No, but waiting a long time for a match isn't fun either so its probably in the interest of killer mains to show a little respect and have some honor when they play. Pissing off survivors so much that they don't feel like playing anymore is just going to hurt the game. Its one thing if its end game and you haven't got a kill yet but early in the match with 4-5 gens up? Its totally unacceptable. And many killers do it for such petty reasons too. As I said, I've had them do it simply because they didn't like the map offering. I mean come on... you're going to tunnel down survivors because you had to play on a map you didn't like? You have map offerings too you know.
Play during the late morning to the full afternoon that's when Survivor ques are instant all day and killer ques are long.

Tunneling ruins this game for survivors. This is a problem and I don't know why after all this time it is not a reportable offense. When a killer blatantly comes right back to you straight off the hook and tunnels you down until your death hook the game is no longer fun at that point. Its just not worth playing. There is little to nothing survivors can do to counter this unless you have some kinda insanely coordinated SWF group to deal with toxic killers that do this. Tunneling playstyles have to be discouraged and the perks we have for it aren't enough. The action altogether needs to be discouraged and until there is some kind of punishment for doing it then it will never stop. Tunneling survivors down makes for a miserable experience and there is absolutely nothing at all fun about it. If you play killer and you do this please know you're ruining this game for survivors. You may think its fun but for me it really makes me not want to press that ready button again.
The killer doesn't need to make sure you're having fun tunneling you can't really take it away no matter what you add in it's gonna stay it's a viable strat for killer that helps them win just like survivors using BNP is great for finishing your objective quicker

First match of the day. BBQ, Ruin, Undying, and the extremely busted Tinkerer.
So I almost had a Gen almost completed and the Blight shows up from nowhere undetectable. I got down. Before I go back and finish the gen, one was on a hook and another slugged. The Blight shows up again because of tinkerer.
And killers want to complain about Boons and SWF? All I have to say is killers have some extremely busted things that need nerfing.
I'm already quitting for the night because there is no chance against the killer meta. Experienced killers with training wheels is busted. Rework tinkerer, nerf Blight, nerf Ruin. It's not fun.
Here's an idea if you know he has tinker, you're injured and he's just hooking someone maybe go find another gen and than comeback later to it and I don't know break ruin while using small game, map, detective's hunch, etc plenty of options there but, wait you never use them only the meta survivor perks right?

Im survivor main but I play both side recently.
At first when I played killer I tried to do my best and kill all of them.
Since the SBMM I just want to chill and play for fun. Im not a competitive guy. So I decided to do my best to 2 hook everyone then letting them escape by gates.
When I tried to kill them all they insulted me in endgame chat. Now I let them escape and play super fair and they still toxic in endgame chat, insulting me ect.
What am I supposed to do ?
Im confused. I dont understand this hate towards killer players.
Survivors ask killers to play fair, no camp, no tunnel, but even if you play like that its still toxicity in endgame chat.
I think most of survivors mains just want to insult killer player whatever happen during the game.
Next time I will try hardcamp games. Maybe they will stop insulting then 🤷♂️
Most of the time it's there own fault in the game and they can't see it so they just point all the blame on the killer and that's not fair. Like they try to take a BT hit and you wait it out you down them and they call you a tunneler and it's like dude you guys are so stupid sometimes.
-
I always say if you're a good killer player you can utilize the helmets on the survivors head. What some Pig players don't realize is it's a good slow down tactic but, chase the person with the helmet can loose you the match sometime cause you can't put the others on the 3 other survivors

I don't run Gen defense and that ain't stopped them from being sweaty

Getting outplayed at pallets? Just run.
Need to reach the other side of the map in 3 seconds? Just run
The survivor is using obstacles to counter your power? The hitbox is your friend.
This killer is absolute unfun to verse and thanks to the hitboxes it doesnt even matter if you outsmart the killer. His downside is way to less, since his cooldown is a joke.
So does the same go for Billy and Oni than with the just run?
-
I get playing killer can be hard especially playing against 4 man swf's constantly but, for me my advice would be just use 0 gen defense for a while and you'll end up in an MMR that maybe will be a nice area for you to play killer rather than constantly vsing the same swf's and perks over and over again.
-
I think it's fine it's back to it's old self before dedicated servers were a thing
-
You can save it just don't use it the first time
-
You could just not go for the unhook and do the gens simple as that you don't him to get his bbq stacks while camping don't go near the hook cause you won't get know even if you get the unhook especially with BT

