I had that problem on Steam as well but I changed my Server Browser Pings / Minute to a lower value and I manage a consistent 60 ping usually whilst others struggle on 100+. It's really weird I need to change my Steam settings because the game doesn't know what it's doing.

Yeah, I have mine set to the lowest (250). Have also just recently optimized my ethernet settings to see if it'd do anything, but all it really did was load things faster. Ping is still around 80-100.

  • the servers really, really need to get looked at, and they’ve progressively have gotten worse since the recent mid-chapter.

i’ve seen some streamers, and from my personal experience, get placed in servers that were barely stable and still do, and sometimes the game servers disconnect in the middle of a game.

i live in the middle of the US and i legit get placed in non-US servers more than i am on my own servers and i do not use a VPN.

averaging 87-100 ping solo queue’ing but i’ve noticed i have normal ping when i SWF with people relatively close to me

and if i had tbh, killers get carried by bad ping, so many hits that shouldn’t even register but they do. i’ve also hit some pretty jank m1’s.

i’d honestly choose better netcode among other bugs right now. playing on unstable servers or getting placed in random servers outside the US just isn’t fun.

kinda silly when it comes down to having to deal with it or VPNing your own servers for better ping, etc.

It's always nice when people hide behind empty statements when they know they have no counter argument. But hey, why even bother giving an explanation if the other side won't even properly respond to it. Either give me reasons why DH against insta down powers has to do with skill issues or perhaps just don't say anything if you don't have anything to say. And to answer your pointless comment: I'm not upset just confused about how people countering my power with DH by staying injured the whole match is apparently a skill issue.

I will admit, being able to DH against special attacks shouldn't be a thing. Super silly.

So what you’re saying is dh is not the problem cheaters are…

    Wouldn't that be everyone then?

  • Dead Hard is only really a problem against people who know how to use it and certain killers like Blight where it can be troublesome but other than that, the perk is so damn ping-reliant. Most of the time people waste it prematurely, even then it's just easy to bait.

I promise as playing both survivor and killer, and playing killer more recently, I have only gone against a literal cheater using auto-DH once and they still died. Most of my games, everyone either DH's prematurely or I'll just bait it.

If you have this mindset where you have to 'act' like every survivor has it and let it get to you, you've obviously already lost. While it's smart to predict, you shouldn't let that idea determine the outcome of the match.

  • @Gamall said:

There's no need to let us know that you, like at least 70% of the crybabies killer in here, are so lacking in skill issues that you have to resort to tunnelling/camping to try and get the 4k you so desperately deserve (and you are entitled to). Obviously it's the addition of dots to the side of the survivor icons that's sure to make you lose a lot of matches, and not because you may find yourself playing as you go up MMR with more and more skilled people, it's so hard to admit you're not up to scratch isn't it?

As if killers didn't already tunnel since the beginning of the ages then... you know what's new

I was just trying to be respectful about it. I just started maining killer this past week and it still feels the same before this update: I don't feel pressured or forced to play a certain way and can still play however I want. Obviously, survivors are doing gens now, but it is still literally the same as before.

And with queue times being super fast after this update and MMR feeling like it doesn't exist currently, I just don't get how people are still struggling. People get this premonition from a change that it's going to "force" them to play a certain way because everyone is just going to become gencrankerpro9000 gods when that is so not true. I am still going against people who hide, bully squads, or people who do gens but aren't that great at looping so it's just easy gen pressure and downs. Even the current gen layouts make it super easy for killer.

Tunneling/slugging went from being strategically used to just abused because killers are too lazy to get better.

You fail to understand the issue. I've killed all teams I've versed since my post. I've simply stopped playing nice. (With one exception as they had one AFK). I can still raise the bar a couple of times. Certainly once with add-ons, and one more with strong add-ons.

Now I have no choice but play efficiently. It's not fun for me and I'm pretty sure my opponents didn't enjoy it one bit.

I expect the tunnelling complains will rise along with the gen-rush ones.

You playing "nice" has nothing to do with this update. That is a you issue.

Nothing is stopping you from playing serious or nice.

"It's annoying when survivors just immerse the whole game and I can never find anyone"

"HUD icons? I'm being gen rushed now!!!!!!!!"

  • I've had literally 0 issue since this update, granted I've lost attrition a couple times but that was just a me issue, other than that, I'm still 3-4king people, if you are allowing survivors to crank gens that fast, that is a you problem. Gen progression showing on the HUD now is no different than before.

