  • Because swf doesn’t have to be an issue for people to feel it’s an issue and lobby dodge as a result.

There is no value in telegraphing swf as it will just increase queue times as people skip lobbies over and over.

swf can be hard to outplay. Some enjoy the challenge but many people don’t want that level of challenge. So the lobby dodging and wait time fiesta will commence the moment folk know it’s swf or not.

  • The pay to win argument here is really odd. Yes some powerful perks are available from DLC but base perks a completely viable.

BBQ and DS do not mean auto win, if you think that then you are giving them way to much credit.

Perks can be bought via the shrine with free in game currency. It pops up randomly and there are a lot of perks but that's called patience... its a virtue. Some perks may not be in the shrine so correct me if I'm wrong here.

Oh I have to pay for new content well yeah. A pay wall would be paying for the perks alone, but dlc usually has a new killer, new survivor plus perks. It like a poster add for entitlement.

Either be patient or anti up, the only issue here seems to be impatient FOMO. The cost of this game is quite cheap compared to others and doesn't have the spend money and gamble on reward element that many other online games have. i.e loot crates.

  • There doesn't need to be a change to regression to fix gen tapping, it just needs to be that survivors initiate a repair animation to stop regression rather than just tap and go.

yes, but way less forgiving if you missed the first time

The unforgiving part of DS is if you miss it you missed it. There is enough second chance mechanics in this game already that the last thing the game needs is hand holding with respect to skill checks too and yeah I often miss em because I'm a potato survivor. But that's the cost of running it.

  • They all fit. There is a myriad of horror out there and every one of the DBD killers could be in a film hunting survivors. Just because some elements of the horror are culturally different from each other doesn't make them any less appropriate for the game.

  • Because sometimes it’s fun just to mori folk. Usually I’ll bring a mori for the last game or two of the evening.

I’m getting a bit over a full game as it’s getting late but still want to have a bit of fun.

folk always assume malicious toxic intent with a mori but in truth it’s just a bit o fun. If I get to use it great if I get a sweat squad who manage to avoid my using it then who cares. Maybe I call it a night maybe I have one more match to try again to see some cool animations.

we need to stop taking keys and Moris personally and just play the game.

  • killer Trapper - BBQ, Sloppy, Thana, Pop

I still get value out of people stepping in traps on the other side of the map, by the mid game everybody is injured so even if they are starting to avoid traps, chases tend to be short.

  • Couldn't agree more, but...

Where would people stand on swf using OoO to constantly update the other players on the killer. Now you're mixing legal use of a perk with outside comms in a potentially game breaking scenario. Just crusious.

  • I don't know man this seems like a rant. I've had noed get popped plenty of times before it really had any effect, I've also had it wreck a team and similar scenarios when I've played against it. I think people hate on it because it undermines someone's expected escape.

You often see the argument if you've completed the gens you deserve to escape and that's a problem, frankly nothing is guaranteed until every survivor is sacc'ed or escaped. If noed is up its time to stealth out and hunt for bones. When you see bones during a match cleanse them.

The only games I've had where noed really wrecked was when gens popped so fast I'd barely got 2 hooks, then the lack of separating out tasks from gens to bones is a fault of the survivor team. If you want to avoid noed instill a culture of countering it by doing bones, don't cry nerf in the chat.

  • Your experience mirrors my own to some extent although I'm only 3-4 months in. Even in that short time and while I have a greater number of enjoyable games with the new mmr than I did with the old. (By enjoyable I mean games where I feel I could participate in them and have an impact and get to generally play, rather than just watch gens fly by while everyone evades me or hang on a hook all game).

Match making is still a bit of a crap shoot and if you 4k for 2-3 games the next six games are against rank one death squads till they chuck you back against 4k in 1 minute rank 20-15's. I'd say 3-4 games in 10 feel balanced, 2-3 feel unbalanced in my favor, the rest unbalanced in the opponents favor. I guess that's an improvement.

I have to admit the initial excitement is starting to wear off. I used to play 2-3 hours at least 4 evenings a week, that's now down to 1-2 games every 2 days or so.

Its based heavily on the quality of game experience, if someone drops a pallet in my face on the very first chase then clicky clicks and butt dances I often consider DC'ing not always but sometimes. Not because it upsets me but why play with obnoxious people. The problem with online gaming is that you are often forced to game with people you typically wouldn't game with due to them just being bad sports, bad gamers, unpleasant people, tantrum throwing children. I just want to play the game and I tire of the antics on both killer and survivor side.