I would advise you to not waste your time or breath on these killers, good killers and some I see says they dont have no issue and know how to counter dead hard, honestly its just bad killers complaining about it just like how there is a constant boon totem complaints, still waiting on new vigil/ built to last complaints and much more, they need to just remove us survivors and lets the killers kill each other.
I'm actually a killer/survivor player myself and I was confused at first when it happened to me as killer than I just accepted it being back to it's old self now before dedicated servers
-
I like Tru3ta1ent also enjoy Cahlaflour, Otzdarva, Spookyloops, and a little bit of Spook N Jukes, Mrgimms, and Jaee
-
I would say he's fine try to place torment in loops while in chase and commit to going through the pallet cause than they'll have to make a choice the next turn either get tormented or try to find another loop quick which could almost guarantee an M1 hit or if you can read there mind before that while placing torment maybe try a punishment attack but, only if you think you'll know where the survivor will move
-
I think NOED gets too much hate I get why it gets hated on but, the same answer applies all the time break the totems or boon them
-
Sluzzy we played a match together last night against the nerf Spirit. I ran her twice for over a minute at least and the first time only 1 gen finished which is fine you know are team was a little slow on the gens.
However though when you went down you were already starting to ######### on the hook for no reason we had 2 gens done at that point so there wasn't a reason to try and #########.
Sure we didn't have the greatest team I get that and we still lost but, Survivors are fine dude if I can run that Spirit than I don't see why you can't.
-
I would say neutral for both sides cause I play an equal amount of Killer and Survivor
-
Yeah plenty of times but, I've beaten many of them though sometimes I do not

Due to the recent changes Deathslinger has his ADS being nerfed and his Movement speed while aiming being buffed. However I personally believe and also quite a few others believe, that Deathslinger is still in a pretty bad spot. So I'm curious as to what you think should be changed to Deathslinger to be more fun.
Revert him back to his old self than we'll be good and if not maybe just make him default killer speed or something.
-
I'm just glad I can still play and enjoy killer most of the time ;)

I know im not the only one who do that but im curious. How many of you open the stream when you have a ttv in your game. I only do that when im killer i dont watch the stream but i listen to the reaction of my gameplay. The one i like who are not toxic by toxic i mean their behavior i give them a follow if they can say gg im the emd game chat
I check to see if they're live and but don't open there stream cause I don't wanna know what perks they're using but, usually after a game if I kill them or they escape or we're on the same team I usually go to there channel drop them a follow and give them 50 bits if they're affiliate.
But if they're jerks and just start talking trash because they lost fair and square than I don't bother giving support but, I do look at the vod and see what they were saying in the game.

9 out of 10 bubbas i encounter are insidious facecamping the first hook they get thus robbing all 5 players of any gameplay for the entire match (hooked surv can't do anything, killer doesn't do anything, the rest of the survs just sit on gens and hold m1)
i haven't seen this done by any other killer in the game, so clearly bubba design is flawed at its core and needs to be reworked entirely
hillbilly chads > bubba pussies
well you could just not go into the basement and save your teammate if Leatherface is camping it's a bad idea to go for an unhook cause than he's gonna get you and the other person again

Now I dont know if it would be a offering that randomized all the killerz perks or vice versa the survivors out of what they have unlocked. Or it could be a way to just try out new builds u never thought about before without having to think about it. Of course this could be abused if it was put in the hands of the opposing parties but it could be a fun alternative slot machine idea.
I'm down for that that'd be fun

Nurse, Spirit, Blight and Hag are without a doubt the 4 strongest killer (if you disagree completly, let us know why and your top 4)
But who is #5?
Twins? Billy? Huntress? Oni? Pyramid Head? Someone else?
Opinions.
Those 4 killers are good even Hag she can be very strong in the right hands but, my top 5 I'm gonna say
1) Nurse
2) Blight
3) Oni
4) Leatherface
5) Pinhead
Nurse well it's Nurse we all know why.
Blight's got great mobility and can do a lot of damage to the survivors if it's a really good Blight.
Oni if you get his power quickly he's a very scary killer moves fast and can insta down you also doesn't have a penalty for running into walls.
Leatherface He can shred through pallets and can get some insta downs very quickly and easily if you're out of position.
Pinhead I know a lot of people might question me saying Pinhead though I'm surprised I've put him up here too but, he's honestly not that bad the chains can do be pretty nice if you know how to hit people with them and that chain hunt when it starts it can either be really good or average he can also teleport to the box if someone is touching it or take it out of there hands and use it himself.

