  • Have you tried gitting gud? I've heard it works wonders.

Seriously tho that's the way the cookie crumbles. Sometimes you get ######### survivors. That's why I'd be down for coms being implemented in the game, like a proximity thing or something. Help the solos (cause there won't be any solo survivors in essence) and lets us balance around swf

  • If the survivors are smart, camping will guarantee a loss for the killer. Just bide your time, wait on the hook, and let your friends do the gens and get out. It's when you get selfish and ######### on the hook or DC that the killer gets rewarded.

  • @martin27 said:

Yes i'm going to run into the basement with a camping insta down killer. Breaking hooks is dependant on having an item/perk. Totems and chests are hardly worth the effort point wise. Generators make the most sense but can give away your position depending on the perks killers have. So trying for generators become really problematic when the sole attention is on you.

If he got 3 of you in the basement at once 5 seconds into the game he deserves the 4k. Even then, you can still do gens. You don't understand how long it takes for someone to die on hook without attempting escape. You could easily get two gens done

I couldn't do any of that which you suggested in that situation. Maybe totems

You can't get saves when your entire team is hooked? You can't do totems? Break hooks? Search chests? Do gens? All of the above is easy when he has them all hooked because he's busy protecting his three hooks. If he doesn't protect them and stops you from doing gens, then go for the save. If he protects the hook, do anything else. Even if he does protect his hooks, he can't protect all three at once. You can easily get a save.

  • @martin27 said:

When i have played survivor i have had games with some complete brain doners for team mates. I would of loved being able to get the hatch back them because i was the only 1 who didn't run into the basement as soon as a LF or billy hooked someone instead of trying to repair 2 generators on my own first.

That's why points is the better option. If you can't do gens, you can still prove you were trying by getting heals, saves, breaking totems, distracting the killer, and lots of other options

Yeah, I agree there should be some effort required. The problems with that are, it would make endgame collapse completely pointless, and it would cause another hatch standoff. The survivor wouldn't try to do gens but instead crouch around the outside of the map which ultimately wastes everyone's time in the end.

Gens doesn't make sense. Cause while doing gens is definitely pulling your weight, sometimes it's just impossible to. Being in chase, healing other people, hell even doing totems or hooks can be pulling your weight.

    Slug.

Then the survivor bleeds on the floor while I spend his entire bleedout looking for the other guy. He still gets away. Or, I find him, and then the guy I left slugged earlier gets the hatch, or dies on the floor. Either way, I don't get the adept.

That survivor beat you more than you know of.

How did he beat me? He was so scared of my that he hid from the start of the game. He literally finished with like 7k points.

  • It should be point based. It only opens if you have a certain amount of points. Any category, to show that you actually pulled your weight before everyone died.

  • It'd be ultimately useless, since when you go down everyone already knows where the killer is.

  • @DoubleTap said:

Brown and Yellow tiers are ok to be grouped together.

It's when you see Red and Brown tiers in the same match your like '#########'.

I'd be more inclined to agree if the poor Bubba didn't hold his chainsaw all game. Literally, all game. Only time he used his m1 was when they were already on the hook.

What's even sadder is people went down to that #########! He killed 1 via 3 hook and had another on death hook!

  • It's borderline useless, yes. Once you get past about purple ranks, he becomes ultimately useless. Unless you're a living god like many of the content creators we see who do stupid ######### and still dominate. But, besides the point. If you're low rank, here's how you play him.

Step 1: Smack ######### everything. When you start, always ff (feral frenzy, remember that cause I'm not referencing what ff is again) them, and look for nearby survivors. If there's one close enough to hit, always go for them and extend out the damage. Continue until you know you can't reach someone. How do you know? Well, that's just practice unfortunately. You learn.

Step 2: Pick someone. Once you've hit everyone you can, pick someone (usually the last guy you hit) and dedicate to the chase. I recommend letting them hit you with the pallet, since his stun is so bullshit long that a pallet stun is faster than his self stun. Chase like normal until they're down or you need to leave.

Step 3: Reapply damage. Once you've gotten a hook, go back and start looking again. Once you find someone, go back to step 1 and repeat all the way down .

To make this work to its full potential, I have some recommended loadouts:

Ruin. Guaranteed loss if you don't run this.

Thanataphobia. They're gonna be injured basically all game. Take advantage of it.

Sloppy Butcher. Punish them for healing / discourage healing at all. If they never heal, you're an always instant down killer.

