What different meta? Pallet kicking? There are no other regression perks so ppl will still use them even if they are weak and they will run 4 slowdowns cuz it's not worth running just one of them. In case you are not aware gen rush meta is popular atm so killers have no other choice but bring slowdowns, there is no more fun you sweat you win you meme you lose.
I play slinger heavily, my build has 3 slowdowns, however, because of him being pretty good one on one but not on map pressure it's quite a combo, though I don't like pain res much due to hook spawns. Now enter a killer like pinhead, and it's only deadlock. The other 3 perks are save, face the darkness, and lethal. Much less slowdown oriented because his power is very effective for slowdown

The only hook on the 3rd floor is the one on the stairs and if you are lucky one right at the drop down. You need to save these at any cost or you are screwed.
I didn't have spawn or if it did it was a drop I didn't know how to get to.
-
Yes
-
Pretty sure it has
-
It would be cool to know your being seen but I feel that might be a problem. Like a Michael spamming stalk with scratched mirror, cause bye bye your ears.
-
I think I've seen pinhead the least. Singularity I get every now and then but it has been a while and I don't expect to see them with Hawkins out rn.
-
I haven't played singularity in a second because I'm bad lmao but when I played on it first match yesterday, I knew it was going to be awful. Its hell for pinhead too lol
-
Yeah it didn't take skill. It was on deathslinger oh I land a good shot on you, be collision makes you stuck, or I hit you, and now your rewarded for MY GOOD SHOT. It was the most frustrating thing to get stuck in a chase that lasted forever because of that perk. Dead lock became a necessity. As for ultimate weopon, I don't use it, but I've played against it enough to understand that it's a bit strong. Maybe change it to 40 second cool down, 20 second use.
-
Dude, blights are the most fun I've had in a while. I don't see them often but they're good, it's a really refreshing power to go against and feels fun trying to out play them. I do still agree the addons need a pass, especially alc ring. Double speed is still fun though
-
I for the most part like the map but I have a couple of changes that would make it perfect imo. I'd love to see more doorways because it's a maze sometimes and on a 110 killer it feels like it takes way to long to patrol gates. I think some loops need changing, and for the love of god, put a hook on the 3rd floor.
-
Slinger main, I love the nerf, but hate it at the same time lol. I think its usage will die off though so it can't be that bad. Now my one problem with the nerf is that I wished it was more reasonable, not just another perk that flipped ends of its strength, from godly to bad. I still will hate that perk for forever but I don't like that the pattern continues.
-
He's always needed a buff. But now that you being up the 20 meter effective range, slinger has 18 meter range limit, why can't he be 4.6?
-
Blast mine red herring is so fun.
One of my favorite combos is a super unhook build one, desprate measures, we'll make it, no one left behind, then either throw on hope or bt. The main reason I love this is the super fast heals you get and then also if necessary you can trade and guarantee safety. Another fun build is ressurgance solidarity and we'll make it. Unhooked or unhook someone, heal them first either case and it should heal you to. If they have sloppy its different then though. Just run we'll make it in any build though as it's super fun.
-
Well I get your logic, and I'm in the same feeling right now. Slinger feels unplayable, and pinhead is still bugged. I deal with mft every game, this game is rapidly losing it's fun. I play nurse and blight that changes, but it doesn't feel as fun as actually stomping with say slinger or pinhead. Some actually difficult but rewarding killer. No one can stop you from playing certain killers but I'd say try to learn more killers is just fun.

Anyone arguing it's stronger is someone whose opinion you can safely ignore. It's better in a few limited situations, but it is a major nerf. It's like trying to argue that DH is better now than it was.
I mean, its definitely gonna become good for anti tunnel, and it will be the bane of some slinger players but yeah as you said, it's only gonna be good in some cases. Kinda glad to see it gutted but I know that means behavior will continue gutting perks instead of actually fixing them.
-
I wouldn't say it's op but it's definitely good. I don't run it and I'm still able to chain loops pretty well and I still won't run it as I'd rather learn maps but that's just me.