to be honest, I don't understand why the developers didn't nerf these two addons when they decided to change the addons of these two killers
Well Tombstone takes a long time to get and most of the time by the time you do get it the gens are all done plus with Myers lore in this realm the entity looses control of him so he doesn't sacrifice.
The Ring well I don't have much to say other than it being a strong add on I don't use it a lot but it's still fun to use

I dont see the point of lethal pursuer to be honest...corrupt gives you the same info.
Thoughts?
Corrupt is definitely mainly for set up killers but also it's great on any of the killers Lethal only works well with most killers like Bubba, Billy, Blight, Nurse, and a couple others

So, what have been some of the best hot takes you've heard from salty players in your time playing this game?
Just today I had a streamer who after I 4k'd with Pyramid Head start saying that his cages are over powered and that DS AND BT should counter both Final Judgement and Mori's.
Oh I have a couple.
So one time I was playing Leatherface and I vsed a streamer and there SWF and it was a decent game for both sides though when I looked at the vod they were really mad and the streamer got so mad that once I got him on his death hook he slammed his desk and ended stream and I was like Wow I've never made someone slam there desk and end there stream before.
And the 2nd story well I played as Spirit using a meme perk build Sloppy, Furtive, Mindbreaker, and Dragon's Grip and wow I couldn't believe this guy did this but one of his friends was like you should raid the Spirit and tell everyone to leave and he was like sure let's do and that's exactly what happened. I wasn't bothered by it at first when I heard it but when I went to post my highlight of the game than I got upset cause that's just a bad look to do that to someone as a streamer and I didn't even do a thing to this guy but it just shows the entitlement some Survivor mains have when you beat them fair and square and they take all there rage out on the killer player.

Let's be honest here. Only newer players feel that the game is scary. I guarantee you 500 hrs players do not find the game scary anymore and just play for the thrill of being a chase simulator or playing a role that is much harder than all of FromSoft Games combined.
I at least want the game to be scary in higher or more experienced MMR Brackets. If you play something like Resident Evil 7, Alien Isolation and Silent Hill 2 & 3, I always find these game horrifying even when I finished them more than 5 times already.
With DBD Second Chance Perks are stacked multiple times per Survivors that Death/Losing is not big deal at all making the game an "Action Game" as quoted by Mathieu Cote in the Resident Evil Chapter reveal.
I still play this game and let me say that ever since I've started in 2017 I'm still getting scared by the stealth killers even killers that have a terror radius. Mainly because I get jumpscared easily.

For me it is playing spirit on console. Plenty of mind games (until the nerf comes).
Trapper when I can herd survivors onto a big brain trap that was placed near the start of the game and comes in clutch at the end.
I mean it is a horror game the killer is the power role right?
How about you?
For me it's Pinhead, Nurse, Spirit, Blight, and sometimes Nemesis

She was long over due for changes she's now more fun and fair for both sides. The standing still mind games was horrible and had to go it's frustrating playing with literally zero information to work with. Even then the changes don't hurt her that much she still moves fast as hell while phasing.
If you look closely her animation standing still resets when she activates phase it'll look different each time too like she could be standing upwards than instantly go to being hunched over or it could be the opposite.
-
Number 1 Hackers
I think Hackers should be dealt with first before anymore new content or balance changes
Number 2 SBMM
It shouldn't be in DBD or any Horror game in general horror games are suppose to make you feel scared and intimidated or if the killer is playable feel like you can have a chance at killing everyone with most of the playable ones.
Number 3 Map Balance
I think some of the maps could use a big overhaul the main one for example being Haddonfield
-
I like this concept at this point though if he gets in DBD he's gonna be one of the more unique killers (hopefully)
-
I can't really say much on the Survivors cause they all play the same
Killers I'd say Michael cause he makes the game very scary he just watches you and sometimes can sneak up on you.
Pyramid Head cause hearing that chase music while playing as and against him is fun also just hearing him drag that blade when he's undetectable is quiet nerve racking.
Demogorgan cause it's an animal and the creature can be very intimidating with his shred.
Leatherface cause he really gets you going when he's getting closer and closer with the chainsaw and it's puts me on edge when vsing him.
Nemesis cause it's a giant zombie chasing you and his AI zombies can sometimes scare you without warning around a corner or something.

