Before everyone was complaining about unavoidable hits after crawling under the Pallet, so I don't really get it why are you saying he was much better before to play against & even as.
My suggestion would be:- increase his Turn Rate or Intial Turn Rate after Scamper while using Slice & Dice
- slightly increase his cooldown (by 2-3 seconds for example)
He's already pretty good, reducing the cool down or adding turn rate would actually break him again.

I agree, nurse is worse, but I've never seen such an outrage in matches against any killer
Maybe because somepeople enjoy playing against nurse more? I do personally because sometimes you can juke a nurse, however sm is just hit or be hit, she's also undetectable and hasted all with her power. A lot of map pressure on top. Nurse just teleports. She can't force you to avoid an area just to not be injured. I think the outrage is how she still gets map pressure like she does.

idk why a ´´normal killer´´ would kick the same generator 8 times
Because I'll surge and painres it more that 8 times.

i use it on her and it's really good. green puke doesn't use stacks, it helps a lot especially if people refuse to cleanse.

it kind of makes sense on slinger, a shoot and hit gives 2 stacks for mettle as well.
It doesn't give two for mettle? I haven't been against slingers but his shot itself wouldn't count. Right?
-
Slinger + Myers/bubba. Plauge + oni. Two nemos? Pinhead and pig.
-
Doesn't help that it's the meta slave chucky's most games now. I do find it frustrating when people run the second you enter the terror radius though.
-
Try killer. Survivor is awful without friends
-
I've played with people with no comms after they just add me, play a couple with them, then get off. That's not a swf. How would the game track something like that?
-

i just wish cooldown for chase was a little shorter like instead of 10 seconds, I wish it was 6 seconds. Also there is bug with Oni and that perk where if you dash and do demon strike, it consumes 2 tokens instead of 1 token.
Slinger loses 2 as well. I don't think it's a bug.

Deathslinger and Twins are the best killers for this perk.
I was just coming to say that this is a phenomenal slinger perk lol. Run it with like stbfl and you'll shred through people as they struggle to dodge while hindered.
-
Slinger should be up one.

...not at all what I was referring to.
Blight, you pfp, is notorious for having many so-called techs associated with his power. The hugtech has yet to be fixed, despite being well-known for years now.
Not to mention Wesker, with his urobound or whatever it was called. He's gone virtually untouched since he had his bugfix patch.
You do realize eurobend is just turning right?
-
From killer experience I'd say yes, however with the sheer amount of chucky I see I don't care if it's spammed against him.
-
Nemisis. I'd love to see an addon that lets you hit 2 people at once or a pallet and person at T3, or just make it basekit for T3. I also want some slinger addons changed lol. The movement speed ones should be changed to faster ads, and faster zoom out. Also making the wardens keys .5 seconds again would be great.
-
Hey you know what perk made killer unbearable unless you were playing blight or nurse? You got to see it oh I don't know, ever game in a row? Also apparently your getting lucky killers because pain res spawns are the worst thing in existence. Pop is a pretty fair perk, because in this time and age a gen will pop while your in chase. At least one. Jolt is fine as it's an only M1 thing. Lethal yet again is also fine.
-
I don't know if I'd call it to much from what I've played on survivor but when I'm playing killer it's so different. Definitely frustrating to be looped around a hook until they unhook themselves
-
I know a lot of people that play more survivor than killer but still say they have a killer main, but it doesn't mean that they play killer more. In terms of survivor main vs killer main, yeah I agree.
-
Me personally, I love that he's in the game, however I despise swamp and I've only played against him there. Now that's already miserable for me but then, the bushes are taller than him. I've been told it's the same thing on dead dog.

Well Deathslinger is an exception because his power combines with his basic attack.
I'm talking about special attack killers like Demogorgon, Pig and Mastermind. I've been against players that just use their power to conserve STBFL tokens and then they just use basic attack the whole game. A perk should never overshadow a killer power like that
Ah I see. I run it on nemo but only with backpack builds lol but I certainly find myself punching more with it. Also most of those killers aren't the easiest to hit power so why not stbfl. You can m1 then m2.

I've been waiting on the counterplay video on Youtube but all I've seen so far is 'omg Chucky hype, we've been waiting years for this', 'haha, smol killer, funi' and 'THIRD BEST KILLER??!'.
I played against him earlier today and I don't see what I'm supposed to do. He's tiny, he has stealth, he's mobile and he ignores pallets and windows. I don't understand where all the hype is coming. Is it only franchise-wise? Because from a game perspective, he seems busted to me.
I figured he was going to be busted just from the ptb so I've just stopped playing survivor lol. He seems really frustrating to go against and that's not what I want to deal with.

