The game we are playing implies that several players must survive the time in which a maniac is hunting for them, performing actions for the team that will ultimately allow them to escape through the gate.

If the game scenario corresponds, then why is one of the emblems that increases the player’s experience related to the time that a survivor must run after a maniac or spend much more time in the terror radius?

I ask you to raise the issue of changing the principle of accruing experience for an emblem, in order to eliminate the search and pursuit of a maniac to gain an emblem, as well as to eliminate actions hinting at collusion when survivors deliberately circle around a maniac in order to gain an emblem and not lose experience after the match.

I propose to change the principle of accrual for the time when there is no chase, for those participating in the chase to award points based on the principle of points for repairing the generator, or rather a small percentage of the actions of players free from the chase, as well as from stunning with pallets.

    1. I have another question: Why shouldn't a survivor be rewarded for effectively hiding from a killer and effectively stalling for time in chase?

    2. Secondly, if the player is playing +- actively, he will be 100% in chase of it in the radius of the killer's terror several times

The emblem system sucks not only for this reason.

    4. No one writes comments on discussions in this category.

Stop rising this concept, this is at least useless

I remember seeing that Nightmare might get a new rework, I'm just wanting to know how big of a rework it would be? Would it be another rebuild of the kit like how the current power was, maybe more? Or would it be small tweaks to make the power more viable in game? It's really hard to set expectations because of how the license was handed in the past, but with the quality of the recent licenses and the power bhvr has to get more control over said licenses, it's hard to say I'm not curious about it.

they will remove it from the game, and apparently they hate it so much that they don't even want to significantly enhance it or redo it (they literally just nerf him recently). If I were you, I wouldn't expect anything good, otherwise you'll be disappointed.

How do I check what status my character has been effected like debuff or buffs. The game just show some icons which I dont understand without any given infomations. The game should add the informations when pause with esc to check out what status u got

What power Chucky could have? I have honestly no idea since I never saw anything with this character. Reading quickly wiki I learned it some guy spirit trapped into this doll but still capable of full adult strenght.

So he is short, means maybe stealth? Maybe he can jump on people from distance to attack them? Something like Victor without Sharlot? Idk.🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

In my opinion, there is a fairly high probability that Chucky will be a stronger Gemini (or knight) to some extentLike they will move into something or someone /control technology (in one of the relatively new films whose name I don't remember, he kind of did it)

Just realised this. From what i remember there usually aren't a lot or gameplay changes allongside a chapter release.

Does this mean gameplay changes may happen more often in the future or was this just something possible cause it being a half chapter?

it seems they have always tried to fill the hole in the mid chapter that add only one character with a lot of changes in the gameplay, for example, in "hour of the witch" they changed about 4 killers (like Legion, deathslinger, ghost face and spirit) And in a full-fledged chapter with Deathslinger, they completely redid sabotage. They just productively upload to the ptb all the changes ready at the time of the ptb.

I think it is very clear that ultimate weapon is way too unbalanced. 30 second cooldown is a joke. Maybe it should only be useable after a gen is repaired or someting like that? MFT is getting nerfed und ultimate weapon needs to be nerfed asap.

also blight needs a balance patch asap as well. Some of his addons are far too unbalanced. His movement speed should be decreased from 115% to 110%.

The killers have been waiting for the nerf mft for about 4 months, now it's your time to wait.

This perk will certainly be weakened and most likely it will happen in one of those 2 updates, I am sure that the UW will live exactly the same life cycle as the recently redesigned mft

  • A knife next to other knives? Seriously?

  • @lagosta said:

Of the new perks released with the Alien DLC, Ultimate Weapon by far was the most prevalent. To the point that Calm Spirit started seeing general use. But my SQ experience these days has been quite remarkable. Most killers I played against seem to have just ditched the perk aside and went back to aura reading (Lethal, BBQ, Nowhere to Hide, etc).

Aura Reading is way more comfortable to use and, most importantly, it does not alert survivors while screams do. One of the most important functions of Distortion is letting a survivor know that a killer is reading their aura. OoO can also be used like that, but it is way riskier due to the obsession blinking effect. Currently, there is no equivalent Killer mechanic.

IMO, that needs to be assessed for both sides. A visual cue for a very short duration (0.3 seconds) to let the player know that their aura started being read by the opposite side. For a survivor, their own model could shine briefly, just like when they take an endurance hit. Meanwhile for Killer, a visual effect similar to the undetectable shining briefly on the side of the screen would be ok.

