Most Freddy players were bad killers that just relied on his forever build. They just switched to other easy but easily rewarded killers (against randos) like Bubba and Wraith
Freddy players that didn't use slowdown add-ons basically felt no difference in his gameplay. Reminder that the walking slowdown while placing snares only happens when the snare is fully charged and the player is holding it, which basically happens never, so that was a non-nerf
Like most "nerfs", what BHVR did was just a placebo and the nerf is just in the reduced number of people playing that killer
-
Using 4x BNP for the first gen is a waste though. BNPs best use would be for the last gen when the killer already has built pressure
-
Necroing because i saw the link in another thread
I kinda agree with most of them, the one i disagree the most is pig. Most pigs play her just as an M1 killer with built in slowdown, they have no idea how to use the dash, which is core part of her power, meaning they didn't even understand her
I'd keep her intermediate

I second to this

These stats say absolutely nothing

The only thing i can think about with these queues is all the people in this forum always being like "with all the BUFFS to SURVIVORS there won't be anymore killers! You want infinite survivor queues??"
Oop

I might be going out tonight but anyway hope you feel better regardless if you stream o/

Nurse. Other than the last rifts cosmetic, there were no new skins for 1+ years, and she doesn't have that many to begin with

I play 3 or 4 times more survivor than killer and I can tell you without a doubt that spirit is fine. It's mediocre survivors that refuse to learn or change how they play that think she's OP and needs a need. Even the data shows she's only slightly above the average when it comes to average kills for killers.
Dude you could have 20 hrs total play time of which 16 as survivor making it "4 times more than killer" how is that validating your opinion at all?
-
The thing it actually *is* the issue. The problem is that BHVRs way of dealing with these issues is through perks and minor tweaks that don't actually address the real problem (look at Freddy, that changed nothing of his original gameplay, or the upcoming trickster buff)

Yes hopefully the mega nurse buff comes soon to help her horrifically under performing statistics
Why should nurse be buffed? In fact, looking at statistics (since it's your argument), she is perfectly fine with her 50% kill rate. Actually, all killers should be nerfed to reach her same stats, because they're clearly over performing.

Okay we don't link but when we play together me and my bf match a tag in our names and I will not stand for this slander.
I'm just jealous I don't have anyone to match my profile with.....

Wow I've never seen a blight run tinkerer before! So original

Is this an elaborate way for telling us you found a girlfriend?
Good job my dude
Are you two one of those cringe e-couples with matching nicknames on steam and link to each others accounts on the bio too?

So, against 3 coordinated swfs the trial ended with a draw while you were playing normal builds, and you're crying?

It's just a fix due to the Franklyn's change from last patch

Why noed? Remove bloodlust. Dead Hard, especially for distance, is perfectly fine as long as bullshit like bloodlust exists

Lets face it, the game isn't balanced at a 4v1 as the 4 survivors have the advantage.
Once the game is a 3v1 the killer has a slight advantage.
Once 2v1 the game is almost over.
Imagine it being a 4v1 game and survivors could 1v1 the killer lol
Boy i have bad news for you if you think a 3v1 is just a 'slight' advantage to the killer
-
There's also one in the basement of the Pale Rose (when it spawns in the shack)
On the locker besides the chest spawn, if you down a survivor while they're entering it so they slowly crawl out, you cannot pick them up unless they move away

You seem to have a fundemental misunderstanding of Hex: Undying.
It doesn't matter what hex totem is cleansed first, because the hex perk that gets deactivated will always be Undying. One totem could be in Shack, the other in a Jungle Gym. If they cleanse the Shack totem first, Undying is deactivated. If they cleanse the Jungle Gym totem first... Undying is still the perk that gets deactivated.
The only Hex perk with a unique interaction with Undying is Haunted Grounds. If they cleanse the specific Undying totem first, nothing happens and Haunted Grounds doesn't activate. You just lose Undying. If they cleanse one of the two Haunted Grounds totems, then Haunted Grounds goes off and the Undying totem becomes another Haunted Grounds totem.
Thanks for the novel but it was just a prank
I assumed after the third reply where i said exactly the same thing people would understand 🗿

Where can I buy a next gen console that's not from a retailer speculating on their low availability by reselling them at double the price?