I think a perk shouldn't be the solution to tunneling. It should be punishment of tunneling and a reward for other playstyles base.
You can't just punish the killer. You have to give a reasonable alternative.
It's only going to stop if there's an incentive.
-
Man it's not fun when surviors gen rush and play like its $5000 dollar tournament. It's a shame that I can't play against the same people I have on my team in solo queue
-
@OrangeBear said:
I think the problem is lack of counterplay. Obsession is meant to take hits to lose stacks but you can't communicate that in solo queue. Also, killers like demo with easy to use special attacks can use that on the obsession should they try to do this counter. You can't do anything about this and it just transforms some killers into save the best for last users instead of using their own power.
Also ever since they started using endurance for anti-tunnelling and camping, STBFL became an anti-anti tunnel.
The perk probably shouldn't work on endurance hits and there needs to be more counterplay to reduce the amount of tokens the killer has.
I use stbfl on slinger a lot, believe me when I'm telling you that I still use my power just as much. It's mainly helpful for me to be able to hit a survivor and then reload faster. It does shred through endurance though I will give you that, and I would say an endurance hit should take 2 stacks, but then what about a perk like dead hard?
-
@Firellius said:
It's a good perk overall, but it has some unfair extremes. When 6.1 hit, essentially, a few of STBFL's stacks were made basekit, but they stack with STBFL, which means the maximum recovery speed you can get out of it can be so high that it can even deny post-hit dashes sometimes.
But the bigger issue, as already mentioned, is with camping. STBFL allows you to get a recovery so short that it can become impossible to save a survivor without giving the killer a down in return.
I present to you, desprate measures, my favorite perk for survivor lol.
-
@CLHL said:
Awesome, a 3-gen solution after the kick perks were already nerfed to the ground. Now we will forced to tunnel even harder because there is literally no way to stop those gens from progressing. Here comes the 4.4 killer that can patrol huge maps with each gen in different corner...
Cries in slinger. I dislike seeing a stbfl change as I use that perk religiously, it's a good perk, but it's not overpowered.

Endurance is such a excuse in this game. They need to outright delete this status effect. Get rid of Endurance.
Why? Go play pyramid head then.
-
Laughs in tombstone
-
No. It's boring
-
Yes. If you think it didn't need a nerf go get your head checked.
-
Never said that, but to too many people this game should be 1v1 which obviously it's not supposed to be.
-
@mecca said:
Its not balanced or fair. Games are supposed to be about skill. And fun.
The power role fantasy killer mains have about killer is an excuse to minimize skill in a video game for the purpose of feeding own ego.
It's not fun losing by default as one of a game.
Then don't play, it's a 1v4 so it's going to be "unbalanced" for a reason. go play apex if you want fair 1v1s.

@Rudjohns said:
Why would a killer AFK in RPD, one of the most killer sided maps in the game?
I do on slinger and only him. Being 110 is the most miserable thing, you miss one shot then have to spend so long catching up with mft.
-
Heya. I think slugging is dumb. I've done it, but a whole build around it is absurd. I get slugging someone with power struggle however everyone is excessive. I will say though that hook spawns on some maps don't help. I had a game on lerys where I literally couldn't hook anyone if they were in this one area, and guess exactly where they went.

@TheGoodGuy said:
I tunnel. Tunnel can make survivors rage quit, or submit and stop running or try and kill themselves. I’m not here to justify what strategy makes me comfortable as a Killer, but if the survivor I’m trying to tunnel was a good sport about it. I usually don’t finish the last hook and just drop them next to a hook and leave them alone (or slug if they start body blocking).
- Tried to stay interactive in chase
- Didn’t give up
- Always struggled on shoulder
- No BM
Basically when we both know what I’m doing and you accept the situation and still do what you need to do for the team, without being toxic and seemingly asking me to focus you, then you’ll earn my respect and I’ll let you go.
In my mind, when you play like your treating tunneling as a valid strat and playing ‘normally’ then you have a good understanding of how it is for Killer, probably been in the trenches too and it’s like I lose all my motivation to kill you. I know I could Kill you, you know you should have died, we both know why I’m tunneling so…I’ll throw the game.
I dunno, it’s like when you’re in public and you see another version of yourself.
Im that survivor who gets tunneled out too, I do my best to loop, I don’t give up when I’m targeted over and over after unhook and I continue to struggle to give my team of strangers as much as I can before I get taken out. As more of a Tunneling Killer, I see so many give ups, team abandoning and over time I just became more sensitive and soft on the ones who keep trying and playing despite the overwhelming disadvantage (in a personal but not team level). I’ll have plenty of wins against the rage quitters and weak-minded survivors so, I don’t mind letting some games go if I find a Kindred spirit.
This pretty much sums up me. If you try, I'll respect it. Very rarely I'll get frustrated and not let people out.
-
This game is supposed to be asymmetrical. It's not complicated. Deal with it.
-
I literally hate clown because of the blur. I know he needs a power so it still needs to hinder but I hate the blur so much. Just gets repetitive, its oh wow I barely went in the bottle now I get hindered and can't see where I'm going yay.
-
I don't get him either which is real unfortunate becuase I like seeing how people play wesker to kinda learn him for my own.
-
Maps
-
I use save across all sorts of killers. With pinhead I can hit you then chain you faster. With nemo I can hit than whip faster. I'd imagine it's the same thing with demo and xeno? Definitely a good perk for slinger if you want to reload faster after hitting someone.
-
I never minded them. Granted I like characters like pinhead and slinger, who'll keep you from escaping with those. Or blight, who'll catch up.
-
Okay, slight problem. Slinger isn't exactly an M2 killer. He still M1s to hit you no matter what. I find stbfl to be good for slinger because it let's me shoot you, hit, then reload faster. That's not a skill thing. That's gonna let me shoot more, learn more spots to shoot in. Now, it being stuck at 6 stacks, I could get by, however I think seeing a nemisis whip you like a machine gun might be a problem. Same with pinhead, just never ending chains.

