Never watched the show. From what people on the forum have been discussing the monster can teleport to other dimensions and can smell blood in between dimensions. This was just the stuff I have seen on the forums.

I believe the reason it’s 12 seconds is because it gives both the killer and surviver time to either get to the hatch or find the hatch imo

Don’t be ashamed for using every trick in the book. Camping may suck for both you and the survivor but it’s part of the game so don’t worry about camping
