When will you rework the skillcheck mechanics? They are no challenge anymore since 2 years. Here are only some suggestions:
- make it more random and harder in general
- don't always show the great skillcheck zone
- pointer should sometimes go counter clockwise
- add skillchecks to cleansing totems, open chests etc.
-
The event was easy af and it's your own fault when you started reaching the goal that late. The cosmetics weren't worth the effort tho.

I think the new killer is the woman screamingYeah I also have the same feeling.
Scratch that. I just found this - https://youtube.com/watch?v=B_u3I65lvWQ
Ok then the new killers name is The Oni, makes sense.
-
very likely PTB starts today after dev stream.
-
new killers name: The Samurai
simple af, the teaser shows it clearly. -
the unsatisfied answer is: they are considering it, with a big maybe.
-
long story short: the big advantage of Agitation is the speed buff and it helps a lot (much underrated imo). the bigger TR is just a neat gimmick but it's even part of the terror myers build.

Tbh, that number 2 & 3 = 23rd august thingy will be most likely true.

I'm 100% sure you are all wrong as everyone was with the huntress.

The person you hear in the Instagram video has heavy steps and sounds like either boots or business shoes. So it might be a male. I think the picture has more to do with his lore. The women in the picture might be his wife or someone from his past.not_queen said: "The answer is out there, have a closer look." and Dave said: We'd like to reveal more sooner but can't...It's watching." Both of these hints have to do with looking and I believe it has something to do with his ability/power. The next killer might have some power to see survivors with his ability. Without add-ons, Nightmare is the only killer who can see survivors with his ability (Doctor doesn't count because he can reveal where survivors are but not see them). And isn't it a coincidence that this painting is on Nightmare's map?
Plus look at the paintings to the left of the slashed painting. And if you watch the video and go frame by frame, you can see a slight phantom like arm as the screen fades. Butterflies, a raining village, closer look, Japanese room and ghosts? Sound familiar? To some of you, you'd immediately get the reference. I'm talking about the game: Fatal Frame.
Think about it. Japanese walls, butterflies and the fact the devs keep telling us to "take a closer look." For those of you who haven't played any Fatal Frame games(I've only played the 2nd), all of them take place in Japan and have to do with a camera. In order to avoid death, you have to use the camera and "take a closer look" to see the ghosts. I won't say anymore about the game to spoil it but it fits.
This would be so fkin awesome, please let it be true :O

Have no idea why I kept reading the whole threadJust popped in to say I think the BL changes are stupid. Then I got offended when I read someone say that you cant be a real survivor main if you promote buffs for killers. I am survivor main, and even I see that some things needs to change. I am rank 1, and sometimes I do meet a billy that completely trash me, but most times I survive, or atleast for long enough to get enough points to not really care. I want spookier matches, harder skill checks, longer gen times, more objectives, more fear, and that does not mean I dont main survivor. That means I dont want to play a game where there are little to no challenge. Weird....
Anyways, I do think changes came because of the review bomb, (ashamed to be a survivor, its not like they took away the ability to run period). And even if I think most changes are good, mainly because it spices up a game that I spend way too much time on, some things should be left alone.
First decent and senseful post I've read in this yet-another-mains-thread so far.

F13 is the best example, how pathetic and pointless ingame voice can be when only 10 year olds constantly yelling or spamming those annoying vocalizers.

The point is doing it deliberately to one person, and ignoring all others until the target is dead. That's still not playing toxic. You have no clue what your talking about. If a killer targets and "bullies" the exact same person match after match, by streamsnipe for example, that's called toxic then and is also considered as griefing.
-
@Visionmaker said:
Killer's best way to be toxic is to end the game faster. (Tunnel/facecamp/mori people they don't like.)Survivor logic detected, LUL
Except facecamping that's normal killer gameplay. The word "tunnel" doesn't make any sense, it was only created by salty survivors to complain against efficient killer mechanics. Survivors do gens fast, killers do kills fast. It's called objectives ya know. -
That moment, when people do silly comments on threads because they didn't even read the first post. It's already a Meme itself.