This idea would also promote and reward deeper game knowledge. Opinions?

Okay, you see a survivor, but what's next? you join them somewhere in 95% of cases, And the chase seems to be the most fun and not constantly thing in the game and will greatly depend on 3 facts: The killer's skill, the survivor's skill, random. Am I not right?

You found a survivor, well done, and now catch him. It's not always easy, you know, and depends on 2 points that practically do not depend on the killer (if it's an experienced survivor on the autoheaven who knows the map and knows how to loop in the shack and main-you as a killer will be bad, to put it mildly. And if we take Midwich, it will be bad for the survivor) And if a survivor knows how to play on and you play with him on a good map for survivors (of which there are a lot in the game) and you are not a mesestra or a mor/rin with 1000, it will be very difficult for you to catch him.

It's the same with the average survivor on maps with a good enough amount of resources to escape (some maps have a lot of pallets and they are close to each other)

In short, I don't think that the information perks are too strong because after them there is often a process that depends not only on the killer.

And for the survivors, they are practically useless because if you believe the guides, in many constructions there are places where you can safely stand still and see what the killer is doing (for example, a shack).

    The information perks are fine.

  • @MaddieMage said:

Okay let’s talk about this. The big complaint I saw about this perk was that all you had to do to use it was get injured, and therefore it took no skill and rewarded you for playing badly.

Okay fine. So how are we all justifying Ultimate Weapon then? Where is the thought and effort required to use Ultimate Weapon? All you have to do is not know where survivors are and open a locker and boom, you get all the information. Not only do you get info on where there are, they get a negative status effect for 30 seconds and you CONTINUE to get info on where they are for 30 seconds anytime they enter your terror radius during that time. Meaning if a survivor is lucky enough to not be in your terror radius when you use it, they have to know where the killer is (doesn’t happen) and stay out of that radius for 30 seconds otherwise they get revealed and inflicted as well. And how do they know where the killer is? Terror radius usually but once you’re in that, it’s already too late.

After that 30 seconds, you only have to wait 30 more seconds and you can rinse and repeat.

People say “run calm spirit” but that means you’re telling people to take up an entire perk slot for every match on the off chance that a killer has UW. And weren’t killer mains complaining about having to use perk slots to counter MFT?

So again, explain to me what thought, effort or skill is required to utilize this level? How is this perk also not a reward for not playing well? When is this perk going to get looked at? Just saying what’s good for the goose…

It will be weakened in one of the next two updates:He is often taken, he is similar in hatred to MFT.

Singularity has received numerous buffs,is a very strong killer, can rival Skull Merchant's chess capacity and is miserable to face already. He's in a fine spot and is no need of any further buffs.

No, he needs them. It should at least be strengthened a little in the chase to compensate for the weakening of its 3gen, which seems like a great solution. HE NEEDS A CHANGE

With a combo of two perks, judiths tombstone and another, He has the ability to kill healthy survivors when in Evil Within III, and Evil III has an unlimited duration. So essentially He can stalk briefly then kill any survivor within reach and end the game within minutes. Way too powerful, no way to win against him

this combination doesn't need a nerf, but a piece of tombstone does.

If you are saying Zarina's perk, I think it is "Off the Record" And yeah, I think MFT can be good anti tunnel perk.

    Thanks

  • @vol4r said:

    Hi!

So basically MFT is gonna be dead soon, this perk literally gets killed by planned change.

Again survivior gets something good nerfed, while all killers run pop + pain res + 2 more gen regression perks every game which makes game impossible to win most of the time - why aren't killer perks getting reworked if the pick rate is so high?

in fact, there is a chance that it will become the best anti-tunnel perk of all existing ones, of course in conjunction with "off the record" which gives the Endurance for 80 seconds. It will be more accurate if they increase the speed bonus by 2-3%, which they will most likely do.

I expect something like what we had on the first RE chapter.

With no teasers, to keep the tension high.

I could be wrong though, since they´ve never done anything like that.

But then they at least told us that the chapter would be about resident evil +they made a reference for knowledgeable gamers in the form of the number 5 written in a font of resident evil 3 (well, at least at that time someone said so) And before that they released the executioner whose teaser was literally the number 4 on the anniversary banner

And now it's quite possible that they don't see the need for a teaser about everything, it immediately became clear that the killer would be a predator (if it's him) because of that alien skin, if it's a predator, then it's quite possible that that skin was a teaser.

