If you hear him charging his dash then just don't run away from him(unless you know you're far enough to avoid getting hit) because you can pretty much do the same trick to him that you can do to Nurse where you can run at him and make him miss.
Chucky can cancel his dash into hit by releasing M2

Chucky has a base movement speed of 4.4 m/s (110%). The speed modifier of Slice & Dice is 1.5, so Chucky moves at 4.4 m/s x 1.5 = 6.6 m/s (110% x 1.5 = 165%).

Incorrect. Chucky isn't a normal movement speed killer. He is 110%.
i swear it feels faster. i was easily catching survivors sprint bursting away from me. It almost feels like Blight dash, maybe even faster

Besides that, Decisive Strike has already been used throghout the match without a doubt, so.. That perk has no effect anymore, unless the killer can't tunnel the currently vulnerable survivors during the EGC, which is entirely their fault.

You're jumping to unnecessary assumptions, and I don't know what to address first; You jumping to the assumptions, elaborate the point I was trying to make, or go with your flow..?
The killer can easily get two sacrifices per a match, even more if the killer tunnels.. Which happens every single match anyway, so you're plainly exaggerating to have the point twisted to your narrative. The killer can also play with perks like No Way Out or Blood Warden, furthermore prolonging those mentioned time within your response, and easily countering the two perks I have mentioned.
Besides that, Decisive Strike has already been used throghout the match without a doubt, so.. That perk has no effect anymore, unless the killer can't tunnel the currently vulnerable survivors during the EGC, which is entirely their fault.
The killer can always use perks like Save The Best For Last, Rapid Brutality, (...) to catch up to the survivors even more quickly, furthermore making this kind of play look easy while you're trying to complicate things without any valid reason.
well, it was all about "making DS and OTR work after 5 gens"
I'm all in for DS reverting back to 5s, but working after gens are done is a big NO

You get a Debuff when searching Chests or cleansing Totems, but you are silent while doing so. This is considered a Nerf and IMO rightfully so. I think Side Objectives should not be slowed down, it is also even bad for the Killer, if Survivors dont cleanse Totems or open Chests due to a Debuff, they will spend more time on a Gen.
IMO this can be fixed if they would just only apply this Part if in the Killers Terror Radius. You dont need to be silent anyway when the Killer is full map away, it would make sense that the Survivor is more careful (so slower, but silent) when the Killer is nearby, so only applying the Speed Penalty and silent-effect while in the Terror Radius is the way to go. (Also a neat little Buff for Stealth-Killers)
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3575831#Comment_3575831
The funny thing is that the Killer still gets the Notification-Bubble if the Survivor has Calm Spirit. So they might not scream, but the Killer will still see them, especially when they are already looking in the direction of the Survivor.
no, you don't get it. Just played a match with UW, had Claudette with Calm Spirit - zero screams and zero "bubbles"

Decrease the duration of Off The Record to ~30 seconds, but make it work even after having all of the generators completed;
Increase the regression effect of Hex: Ruin from the current ~100% to ~200%;
Remove the penalty while cleansing or blessing a totem while using Calm Spirit, as well as removing the penalty of opening the chest while keeping the silent opening;
Make Mettle of Man token based, gaining each token for a protection hit, unsafe unhook, or reviving survivors from the dying state;
Decrease the duration of Deadlock from ~30 seconds to ~20 seconds;
.. And that's probably all for the time being..
so, back to free escapes after 5 gens completed? What is killer supposed to do, if someone gets unhooked at the end, and exit gate is open? 30 seconds is more than enough to make it across the map, and if you don't, you still have 60 seconds to crawl out

It is about guessing my friend. If you see flashlight, you get light borne. If you see Medkits, you get sloppy. If you see tool boxes, slow down perks.
So, claiming that this game is not a counterpick game is not only inaccurate. It is a false statement.
by your logic "if you see IW - you use (beast of prey) Bloodhound'
The difference is that you can't see IW before the game starts, unlike flashlights, medkis and toolboxes

Voice Chat
- right off the bat we have to take notice that dbd and tcm are NOT in anyway the same. just because its the same genre doesn't mean its the same game, look at friday the 13th the game as a huge example. yes their all in the same genre, but they are not the same gameplay wise. dbd hasn't had vc ever and it shouldn't have it now, as it would do more harm than good to the overall health and state of the game. it would make the killer playerbase slowly start deuterating in player count as survivor comms is literally a 4 man swf every game. sometimes some survivors wont even join vc which could make the game turn out worse for survivors, and hell it would just make playing killer completely miserable. there are MANY different ways to help solo survivor gameplay feel improved, but comms would fundamentally break the game and throw off the games balance into a completely different direction and quite possibly would be even more impossible to balance as it would be an on and off because the game would depend on whether or not a survivor is in voice chat.
Show Who Is In a Party
- this one is even worse, as it would further ruin match quality. a part of why the MM feels bad is because of lobby dodging, and lobby dodging happens when the killer looks at a survivors profile/prestige level and decides that "oh that player is most likely really good, no thanks i wanna have easier matches" and leaves the lobby to find a next one. if the killer is able to see which survivors are in a party together, that would effectively make lobby dodging even MORE common as killer players dont like going against SWF. having this in the game would quite literally deuterate match quality and the games quality as a whole, and would make the game feel awful.