Btw, using exhaustion perks multiple times during a chase shouldn't ever been a thing since game release.exhaustion wasnt even around at game release lol sprint burst originally was cooldown only, only time we got exhaustion was when dead hard came out
thats not true. indeed exhaustion didnt exist at release but it definitly was in the game far before dead hard came in.

######### is wrong with that salty survivor Paddy weirdo. Stop spreading BS in this forum. Seems discussions and different opinions aren't things you can deal with at all.

I also wondered why we get 2 mash it up videos within 2 weeks. Makes no sense. Should at least been a Q&A video. They already break their own roadmap, kinda disappointing.

Problem with the report system is, that people abuse it to report useless #########.
Like "you camper! Reported! Enjoy your ban!" Or "my team was #########, I'll report them for being bad".This stuff was probably the reason why they removed the old report page.
So the new system should be really clear about what is reportable and what not. But people will probably still report nonsense.Exactly.

1.) Update current maps to make them more bigger while keeping a consistent pallet number. (Every map will have 20 pallets, it won't be randomized on how many pallets you'll get)Reasoning: Bigger maps allows for stealth play for survivors. Additionally can make finding generators, pallets, vaults, totems, chest, lockers, traps, and etc more challenging to find (since the map is bigger, everything will be spaced more apart) which can buy killers more time to sacrifice survivors.
Ehm no. One of the biggest issues playing killer is time management. If the maps get bigger it would be even harder to see, find and catch anybody than it already is. Current state of the maps is still bad because of too many looping and safe spots.
-
I expect the midchapter patch already this week tbh.
-
The worst thing at this is that those survivor snowflakes are the ones that always complain about everything what goes against their easy mode, for example the upcoming exhaustion nerf which btw was already neccessary 2 years ago. Regarding the video, im very sure there was an earlier patch where the devs removed flashlight blinding from the side, but it seems it came back some months ago. Typical devs.

Balance landing needed it too,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zN_tI6lDnFcmade some spots into semi-infinite, only on certain maps so it's not a true infinite
these would be fixed when exhaustion nerf comes
Looks rather like a little speedhack because that claud was always fast af. On the other hand you didn't even mindgame her by just going back downstairs and not follow her straight like stupid. But nerf is needed anyway.

I like those funny threads, where is my popcorn...

Survivors have always been only skins. The devs made one big mistake, they created the Teachables. Without that, every survivor would be unique (at least regarding to perks).

Tbh i really appreciate those refreshing changes in this game. And total hours don't mean anything in this game. I know killers with almost 5k hours who don't even know how the treatment mechanics of The Doctor actually work.those people are fakes who leave dbd open and walk away lol. i said earlier this could be a troll post anyways. come on now
Nah, i don't mean the fake ones. I talk about streamers for example who don't know ######### about this game with that amount of hours.

Siggerad said:Before anything PTB need be attractive for both sides. This PTB is killer huge buffs and double nerf to survivors and they try to sell lack of luster changes to garbage perks as something amazing to survivors so there is not incentive for survivors to try PTB. Dont get me wrong i like Killer changes but i worried whats gonna happen if survivors dont like the changes and leave; the lobby waiting will be a hell on earth.
Well the incentive for survivors would be to play and make sure the killer buffs aren’t crazy OP. My only complaint really is that exhaustion nerf that they did only because of sb
That's silly survivor logic as always. Why? Because Lithe is literally Sprintburst with a even smarter trigger mechanic, every good survivor knows that. In addition to pallets you can still outrun killers with jungle gyms and so called "infinites", that's why Lithe needs that nerf too. And Balanced Landing is now even better than Sprintburst because you don't have that land slowness cooldown anymore. Dead Hard maybe doesn't need that nerf because it's outplayable but high ranks abuse it anyway. Just watch Tyde Tymes video about that topic, he's totally right.
-
that moment when digital letters and video games have priority over real life.
-
Things like red Moris, BNPs, strongest toolboxes etc. shouldnt be available in the PTB tbh.

It's called double standards. Btw, the champions at this are people like Ochido, he is also known as Lord of double standards (includes all of his wannabes).