I mean... Nurse is busted and should not be in the game. She is a relic from the past, basically the last broken thing from back then which is allowed to exist.
Blight gets complained about his Add Ons. And as long as someone is not insanely biased, they would agree that his Add Ons ARE way too powerful for such a strong Killer. Especially because they are strong and there are so many of them.
And Wesker is mainly complained about because people face him very often. (Which is not a problem for me, personally)
Let alone that many people in this Thread have not really complained about anything you mentioned that much. So "You are all complaining" is not really correct.
So people are allowed to complain about seeing lots of weskers, but not about seeing 4 people with mft evey game. Got it.

I have resorted to using meme perks for this reason. I no longer rely on my perks because there's no point. So now I'm steady lifting up pallets and throwing pebbles in the faces of tunneling killers cuz what else is there to do? Might as well get a laugh or 2 before I die. I enjoy the game more now with the expectation of dying every time.
Same I throw on super altruistic perks just so I can heal teamates really fast or just run mom because I like taking protective hits.
-
@NerfDHalready said:
knowing all this complaining is because of the mft nerf brings so much joy. learn the game and get better, sorry not sorry. next step stop offering maps and learn how to play on different maps and you'll be a skilled survivor finally. no dependency on anything = good.
I stopped running good perks for that reason, I don't run a chase build unless you count DH, but I've been trying to learn how to play without strong perks. Maps are definitely impactful but it's fun to learn the different maps

@hevs said:
I agree that there isn’t a lot of good survivor perks worth running anymore and you will still see the same things every game.
Sprint burst, lithe, windows, adrenaline, off the record, resilience, buckle up, for the people, dead hard (doesn’t even work half the time).
Boons aren’t great. Balanced landing is my FAVE exhaustion perk but it just doesn’t feel as useful as lithe/sb. DS has such a little stun and can only be used once a game, imo don’t feel like it’s worth running.
I just wish there was more variety in good and fun perks for survivor so you don’t have to run “metal”
Throw on we'll make it. I always have that perks because is altruistic and I take joy in that, maybe throw on solidarity to so you get some back.

We got a second wave of Hex Perks that only spawn on the map once their condition is met, ie Plaything, FaceTheDarkness and now the new TwoCanPlay and I would argue that this Hex perks are much more fun to play, because they offer a sort of reliability that's totally missing from the traditional hexes.
Why am I writing this paragraph? Because I think boons could use a second wave of effects, too. Right now all boons are streamlined to having the same range and effect around the totem, no matter their effect.
I would love more personal boons. Something like
Boon: Dark Theory - the first time ou get wounded, a dull totem on the map gets blessed and you gain a mapwide +2% haste effect that persists as long as you are wounded. But for every second being chased by the killers, they get 1m aura reading on the totem. The perk gets deactivated permanently once this totem gets snuffed
Or another reactive one:
Boon: Charmed Life - the first time you are put into the dying state, one dull totem on the map gets blessed and you enter deep wound. This Boon now holds a part of your life force, if the killer snuffs it, your aura will be revealed for 9s and you become exposed for 1min.
That's actually a really unique idea. I like it.

I've noticed most killer mains don't want an actual challenge unfortunately, they want to feel powerful and unrelenting, aka "power role". Chucky will come out of the PTB broken and it will be radio silence for a while.
Just how it is here and won't change.
I'm a killer main, I just didn't like mft. I can except someone looping me for like a solid mintue because that's fun, and I know they're good. Mft threw that perception way out of wack. I do agree though that chucky is going to need a nerf from the ptb state, I don't that's going to be fun to play against on survivor. Doesn't seem like there's counter play, almost like mft.
-
I don't think I'll like him in general. The liscence is cool but like I'm garbage and going to end up getting destroyed every chucky I go against. I also think playing him is going to be strange. I suppose I'll just have to learn lol.

I feel yah. I cannot play oni due to constraints on the controller. I do ok with hillbilly but still get demolished a lot of games with him.
i worried with chucky that it would be similar. I cannot use pinheads chain either because fine control is lost with controllers.
What do you mean fine control? I play pinhead on console and it seems fine.
