I recently made a thread not too long ago regarding this same thing but with Freddy. So far I've only played one game of Blight on my new Xbox account -- and that was a few weeks ago now -- despite having purchased him from the start of the account's creation. I'm just absolutely petrified of playing him. The only game I played was horrendous. It was a Springwood SWF where I was attempting to learn his chain rushes and lethals, and I was just plain abhorrent with it. Couldn't chain efficiently, barely hit lethal shots... and to make matters worse, I think I was so stressed that I forgot how to chain without lethalling lol...
I know better now, obviously, and I'm not a horrible player all-around, in case you're wondering. I'm just still worried. I'm about to hop into another match of him, and I suspect it'll go horribly, but if there's one thing I've learned over the years with DBD, it's that you've got to try and try again and learn in the process in order for results to start showing. Having recently converted to console, that's rather hard...
But I just want some tips. What perks should I use (and I'd appreciate limiting it to Blight's own accessible ones, because I've only got limited teachables -- new account, after all), what add-ons should I run in the beginning, etc... I'm currently sitting with a rather 'meh' build: NOED (shush, I'm not good with Blight), Sloppy, Dragon's, and Unrelenting (that's substituted for Undying), and I have Umbra Salts and Foxglove equipped as I don't want to auto-consume my better ones.
Thanks in advance. I do like playing Blight.
Edit: I just had my second game with him. I absolutely love him! I landed what I consider some insane Lethals, snared a 4k, and had an abundant amount of fun in the process! So thrilling.
1 take notes of what you hit and slide off of it helps you be a lot more consistent with your bounces
2. Dont over use your power use it to catch up between loops
3. If you are going to use your power at loops pay attention to your environment it helps for when you can and cannot use it
Example: shack bounce off the door opposite of pallet. sometimes a tree spawns directly to your left on the corner if you think they are going to vault hit that tree and get your hit.
4: information perks are great bbq discordance tinkerer. All are great because you can act on it
5 practice
These are just general tips practice to tee what works best for you

I dont think Nurse is as hard to learn as some maker out to be, but she definitely has the hardest skill cap. Blight has IMO probably one of the easiest powers to learn alls you do is bump into a wall and rush the survivor. This is coming from a Blight main
If you simplify it then yes your statement is correct but deffently not the easiest power to learn
because you can learn how to use your power at what loops and make a read on what they may do and have to pay attention to your environment to figure of you can do your read and consider time to get from point a to c to get your hit.

Yes but I want it to be a decaying skill so you aren't stuck at the best forever

I still don't see the H. I feel like I'm just looking in the wrong place because English isn't my native language. Can someone circle it, please?
I dont see it either it looks like wood texture

If the H isn't a clue, it could still spell Raise.
If that's true then it cant be hell raiser

"E" is the most common letter in the English language (just count how many are in this sentence alone). I'd be surprised if there weren't any words with the letter "E" associated with FNAF.
Thanks I tried to say this but I physically couldn't type so I gave up

copied the tweet into google translate, which offered an interesting alternate translation:
'I wonder if you are throwing a knife into E. feeling'
Gotta love google translate

The very first letter was an S, though…
Fair but it also could be the attractions if they pull a nemmisis with multiple.
Or it could be making a quote that would be off my theory

True.
Also, translating the tweet I get “Can you throw knives like Ei?” Ei is probably a google mistranslation, not sure
I dont know nothing pops up when I search ei so either its intentional or it's part of the name

E...rules out Springtrap and Hellraiser remains possible
Yeah unless they are including the word (the) as the name

Ok so this is fun and all but does anyone know when the chapter reveal will happen.
I'm so curious.
Probably the 15 or 14th

The Hellraiser - Pinhead
Hopefully but I can't deny the possibility

Wait a h was found what could have an h in it
Unless the h is a red herring which would be smart because that is the chapter and map the perk came out on