Yes, I honestly thought that the lack of explicit teasers was due to the broadcast on the day of strange things....like there will be a teaser of the chapter.. but...does anyone know what was shown there?

You mean total nerf because he's now the only killer capable of holding the game hostage for an hour? (Although I don't understand the players who do this because the singularity is strong enough to play differently, more "fun" for both sides. No, seriously, I don't see any reason why you need to play for him that way, it's boring when you can do it differently, and it will be more dynamic and more fun)

It will be approximately in six months

But seriously, it will be changed approximately: NEVER

  • @Astel said:

Maybe Legion. I don't know why, because I am totally fine when I play him/her. Btw, genuine question with curiosity: why you are using the trickster as your profile even though you hate him so much?

For fun and Irony. A trickster is the best killer for jokes, so why not make fun in such a strange ironic way?

He is one of my main characters, but unlike the others, I play for him only because I hate him and because his style, his nature is just great for jokes. My God, in almost every game I play for him, I constantly make arbitrary movements so that it looks like a crazy dance.

And so...I just hate him and that's it. Thanks for asking.

  • @ironligma said:

He's always needed a buff. But now that you being up the 20 meter effective range, slinger has 18 meter range limit, why can't he be 4.6?

    1. deathslinger deals damage immediately if of course he pull the survivor to himself...but the trickster is not.

    2. The effect of the ability does not subside by itself

and perhaps the fact that deathslinger can reload a gun on the move without leaving the chase to go open the closet.

Well, I think so....perhaps they did so because it was the standard for all long-range killers (at the same time they did not add a lullaby, which in my opinion was a mistake and therefore the best way to fix his terror radius is 32 is too much.)

But I still hope that soon we will see some buffs for him, as well....I hope I answered your question

If he doesn't get buffs, he'll be buried with a bunch of crappy killers as before.

But only he needed a rework and not a buff, at least not the buff that we got, because it does not fix his problems, even those that are not far-fetched. I'm talking about the fact that he will not be fun for the survivors at all, although ideally he should have become both stronger and more interesting (which seems impossible to do with the existing concept of his ability) Well, personally I would like him to be...something more than just a weak huntress-he at least deserves it

  • @lav3 said:

Is your point "Trickster doesn't need buffs because I hate him."?

Killers got to keep perks like Barbecue, Pop, Thanatophobia. Meanwhile anything Survivor likes using gets overly changed. Peanits said they don't want Perks to be obvious pick but Survivor Perk pool small. At this point make Survivor Perkless and see what Killers complain about now.

I said that the next two updates can become them, the developers in these updates can do something strong, balanced and fun: provide a worthy replacement for the same mft to create a new type of perks that may become such a meta in the future. And developers tend to kill not only the perks of survivors COB overload, tanataphobia is an example of that + in those updates, nerfs of meth and buffs of non-mata were called upon to change the meta and they did it.

And yes, if you mentioned the popular killer perks here, please explain to me why then they did not weaken WoO, resistance, sprinter, lithe and other perks of the very first meta of survivors (which by the way have not been touched for several years)? Because they are well balanced and they don't need to be nerfed

maybe they don't nerf the killer meta because it's okay ?(leave these perks alone, they are already just a shadow of their former self) Shaking meta in this case is to notice another new thing that has become meta, another new one, and you don't know their plans.

Who knows what they will decide to do in the next update, which in some sense will be a mirror image of this. I personally bet that the next chapter will bring good news to the survivors.

After they do, nothing will change, at least globally...you're being too dramatic

  • @gabrielfan1983 said:

I just learned Made For This is getting "re worked" cause killers again whined and whined to devs. Taking the haste away cause low skill killers can't get easy hits or want to learn to beak loops. The chase peek meta became meta due to the valt re work being reworked cause again, killers whined that the were 'missing' valt hits and loosing chases. Maybe killers could practice instead of relying if devs to make it easier. It's rare for any killer perk to be nerphed. How would all killers having ultimate weapon no longer causes survivor to scream? Killers got self healing taking out, med kits nerphed to two heal max, boons worthless, dead hard neutered, etc. True you can't face camp with our a kolby timer but you can still proxy steps away from hook, or just use wraith to face camp. Also MFT was not the end all be all when a survivor was chased. Only that it might give you the chance to valt successfully, killers still had a major speed advantage. The game is designed that all killers can out run a survivor.

what about no? dude, do you want to play with the same perks for the rest of the years allotted to this game? They just want to change the meta, probably something new and more unique... maybe a balanced and strong perk for murderers and also the same perk for survivors. Meta is changing, it should change. Personally, I hope that the situation will be similar to what it was at the time when the pinhead first came out with a new type of killer perks, and then Mikaela also with a new type of perks that became meta for a long time. It will be just fine if they do something fun in the end.