Just give Deathslinger 24m lullaby, change the TR based addons and proper iron sights, that'd be a good start.
I'd love to see the terror radius addons changed into faster ads addons

Oh a survivor wanting meta perks so the killers life can be insufferable, no way. I like the changes, I want to see something other than mft every match, cause variety in perks is fun. Although this change to it will mean I'll have to stop playing slinger at this point. I will say this, the buff to trickster seem excessive.
-
Good. That perk needs to rot away.

The issue I have with the changes is that they don't really address any of his counterplay issues at all. The question was never whether or not dodging knives felt consequential. I guess maybe that might be the case if you were playing against an MMR 10 Trickster who couldn't aim. His counterplay issue has always been: low wall tile or open space = death, and high wall tile = predrop to deny throwing angles. His counterplay has always been very binary and non-interactive. If the killer is any good, you go down almost instantly if it's a map asset he can hit over. If you can actually get to a jungle gym or rock filler, just predrop it and safe vault it until he breaks it or bloodlusts it.
These buffs don't really change any of that. The exact same problems will be present. And really, the problems will be exacerbated with more frequent Main Events and faster throwing speed along with a lack of recoil. If the killer player is any good at the game, there is no counterplay to this in an open space. You are not dodging enough knives before he empties his clip. This rework seems to be tuned around really bad Trickster players. The good ones are going to be insufferable. The counterplay to a power can't be "hope you load into a favorable map".
Hope you load into a favorable map has been this game for so long. I enter garden, lerys, haddonfield. There's more once you factor in ranged killers(110).
-
I'll have to play him over slinger at this point if I want an actually decent ranged killer.

For me, it's a double kick in the nuts. Not only is the perk now useless for my Survivor games, it also indirectly nerfs my two Killer mains!
Thanks to The Legion being one of the few Killers that this perk will always be very effective against, as well as also countering one of the few decent Trapper add-ons (the yellow one that puts Survivors in deep wound).
Lets not forget the addition of decent Killer haste perks like Rapid Brutality and recent buffs to other perks like Coup De Grace, Furtive Chase and Claustrophobia.
Presumably these were all added / buffed to stop Killers whinging about MFT for months.
Now that MFT's been gutted, will these perks be getting a nerf too?
Same here. I'm a slinger main and I really enjoy legion. This is especially frustrating for slinger as I love him and already have problems with mft.

The game either needs K&M support on console or BHVR needs to stop designing killers specifically for K&M. Blight and Trickster all but literally spit in the console player's face. I main Nemesis, and I love him but I know part of the reason is because he compensates for some of consoles' limitations: strafing with the tentacle is what makes his power actually useable on controller, and his zombies aren't hindered by the performance issues. BHVR should be embarrassed those are reasons someone would choose a specific killer in their roster.
Meanwhile some idiots think nemo should not be able to drag like seriously? He's already in a bad spot.
-
What the heck did lethal do, mft is infinitely stronger.

Came to the forums to suggest this. It should be limited to one or two. Maybe one outright blacklist and one prefer not to play against but still might have to sometimes.
IF a certain killer can't get any matches, then that's a great indicator that the design is broken and ruining the game for the people they play against. I.e., if a killer gets blacklisted by all, then the devs can take it off and rework it so it's better. Democracy in action.
It seems as though people have different preferences on that, probably based on their playstyle. I can tolerate the doctor, the shape, the blight, but I will DC immediately when the wraith shows up. Hell no. I don't need that stress.
I would love that idea actually I don't like a few killer but the ones I don't like it's by design so not much the player themselves can do, but this would bypass it.
-
Yeah I've seen very little builds other than mine and my friends because when playing we want to be fair, but of course no survivor mains have that logic. I'll be over here though suffering on slinger because people only run windows mft resilience and hope like what am I supposed to do there. Lose?
-
Meanwhile whispers. Either way boohoo one good info perk for killer and suddenly everyone has the pitchforks out
-
Sorry to say but like if I have one hour and I want to wind down playing survivor, and I don't want to deal with that killer, I'm not gonna waste my time and stick around.