If I get 1-2 balanced games I call it because the later it gets the more toxic and abusive things become and that's not healthy for the game. If the new mmr 'balances' games eventually I may up my playtime again. At the moment though its a couple of casual games and call it because often its not worth anymore of my time than that.

  • I think the problem comes from trying to define it in one box when it can be used in multiple ways. I'm sure it was intended as an anti tunnel mechanic but it can be used aggressively to hinder killer momentum making at an anti-momentum tool also.

One counter to it is to tunnel it out early and then not worry about it on that player anymore, making the anti tunnel argument slightly mute in this scenario.

So the answer is... it's both, but its use and effectiveness varies based on how players utilize it and how killers respond to it.

  • I'm looking at that totem thinking challenge accepted. Gonna Indiana Jones the ######### outa that one.

  • Basically a thread like this profits nobody. Its not constructive, its just abusing others for playing a particular build.

Sure these combos are strong and maybe need to be reworked but to say really stupid and childish insults because people run them says more about you than the people who run them.

Seriously just grow up and play the game.

The thing that gets me is that we had warning that match making will be a bit rough until it settles down but still people complain.

Someone wrote about how the makers dont care for the game or the people playing it and are money grabbers and that the core team should be let go for other people..... very strange and I guess that person was having a very bad day.

I think DbD is a great game and think some people need to calm down. There are way bigger issues going on then a few bugs or glitches here and there. And to complain about something when you have been warned about it is just crazy.

You got to remember though, players are just customers. How many times have you seen a bad customer at the supermarket or a cafe that just really expects it all and has absolutely no manners or patience. Now take that and turn it into a direct confrontation free environment behind the safety of a monitor and keyboard and bam you have the nonconstructive, impatient, entitled complainer crowd.

Having worked enough customer service in my day, I firmly believe every employee should be legally allowed to fight one customer per day. There is a button under the desk, you press it, a red light comes on and its go time!

  • didn't it say somewhere that if you beat people much lower than you then the increase in MMR is minimal compared to beating people closer in rank to you. So maybe it will take more games if the original match-ups are wildly skewed?

They found forensic evidence that proved Kosminski was the ripper.

Not to hijack the thread but they found mitochondrial DNA with partial matches from maternal line to one victim and Kosminski, however the sample is not without contamination. The mtDNA sequenced is a very common one and without the full sequence being provided in the published paper due to cited privacy concerns, I'm afraid it could have come from a number of sources as the overlaps are from mtDNA that is common to a huge number of European people.

Also mtDNA is primarily and most reliably used as a tool to show two samples aren't related and exclude suspects, rather than direct relatedness to show guilt. Its use then is not entirely appropriate to say Kosminski is the ripper but rather to say there is common enough mtDNA to be unable to dismiss him as a suspect based on it alone. But that could be said for 100's of other unrelated Europeans who share the similar mtDNA profile.

So while it is potentially good evidence it in no way proves beyond doubt that Kosminski was the ripper. Sadly we wind up back at square one.

But yes top hat and cape wearing slasher would be a great DBD killer.

  • The Doc as I already have the lab coats and you can only be Zoidberg so many times.

Don't dive into anything real life. Hits too close to home and could dig up bad rep with the associated nation.

Would be like if they added Stalin or Hitler to the Civilization games.

I agree but civ is a little bit different, those are nations with real historical leaders, for obvious reasons they are leaders typically not known for mass genocide, which is a good thing. So yeah depiction of real people in media and games needs to be thought out.

There is a difference between a character being inspired by a real life killer, and the real life killer themselves.

Jack the ripper is a real serial killer and probably shouldn't be in the game, but a killer inspired by that circumstance would be pretty good. Again a Victorian/Edwardian era gentleman in a top hat with a razor chasing survivors around cobblestone streets. Think how cool the map could be.

It could have a bunch of period/Gothic costume cosmetics for survivors and would fit with DBD really well.

While the generators are modern in design, the first generators (at least Faraday Disks) stem back to the early 1800's with more modern gens appearing in the early 1900's its not a stretch to include the theme.

    What name though?

    "The Ripper"

    "The Undertaker"

    "The Mad Hatter"

  • Gaming around a jungle gym or LT etc etc is a lot of fun but running around the same rock three times till the pallet goes is pretty dull.

  • Yeah real life killers would probably cross a line, even historical ones...

However a Victorian/Edwardian era killer in a top hat with a razor would be a great theme. Maybe "the mad hatter" or "the undertaker" or something similar. Like Seamus from Malifaux. The map would be the dark cobblestone streets of old timey London.