Barbeque and Chili. Make sure you always, always, always have someone to damage. Find 1 and you find them all.

Other good perks: PGTW, good perk in general. Remember Me, easy stacks early game. NOED, if you really struggle, or adrenaline consistently ######### you. Enduring / Spirit Fury: Makes ending ff equivalent to that of pre-nerf. With added bonus of breaking the pallet.

Addons: never use pins. Ever. They're completely useless. All of them.

Never use extended range unless paired with longer FF. Useless otherwise.

Blades, yes. Especially paired with longer FF, makes overall survivor mend time take forever.

    Longer FF: almost always.

Reduced cooldown: just eat pallets. Easier. Use this if you really hate eating pallets, but even then the pallet is still faster + you get a pallet gone.

Never use iri tape. Useless. Iri button is awesome.

Never use shortened timer or the ability to down with FF. Both are 200% useless.

Bonus tips: Never swing unless you know you're gonna hit them. Swing at the very tail end of your FF for extra distance. Don't be afraid to swing through pallets, especially with pallet eater. Get close before swinging, 360 Legion is easy and guarantees lost chase. Don't be afraid to give up a chase. He cannot stop looping at all and therefore is subject to m1 killer rules (meaning some loops you just have to give up because taking them costs you the game)

Overall rule: some games, if the survivors know how to deal with Legion, are unwinable. If the survivors know what they're doing, just leave. He's in such a sorry state right now that sometimes it's literally impossible for you to win.

    Tunneling Ghostface x5

#########, people have figured out how good dying light is on him.

None of them had dying light lmao, that's what's funny. First one didn't touch me, but I watched a meg run him for all 5 gens (over a span of 3 hooks so...not full 5? Idk)

Next two tunneled me all game. One cause I ran him for 4 gens...with an ebony Mori, mind you. (he got one kill that game lmao) and the other cause I may or may not have tbagged him at pallets.

The last two after that tunneled others all game. Had nothing to do with them.

  • We have a lot of human killers, and also it's such a small show it won't happen, but oh my god if they brought in Berlin from Money Heist I would ######### myself happy

    Wait, no that...doesn't sound right

It's a game I like. People that DC because they can't handle a loss need to stop playing if that's your logic.

No, you need to stop playing if you're gonna get all butthurt when people decide that they want to have fun. News flash: They payed for the game, same as you. Just because you feel like you're the centre of the universe doesn't mean they have to obey.

  • @BBQnDemogorgon said:

@newavitar Even when every dc effects the match in some way? Ruining the fun for others?

Someone DCs in my match I just say "Meh, okay." And start messing around. Get into a good chase with the killer or meme around. Or just DC if I was wanting a serious match, and try to find a new one.

Someone DCs on the other team, I commend myself for playing good and move on. It's that simple.

  • Who cares? It's a game. If you're not having fun, leave. It's meant to be fun. When you stop having fun, stop playing.

  • I don't think so, no.

  • The only thing I think needs to be changed is the animation issue you mentioned. Start the action block right as it hits you, lessen the slowdown of the doctor while he's shocking, or reduce the charge time. Other than that, he's highly underated imo and actually somewhat balanced, minus the lack of map pressure.

  • Best addons for any killer? Tombstone Myers. Easily.

  • Dodge lobbies. Save yourself the bullying. Or just DC if they act like ######### and you find yourself stuck in the lobby.

  • @Odimm said:

@newavitar keep the terror radius? Are you serious? This is THE biggest problem with Legion right now... Organized survivors will just finish gens in your terror radius while you are being looped to death since your ability is useless 9/10 times. If they change anything about Legion, it definitely should be the terror radius mechanic.

You're not supposed to get downs with the timer. That's not the point. The point is to slow the game down. Either they don't deal with the bleedout, and they go down, or they deal with it and they waste time.

  • @Milo said:

@newavitar "frenzy hits down again. It was never broken in the first place."

I wouldn't say it wasn't broken but adding it now would literally be chaning nothing. If you try it now using Frank's Mixtape it would be way faster to just smack them.

"bullshit stun when he misses." No.

@Odimm How would you change it. It was changed because

He's in a frenzy. It's called "feral frenzy" not "kinda angry I guess but also I'm a little tired oh looks like I missed well darn looks like you get away frenzy".

This is why he shouldn't have a lunge. It would still leave room for dodges and ######### but you're not immediately ######### if you don't hit.

