And you think 3% on survivors is same as 3% on killer?
Her speed is not really on command anyway, it's up to survivors when and how much she get. She should almost never get above 3%, if she does, then you can blame yourself/teammates for playing bad.
It is on commend, drop a drone and get haste/undetectable. Her drone should be the reason to use it and not that buff!
Yes killer speed and survivor is the same if you argue with speed. It helps the killer in the same way as survivors!

Too fast? Those 3%... Kinda funny to say when Clown has 10%.
She has many things, but most of them are not really good. She is not best at anything after her rework and addons nerfs.
You know why mft got nerfed, because of those 3% and everybody cried to change it!
I think she has too much, but just my opinion.

Being unfun is not reason for straight nerfs.
As I said, it can lead to changes, but not direct nerfs without anything else.
Here we are waiting for 3.0
I still think she is too strong, she has something from everybody like trapper, clown, Ghost face, legion and she is too fast.
-
@VomitMommy said:
Her stealth is only thing that improved about her. Everything else is worse... Speed, Chase, Information, Defending gens / totems, just everything except stealth.
You think she has too many status effects? Remove broken. It doesn't do that much, just make it always mending.
Her high kill rate is mainly because of survivors giving up and also stealth, because many survivors don't look around for some reason..
She is in state, where she could get some changes, but not really straight nerfs, that would kill her.
But that‘s the point nobody likes playing against her, because she is more unfun than a god nurse.

I‘ve sold a friend to the killer as soon as he said he is exposed.

Her drones still have to scan you 3 times before you’re ever injured. It’s not that hard to hack them or go around.
But her stacks don‘t disappear. Everytime she chases you in drones it‘s a free hit, but that’s not my problem. It‘s mainly that she gets undetectable and haste+ drones only go on cooldown.
-
@Atom7k said:
I know it sounds like a wild shot but hear me out.
Yes you can hack the drones and they are down for less then a minute. But she is the only stealth killer who has absolutely no downside. Wraith needs to uncloak, Ghostface can be pulled out of Nightshroud, The dredge (is probably crying about its stealth ability) has an integrated dyson v12. Onryo has lullaby, Xeno is only stealthy in tunnels.
So she can just activate her stealth whenever she likes, can retrive drones in the meantime and reactivate it. If you play her correctly you have almost unlimited stealth, no red stain, no lullaby no nothing. You even get faster when scanning someone. How is that justified?
According to statistics she is too strong. Heck she got 68,45 % killrate 2 months ago and 64 % the last two months.
She needs a downside for stealth. A lullaby would be sufficient but right now you just have zero information of her whereabout which makes small maps and especially indoor maps a total nightmare.
Her 3 Gen potential got nerfed yes, but the drones are too powerfull now.
I agree she has too much in her kit.
Why does she get haste and undetectable, alone these two effects are a own power. Just sad, that she has a better stealth than ghost face and also drones that injure people by doing nothing. Her drones should be deactivated by survivors permanently until she goes there and activates them again like trapper.

Ah yes! I have read this before. This was the same thread I put my ideas and thoughts on too. (P100 sadako)
these are great ideas and I agree with them 💯!
I‘m happy you liked them.

@jonifire said:
My ideas: (I focus on her old version)
Tvs
- Very short/no cooldowns. If survivors want to take your ability away to be everywhere instantly, they have to take a tape
- TVs have an area around them, where you get a small amount of condemned (when on) just by being close and by looking at the clip on the Tv you get more passive condemned
Tp
- No 10s cooldown, instead only the time you need to change the mode to allow her fast mobility again, which was the coolest thing
- Speed boost after crawling out of the tv
- Looking around while crawling out of an tv to have a better orientation in chase
- The radius around tvs, which gives you condemned after a tp, gets split in three areas. First radius around the TVs (16-20m) 0,5 stacks, in the second radius (8-16m) 1 stack and close to the TVs (0-8m) 2 stacks. So that you would be rewarded to chase survivors into TVs.
- Condemned should be applied at the start of the crawling out a TV animation, not afterwards
- all areas around TVs (16m) give 1 stack condemned (maybe only as addon)
Demanifast/Manifast
- Faster switch between both forms
- More lagging and glitching around, so that survivors have a harder time tracking you
- Pallet immunity like now
- Chases count as chases in demanifast
- The demanifast glitching should stay a bit longer after switching
- I would also like her terror radius to return in demanifasted mode so people would be scared and run into me, because they don‘t know from where I come. As I started playing against her I did that quite often. I heard the terror radius, then I started to run and she just appeared out of nowhere in front of me.
Tapes
- I would want the tapes to be like before the rework, because in the current form I don‘t like that people switch off TVs only to counter condemned. If it was willingly it would be fine, but so I hate it.
- With short/no TV cooldown you have to pick one up, otherwise she can tp around all the time. After taking one the tv shuts down for 50-70s.
- After putting it back in the tv you lose condemned stacks
- you only have one tv to put the tape like before
She shouldn’t have her lullaby shown in the visual heartbeat. Maybe it‘s only me, but I can hear and I don‘t hear any lullaby, so I see it in the visuel heartbeat -> ah there is something and know she is there.
I would also like her old iri addon to return.
What do you think of my ideas?
They were from before the ptb.
-
Outside of traps I would buff all aspects of crouching and her ambush to be useful.