I'm doing this out of sheer boredom, killer or survivor, whatever I.P, just suggest one and I'll make a written document for the concept, within reason:

    Rules:

No glorification of despicable acts (r*pe, pedo/zoo/necrophiles, etc...)

    Have some standards

Think if it would be offensive before asking

    Otherwise all ideas are welcomed.

okay, it's not necessary to offer characters from i.p right there? if so, then:

The Devourer: An ancient monster from the myths of a fictional Indian tribe? a creature that infects the area in which it is located with its terrible essence that absorbs everything:from stones to all living beings who have no soul... In the end, those who have it will face a different, worse fate.

Smiling face: and this killer may not fall a little under the rule of "correctness" because he is a stalker, a very scary stalker Who can go into any house because his company built them, he can look at you from any computer screen because his company produces them, he may not allow you to call for help, after all, his company has enough influence to delete and quickly look for them, you won't run away because he uses the most advanced technologies of his company. He is a sick man whose idealogy forced him to steal people and force him to play a game in which there is only one way out:Become like him and kill him by showing his strength, which by the way was done: He was thrown from the roof of his company's skyscraper...but even then his sins were hidden from the general public . And he also has a mask, which is a screen with a full-fledged interface...well, suddenly it will be useful to you.

of course, I do not require you to conceptualize for these two, I just gave you two options to choose, well, please, if these options do not fit, then please make a concept for Jeepers creepers

    Thank you for your attention

The reason i made this topic is because of the big amount of posts in this forum where people complain about incompetence of teammates or that playing killer is almost impossible to win.

As you can read in the titel, i think that DBD is one of the most difficult games that i have ever played. Even some games that are considered e-sports titels dont have such a hard time to master. League of Legends, Heroes of the Storm or CS GO are not that much harder (if even) to get good in.

On the other hand, this game is ballanced for a casual level but also tries to be fine for the top players, more or less.

I think, and i would be more then happy if someone corrects or even proves me wrong, that this is the main problem with Dead by Daylight. The amount of stuff you have to learn (maps, killers, addons, tiles ect ect) that you even surpass beginner level is at this point a lot, even close to LoL or Dota level.

    Any thoughts?

Well I do not know...I believe that the db is not so big a threshold for entry, because first of all you are unlikely to have to study all the content in the game

Most of the perks pale in front of 4-5 perks that everyone uses and you just need to know how the 4-5 that are most often used in matches work and always expect them. Know several assemblies, the most effective combinations and when to use them best.

And for the murderers, many moments are repeated, there are only a couple of murderers whose gameplay is directly riddled with a bunch of different chips and radically different from others. The knowledge gained on Freddy in beating the survivors in the constructions will definitely be needed by you on the same cenobite, an alien, and it is not desirable to know those some killers thoroughly for a confort game.

The survivors have almost the same:why do you need to know thoroughly how to play against the twins if they almost never appear in matches? Most often there are only a few killers and the knowledge of how to play against them with enough to play comfortably, especially the knowledge gained against these can help you play against others. Again, the abilities of murderers are often based on the same elements, some killers even repeat the tactics of the game for and against, except that the efficiency and method of execution change.

I want to say that, for the most part, this is not completely new, which should be studied from the very beginning, but instead, after a certain base, they only get a couple of details that you don't always have to know thoroughly and which often do not have the same differences in relation to other killers: the same Freddy Krueger, the skull merchant, the clown are played in the same way: Survivor in the design - you use your ability, if he is not smart enough not to run into it, you strike. Of course, this is a strong simplification, but again, many moments are repeated at least in the chase.

Although the game is not in pursuit, too, is not much different...- try to fix the generators. The game is not simple, yes...but it's not terribly complicated, especially if you want, you can always find all this information.