Yes using lower cooldown is faster, but only in certain scenarios. There are others that you need the ability to down with frenzy, otherwise you simply can't get them.

The point of his power is not to down them with it. It's a time waster. Yes, you're most likely not going to get any downs with the timer but if they choose not to deal with it you'll get the down, and if they do deal with it you slow the game down by forcing them to deal with it.

  • Other idea 2: No. Never. I main Legion and this is broken as #########.

Other Idea 1: Also broken as #########. His cooldown makes sense since, you know, he just went ape ######### sprinting around and stabbing everything.

About the pins: the perfect buff to Legion as a whole, and thus the pins, is to make it so his frenzy hits down again. It was never broken in the first place. He needs to hit you a ridiculous amount of times to down you with frenzy, but at the bonus if being able to bypass loops. His vault speed needs to be faster, and remove the bullshit stun when he misses. To deal with the lunge abuse that made him move further, remove the lunge at all. Keep the terror radius change, and revert the time change.

I am fairly certain it is because instant heals exist

Instaheals are broken as #########. Saying that just because something exists like it is stupid. That's like me saying "well Billy can insta down, so NOED isn't broken"

  • No, that would make it way too powerful. It's already fine how it is, though I agree it should work with medkits. Same with Autodidact. Why it doesn't work with medkits I will never know.

  • NOED is our counter to Adrenaline and gen rushing. Remove Adrenaline and fix Gen rushing and we can remove NOED.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

not a bad change. but the part of giving notifications when a survivor starts cleansing a totem would make killers like nurse and billy way stronger.

to fix it. let the notification appear when the totem cleansing progress is 50%.

    and some changes in KotH

1- gives a notification the second they start cleansing a totem.

2- the game starts with 100% longer cleansing time for totems. and every minute. that penalty gets reduced by 10%. so cleansing the ruin from the start of the match would be a pain in the a*s for survivors.

I like this a lot. Make it so ruin has a much better chance to last more than 5 ######### seconds

  • Mori's are fine. They're rarely used anyhow, and when they are they're usually a special occasion for the player. They're expensive and rare for a reason.

  • First off, the biggest thing is you're gonna play him a little different from most other killers. You rarely are going to stay on the first person you find. What you need to do is spread the damage out as much as possible. I usually use the blade addons to extend the mending time, and the frenzy duration extenders to make sure I can hit everyone. That way they spend the majority of their time mending instead of doing gens. Combined with perks like sloppy and thanata that slow down healing, and punish them for not doing so, they're either gonna spend their entire game healing, or you're gonna essentially be 1 hit downing everyone all game. After that, I personally use ruin (basically required to play at all) and BBQ (extra points AND make sure you're always on someone). After you hit the last person you can hit during frenzy, try to get in front of them before ending your frenzy, and try to bodyblock them. Unless there's a pallet around, then I can't believe I'm saying this but almost always eat the stun when you're in frenzy. It's faster than ending frenzy on your own. Especially if you use pallet eater (enduring / spirit fury)

  • Camping isn't an effective strategy, except in specific situations. Tunneling, however, is almost always an effective strategy. You quickly eliminate players from the game, meaning that the game runs exponentially slower. Especially if it ends up being a good player, then you're out a good player that would slow the game down for you.

  • Wasn't an argument. It was a comment. There's no point arguing about how to make survivors not DC cause, as I said, and as many many other people have said, they will DC no matter what

  • @MegsAreEvil said:

I just see whiny killer mains. No one here has probably enough skill as killer. Oh cry cry cruel survs only dc. What those Tunnel, Camp, slugger killer who dc at the end to get the game cancelled out for every one Else after lobby dodging for half a Day? No killer main complain about that. Classic double Standards of killer mains.

Except that everyone, killer or not, complains about that. You can watch any of the dedicated killer creators play survivor and they get someone like that, they make it their job to disrespect them and show their disappointment. So no, you just want to be toxic.

  • Until devs make it so killers just stand in one spot so survivors can get free blinds, t bags, and points while getting the free win, they will complain.

Can't wait for all the "Legion mains" that were cheesing to cry and moan while the rest of the Legion players enjoy a decent killer.

Except that 90% of the playerbase didn't do that, and instead played him like normal. Stop being an entitled ######### and maybe try to have some empathy, cause I can guarantee you were one of those people who lost their ######### when DS was buried.