I find it incredibly hard to believe people are still struggling after queue times being super fast now and lobbies feeling essentially free.

  • My highlight of the day is coming on the forums and reading these posts and comments. I cannot take this stuff serious.

  • I've been having the same issue since I've started playing, and even though I live in the midwest, I shouldn't be averaging 76-120 ping with good internet and connected to ethernet. I am relatively close to both NA servers for it to not even be that high, and I have even tried changing DNS servers and that maybe removed.. 4 ping?

It actually sucks because that ping may not seem bad but it's definitely noticeable. There's also streamers I watch that live on the east coast with 1gig up and down that average the same ping as me and that doesn't seem legit at all. I just assume it's bad netcode because there have been instances where trials I've been in almost crapped the bed and it definitely feels like DBD servers more than my own internet because I average 20-40 ping on MW2.

In other words: "Killer playing to win without using any third party software aka cheating ruins the game for other people."

"I too can make up an imaginary/hypothetical scenario"

Yes, you can and you have, for years upon years on end, its called "tunneling and camping", let me translate those for you, its called "playing the game", if you dont like it, go play single player games, multiplayer games aint for you.

Aight ima play to win 10x from now on, so the players that actually want to play single player games but dont know it yet will wisen up to that FACT, since you're speaking of facts.

Good luck with Elden Ring, i've heard its a hard game.

no one is saying people can’t tunnel or camp, but people ABUSE what’s given to them. and those people should know it comes at a cost.

"killers playing to win without using any third party software aka cheating ruins the game for other people" is such an ignorant assumption.

killers tunneling and camping when the situation calls for it is strategic, harassing someone out of the game is entirely different.

let me break it down for you.

killers abusing a mechanic without much repercussion is not strategic. it’s oppressive and abusing game mechanics.

it seems you are here to just troll as you’ve been on other posts calling everyone bad, it makes me wonder if you’re in the same bracket as those bad players. which is probably why you’re here having a hard time understanding people differentiate camping and tunneling as a strat and completely harassing someone out of the game.

  • I think people heavily misconstrue.

Now of course, this was from the beginning pitched as an experiment, with no plans to hit live servers, but it still shocked me that a change, that would so massivly punish one side to adress a comparatively small issue for the other, was even considered.

It wasn't just a small issue, basekit Unbreakable would help against the killers that abuse slugging. It's been happening quite a lot as of lately. I don't know if the devs will even do this anyways cause of survivors finding ways to exploit and abuse it. Both sides abuse tools that are given to them for their entertainment until fixed, however, killers are still able to abuse a mechanic against their own will, making it very fun and unengaging for survivors. Not every killer uses slugging as a strat and rather a way to abuse.

Then still later I noticed that the majority of Survivors in my games both as Survivor and as Killer were toxic towards the Killer, waiting at the exit gates in a 100% save spot just to tea bag when the Killer apporached them or going into a game with their friends without actually playing to win, instead just stunning the Killer over and over again.

I still can't seem to understand this from many people. If you see survivors teabagging at the gate or wasting time instead of trying to go for saves; pressure them out? I don't get how that is toxic unless they are blocking you into a corner and BMing.

Why is Survivor satification important enough to upset the entire games balance over it, but Killer satification is reduced to win statistics? Killer players aren't bots who will be happy as long as enough Survivors die, we are also playing this game to have fun, but the direction and motivation behind the changes to this game that I have witnessed make me fear, that there is a, perhaps unintentional, philosophy towards "Survivors play, Killers perform".

Tell that to the killers that only serve a purpose of making it completely unengaging and not fun for the other side rather than playing their role respectively. Honestly, both sides aren't innocent of this, but to ask why "survivor satisfaction is important enough to upset the entire game balance" is a stretch. There needs to be a fine-tuned balance for both sides to "play". Killers "performing" is rather a personality than intended gameplay.

I will say the last few patches weren't that great, but the devs seem to be listening and taking steps into the right direction. I may not agree with most changes and mechanics, but that doesn't mean the devs won't listen and try fine-tuning things for both sides.

Nurse is still relatively strong as I feel 'Jenner's Last Breath' will get nerfed for release. They kinda made Knight more anti-loopable.

HUD icons aren't going to drastically change the game, just help people get the memo to do their job, which I fear may not be effective enough, but that's just me and we will see.