  • @mecca said:

The skill required to play survivor is so ridiculously high that everyone on the teams has to be like pros. It's insane. Matchmaking will never fix that. Survivors need buffed in all aspects.

Train your players to play by giving them all the basic information so that they don't miss it...

No, let's have a nerf killer, although so that he does not pose serious problems, it is enough to know 1 ######### MECHANICS IN HIS POWER (hello old Freddy and now you can attach a new sadako to this, perhaps a singularity with his EMP)

And excuse me, where did you notice the insane amount of skills needed for a normal game for survivors? For your information, most of the killers in the game are looping about the same

What kind of killers do we have there?

Pig,Michael,Freddy, Legion, Oni without ability, Singularity+- except for the moments when you are infected, ghostface if he didn't have time to tag you, although even with a tag you just have to play more accurately than usual....in short, most of the killers in this game, with the exception of 3-4, have about the same looping tactics, except for some moments, but the base is the same for most

With the exception of long-range killers who have their own templates and then elements can sometimes be repeated, for example, you can't throw off pallets in front of their face

The tactics of the game against the xenomorph are similar to the tactics of the game against the clown, nemesis, artist, with the exception of a couple of moments by the type of speed of the xenomorph tail.

If survivors need to be strengthened, then only to improve their coordination-the rest is mmr and training. What's wrong with having to train to pose a threat to your opponent?

The killer has to be trained to appear to a survivor who plays well, knows how deceit survavior in constructions, he has to study fakes, a map to close the survivor's path to good constructions because he knows how to use it and he uses it against you, and if his comrades are also repairing generators, you need to finish the chase as soon as possible.

Nothing else will help because the survivors most often lose because of the mistakes THEY WILL CONTINUE to MAKE

The new fast vault has become a good example for me...Do you know how many times I've seen them in games? about 5 times. Because no one told them that it was possible....only the creators of the content on YouTube, but the game is not.

it puts all the basic information in a menu that no one enters....even a brief description of the killer's ability can be skipped...she sucks. This is a fact.

No.Are you talking about the moments when the entity locks the lockers next to the hanged survivor?

If not....Maybe then the developer should close all the lockers at the beginning of the match so that you don't have to come up and close yourself?

No. Everything works as it should work

  • @Venusa said:

Did you guys also realize an influx of "Nerf Dredge!" discussions? What's going on? The current tome naturally raised the number of Dredge players since they want to complete challenges but what is so overpowering and unbearable about them? I always found them a fun and fair Killer to go against and they have cool powers and tricks they can pull off that require practice. Why are we trying to get average M1 Killers nerfed when we could be focusing on those who can actually be busted in certain scenarios like Blight? We should be having stronger M1 Killers instead of nerfing them and forcing everyone to only play "S-Tier" Killers. Thoughts?

Most of the players are on his nightfall because it annoys them and may be a problem for some people with certain illnesses, which would not be bad to actually fix the game settings. There is not one reason why it would be worth weakening it, but there are many reasons to allow the players to better costamize the game for themselves:someone in general does not like the brightness of the game and they would like to change it, but even so the mechanics that should interfere with the game should continue to interfere with them.

If you want to make it more comfortable, then why not.

If you want to make it useless, then no

And that discussion just demanding his nerf is humorous, apparently.

I think most people still think that he is quite good at the state he is in.

Personally, I haven't seen anything except these 2 discussions and 2 old posts on redit.

If there was something equivalent that survivors could do to killers (like obscure their vision) they would be throwing fits and demanding nerfs.

But since it’s the other way around, it’s totally fine as evidenced by all the mental gymnastics on display in this thread.

    This community is insufferable.

Then the same argument worked for the survivors: THIS MECHANIC WAS CREATED TO INTERFERE WITH THE KILLER, AND IT SHOULD INTERFERE WITH THE KILLER.

No matter how annoying it is, it still shouldn't stop interfering with the killer under any settings, for example, flashlights, they annoy every killer who plays this game. Me for sure, but no matter how to change it, their aspects interfering with the killer should remain, because that this is the purpose of this item.

This is the essence of our discussion.

So, i've been playing as and facing some Skull Merchants after the changes and she feels worse to face than before.

She now has a strong capacity to harm survivors with her claw traps; she can defend an area with generators with drones easily. And the worst -> NO punishment for doing bad drone placement.