Holmes would make an interesting survivor.

  • Yeah I just play against the map. If its that much of a concern bring Franklin's and set a trap on the item.

  • I've had a very opposite experience. Most games since the new MMR have been really balanced and just generally fun. I have neither gone against sweat squads who either meltdown after a loss or abuse you after a win or complete beginners who can barely play.

There is a fun and adequate level of challenge and I'm mostly just having a great time not needing to sweat or play dirty for the kills. You do get some rainbow games where clearly there is one guy who is carrying the team and I'm not sure how fun the game is for them. But as a generally mid tier killer who hovered around the purps pre MMR, I'd say I've been well matched so far resulting varied games ranging from 0-1k to 4k.

  • Yeah I'd like to see this. The buccaneer or the captain. Hook handed cutlass wielding killer that looks like LeChuck the zombie pirate from monkey island.

  • Sigh noed is a perk like any other, just as BT, DS, UB, Adrenalin and all the other second chance perks in the game. People only moan about it because when gens are done they expect to escape and then noed undermines that expectation and they can't do much but either take the hit, play around it, or throw a tantrum.

Same goes for DS etc you get hits and downs and you expect to hook or sacc and then these perks undermine your expectation and you either take your hit, play around it, or throw a tantrum.

Yes survivors have more perks that can make up for bad play and many folks wouldn't get as many escapes or kills without particular perks to help but that's what perks are for!

To say all killers that take noed are trash is just you throwing a tantrum, do totems, don't get hit, know when to save and when to use your DS etc etc so you don't waste it. Yes killers try and tunnel out the DS because its most powerful during the EGC, getting it out early is a great counter. The counter to noed is cleansing totems and doing your best to avoid the killer once it pops. That means unhooking in their face during EGC probably not a good play.

  • I have to admit when playing killer yesterday I found the games far more balanced than before. Typically I'd get smashed by a rank 1-2 red team with a single low rank who are obviously smurfing to get easier games. This has become more and more common over time and resulted in really one sided matches. Typically I sit in the green to purp ranks as that's where the game is least sweaty.

Now I've gotten better and can usually 1-2 k against such teams but yesterday I didn't get a single match like that. I got games where I never felt completely outplayed, often had a 2k by game end sometimes 3-4 and generally had fun. It was probably the least toxic day in DBD history for me without any post game abuse or tantrums from opponents. I didn't feel the need to tunnel or camp because I didn't have to in order to get kills.

There is a bit of rainbow matchmaking still but generally it seemed ok. Also while trying survivor I had roughly the same experience. Although no one at level 15 or below does gens hehe. Now its early days but so far its been an improvement for me.

  • Yeah gotta say this seems like another unproductive whine thread. I got hard tunneled at 5 gen the other day, killer was a deathslinger. Went for me everytime till I was done. You know what I did I tried to outrun him, did so for 2 gens after second hook, yay me, and then died on 3rd hook. Shrugged and queued again. Who cares its a game.

Same goes for 2-3 gens pop after first hook. I've been outplayed time to salvage what I can from this. Are survivors going straight in for the unhook? do I have a good 3 gen going? Each of these things will decide how much I might tunnel or camp. Usually its best to do neither as better BBQ stacks means more points and 2 gen is not game over yet. But we'll see, if I run across the unhooked guy again then they are going back on hook. It just a game, stop wining and start playing.

  • Don't think that would fix the issue you would just have the standoff where the last guys hides and you search for an hour. That's what the hatch/egc was supposed to prevent.

That said I often slug to find the 3rd one not for the 4k but to get the one hiding and kill them instead of the one I caught trying to do gens.

  • I never end game trash talk anyone, play how you wanna play. If I can't find you all game then good on you for hiding well.

I may occasionally respond with something I find funny but its solely for me and usually reactive not initiating hehe. :)

I never take the opinions of endgame chat seriously as frankly there is no point.

  • How do you let killers opt out of swf without greatly increasing queue times? Also where do you draw the line?

    Some example scenarios...

A 3 person swf can't be paired with a solo queue survivor unless a solo queue chooses to be placed with swf. Now you have an extra queue based on how many solo survivors want to queue with a 3 man swf.

Many killers will lobby dodge because the prevailing opinion is swf is overpowered. Some killers prefer the challenge but they are probably in the minority. This will include swf made up of non-4 person teams. Such as two and two or trios.