Do you think it'd be fair if killers could still insta-down the same survivor they hooked after being unhooked? People want the trial to end fairly quick, but not in 5 seconds. That defeats the purpose of having challenge. Plus, it is still super easy to wait out the endurance effect. It should be punishable for the killer but that doesn't disincentivize killers enough to get them to understand they could be making a bad play.

  • I’d love to see tunneling and slugging become more punishing for the killer instead of adding more anti-tunnel perks.

Honestly, I can see Dead Hard getting the same treatment as Decisive Strike soon.

Eruption doesn’t need to get nerfed into the ground, just the incapacitated timer needs a rework into something else, and I definitely agree with blocking the gen for x amount of time.

OTR is a perk I’m a bit controversial on: for how strong it may look, not many use it, including myself. I honestly only run it if I’m shaking up my builds or just had enough of getting tunneled. It’s a nice perk, but doesn’t really punish killers that will commit regardless. Sort of like your idea, a window of protection that isn’t an endurance effect, that has a fair timer.

Gen regression perks shouldn’t stack but still allow passive aggressive perks like Merciless Storm, Oppressive, etc.

I do think Decisive Strike got nerfed into the ground and is basically useless to run now but stunning the killer for 5 seconds and breaking into a sprint of 150% for 3 seconds is a bit too much, but my main concern is it deactivating after taking a protection hit for the remainder of the trial, making it useless in return. You’d have to be selfish and not a team player.

I’m not understanding the hook rework that well, it’s like it encourages killers to get 4 first hooks, but punishes for 2nd hook states. Will it encourage survivors to reach 2nd state to force the gen kick penalty or encourage killers to just slug to avoid the base kick regression speed penalty?

I do think after a certain while camping a hook, the killers aura becomes visible to other survivors and some sort of basekit Kinship for the beginning of the trial, and not the end. This is what Kindred was meant for, but survivors still ran from it so I’m skeptical on if this would even work.

Make Prove Thyself effect 1 other teammate.

BNP shouldn’t even exist, but that’s just me.

I do agree Stake Out should have a longer timer to be in TR to gain a token, but it really isn’t ran enough to be a problem. Same with Fast Track; I feel this perk also needs a nerf because being able to stack up to 27 tokens is insane, but not ran enough to be a problem.

Overall, I like the ideas, but I can see there being complaints as usual. It’d be helpful if we had a PTB up at all times where the devs could throw random stuff in for us to test and all agree on what would work and what wouldn‘t, but I can understand why it wouldn’t be a good idea.

1.) I couldn’t care less about the nurse nerf, it’s more annoying that after she got nerf, instead of enjoying the fact that nurse finally got nerfed, survivors would rather just skip and go to the next killer who needs nerfs

survivor mains only care about themselves. They never advocate for any of the weak killers to get buffed like trapper or pig. And instead make post about deleting killers because “I can’t loop it”

so yes, I’m dramatic that killers are getting nerfed 1 by 1. But you lack empathy, narcissistic tendencies of course.

i play both sides but mainly survivor and i'd love to see a buff to pig, a rework to freddy's and pyramid heads add-ons, honestly a buff to hag so she doesn't solely have to rely on camping with her traps to be efficient enough.

literally no other killers need nerfing right now, just perks and add-on rework; same with survivors. some perks are in need of adjustments. not all survivors are entitled.

unless you run a SWF, survivor isn't going to be much easier for you.

It doesn't happen a lot but it is something I'm concerned about.

I'm usually pretty good at dodging and there's a lot of players on Crossplay. Like I said, it used to happen a lot more when there wasn't cross play and MMR was stricter.

I know sometimes (this may not be your case) if someone DCs, it also affects another person in the game. Most times I just assume I get DDoSed when disconnected from the game, but I've also noticed me DCing also caused others to DC. I don't know if it's just bad netcode or not or just convenience. Same with others that DC, sometimes it affects me too as I assume I just get booted offline as well.

Dead Hard has nothing to do with tunneling except you have to tunnel people out to deal with the free escapes that perk creates.

It very much does have something to do with tunneling. Not immediately off the hook, but I have seen it.

you’d be surprised how some killers respond to dead hard.

    1. Blight
    2. Spirit

  • @Emeal said:

On the contrary, its exactly ON POINT. An aggravating game calls for aggravating strategies. 3 healthstates is too much.

I have been there before so I understand the aggravation completely, do you think wasting precious time to out a survivor is too much? I bet people will say it's not enough.

Do you think survivors using the only protection they have to counter being tunneled out of the game is too much? I expect many to say it is.