Me and my friends faced a "Chess Merchant" (Trigen Holding Skull Merchant) and the match was one of the worst i've ever been in years playing this game. Even when disabling drones or trying to ignore them and do gens was very hard. The SM had some luck on the map (Lery's) but she played so poorly in chases (whiffed a lot, took a pallet save, tried to body block the basement but could not do it) but still got the upper hand because an obnoxious build (Overcharge + Eruption + PWYF) and a drone setup.

I think she needs some changes:

    • Disabled drones should have some downside for SM. She shouldn't be able to recall them, or at least make her endure a cooldown ( twice the normal cooldown) when recalling DISABLED DRONES (not the other ones). Its too much annoying that she can just recall a disabled drone and then put another one in the exact same place without wasting any time.

I really like the "new" Skull Merchant, but it feels she can play so badly and still get rewarded for that. And i don't think its good game design.

if she puts the drone in the wrong place, then it will be absolutely useless.isn't that a punishment considering that she has a limited number of drones?

  • @Rickprado said:

How you guys have been countering her 3 gen strat after the changes? I've been trying to disable drones, but it feels like it does nothing.

I would advise you to ignore the drones located next to the generators, because while you are fixing them, they will not do anything to you (and she can not turn the slmannye drones, which is a loophole for collecting information), and periodically turn them off in places where you are going to loop the killer to make her at least spend time on their re-boring. And you can remember the places where they stand/create in your head several alternative ways to loop, with an early survivor, she is just an m1 killer with a rather situational haste and it is possible to disable the terror radius with a red glow, and slowing down..you need to be more attentive and always listen to the drone's sound coming to have an idea where it might come from. and I am extremely unwilling for you to loop it in the textures where the drones are

I hope it will help somehow

anyone else enjoying the moment where you have no chance of survival and you just wanna die on hook but your teammates wont let you. so fun.

Dude, can you stop playing this game? why are you spoiling it for the rest of the 4 players who enjoy it?Well, or try the killers, you may like them more... why do you have to play for the survivors if you don't enjoy the survivors' side?

Completely disagree and how isn’t that constructive I said add a brightness setting or adjust the killer operative word being OR killers coming to white night an ability, killers are so strong rn again maybe it’s not so much my colour blindness (tried the filters didn’t do nothing and the heart beat setting I have on) and more my eyesight but I just don’t think it’s fair to play against and it’s all the time everyone is playing him the game isn’t fun against him and I’m just supposed to put up with it no it’s not fair and again need to be looked at why I put this in GENERAL

Well, I suppose it's pointless to continue the discussion. Everyone will have their own opinion. In addition, it is also useless because it is unlikely to change anything.

    Have a nice day :3

  • You also don't have constructive criticism, my friend, you just wrote an angry discussion about what annoys you.

This is a problem that does not necessarily have to be solved with the help of a killer nerf. Again, you can just add brightness settings to the game, which will solve more problems, including this one, making the night more comfortable, but again not too much. This should interfere with the survivors.

No matter how annoying it is, NIGHTFALL DO THEIR JOB and they have to do it. I want you to understand that. And, in my opinion, this does not create too many problems for most players.

Fix the problem with the game settings, not the killer nerf, that's what I'm talking about.

At the moment, the dredge itself is working normally in most cases, with the possible exception of this particular moment. And it does not need serious weakening

Dude all of this aside objectively looking at this killer he has one to many powers anyway not to mention i have been going against nothing but dredges this entire week he is very meta rn he is too strong needs adjustment and the nightfall needs to be looked at at the very least marginalising a portion of ur player base i litterally can’t play the game right now because all I’m going against is dredges and it’s not fair and waiting out the darkness is just dangerous since behaviour has needed things survivor gen healing speed ect

And the archive is certainly not to blame for the increase in the number of this killer in matches. You know, you're talking some kind of nonsense too.

R u serious just accept “killers” no mate it’s broken and I unfair I can’t see what I’m doing that’s broken but we are supposed to just accept it nah

YES. Why should a killer ability that is designed to interfere with you not interfere with you?No one sees anything in it, and that's how it should be. The night is designed to be bothered by the darkness, so that you don't see anything in it, and it works exactly as it should. I am against it being ners

And so yes, maybe they should still add brightness settings to the game. For example, some brightness settings, but not too tight, so that the night acts on all + - equally, but does not make it too bright, because this is nonsense.

just fix the problem, but without weakening the killer, who does not need to be weakened

  • @NerfBoilOver said:

When are we going to adress the fact that dredge is busted. He can traverse the map with his locker teleport and sometimes even use it mid chase. THEN he can put his other teleport down on loops to easily teleport too and get easy downs. Lastly, he can make the whole map dark for the survivor…. His kit just seems so packed with power and i feel like cuz he’s not picked much people don’t acknowledge it

His teleport is the slowest teleport of all and the most situational, because it is limited to certain places whose location does not depend on it.