Don't forget they confirmed MFT nerf coming soon and most likely more meta perks like WoO, resilience, adrenaline, it will nerf survivor across the board
i don't see them doing "anti-tunnel mechanics" but DS should be buffed to help a bit, current DS is just pathetic I'm sorry, there are only 2 anti tunnel perks they need to be decent
I'm glad to hear more than mft is going to be nerfed. As a killer player I agree that the anti tunnel should be stronger as conspicuous actions exist now. It's one less person on gens and healing others.
-

his chains need buff. he is weak in 1vs1 but has strong 4vs1 passive. your not playing him wrong. he is not very good at 1vs1 and he is needed buff in 1vs1. His chains should not break on environment and he should not break his own chains. he could also maybe use 0.25 buff to durability on his chains.
he is not weakest killer due to his passive game-delay but he is almost pure m1 vs top player until they buffed his anti-loop.
I hope you understand how strong he would be if the chains couldn't break on the environment. Making it take longer to break is gonna be the best outcome
-
Run impaling wire. Chains break fast by environment, this addon won't let them do that. I'd also recommend franks body to interrupt the box, as the pressure you get is insane. Lastly save the best for last is good, you can hit then chain pretty much guaranteeing a down.

DS needs to find its way back into the meta.
The “tunnel” meta has become so common, because there are fewer and fewer people running it.
I leave DS on every single game, and I have no plans of taking it off. It does need a second perk with it to be really viable, I recommend DH or OTR.
Even as a killer main I still agree. I don't tunnel most of the time other than the occasional annoying survivor. The 3 second stun is a joke. They could bring it back to 5 because of the conspicuous actions, and that gets me one person off of genarators then.
-
No where to hide. But remove it on blight and nurse.
-
Slinger and pinhead because I like suffering, mine or survivors.
For survivors its leon, ace, yui, and felix.
-
It's possible. I've done the math
-
Cowboy man
-
Yes, keep in mind the big rewards give 100 not 50 and you get 25 instead of 15 per challenge on the second page. Also completing it gives 400.
-
Leave tombstone be. They get to fall into his arms fine.
-
With the hook spawns on maps like swamp I can't even blame you, but other than that don't slug.
-
That's debatable but I do definitely enjoy healing perks as I'm very altruistic. That being said if I feel like it my build literally has mft and resilience, with adrenaline slapped on.
-
It's certainly funny to do.
-
So when basekit agitation then?
-
I could care less for adrenaline, as I like slinger buuuuuuut I do think there needs to be a made for this change. Windows is whatever to me, I normally shoot them when they try to chain loops. I would say gen rushing is a problem but I play a 4.4 killer so ofc it sucks for me, I'm to slow. But even then, through 3 slowdowns gens fly. I'd say maybe just maybe throw on 5 seconds to the gens. Just make life a tiny bit easier.
-
Laughs in tombstone. No but seriously I love the afc but I also play slinger and when I need to stay in an area because there's and almost complete gen and a hooked survivor it agitates me.
-
Slinger is gonna finally be fun.
-
I'd say skull merchant but I never see them and when I do it's just auto game end. The ones I actually play against instead of game ending and hate is clown and huntress. I hate clown so much because it's just oh woopdie doo you can't run now. Huntress I just dislike her range, and unlike slinger theres no noise that she's about to hit you.
-
You go to take a hit then I when I'm not going for you I will hit you then down you. You lost the right to call it tunneling
-
Definitely. Survivor end it's just constant tunneling. Feels so boring unless your in a swf but then like I get rage quiting nurses, or just bully a killer way to much and I feel bad. Killer, it's just mft mft mft all the time it's so frustrating, especially with hope, as I'm a death slinger main or rather, was. The maps are horribly designed which makes the experience even worse.
-
I normally run we'll make it in my build as I'm heavily altruistic and it just shreds sloppy. When I use it and heal people they normally feel inclined to heal me back.