You see those 3 health states were probably intended to protect survivors from being tunneled out, but from a poor execution of mechanics, it allowed them to abuse it as second chance perks and reset chase. Can you blame them as it's the only counter to killers that tunnel? Poor execution of mechanics that allows both sides to abuse them at their own volition, but people would rather see it as it simply being "one sided" and "EZ mode" for survivors. I guess killers are the ones that are supposed to EZ mode survivors without a chance for survivors to redeem themselves, because killers should make the environment as less engaging and punishing as possible.

  • @Emeal said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3309739#Comment_3309739

You mean you dont understand how a 1vs 4 can be aggravating? I just had a match vs 4 Dead Hard gamers, now THAT is aggravating.

That has nothing to do with the principle of the matter. At this rate, the game in general is aggravating.

  • Happens quite often.

This is honestly a cycle at this point that will never end.

Killers use "survivor rulebook" as a defense mechanism to their playstyles but have their own rulebook we survivors must follow?

x item, x playstyle, x lobby incentivizes killers to tunnel/play a certain way because the game is "survivor-sided and every lobby is a toxic SWF"

killers run x build, x playstyle and call survivors bad when they voice their opinions because it's creating an unhealthy atmosphere to the game

    I don't get it.

But that's the thing, if the problem is your teammates... Why attack the regression perks when the problem is the matchmaking?

DbD survivor is a team based game and you're not going to carry everyone solo, that's just how it works. I do play other team based games like League of Legends, Pokemon Unite and Overwatch but I do know how to differentiate when I lost because of my teammates, because of game balance or because of my lack of skill and each of these problems have completely different solutions which should not mix together.

because regression perks are also part of the problem, mainly Eruption.

i feel most are weak and only benefit from stacking, but regression perks shouldn’t be stackable with Eruption when it has a 25s incapacitated timer.

they really can’t do much more to matchmaking except maybe adding a competitive mode where MMR comes in play and remove MMR from pubs so it’s balanced, but it still wouldn’t be the saving grace for the current meta.

current meta hurts inexperienced players, and it also prolongs the game to a stalemate until people had enough. as i said, changing matchmaking wouldn’t solve the underlying issue with the current meta, killers would just see more SWFs/competent-like survivors and just complain because "me kick gen, me camp 3 gen, me make game last 2 hours long" won’t work for them.

  • Are you sure it was no reason? Let's do some math. There are 4 survivors and each one does generators four times faster than your base regression.

Survivors doing their objective doesn't merit the killer to focus tunneling a survivor the whole game. This is rather a skill difference and possible BMing from fragile egos.

I had gone against a Pinhead the other day playing solo queue, he would not leave me alone even if he was losing chase, the final pallet stun on him made him camp my downed body in front of my teammates and just stared at my body M1ing it as he tried letting me bleed out and ignore everything else but my other teammates were competent enough to pull him away and go for the save.

Gen rushing doesn't merit you tunneling, that will just encourage the survivors to gen rush. The total opposite of what a killer wants. Which is a reason why the current meta is so effective but punishing.

I'm sorry, but losing because of a 3 gen is no excuse. Even with Call of Brine, regression is only half of the speed a solo repairing, meaning that for every 2 seconds of regression you would only need one to undo the damage. On a 3 gen scenario, all you have to do is brute force it and when you get hit you go to the other side of the map to heal, which can get really efficient with CoH. If the killer follows you, your teammates finish the gen, if he comes back to the 3 gen just rinse and repeat until the 3 gen is broken. Regression is always slower than progression, so your case is merely a skill issue.

Running to the other side of the map in a corner to heal is merely a skill issue. That's where survivors lose attrition against a good killer.

  • @DEMONANCE said:

yes killer has never been easier and stronger only thing hindering the killer experience rn is bad map design. but if you still struggle as killer rn you're bad at the game i am sorry unless you're at a hellish mmr or certain regions.

plus have you seen otz play? every time i watch him i wonder how does this guy have thousands of hours on killer. he struggles with most killers who require mecanical skill, the way he runs loops are questionable most of the time, he does a mistake after a mistake after a mistake and yet guess what he still has a very high winrate lol.

It baffles me seeing people having to rely on tunneling and slugging to win when it’s literally a dumb move and only benefits you if situation allows it.