No because this is such a good point! Playing against Pig should feel more like a Saw movie. Not exactly necessary but would make her much more interesting. I saw a rework concept somewhere where Survivors start with head traps installed and they're activated by doing conspicious actions. Imagine that with voiceovers from Jigsaw.
Activating through conspicious actions would be great and lore accurate.
-
I would love seeing it return!
Some ideas to bring it back and balance it:
After a certain number of self heals it needs to be blessed again.
Killers can damage boons, which needs to be repaired, before blessing it again.
Giving the boon blessing sound a direction, so killers know in which direction the boon is located.
Maybe giving the perk a cooldown after each self heal.
-

Hatch isn't really a core mechanic anymore, it's a stalemate failsafe, so in their current iteration I don't see any perks interacting with Keys, unless it grants a broken key with useful add ons.
I think after some requirements survivors, should be allowed to escape through hatch as team. Maybe after all gens are done, after some side quest or through an iri survivor offering.

Sorry to ask, but you play mostly survivor or killer?
CoH was mess because you need to get into a chase until the end - down the survivor - or your time spent just hurting the survivor would be lost in a matter of seconds. Medkits had the same problem. I remember using a build before medkits got nerfed that i could heal myself in 8 seconds twice in a match, or even more times if used build to last. Not that tunneling is not a problem now, but tunneling was the "rational choice" back then, because taking chases with another survivor was a mistake - people healed lighting fast and it didn't matter if you hit them or not.
The new system of gen kick limit comes into play in current version of the game; applying it into an older version would be a great problem. And trust me: you would not want to face the Old Eruption + Overcharge + Call of Brine combo, specially if you play Solo.
I still think Boon need some tweaks today like a faster placement but with the possibilty that killers break the totems if they snuff the boon.
DH was a problem for a couple of years. It might looks cool seeing in retrospect but it rewarded players for playing badly, since you could easily save yourself from a hit without
Really, the game is a in much better state now than before. Broken stuff is "fun" until the other side start to only bring broken stuff or give up from the game entirely.
I started with playing survivor back then and now I play mostly killer.
I just think COH nerf was bad and made the perk terrible. There would be many ways of changing it for the better, but removing the self care aspect! Also it helped a lot in solo q, which I played at the time. Right now solo q is just😭!
Medkits; why is it a problem to heal fast, when I make a build around it, Killers can do the same too with a lot of perks. I just think there should be an useful difference between grey and purple.
After those two changes were made, tunneling got by far a bigger problem in my rounds. Maybe just because healing got nerfed that badly, which makes it easier to tunnel now. Maybe.
I would suggest boons to have a cooldown, you need to repair them, before blessing them again or you can here from which direction the blessing sound came Map wide as killer.
The kick meta; no idea how it was, but overcharge, call of the brine and eruption are to weak now.
At least DH should come back as perk during event game modes or somehow else. It‘s just such a cool perk.
Right now most survivor perks are just bad and don‘t make each game feel different, engaging and fun. Most times the killer just plays sweaty af and it‘s just not fun! On the other side survivors don‘t have anything to compete with the killer, they are just fresh meat (I don‘t talk about top 5% of players).