His antelope is absolutely useless against shift+w, as is the teleport to the cabinets, which is again temporary and notifies that he is passing through (the locker doors fluctuate a little when he passes through. Didn't know this fact and don't look at it? NOT A KILLER PROBLEM now you know.) which allows the survivor to quickly run in the opposite direction (which most often will happen)

That is, we get a standard shift+w killer like xenomorph, nemesis and others in pursuit with the worst teleport

Yes, there is a night that is extremely unpleasant. BUT IT IS DESIGNED TO BE EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT

  • @Davinki said:

this killer is bull and discriminatory I have eyesight problems can play the game perfectly despite being colourblind and wear glasses but only with this killer I can’t see nothing and really hinders gameplay I feel bad for any gamers with worse eyesight than me playing against this killer dumb design and yeah I have the heat best setting on dosnt mean nothing if I can’t see where I’m going just reduce the darkness of night fall or ADD A BRIGHTNESS SETTING

His nightfall is just created so that you don't know where to go. Just accept it.

Which killer is the most fun to go up against? Randomizer creates brackets.

Freddy is incredibly boring and not even unique, which is very annoying considering who he is...he's a legend, even if forgotten, but damn, I would like it to be fun to play for him, but not: you run after a survivor for 30 or maybe more seconds until he falls asleep and you can use your not even strong ability on him, and if the survivor also used an alarm clock before that...In short, I'm waiting for his buff, I crave it.

Wraith, to be honest, I really don't like playing for him because I've always been annoyed by killers against whom it's enough just to throw off pallets and they won't do anything to you. Wraith is incredibly weak and this explains everything: the weaker the killer is, the more sophisticated and unpleasant they play for him, because he just literally can't do it any other way. Yes, I stand for his buff too.

the plague she's cool:3 but many complained about her and said that she doesn't have a normal counter game for solo, but I just think that she shows better than all the killers how bad solo players are, I think she's fine...well, I don't think I can call the most fun of all those present

Artist:this is a beautiful killer, with an aesthetic ability. I do not know how much fun it is to play against her, but it is enough for me to love playing for her and against her, although I probably have not seen good artists because I am a complete novelty as a survivor and in me rather says the killer who considers her ability quite pleasant.

I am 95% sure people have the wrong idea of what AFC is meant to do.

People want to not be camped period... it's not for that... it's a system to give a bigger window for survivors to counterplay the camper. Let's take a proxy camping Nurse, Huntress, Hillbilly, Blight, or Deathslinger...

If you put the hooked survivor between you and the killer by approaching opposite of where the killer is stood, preferably without being seen, all of them need to get around the hooked survivor hit box to hit you.

Playing this well near guarantees the unhook. Preventing the unhook with this is a hell of a lot harder for the killer to do than what it was before.

This bigger counterplay window can be made even better using anti camp/tunnel perks. You can take kinship, take reassurance, take deliverance, take decisive strike, take borrowed time, take off the record, take dead hard, take guardian, all of these perks are able to help against a camping killer, and all are made better with AFC in play...

AFC isn't there to stop camping and ensure the survivors escape from hook... it's there to give you a bigger window to outplay the killer... which is exactly what it's doing.

If a killer is standing on the basement stairs, he's doing Facecamp, right? if the killer is standing at the foot of the mountain on which the hanged survivor is located, he is also doing this, right? If I'm not mistaken, it turns off if the killer is above and below the hanged survivor, and he doesn't care whether there is a descent/ascent nearby. I'm not talking about the camp as a whole, I'm talking about the possibilities of bypassing afc. Believe me, I’m the last one who wants this mechanic to completely ban the camp, but the fact that there are holes in the system is a fact

  • @GensByDaylight said:

A lot of people whine about how AFC isn't working, but its doing its job perfectly well. It isn't supposed to prevent proxy camping or area camping, just face-camping. A lot of people don't seem to want to understand its purpose.