People see 1 gen get done and seem to think they’ve already lost so they start tryharding by slugging and tunneling then wonder why they lost

  • I tend to correct my actions if I make any, if I’m feeling sympathetic for survivors for being a little too harsh on them, I’ll tone the sweating down and give them a chance to get back up, escape, or do whatever they need to do (minus BM). If I feel like I am tunneling or slugging, I’ll stop and find something else to do like check gens or find another survivor to pick up the downed survivor. (survivors still seem to complain and accuse me of tunneling and slugging even though I wasn’t trying to and I’ll even mention I didn’t mean to and let them get saved lol)

There are times where I’ll have bad games playing survivor and I’ll apologize to my teammates once the game’s over, same with killer - I’ll mention I was playing like crap even if I got complimented and got told gg’s. Or sometimes I’ll just throw salt in the wound and regain next game.

  • @Steakdabait said:

it's a mechanic, but at the range you got hit im guessing there was some lag or something.

I just re-enacted this in a custom game against bots, same map and same Wesker build. you actually have to wait for the cooldown to M1 after rushing over a pallet with virulent bound, so, whether it's a bug or not, is beyond me.

    @BloodBird said:

@Steakdabait What mechanic is that? When I play wesker, whenever you vault a pallet with virulent bound there is a cooldown before you can attack or use another bound, I saw an animation of a swing, I've never heard of this mechanic.

It could be an animation cancelling bug as I know there are a couple bugs with Wesker right now, but don't quote me on that. I would just submit a ticket at https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new with evidence and describe the situation you encountered. The forums isn't a place to report people as they have a no name-shaming rule.

  • As @GuyInABlackTee mentioned, hook suiciding is just a symptom and not the root cause, and what he was trying to get at was simply giving survivors a huge debuff like that for attempting to hook suicide will just cause more depopulation and encourage more DCing/survivors throwing.

Basekit Unbreakable at least gives you a chance, punishing survivors by accumulating the broken status timer by 20s per failed unhook attempt will just make the symptom worse. It may sound good on paper, but terrible in practice.

I think the only way to address hook suiciding is getting down to the root cause as others mentioned, which could probably take some time as there could be multiple factors causing it.

  • may as well just add basekit Deliverance. lol

20s per failed unhook attempt, I could see this having a way worse outcome than basekit Unbreakable.

  • Haven't come across an obvious cheater in months but during Christmas break, 5, subtly. Tried their hardest to make it look like they were playing legit then "slip" when it was convenient for them.

    • Mikaela vaulting through my Bamboozle, somehow faster than me, boots me offline when I down them on their 2nd hook at EGC
    • Default Steve insta-healing to full in front of me while downed and no one near him healing
    • 1st Plague with a random name/private profile running a Than/gen slowdown build, aimbotting through the middle temple of Eyrie seconds after hooking a teammate on the other side of it, 1 shotting with Vile, and zipping around tiles abnormally fast to slug for pressure then goes back to playing normally
    • 2nd Plague running a gen slowdown build with suspiciously faster than normal base movement speed, running backwards alongside tiles flicking (which I found hilarious)

Also watched Otz live go against a Bubba on Lery's that was playing legit and normal until towards the end and just let out the speed hacks to slug around basement/lab area. Within the same week over the course of Christmas, this is how many I've encountered.

  • Playerbase is dwindling, I don’t think splitting it even more would be a good idea.

SWFs are going to exist as long as the game exists.

  • Icons, maybe. Kindred still seems to not be effective for solo queue. I've been in games where Kindred still wasn't enough intel for my random teammates, or, they'd see the killers aura and hide on the other side of the map.

I suggested a week ago or so I think some sort of ping/communication wheel would help immensely for solo queue.

Oh god this reminds of toxic TTVs who accuse everyone who plays killer of sniping just because they see their aura from BBQ lol

    New perk: BBQ & Sniping

No, but I recommend going into a custom game and getting familiar with every perk killers have before jumping into accusations. Also take note of what perks they’re using at Match Result. I’d say if they weren’t using aura-reading perks and saw you from a great distance, could be filters or something sus.

I don't believe people when they say all they get is hard tunneled and camped. I just don't believe them. For starters, it's mathematically impossible for it to happen to EVERYONE. If even one person gets this treatment, that means 3 other people didn't.

Second of all, people exaggerate. A killer hooking you, then leaving to kick the gen the next tile over, then come back when someone unhooks you isn't camping. Likewise a killer that downs you twice in a row because you ran somewhere less smart than your unhooker and nobody tried to help you isn't hard tunnelling. Hard tunneling is where you literally ignoring EVERYHING else, from bodyblocks to gens about to pop, even throwing the game, to make sure one person dies at all costs. THAT is hard tunnelling.