You need to read what Undying does. It swaps places with the first totem cleansed so that Undying is always the first to be cleansed.
@Exxodus21 said:

Read the description of Undying. If you cleanse another Hex totem that Hex replaces Undying, meaning Undying will always be the first Hex to go.
Yeah but that's only if you cleanse ruin first if you cleanse undying first then undying is gone not ruin with 50% chance but if you have haunted grounds then you have 66% of haunted grounds gone first which is much better chances
-
@Exxodus21 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2338898#Comment_2338898
That's impossible. If you run undying it will always be the first perk cleansed. That's how it works.
No there are only two lit totems so one of them is undying and one of them is ruin do the maths it's 50% chance
-
Terrible perk, don't run it. If you run ruin + undying you have a 50% chance of them cleansing ruin first, and undying after.
Run haunted grounds instead: you have only a 33% chance of them cleansing ruin first
😎

Hopefully never

237,436 (rounded up) due to extra 750 crown points that go on top of base 32,000.
Yeah i didn't count them because I wasn't sure if the bonuses from cakes/bbq apply to them
-
Cap should be 232000
32000 * (1+1+1.05*5)

Can we get a 5th perk slot for an exhaustion perk too has already been said?
Otherwise here i am saying it
-
I wonder how many people that voted "high level gameplay" consider themselves "high level players" too
Because my bias makes me lean towards believing that it's mostly average killer players that got destroyed in a couple of matches by better-than-them average survivor players and expect nerfs to hand carry them even more

Or, y'know...you could just learn the map on DBD, because it's in the game.
I swear, man. Everyone's on here complaining that they're getting lost on RPD and that it's a labyrinth. You know what a solution for that is? Learning the map, like players do in any other game that requires map knowledge.
I don't get lost and I don't find it remotely confusing because I played RE2. Now you guys have the opportunity to learn the map, just like I did, except in DBD. Why are people acting like this map is impossible to learn? It's not.
I didn't state an opinion on the map. I just said that his argument was terrible.
Personally, just the fact that it's yet another indoors makes it a boring awful map. Eventually people will learn the layout, but that won't change the predrop+w gameplay with no mind games and relevant chases whatsoever. Idc about nostalgia, looks or whatever. I care about it being boring af

Its great. Maybe should have played re2 or 3 first to learn the layout.
Telling people to play a whole other (unrelated) game to learn a map is really a terrible argument

The other strong builds have specific interactions they are designed to deal with or excel at. Depending on the Blight player, those scenarios might not be as important as target acquisition or game slowdown. It just depends on the player. The Basic Blight Build is globally strong for players simply looking to play Blight, without any emphasis on utilizing special interactions.
What you're saying is the other strong builds require the player to actually be good. Got it, but we all knew already this is the "i can't play killer" build

Maybe we all Blight mains wanna play with this build? Did you paid for our game and dlcs? No, we did. So just play your game and leave people alone. We will play with what we wanna in rules.
Also you can play Blight with different builds. Noone stopping you buddy.
Do as you wish, luckily for us right now DC penalties are off

I mean, what do you want? For people to use weak builds? I hate it too but there isn't really a point in shaming people for running strong builds. People are still gonna do it.

Coldwind Farms is a category that contains 5 distinct maps. It appears 9 out of 50 games on my list. Not quite 20% of the time.
Afaik the game doesn't pick a map at random from the whole pool. First it picks a realm at random, then a map from that realm

There are people that play game's like apex, hunt and league that would laugh this statement off. There are players out there who can juke and evade at the drop of a hat. Evo moment #37 demonstrates just how fast we can react to different stimulus. In other games a fast moving projectile evasion is considered a read, in dbd its apparently luck. Really speaks to the kind of people that play dbd vs those who branch off and play more challenging game's.
Let's pretend those games don't have an actual hit detection working in background with much more precise hitboxes too on par to dbd