Really, i REALLY wish to know what are affecting people in this forum saying "playing killer is too easy", while they say they hook everybody twice before killing and never ever use gen regression perks. Like, i've seen 10 different people saying this and makes no sense to me. Even comp/very experienced players struggle to play some matches (people with 10k hours+, specially on tier B killers) and then there is some people in forums claming that they can win EVERY GAME playing brainlessly. Are these people straight up lying to try to make a point? It seems like it.
For me, its impossible to that someone who have played more than a couple of matches in killer had not to struggle a little bit at least after winning some matches, specially when you start to face the meta perks + map offerings almost every match. I remember when i started playing DBD, i had like 60 hours in the game, and then i've faced 3 matches in a row 2k hours SWFs with 2020' Decisive, BT and DH.
With MMR being such a mess as it is, how can people say that playing killers is easy????
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3625070#Comment_3625070
CoH was the Hell on Earth for killers, specially after the initial release of Mikaela. Even Legion couldn't get people injured when someone brought Circle of Healing; DH was basic a free health state + extra distance from killers at will. Also, there was the gen kick meta where almost every killer could stall the match almost forever with Eruption + Call of Brine + Overcharge.
@topic The game is a much healthier state now. I just i could play like, 8 matches with 2016 DBD, but then go back to current version and never play it anymore.
Not everything about COH was bad. First it made the rounds for killers longer, so that he had enough time to get a lot of pallets down. Also for survivors it was by far more fun than now, you had a chance to heal yourself, after you got away from a tunneling killer. If they wanted to kill COH they shouldn’t have nerfed medkits to be that bad. There is literally no difference between grey and purple ones.
I had no big issue with the gen kick perks, but with the new system, that wouldn‘t even be a problem now?
For COH I would have introduced, so that killers can damage boon. Then survivors would have to repair them and bless them.
DH should go back to his jump/ sprint version. It just was such a cool perk, which aloud you a lot of fun plays.

Personally don't see the problems with the newer maps. If anything, a lot of them are fairer now, giving killers more counterplay. Haven't run into any crazy deadzones personally, and most pallets in my experience are still good enough to work with.
Borgo for example, the times I played on that map, it didn't have any crazy deadzones. I also fail to see how the loops on that map are weak in any way or form.
Coldwind can spawn deadzones for sure but except for Rancid Abattoir I never felt like those maps have too few pallets. Especially considering a lot of the coldwin pallets are ridiculously strong.
I also fail to see how Nostromo has nothing but bad loops. Certainly the average tile on that map is weaker than on other maps, but that just means M1 killers have a bit more counterplay. And I certainly have seen some strong tiles on those maps as well.
Dead Dawg I can see being a bit killer sided, just like Midwhich. But nothing crazy in my experience.
Really the only map that got changed in a bad way was Rancid Abattoir. That map I agree spawns too few pallets on average.
Borgo is terrible, it so bad for survivors. I haven’t lost once there as killer.

I don't know her kit enough to decide whether or not this will be a meaningful impact. I'm just hoping she will stop being as much of a DC temptation as Skull Merchant.

A lot of survivor specific things in that list. How about old mori's, OG Billy, OG Nurse, old ruin to name a few. My answer would be absolutely as the game used to fun years ago and dare I say less toxic. My guess is because the game had so many broken things people took it less seriously and actually embraced it.
I would accept everything, except of old nurse.

I started the game some weeks, before COH got killed, so I definitely want that perks back from there. I don‘t know except of COH what else got changed and the jump/sprint DH was very cool.
I don‘t want to loose the good parts and good changes, just the fun things should return, that this game isn‘t so stale and more random.
-
I watched a video (https://youtu.be/fbG_U2x3sW0?si=YGvzL9koSLdPyWuP) last days, where a YouTuber talked about some old fun mechanics like space Billy, being able to climb on rooks, run on walls of swamp and making huge jumps with demo. It looked so cool and we could have it, but invisible walls. Also you could push the killer away from you in a hole, by jumping out of a locker (I don‘t know whether it got removed).
I agree, we should get cool old strong perks back. I would be so happy to jump over holes with dead hard and do other things fun things.

There is risk.
The cooldown on TVs is very short and predicting the target TV can mean certain death for the survivor if the team is not playing together.
If course the sadako has to play strategically well and pay attention to taken tapes and TV cooldowns.
Its skillful. Something she desperately needed to return.
If you play her badly, she will not be as strong as right now. If you play her really well, she could even outperform the current version I bet.
Depends on the addon changes.
I mean when they won‘t get condemned, then people will just turn TVs off around gens and with the current cooldown, it will be 70s (I think).

16m was good if played correctly.
It's now gonna be 16m around EVERY TV.
TVs are around gens. Therefore people have to get off gens and have to interact with tapes.
Do you think without getting passive condemned from tapes, it will be a bad counter for her?
So people always take tapes and shut down whole areas of the map, because there is no risk.
-
I want the skill check ruin back. It was funny, especially with merciless storm!

