "I hate going to the dentist", THIS would be a fact (unless I was lying). A fact about me. And it would be true regardless of other people's feelings/experiences/opinions. I think this was kinda where you were trying to go (?), but you did it incorrectly.

I'm probably derailing the thread here (sorry to OP), but people who state their opinions as facts is a massive pet peeve for me. Because other people might think these opinions ARE facts, and treat them as such, which is how people end up being misinformed. If you would have said "in my opinion, this and that...." I'd be completely fine with that, but you're not doing that. You're stating opinions/experience as facts, and it makes me cringe.

Oh, and I, like others have stated here, also have friends who started out playing DbD on console and then switched over to PC and did way better there (and this is in EU, so you can't claim this is because of region etc etc etc etc....). They thought it was a LOT harder to play the game on console. And I too have seen Diatech get spun as a killer when he was streaming his console games when the Pig came out, and like Biggs said, he usually doesn't get spun. So your "fact" about PC being way harder than console is not a fact. It's your (and probably many others') opinion. Which is fine.

Try playing killer with a controller. Do you think you'd do better than with a mouse and keyboard? I'm pretty sure a lot of console killers would have a great time switching over to PC, as I've heard it feels way easier than on console. This is however, things I've heard and seen, and I am in no way stating them as facts. Just offering my view on the matter. Maybe you should do the same.

With the amount of time it takes to get new content to console in the size of a patch like that it takes too much time. I understand your rant and point of view, but it's just so much easier to test out new content for bugs and potential fixes on PC. Maybe you should join the PC world and come play with us ;) Then you don't have to worry about Ochido

I’m waiting to get him in my Lobby, so I can Nurse his ass. No luck so far :(

I don't care for him as much as the next guy, but judging by your gameplay, he'll embarrass you.

    Good luck.

    My Nurse is not Clown.

Wow. 4 dumb survivors, Omega blink, Ruin, Make You Choice . Such skill.

  • Small game. I love to fondle totems, yet am too lazy to actively search for them. Also it helps me against trapper, since I always step in his most stupid and obvious traps out in the open. Oh wait, I still step in them, because "ooooh, totem!"

Also I sometimes use kindred, especially after rank reset, because I've died too many times on the first hook due to what I'm going to assume are new survivors crouching around and being too scared to come help....even when the killer is not even remotely near me.

There are lots of things in the game that are unbalanced, a whole bunch of it... but there's also a lot of things that can be countered for if you're a good killer. I've seen it. But, I guess I'm just wrong or blind, right? I guess it's easier to just say nothing can be done about these things.

You're asking me to defend an argument I didn't make so I guess I don't really have anything to say here aside from, if you can watch that video and see anything other than killer bullying we're at an impasse that cannot be crossed. People have conceded that he could have played better but it would not have mattered. At all.

Everything after the "bottom line" bit was directed at the people who start threads like this and have already made up their mind about things. Sorry about the confusion.

It's funny you say that, when most of the better players of this game share the same views as me.

You're basing that statement on what? It's certainly not the experience I've had on this board, the steam board, or reddit.

Probably because people who complain about things are the ones who "scream" loudest, and it creates the illusion that this is how most people feel. I see a trend here, it's the same handful of people who post threads like this, every time, and they all agree with each other and refuse to listen to suggestions from others. It's always "no, it doesn't work", no matter what people say. Take flashlights for instance: if they couldn't be countered, why do killers not having issues with them exist? And before anyone starts claiming these killers play at low ranks etc: no, there are plenty of killers who play in the red ranks who never complain about flashlights and who play around them, time after time after time. I've seen it on several streams, with my own eyes. But nope, "it doesn't work". Well then, I don't know what to tell you guys.

Bottom line, what I see is that lots of people refuse to be open minded and learn from others. They post threads but don't want anyone to disagree, and they've made up their mind beforehand. Well, then there's no point in making a discussion thread about it then, is it? Because there's apparently nothing to discuss.

There are lots of things in the game that are unbalanced, a whole bunch of it... but there's also a lot of things that can be countered for if you're a good killer. I've seen it. You really don't gotta' play nurse. She's the best at countering looping because she can just blink through pallets and walls, but by no means do you have to play her to do well. With some practice, you can be just as effective with most killers.

    Except wraith/Freddy. That's hard mode.

I did it! I reached rank 1 playing Freddy only.

It really is possible to play any killer on high ranks.

    Any new challenges?

    Eh...
Nurse without blinks? Dark Souls Super Ultra Hard Mode

I actually played against a no-blink nurse. She vaulted through windows.
    Vaulted. Through. Windows.
She also had the 3 blink addons. I thought "nice meme", and messaged the guy. It turned out he wasn't meme'ing at all, and he blamed his failure on him not maining nurse.

    xD

    [BAD WORD] Trapper.