Please stop complaining about it, its not meant give you free wins.

you also know that AFC does not work well even as AFC because they decided to completely ignore the killers stronger than pigs and added a bunch of holes that will have to be patched for a long time (he badly calculates the path for the hook)Don't pretend, there's no way I'm going to believe you can say that.

  • @dreary said:

Good lord behaviour, you just keep catering to killers dont you? The new update reduces the size of maps by what looks like 33%. Your new anticamping tool is broken AF and doesn't work either. This game was good in the past and instead of adding new features like new game modes they continue to shrink maps and cater killers to the point that you don't have to have any skill anymore to play killer.

is the desire to make as many killers as possible more viable for iora bad ? the size of the cards is one of those things that makes the gap between ordinary killers and the strongest stronger, which is pretty bad...I think many people are tired of playing only against certain killers. In addition, there may still be good designs on such cards, floor cards can completely compensate for the small size, and dude, they don't make all the cards commensurate with ler, or do you want to say that McMillan and the farm, autohaven, garden of joy are too small for to play them normally in survivor side? And murderers don't need skills to kill the survivors...but only when the survivors do not know how to play / go to a new borgo (there are few pallets there)it's not the killer's fault that mmr is a sucker, it's not the killer's fault that no one teaches beginners to play. The survivors have the opportunity to resist the killer (sometimes just throwing off all the pallets in their path)but no one uses the tools they have given them, even the new fast vault, I've seen it all 3 times in my games ... is it my fault that they don't know that this is possible?

Thanks, wow I didn’t realise I was so confused I used to be able to heal 2-3 times and I was left baffled that it healed me once and was gone XD what addons do I need for a 2 Heal?

I guess it's impossible to do more than 1 self-healing. In order to shake up the meta, they decided to weaken everything related to the healing, so that it contributed to the appearance of the non-healing meta, which was well established due to mft.

    I hope it helped...

What would you change, or add to the game

    Perks:

    Maps:

    Killers:

    Killer powers:

    Killer addons:

    Items:

    Item addons:

    Mechanics:

    Base Game:

FYI... I add in mine after some others chime in

perks: I once had an idea for a perk that worked like this:Every time you deal damage, you get a token as soon as you hit 4/3/2, the aura of obsession will light up until you go to her at a distance of 24 meters. The one farthest from you becomes an obsession. All tokens are spent after use..

Shattered skyline map: A huge spaceship that is located outside the universe.

killer: you can read it here https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/393008/chapter-concept-the-face-of-darkness#latest

Mechanics: The entity hates you the entity loves you and the entity hates you very much. these are mechanics designed to "balance" the feature of survivors...I decided that in my chapters I would give abilities to the survivors and the effect is that the entity blocks the windows earlier and for a longer period and so on.

You can also view the subject by following the link.

Base game: Would have remade the trickster.

  • Perhaps this is due to larger and higher-quality projects, such as ac mirage

well, or because they recently released almost the most problematic killer in recent years-an alien

At first, when they came out, they accidentally turned him into a killer without punishment for poor use of the ability-which made playing against him simply unbearable.

Besides, an alien is not an alien...have you ever felt that you played for/against a legendary monster when he was in your matches? I personally feel more like a wayward cat

Then they nerf him up after one week, which greatly disappointed the players

And we made 1 more bug, which made it unbearable to play for a very long time, which could also scare a lot of people away.

The exploit of lockers and the fact that they broke climbing through windows for a long time for female characters for whom most of the player base, which became unbearable because before that they reinforced the windows.

and the very fact of the existence of AFC and a bad rework of sm could well force some killers to leave the game

There are just a million reasons, but don't be afraid. I think in a month online will be good again

The fact that I can break LOS from a huntress via wall or just around a corner or behind a rock, and she can STILL hit me with a hatchet is absolutely absurd. If I tried to throw a hatchet at someone hiding behind a rock, and they were crouching and I couldn't see any part of them, my hatchet would miss and go over their head. But oh no, not Huntress. She can hit you without even trying. I know it has something to do with survivor hitboxes being behind them while they're running, but why is that even a thing? Why can't we just get survivor hitboxes that actually match where our character is in REAL TIME???

This is what the survivors' hitbox looks like (yes, it's an old dbd, but I doubt they changed it much), and I don't think it's accurate information, but I think you can get a general idea of the scale of the tragedy