I believe these things are explained in the Dev update on the first page of this thread.
- When The Onryo teleports, Survivors within 16m of a powered TV will receive a stack of Condemned.
- The teleport cooldown has been removed, allowing her to teleport more frequently.
- When a Survivor is hooked, their current Condemned progress becomes locked in, preventing it from being removed.
Cursed Tapes
We’ve also reviewed the way Cursed Tapes work to bring back some of their fondly remembered behaviour.
- Cursed Tapes no longer protect Survivors from gaining Condemned.
- Cursed Tapes are no longer destroyed or inflict Condemned when a Survivor is hit.
- Cursed Tapes can only be deposited in the further TV from where they were picked up.
That does not answer my questions.
1.Will she be undetectable in her ability?
2.There is nothing about the TV cooldown, only about the tp cooldown.
3.Does it do anything else than turning of TVs like giving a survivor condemned by holding a tape.
-
@Xernoton said:

Quick question: Do failed skill checks also count as regression events? I would especially like to know how this might impact Huntress' Lullaby.
No it does not count as regression event.
He wrote something like, it‘s the survivors vault, when missing and so the killer doesn‘t do anything.
-
1.Is Sadako still undetectable in her ability?
2.How long will the Tv cooldowns be?
3.Do the tapes only deactivate TVs and remove condemned, when putting them in a TV? (Passive condemned, when holding one?)
Edit: I changed the first question, because I got it wrong.

This is a little difficult to answer. Before, his turn rate was based on your controller sensitivity setting (even if you were using mouse & keyboard). Many Hillbilly players would set their sensitivity to 100% to turn faster and have tighter curves.
So the end result depends on what your controller sensitivity was before:
- If it was less than 100%, he will now turn faster.
- If it was 100%, he turns at the exact same rate as before.
Thx

Just to clarify a bit, it is not just a 16m area. It now applies within 16m of any powered TV, not just the one you teleported to. It will actually cover a decent chunk of the map unless Survivors take the time to shut off nearby TVs.
Does Grim Embrace stack with Thrilling Tremors, so that we have a total time of 28s (12s+16s)?

-
Nostromo has a lot of very bad loops, but somehow I can play with it. When compared to borgo, which is just as big as Gideon meat plant with one floor, Nostromo has at least a big map.
My main issue is the three gen in main, which can easily be abused. I had a mirror Myers there and he waited so long out of sight in the ship, until we were close enough for the hit. Then he repeated it so long until everybody gave up.

Trade 1 with another 1 is already the risk...And STBFL exists.
I mean when you want to deactivate perks etc from survivors in endgame. STBFL will be next in the patch notes, because it can be unfair. I don‘t want that perks from both sides deactivate during endgame.
-
Hook grabs shouldn‘t have been removed. It only encourages hook trades with no risk. I liked the mind game, before the grab that you had to do. Often I got grabed one mili second before I unhooked someone. Good times.
I‘m not a fan of perks deactivating in endgame. In my opinion they should be active for both sides, otherwise STBFL will be patched soon to not work in endgame. Both sides should be able to have an interesting endgame with chances.
The AFC feature is really annoying. If it wouldn‘t deactivate, endgame would already be a lose with no chances for killers. So I think they meant; they don’t want to take away all chances there.

Lightweight can't really be any better without being broken imo. It already reduces scratch mark duration from 10 to 5. Then makes spacing more inconsistent. I think people just don't use it because you can't see the difference it makes from the killer point of view at the same time.
I can‘t tell the difference and how much it does. Mostly it feels like the killer finds me anyway.

I think the concensus (or was before nerf) was if you have time to heal or repair a gen after an unhook then you're clearly not being tunneled as you have time to do those actions.
When it didn't deactivates during the conspicuous actions then the perk was a free 60 second immunity. Something along those lines.
60s immunity is fine in my opinion. The thing is 3s stun doesn‘t help and is literally not much distance.
How often does it happen, that you heal each other under the hook and the killer returns just a second, before your heal is finished? For me that happens regularly and that is in my opinion tunneling. Only because you healed the other and got healed for 2s that doesn‘t mean you are safe.
I think many players don‘t like to bring a perk that hinders their gameplay. Current DS only encourages to run into the killer and then DS is obvious. When you go heal or do the objective it deactivates and it doesn‘t matter, whether the killer is slowly coming to tunnel you or even undetectable.

Dash DH will probably never come back. It would need some sort of change, it was way too strong, at least in my opinion.
Current DH is really heavy on the risk/rward factor - A third healthstate is extremely strong. That being said, maybe it doesn't have to be as risky.
I would just give the old DH a 60-80s cooldown and then I think it would be fine. It was such a cool perk. It‘s sad that we don‘t get cool ability perks for survivors. Just strong perks with a new chapter, that get nerfed and everybody returns to Sprint burst etc.