I'm a trap magnet. I'll step in all the stupid obvious traps out in the open, like a blind moron, even when running small game ("oooh, a totem!" Snap). It should probably annoy me more, but I just can't help but laugh at myself and how stupid I can be when it comes to his traps. So I kinda like facing him.

Doctor. Because he's just a walking radar, so it takes less skill for him to find people..I mean, in so many situations him finding you is based on if you scream or not (yay, RNG!). Do you like to play just a teeny tiny bit stealthy, or prefer to break chases by outplaying and then hiding? Tough luck, you'll scream at random, giving yourself away. Wow, much skill. And then there's the obnoxious 3-gen strat and build which some docs like to run. It just stretches the game time to infinity and beyond, without him necessarily getting more kills. It's extremely boring.

There are ways how to stealth against doc too, its just a bit more difficult and doesnt work all the time

Yes, you are right, and I am aware of several methods to stealth him. But, like you said it doesn't work all the time, and a lot of these times I feel it comes down to RNG, which I'm not a fan of (of course this doesn't mean that I sometimes mess up as well!). In my opinion, doc is a pain in the butt! xD

  • Aside from self care, which I'm assuming most people run anyway, I really like iron will. It makes me able to break chase and hide more easily when I've been hit, and it's saved me so many times. Other perks I almost always use are WGLF, because points, and small game purely because it's fun and I like to rub totems. When I play solo I sometimes use kindred, especially when I'm in the lower ranks, to show new and/or immersed players that YES YOU CAN COME SAVE ME NOW, HE'S NOT CAMPING.

  • Myers, because jumpscares. He's the only killer who can make me crap my pants while I'm sitting on a gen, minding my own business. Plus, I enjoy seeing his bright and shiny face from across the map.
    "Oh, hello Myers".

I also enjoy playing against good billys, because I'll worry every time I hear the chainsaw.

  • I've noticed this too. Everyone elses skirts flop around, so I don't know why Feng's doesnt. Even Hag has a floppy red dress, showing off dat ass.

  • You broke chase SO many times to kick gens. At one point one of the survivors was just standing in plain sight right in front of you, but you ignored him to kick the gen instead of chasing him. You wasted time kicking a gen that was barely started on. You're a Billy, who can use his chainsaw to get around the map really quickly and down people really quickly, which means you don't need to kick gens all the time like you did. You wasted so much time in doing this. I'm sorry, but I agree with the previous comment saying this not the state of the game. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just commenting on what I see here.

  • Most of your threads are like this. You just posted a thread about you not participating in the blood hunt because you're so fed up with toxic players, and then you post this. What exactly is your goal here, what do you want to discuss? Because I know the minute people start giving you suggestions about things or try to make you look at the situation in a different way, you get angry with them. So I'm not sure what you want to get from posting this.

You don't seem to enjoy this game at all. And you're not making suggestions here, you're just complaining and venting, making the forum a more "toxic" place to be. I don't see why you even play this game to be honest.

  • @Jeeperrs said:

If you dont agree with a post then ignore and move on, dont tell someone what they can say and cant say.

One of the people offered up a possible explanation of the behaviour of Claudette in your game, to which you overreacted to. Then another person offered up bait to play with you, and you completely fell for it.

Personal dislike of your person? Do these people in here know you, or did you just make an assumption of your own? How despicable of you :)

I make that assumption because I've already run into biggs in a previous thread of mine and he behaved just like that. It wouldn't make the assumption if I didn't have a basis for it. Especially since all of a sudden, someone is going through my bug reports and marking them all as spam. Still think I'm wrong with my assumption? I don't think so.

As for the explanation of Claudette's behaviour, I might not have overreacted if it had been written in a different manner. The way it's currently written makes some key assumptions that are blatantly wrong and for which the creator has no basis for as he didn't partake in the game.

You made a post, people assumed something based on what you wrote, and then you got angry and abused the flag system. Yes, we didn't partake in the game. Which is why we need to base our reply solely on what you post here. Some people will agree with you immediately, and some people will offer alternative suggestions as to why Claudette acted the way she did. Because it's rarely all black and white. I actually had a similar thought to that of Outland, **based on what you wrote. ** I also thought that if Claudette really led him to you on purpose, she might have done it because she felt you'd given up on her and just waited for her to die so you could get the hatch. People tend to have an issue with that.

I don't see anything wrong with how Outland replied. He wasn't being disrespectful, or "vile and despicable". You decided to get all worked up over his reply because he "dared" to assume something. Why make a thread like this if people can't suggest alternative motives for the Claudette?