In the 3 and 1 scenario do you know who is swf and who isn't? Thus allowing you as killer to pinpoint a single survivor and possibly bully them more than others.

What incentives are on offer for killers and solo survivors to choose to face/join swf? Do we punish players who play with their friends or incentivize people to 'opt in' for bonus blood points? If they have to incentivize players to opt in then isn't that confirming the problem of lobby dodging?

I don't see how you can highlight swf in the load screen and not avoid a whole nest of new issues that result in people skipping lobbies and increasing wait times.

  • I never knew and often have this issue as well I'll have to give this a try.

  • @vogit10102 said:

That's why survs are always potatoes, because based on the comments, it seems that all killers are rank 1 semi gods survivors.

No I'm a complete potato survivor but am improving, but I know what I find hard to play against as killer and many survivors do those things and do them well.

Many survivors do one thing, try and loop and when that fails they dc or suicide on first hook. You don't get much varied play from survivors and you get a lot of really stupid behaviour, such as returning to the gen next to the hook you just got off, while injured, and wondering why you got downed again. I think a lot of the "this has no counters" comes from people who just can't problem solve, adapt, or switch things up. As I said lateral thinking is hard to come by (this goes for killers too).

  • Yeah I'm getting used to the new auras but I still find the trapper really hard to play at the moment. Can't see any traps on the map unless I'm looking at them from the right angle and distance, it really makes his set up and planning sluggish as without a purple bag addon I spend half my time trying to find my traps.

Crouch: mint rag lets you teleport everywhere at any time, even if the trap is not activated

flashlight: ok, that's the counter? A counter can't be an item, because if you don't have it or can't find it in a chest you're literally screwed.

No coordinated run through, you just wait for the rescue animation to complete fully and you teleport. instant down for the rescuer with make your choice

That's kind my point about coordinated run through. You don't unhook straight away that's the lateral thinking part. The most annoying thing for a hag is to have traps constantly tripping with little advantage to it. As in run around the hook and run off, the hag will either have to start dropping traps again or initiate chases allowing for someone else to unhook. A good hag won't take the bait but most will. This is thought out counter play. Make your choice won't proc if you force the hag to port early. If they port to the unused trap then there is a cooldown.

crouching works just fine as the hag won't have an audible cue to port until you unhook, yes MYC comes into play then but if you get 2 people involved in the unhook, then you may get away with it.

flashlights are a direct counter just like calm spirit is a direct counter to doc maps to trapper etc. Yes you can't always know what to bring but that's part of the game. You can't have everything handed to you on a silver platter.

All this is valid counter play that works. Yes it takes more thought and coordination to counter than usual but that's the benefit of bringing rare addons. Once its clear you have a mint rag shackles hag then it becomes a drag her into chases and be careful around hooks as she probably doesn't have a lot of traps down in general but will likely over trap hooks. If she is caught up in a port to hook chase game then she isn't pressuring gens allowing one to two survivors free reign to complete them.

Why should an offering or item completely swing the balance of the game?

    why shouldn't it?

  • Bummer if they are reworking them, neither keys or moris bother me at all. In fact I like both of them.

They do what they are supposed to do, unbalance the game in one direction or the other. Mori used to be usable without hooking, now its usable after one hook guess the next thing will be usable after 2 hooks, how long until people complain then about how they get tunneled down after second hook.

I guess the counter will be keys can only be used once exit gates are powered? But then we'll all be whining that survivors don't even have to open the gates to escape. Guess I'll have to use up my moris and keys while I can and go on a slaughter/escape fest.

  • The hag is my go to killer.

Yeah mint rag shackles MYC hag is fun and powerful in one very specific way. Popping those who unhook for constant hook trades.

But the mint rag has some downsides. It has a 15 second cooldown making it rather bad in chases. You can port from anywhere so you need to really plan out your placement until you can start the hook trade engine. Nothing worse than porting to the wrong trap because of how closely they triggered so you lose out on the hook trade.

Often you'll find a mint rag hag will chase more at the start as the best set up involves a trapped hook, so they won't have dropped a whole map full of traps out, meaning they need that quick first down or they have to lay out more traps and waste more time.

Its kind of a powerful one trick pony but once you are aware of it, then you can play around it. Run through a hooked area first to spring all those traps. Run to a hook but pause and wait a mo so that if she ports too soon then BT can activate and you can body block her from the insta down. She can't port again for 15 secs that's enough time to get to a safe loop and punish her for the misplay. But if its paired with a mori and sometimes is get ready for the insta-kill retaliation to that play.