It doesn't make sense i can vault a window and some how get hit threw the window all because her hatchets are circular it doesn't make sense.
They tried to make it a rectangle but the hit boxes between the surivor and hatchet were so jank that it would go straight through you 90% of the time so they reverted it
and changing the surivors hurt box would make every killer get hits they shouldn't

For those who dont think he has a power, the game in which he is from, he has hallucinations to tramatize the player in the game, i can see that being his power.
Heres an idea to play with Hallucinations that i would personally would like to see. Place a hallucination that interacts with survivors diiferently depending on where its place.
Springtrap can place up to 4 Hallucinations at a time. After a Hallucination is triggered, it returns to use and becomes usable again after 60 seconds. Each Hallucination will have their own individual timer.
All Hallucinations return after 1 minute in which it will immediately be available to place.
After a hallucination is triggered, Springtrap gains Undetectable for 15 seconds.
when placed, will stand watch and charge towards any survivor that runs within 16 meters, revealing causing them to scream for 4 seconds and gain exhausted for 10 seconds.
when placed near a totem by 6 meters, will cause a survivor to scream for 4 seconds if they start cleansing, causing the hex tied to the totem to move, losing a token if it possesses one, the totem will be revealed to all players for 8 seconds.
When placed near a gen by 6 meters, will cause the survivor to scream for 4 seconds and block the gen for 10 seconds.
when placed right under a pallet, will hold the pallet for 3 seconds when a survivor passes through the hallucination. (does not cause screaming.)
traps can be placed 6 meters away from Springtrap and take 5 seconds to become active.
I think this would make for an interesting power set up. Only issue is the possibility of a strong 3 gen situation but survivors can work on the right gens to prevent this, especially with the lack of mobility with him.
Ohh like that idea so I'm gonna put my spin on it
I'm gonna call him the attraction
.1 the attraction can crawl on the ground simmlar to pig but without an ambush option while is this mode he is granted the undetectable status effect but makes like a radio noise within 4m /moves at 100% in this mode
2. The attraction can create hallucinations that will roam for a specific amount of time then dissapear (90s)ish if a hallucination comes in contact with a surivor they get a jumpscare and will be afflicted with the fear status effect for 30s
Fear causes random skill checks to appear and missing will will cause you to scream and have fake attractions crawl at you you can still do actions with fear
3. the attraction has 2 specal ability while crouched 1passive 1active
3.1 when moving towards a scream icon caused by fear while crawling he will gain a 50% haste for 5s (sprintburst speed)
3.2 while crawling and looking at a surivor with the fear status effect you will gain a pounce option similar to Victor's pounce getting a hit or missing will remove fear and apply mangled and do a health state if you hit with a special animation if you down them.
Hallucinations go through walls but the attraction cant see their auras
Thanks for the idea.

Yeah, maybe you have a special attack that applies the effect on a survivor, then you use it again on another and it completes the link. Heck, at that point you might as well be able to link all the survivors. The only question is should that special attack do damage?
Ohh what if it's a short ranged attack like nemmisis that dosent do damage until you press the second ability to lock their souls together and when one takes damage all of them do and it breaks the chain
-
I mean he fits better than trickster aesthetic wise and you shouldn't have to worry about children in the game if your above rank 20 lol

@Jivetalkin13 said:
Would a power that allowed the killer to tie two survivor health states together work or be overpowered? Say you tie two survivors health states, let's call it "binding their fates" for simplicity, if you hit one survivor, the survivor that had their fate bound is also injured.
Of course this would be a power exclusive to a new killer, it would be crazy if every killer was able to do this with a perk or something.
Sounds interesting there would probably be a requirement to get that to work

Nope, I never use twitter.
So I wouldn't know.
Same just people on yt if where I got it from

Well
It couldn't be the the letters dropping on Twitter in the same style of how spring trap was revealed
Personally I dont want him here either but if they do well they did well