We reply based on the limited information we have. If you feel that we're wrong, in stead of getting all pissed off (your own words), you can tell us "no, you've misunderstood, that's not what happened" and then calmly explain and fill in the gaps for us to better understand how the game went. This would be a much better way than to shout "how dare you". You're not going to be taken seriously if that is how you respond to people, hence the messing around afterwards. It's pretty obvious to me that that's why someone decided to have a little fun with you.

And as to biggs..you're assuming he's flagged those posts. You don't know for sure. Also, I doubt he has some personal agenda towards some random stranger in a forum :)

To me, there's no point in maining a certain survivor. I just won't main any male characters due to the hitbox differences. Aside from that, maining a character is purely cosmetic. I just play a lot of Meg and Nea, for some of their customizations. Meg Main big brain

There's a hitbox difference? I didn't know that. Can I ask how you know this?

Oh, and I main Feng and Nea.

    Sorry man,

The survivor was being instructed BY THE GAME to "FIND HELP" , you being the only surviving survivor in the game, you were the ONLY HELP she could go to. She just thought she could save you the time by coming closer to you to finish the heal.

The Killer was just playing smart and following the wounded prey. They didn't start out playing together, and it was your actions (of leaving her for dead) that led the other survivor to do the only thing she could do to survive.

And as it turns out the Killer rewarded her, seems like a solid strat to me. She lived and you died because you decided to leave her to die. Unfortunately the game is not fair. But by at least doing as much as you did you still got a lot of BP's right ?

No, no, this just pisses me off now.

Claudette was farming with the Clown in the middle of the operation theatre, I had Empathy and saw her injured outline, the Clown kept throwing bottle after bottle after bottle after bottle, each time getting the Intoxication score event while she stood still, then she went to smack all pallets in the vicinity on his head.

When I got closer, she spotted me with her Bond and motioned for the Clown to follow her. She kept following me with the Clown running after her, until he spotted me in the distance, starting the chase. It eventually ended with Claudette waiting atop the closed hatch in the operation theatre, and the clown carrying me into the basement below.

She did not seek help, she sold me out, clearly and without a doubt.

Do not dare ever again assume how a game went if you weren't taking part in it.

    Do not dare?! :):) LOL
What was your point of starting this thread? People are going to comment, and some of them will disagree with you. Relax. Oh, and I can clearly see some of them are just messing around a bit with you, in good spirit, because they find it amusing that you're so worked up over this. And you take the bait. Messing around doesn't make them "vile and despicable". Again, relax.

Oh, and I notice all the comments not agreeing with you are flagged as abuse...I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume you flagged them. Why, because they don't agree with you? That's rich, coming from someone who is crying out for fair play and decency.

And as a reply to your original post: stuff like this happens. I have had worse things happen to me in games, multiple times. I get annoyed, then report them and move on. Some people don't play fair. Move on to the next game and try not to let it get to you like this. It seems to me that you're getting a little too worked up over it..

  • I'm completely baffled as to why someone felt the need to flag the comment above mine as abuse. What's going on? Do you guys even know the meaning of the word "abuse"?

The ability for 4 people to have fun shouldn't come at the expense of the 1, especially when the 4 are breaking the entire game by playing together in the first place.

There will always be someone not having fun in this game. If the killer is having fun, the survivors will probably not have as much fun and vice versa. That's just how it is. When you play a game you risk losing if going up against better players, but that's how you learn and get better. You win some, you lose some. I don't get why people get so worked up over it. Accept the challenge in stead of whining.

"Accept the challenge" when the challenge is objectively breaking the balance. The game is balanced around solo players, ask Mathieu Cote himself. Watch the Depip Squad win nearly 100 matches in a row because the Survivors goals are super easy on top of using SWF. Watch McLean even admit that SWF isnt balanced.

There is no challenge. It's completely one sided if the survivors aren't a bunch of potatoes. You can't argue this with me. The science is there as well as evidence straight up from the dev team.

Ah, I see you brought up the de-pip squad...such a redundant experiment. I happen to know very well how scientific experiments work, and I can assure you, this was not a good one. While the intentions were good, I fail to see how this proved anything besides what we already know: that if 4 extremely experienced gamers play SWF it breaks the game. Of course it does, no one questions that. But there are SO FEW players with that kind of experience, let alone 4 of them in the same group.

I regularly watch good killers stream, and quite often they deal very well with SWF. Yes, if the survivors are really good and very experienced (which in most cases they are not), SWF is unbalanced. There's not much you can do about it, but try to learn from it, and use that knowledge to play even better when going up against more casual players.

And of course I can argue with you.