Yes I am aware shackles removes the trap notification but if you run around the hook you have probably sprung 1 or 2 traps. It just takes a lil more coordination and lateral thinking in that one specific scenario.

Outside of that, I prefer regular hag with distance and speed addons I get more hits and I don't have to chase you because you'll step in a trap eventually so no endless looping.

  • I really don't have an issue with it. Yeah I don't get to spend blood points on other killers while waiting but in all honesty I don't wait that long. If queues are bad I find something else to do, waiting 15+ mins for a game is not worth my time.

Survivors still last minute switch but its no more than before and hasn't really affected my game. At most there might be one guy with calm spirit while playing doc etc etc.

If they have covered all exploits that reveal killer and the new MMR results in better matches faster, then I really don't mind the incredibly mild inconvenience of being locked in as killer when I hit ready.

My only concern now is with killers I have a lot of time on because I find them fun, will I ever get the cake walk easy game every now and then or is it always gonna be a sweat fest because I win more with them than I lose. Hmm only time will tell.

  • Classic Dracula, as in original novel Dracula I could easily see fitting into DBD.

Maybe "Vlad the impaler" type character with sword and blood drinker power.

For those who think it bad he could be outplayed by 4 survivors, Dracula is originally outplayed by 4 survivors. I'm sure the entity would take interest in a creature such as him and snap him up just before his untimely death to continue hunting people in the fog.

  • Yeah it aint over till the fat lady swings (on a hook that is), basically I get most of my kills with 1 to 2 gens left. That's the point of critical mass as it were. If I haven't hooked enough people before that point usually its a muck about smacking people till the gates are open.

Overall I think gen speeds are ok, but maybe there should be a base reduction in personal repair speed if you are injured. That would at least give an incentive to stop and heal. I've had whole groups injured with traps on their heads and still focusing on gens.

I don't understand the bully element (and yes I've been on the receiving end of it) if people want to dance around you and clicky click just smack em, chase em it's all blood points, if chase is at max and its really a no game anymore then just wander off to an exit gate and open it, kick as many pallets breakable walls as you can, deny the opponents any further points by not engaging, you only hurt your own progression when you dc. Worse case bully scenario, camp the ######### outa any last lucky hook. You'll get a heap of hits and maybe turn one hook into 3-4 for a full BBQ stack or even 2+ kills.

  • Try this, charge the saw outside of chase get a feel for how many swings before it runs out and work on timing. I never feel I have to look at the bar and can get the downs on more than one survivor in a single saw run if the opportunity arises. Its about timing.

Its is a massive improvement over having to hug someone's back before using the saw and then waiting for it to finish once they are down. Having to balance that mechanic with timing is kinda the point or it would be oppressively easy to just charge after people and down them.

Billy is about maneuvering so that's his skill cap, bubba is all about timing.

  • Yeah I rarely camped with him even with old build. New LF is a beast and much more fun in chase. I don’t have to be stuck to someone’s back now to get those chainsaw downs.

That said if we get 1/egc and I have only a couple of hooks I may pitch my tent.

also the bubba basement game is still a strong one.

  • I have to agree, I'm struggling without colour blindness. Think this is a deal breaker for me at the moment till a fix is in place.

Try playing the trapper and finding your traps.

  • Yeah have finally played against an OoO couldn't even tell they had it. They said they felt pretty much immune to my spotting them the whole game. 1 hook with trapper its really really fun. I quit till this gets fixed or at least changed a lil.

  • BBQ has definitely lost some edge but I'm still getting good use out of it. The real problem I had was trying to play trapper. I can't see a single trap on the map to pick up and have virtually no info on where to go to collect them until I've run around a whole heap to spot them.

  • It's good that you asked and not just made statements but your options are rather narrow in the questioning and still assume someone must be a potato to bring a mori.

We need to stop trying to create an artificial reason behind someone bringing a MORI or a key. This is a common part of human psychology, in the absence of facts we create our own narrative, more so when we have a perceived risk of loss. It leads to anti-vaxxers, conspiracy theories, flat earthers and is a large part of the psychology of religion.

Mori's and keys are powerful and definitely tip the balance of the game, I often bring a mori on the last game of the night just to have a bit of fun with it, because why not, its part of the game.

I might bring a mori because I spotted a key so lets even the playing field. I try not to be toxic with it but hey with current matchmaking sometimes that one hook mori takes the pressure off, if I feel the need to use it that way, then I will. Sometimes I won't use it at all or maybe just for that last kill when the game has gone well.