I mean, survivors don't really have any unique abilities most of the time outside of just...running. What else are they gonna do? I agree that killer powers should become less precise and punishing but you can't really complain about survivors using their singular only ability to fight back
Well perks are their special abilities in a sense but they can be used almost unconditionally
You dont see killers with perks that drastically change how killers play and the few that do are hexs with conditions to be achieved to be useful

People are complaining about blight ? Why?
all you have to do is press A or D
Eh not exactly it's more of getting out of range of a hit so trying to bait him so he swings the wrong way
Or you could do the easy option turn around and press e and hope the blight makes the mistake of swinging at you
-
@TheClownIsKing said:
Killers lately: power requires unforgiving precision.
Survivor: just run erratically. I.e. requires NO SKILL WHATSOEVER.
This is heavily debatable but I agree
My best example is trickster you dont see surivors having to manage recoil on a moving target while having to take in consideration distance for you to hit them

I went up against a killer who brought 4 Hex perks, and I knew one of them has haunted grounds (Spirit player)
We lost because of Devour Hope and i'm wondering if it would have been better to cleanse them all or not, since I knew the location of 3/4 of the Hex perks she had.
(She also had that one perk which lets you know if someone is working on a Hex totem btw)
Best bet is small game or Jill's counter force if the killer has haunted ground just risk it and try to hide out the min.
If they have thrill of the hunt just keep pestering her about the totem
Eventually she will have to commit to a chase and then you get it
-
Spin off of phasmamain idea
for every surivor you injure in frenzy your fatigue is reduced cap at a 2s fatigue. the surivors max time before you get Injured gets smaller minmual of 4s And increasing your speed. Up to 135%

He can down you in 3 seconds from healthy with a RANGED ATTACK, and has pretty much infinite knives. And his knives have no counter that isn't "hope that he's bad" or "stay at a high wall loop the whole game". If that's not OP what is?
Yes with 2 purple addons and 2m away from you

all tier three

2.Lithe (flashlight with duo, if no duo i go medkit)
3.Iron Will
4.Spinechill
i also run this other build sometimes
-------------------
1.Selfcare
2.Lightweight
3.Borrowed Time
4.Lithe
Alert and light weight are the most useless in the picks but the others can do good

If it's not re I wouldn't be surprised if its Jason. In his game he sheds through baracaded doors
-
Idk it might be. If the lawsuit is over which it isint its been going on for 4 years it should be soon.
Assuming bhvr was working with the owner they could allready have everything planned out.
And the owner would make a pretty penny
And I very well could see him being a paragraph he comes to life and in the movies Tommy eventually comes around
So jason released. Then Tommy rolls in around mid chapter.

Devs have already stated to not want Perks that very much counter a specific Killer's Power.
But then procides to buff ironwill and not fix it

I didnt think of it like that sorry for your loss
-
The only reason they are useless is because their pathing logic is garbage
Like there's probably not even a script to detect if theres a wall infront of them to make them change directions
So then you get zeds that spawn in the corner of the map that look at trees the entire game love running across red forest to hit a l zombie that's gonna get stuck again
-
True tho they need to fix his trap aoe
My mans was standing on it
-
Idk jason has opened up again as an option now that the lawsute is over
But it's looking more to candy man with the movie coming out soon
But I can't deny the possibility of rabbit man coming into the game
-
I've decided to cosplay as the pig in dbd and use urban to scare people
-
Cool idea but sadly useless for the time it takes
-
I predict they are going to adjust ai pathing logic so they dont stare at trees for the entire game and then change his addons because they are pretty bad
-
I dont see an issue with the movement speed and he had the piercing addons and the. Explosion addon essentially making every knife do 50%extra damage
-
Twice the size twice the speed

Maybe you should get used to not getting so many Hits at Pallets anymore? And dont swing at them that often?
For me, I got three Hits rejected so far. Other than that, I dont notice any difference. MAYBE as Survivor, but I cannot say for sure, since I dont see the Killer perspective.
So I should just forget how momentum works if your swinging an object down and throw something down ontop of it it's going to stop in place?