In Entity's Gamble, all survivors and the killer will receive random perks, items and addons.
Survivors:
- Each will gain a random perk, but this is controlled random.
- The game randomly chooses an available survivor for you.
- The first perk you get is always related to what survivor your playing as. (Example, Dwight gets either Bond, Leader or Prove Thyself as his first perk.)
- The other three perks are random. HOWEVER, THERE CANNOT BE MORE THAN 1 IN EACH TEAM. (Example, Borrowed Time on 2 survivors is not possible.)
- There also cannot be more than one of the same survivors on the team.
- You'll get a random item of any tier, with random add-ons. NO SKELETON KEY, NO BLACK KEY.
Killers:
- Perks are randomly given.
- The killer is also randomly chosen.
- The first perk is always related to what killer your playing as. (Example, Nurse either gets Nurse's Calling, Thanaphobia or Strydor as her first perk.
- You'll receive random add-ons. The first addon will always be yellow or higher.
The Trial:
- The map is randomly chosen!
- 3 offerings are chosen at random! (No duplicates, no multiple moris, no ebony mori, no point boosters.)
- Endgame blood points are tripled to compensate for the chaos and promote fun.
I would be 100% down for this mode I really enjoy the mystery hero mode in Overwatch and this random mode on DBD would be awesome.
-
As a die hard Metroid fan I never thought I would see someone request the E.M.M.I for a killer it would be cool. Though I would prefer to see Ridley as a killer but even then he wouldn't work

So them stacking and being able to heal in 4 seconds was balanced?

Well, they typically have a name and title for the killers. I couldn't find any reference to Slender Man having a given name. It probably goes part and parcel with being an Eldridge Horror. But he is called lots of stuff. I picked The Faceless from a bulleted list for two reasons: (1) that is one of his most defining physical traits and (2) since this power works sort of in the inverse to The Ghost Face, it seemed poetic.
I think his name might just be The Slender Man like Ghostface and Demo but I mean the Faceless is good or maybe The Stalker

These are some good ideas for him I like it took me a moment to realize you named him the faceless

Before I began levelling up Laurie, every time I got tunnelled I was like "Damn, this is why DS is meta!"
Now that I have unlocked DS, I don't think I actually have even been able to use it, ever. It's either because the killer decided to tunnel me 61 seconds after I got unhooked because they didn't find me, or I touched a gen and forgot that it deactivates the perk.
Even if I was able to use it, I would use it a very little amount of times. It's such a situational perk that uses up a precious perk slot. Why is it meta?
I never cared about using DS I've used it a few times in the past when I was a console player and it was like whatever to me. A couple months ago I got it on PC and at that point was just so used to not ever using it that when I do bring it I never get to use it. It's probably the most useless perk for me.

Old Undying by a landslide. A lot of people that complained about old Undying's respawn elements acted as if every single game they were cleansing all the totems in the match. The truth of the matter was that 50% of the time, it behaved like current undying, and another 50% of the time, it took 3 cleanses which had a 50% chance of taking 4 cleanses ect. It also meant that if you ran a totem that existed at the start of the match with Undying, there was anti-synergy with NOED.
There are potentially 4 totems for the killer to juggle and they can keep coming an infinite amount of times, all while killers can't afford to be exploring the map. Oh yeah, and you can pick your spot whereas killers can't.
I agree I think after the PTB where the undying nerf was being tested I was using the undying in it's old state and almost half of my games were me loosing undying first and I was like it really needs nerf right?

This killer never loses I have noticed. Has his killrates been checked?
His 1-shot is too easy to down. No skill needed. He has no penalty for the only defense survivors have: pallets. He eats a pallets and with almost no stun, he is ready for a very long sweeping 1-shot that needs no skill to use. I don't think this is balanced at all.
Please look at this killer asap and change his power so he has to be smart with it. I'm really tired of every leatherface using Tinkerer and Bamboozle and getting a 4K every time because there is no counterplay.
Vault a window and turn the saw on for a very long time because the survivor can't get to another pallet in time.
So Leatherface hitting a wall with his chainsaw isn't a penalty even with the amount of charges he's used with a longer tantrum? What about Myers or Ghostface is there 1 shot easy to down with? Also do they have no skill cause you just hold down a button to stalk and than they're exposed.