I don't fear being matched with better players, if people say that's why they bring a mori ok then, but to attribute emotion in the absence of facts is that same psychology again. Same goes for attributing maliciousness to their use. Hence post game chat often being really toxic if you bring a mori or key as everyone assumes your plan was to be toxic and responds to that end.

If people ask to be killed, butt dance flash light constantly then ok I'll kill you, wish granted. Again I don't know why you did that and I can't know so I'm not going to attribute any maliciousness to it, maybe you wanted to farm and I didn't get it, maybe you enjoy being toxic I don't know. I'll mori you because I don't really enjoy that behaviour so I'll minimize the time spent online with you and I have a tool to do that. Again no maliciousness just using a tool to improve my game experience, albeit at the expense of theirs.

Depends how you're playing as killer. Are you camping, tunneling everyone? Are you being annoying and slugging everyone? If I see those slugging try hard killers I won't spend 5 min on the ground waiting so the killer can force his 4k, so I dc myself. If it's 2 survivors and you down 1 and the other was close by and you know where he is then it's fine but majority leaves you on the ground searching minutes for the last survivor to force his 4k so smart ppl dc and you can search alone for another 5 min

I love how a bad survivor exploit is put back on the killer. You do realize that people will accuse you of tunneling and camping even when you're not doing it. Its as silly as saying if I as killer DC its because survivors can loop and its their fault so I'm justified in doin git. FFS.

    Sore losers be sore losers

  • I get that the game holds a personal place for you from your childhood, but that's kinda the point it strikes others as childish which is why I think there is a lot of resistance to it.

For those of us who grew up watching friday the 13th, halloween, etc etc there was a forbidden element to it because it wasn't intended for children. You had to sneak into these films as a kid in the 80's, half the horror came from the threat of getting caught and kicked out.

FNAF strikes me as childish and cartoony. Yes it has a dark back story but its packaged in a very tempered manner. Now if they include it great for you, I'm happy, if they don't great again no loss, as I'm largely indifferent to it not being a fan (much like SH).

There are a number of other more adult and generally thematically appropriate franchises/killers I would rather see before FNAF, but its not up to me, however I'll voice that opinion when people call for FNAF because I would rather see classic killers that I am nostalgic for, or interesting original content before any FNAF.

That's just my personal preference, I don't want to deny you FNAF but while my interest in this game holds I'd like to see other stuff first.

i.e Hannibal Lecter, The Shining, some form of shadow figure drawn from the ideas of sleep paralysis... the list goes on.

Given the seemingly more "childish" (my opinion) nature of FNAF it pains me to think what kind of community might be added to an already brimming with toxicity community with its addition. That view is 100% bias and I'm well aware of it but it concerns me none the less.

I hope this has been a tempered response without being to inflammatory. I'm not saying if you enjoy FNAF you are childish just that I feel the theme is kinda childish.

  • Blood points are all that matter. You spend them on the fun builds, everyone escapes but I have 4 BBQ stacks and 2x hooks or maybe 1 kill but brutal killer and lots of BP I'm happy. The only time its unfun is when you can barely get anything done and walk away with very few BP's which happens often with the Gen obsessed red squads who power through them so quickly that they don't even earn any BP's. I've had games were we all walk away with only around 9 to 10k each because gens popped so fast that I really only did a couple of chases. (its not a gen rush rant its a what qualifies as a disappointing match for me statement usually fault of my own being unable to properly pressure and down a coordinated team).

4 or 5 games like that and I think eh time to do something else its a waste of time tonight. Typically as they are usually the most unpleasant people to game with too.

It's not about farming I just want to play a game where I have impact on the outcome and get rewards for it rather than "I might as well just stand here and wait" kinda play.

  • One thing I found was that it only takes a couple of good players to really counter a killer at mid tier (Which is where I like to hover as I don't have to sweat to much). So you have to pick your targets wisely. You might go up against 4x red rank but at least two of them will be complete potatoes. They know enough though that they can be carried by the good payers and still be generally effective.

A really experienced two man team that coordinates well will really carry two potatoes through. Sometimes you see the end game and you have 2x red 1 yellow 1x green and you think I should have done better there I picked the wrong targets. If the red/purp folk escape but you kill all the green etc then you have to think to yourself that's probably what should have happened.

Hopefully MMR improves things. I'm really looking forward to four potato salad, I get them every now and then and I think wow how the hell did you get to red ranks. Rank does not mean skill it means time spent online.