Well, it’s true. Would you like video evidence?

I have personally watched a killer tunnel someone they had hooked and got unhooked until something came about, they literally ignored everything else. They just committed to tunneling that person out and it’s been happening quite frequently since before the new chapter.

Camping as well, I have also been going against killers that will just camp hook at the start and won’t leave hook, or will camp someone they downed until they bleed out or decide to hook. It isn’t happening every game, but it’s becoming frequent

The thing is that a lot of killers might be nice then you think and let you go away after getting unhooked to reset (unless it's the end game already), but certain actions will void your immunity and signify to its that you're OK to stay in the game abs don't need or want no time out. Bodyblocking to shield the unhooker and "abuse" the basekit BT is the most prominent contender, but blinding the killer and potentially destroying some of their work and win condition is a hot follow-up.

EDIT: and of course, we all have our pet peeves. That other guy gets triggered by beamers, I get triggered by sabotage attempts. I have so severely burned by sabos in the past that I will usually come down unreasonable hard on you. You touch my hooks, you die, and if I have to hardtunnel and camp you and basically throw the game.

    What grinds your gears? :)

I have mixed feelings on certain playstyles and feel it's part of the game.. due to bad game design.

I could see if survivors were BMing, then all means necessary. Can you blame them for body-blocking the unhooker when the killer can just tunnel the unhooked survivor out? If the killer can tunnel someone out, why can't survivors protect them from being tunneled, since how common tunneling is? It's part of the game. The game allows it.

    What grinds your gears? :)

Honestly, when killers/survivors BM for no reason, run a killer for a whole game and only 1 gen pops when I finally get caught, slugged and/or tunneled at 4-5 gens. Teammates that throw, the norm. Entitlement being the biggest.

  • same here, think the cheaters were let out of jail for Christmas break.

went against 3 in a row the other morning - a default Nancy outrunning me while I had BL and a moonsaw build on a 50/50 then conveniently hiding scratch marks right in front of me, next game, Mikaela vaulting through my Bamboozle, was also somehow faster than me and then booted me offline after I downed them on last hook, next game was a default Steve insta-healing to full while downed.

also watched Otz live go against a speed-hacking Bubba that was playing legit at first.

I had to chase that clown down!

If two minutes of circling a pile of trash doesn't ENTITLE me to a hook, what does?

    But, I don't care. I use Lightborn.

Sounds like a lot of clowning around

  • Oh, the tears rolling down my face. I wish someone were here to collect them.

Flashlights encourages tunneling. As killer main I'll tunnel out people who blind me when I'm trying to hook. Don't care if you just got off your going right back up.

It pretty much applies to anything...

so how are i and/or my teammates supposed to unhook/save? are we supposed to give you a free grab? i'll never get the entitlement killers have.

  • I think you meant to say slugging to keep pressure, have never experienced a killer tunnel to keep Eruption proccing, and sounds like more waste of time for the killer than they'd lose slugging.

  • I'll never understand why people try so hard to defend tunneling/slugging. As someone who plays both sides, you will literally cost yourself the game (unless you're going against bad players) so it really isn't worth it. I have had bad games and good games, without having the need to tunnel or slug. Not only is it brainless play, it makes the match boring, nothing gained other than someone just wanting to ruin the vibe for people.

To me, it seems like it is nothing but a panacea for players that can't mind-game, get outran by Lithe/other mobility perks and resort to calling those survivors cheaters in match result chat after DCing, or just struggle overall. It also seems the majority that favors tunneling are console players, which act entitled, and are generally toxic.

I honestly have rarely come across toxic killers on PC - normally, they say "ggwp" and "gl on next" whereas most of the BMing killers come from console, and to be fair, it sucks. I do not care, I will DC. It doesn't matter whether or not I could just play serious and run the killer around the map, there's no objective anymore; it's just "I'm gonna make this match drag out as long as possible and make people play passive and wonder why everyone was hiding/escaped"

People play this game way too serious and act like the world will end if they can't slug/tunnel a 4k at 5 gens, all because they see their favorite streamer do it. It is killing the game. How can anything come to light when you chase what's left out of the game?

Don't mean to sound rude and hope everyone has a good Christmas.

  • Should have included I've noticed when this happens, the Knight also momentarily has no terror radius.