Simple solution: Show it in post-game chat only. So, it's "too late" to lobby dodge, but you can still get an info, was it very well coordinated solo players, or SWF using VC
Also, it'll show players statistic, how often they play against solo/SWF

"Sacrificing 1 survivor = Killer being super-dumb with hooking??"
If you go for the first Hook you see - yes. Killers are totally fine with going for other Hook when they reach a Scourge Hook, but suddenly it becomes impossible to use anything else than the nearest Hook when there is no Scourge Hook nearby?
When you play Killer you can easily go to 3 or 4 different Hooks when you pick up a Survivor. If you always pick up the nearest Hook and create a Deadzone, this is your own fault as Killer.
and what if survivor "comp corners" you before dying and you have only 1 hook, that you're able to reach? You shouldn't hook him so you don't lose that one hook?

I thought the forums were supposed to be killer sided, lol.
I’ll say this: The reaction to others’ frustration some people here have is itself a bit immature, but at the same time some people here have an extreme reaction to their main being disabled.
Not exactly surprising, since Wesker has easily the biggest playerbase, but when Nurse and Dredge were disabled for a month I do not recall seeing this much of a reaction.
I understand that not being able to put points in him is frustrating. But then… there’s so many other characters for you to dump your points into.
Try someone else. You might discover an entirely different killer you like. Or, god forbid, get a second main, like me.

The difference is that he gets disabled at the anniversary event, where you gets TONS of BPs, and also exclusive cakes. But you can't spend those BPs on your favourite character, because thanks BHVR

This could have been easily fixed by making the perk opt in for the hooked survivor. 'Hold E to cancel reassurance' literally solved every issue with the perk.
That fix was suggested to the devs as a way to keep the perk relevant for it's intended purpose, even in the rare, outlier scenario that at least 2 survivors and the killer were all coordinating to hold someone hostage. Which is what it took to make that happen with a 30s duration, 40s cooldown, and 6m range.
But instead, the perk was gutted and is only useful if you have comms. Even then it can barely function in places like the basement, where the hooks are simply out of range until you're at the bottom of the stairs.
And because reassurance is only marginally useful, now the devs are planning another band aid fix for camping that will suffer a similar fate. It'll get tested, people will complain as much as possible, and it'll also get nerfed into uselessness if it even makes it to live at all.
yeah, that's the option, but then there is a second problem - 2 floored maps
Just imagine the situation: It's an endgame, exit gates are already opened (99%), you hooked survivor on the first floor of, for example, Midwich, and camping him, trying to secure a kill. But there are two survivors on the second floor, that just cycle their Reassurances indefenitly, so, camped survivor never dies. It kinda becomes
hatchhook standoff. Whoever moves first, loses in the endAnd even without endgame scenario, on 2 floored maps it was still a problem imo

Taking a DS reset power bar? Honestly it hurts Doctor the most, but Nurse is still almost nothing. The only fair part is Blight/Spirit.
taking a DS makes power unable to be used for some time? So, it won't affect Doctor and most other killers that much, since they need to close the distance first, but won't let Nurse, Blight and Spirit to catch up immediatly

does starstruck even work on survivors affected by Plaything? 🤔i'm not sure with it
My favorite build right now is Nowhere to hide, Overcharge, Eruption and Dissolution
Dissolution is my personal "addiction" perk on Wesker. It just feels awesome to grab survivor mid pallet vault, cancelling it, and then seeing, how they vault it again and instantly break it (or just slam them in this pallet/near it, that works too. most of the time they will vault it, since they don't get Dissolution notification until it's too late)
Kinda addiction on Nowhere to hide. I hate looking for survivors, that are playing stealthy near gens (and sometimes it can take very long time to find them), so, i just kick gen (and hope there is no Distortion 😅)
Added Overcharge+Eruption to the mix as some sort of gen regression, since i kick gens a lot for Nowhere to hide
As for starstruck, Sloppy butcher, etc M1 perks, i mostly use M2 (sometimes a bit too much), so, they have little to no benefit to me

Don't spread lies. Thana got nerfed because it was stupidly buffed in patch 6.1.0, when it had already recently receive a buff, on top of the fact that it was already getting shadow buffed because gens times were getting increased too in that same patch.
4 stacks of thana during 6.1.0 would mean a single gen would take 115 seconds (that's way more than 8 seconds extra), and considering it could be easily stacked with other slowdown perks it would easily make games last forever, especially on Legion and Plague.
Was the rework effective? No of course not, because now thana is still only viable on legion and plague. But let's not pretend it would not have been a problem
by "stupidly buffed" you mean +0.5% per injured survivor?... Really?

better idea.
a bar on each completed Gen, that fills up if the Killer isn't within 16 metres of it. If it fills up completely, the gen can be repaired again (but the total count of repaired gens doesn't go down). If the killer goes within 16 metres of it, the bar resets to 0

Winning as Knight requires constant pressure and survivors can this build helps the most with that. Especially on bigger maps that are very punishing to play on as Knight.

Imagine two survivors deliberately getting MoM to work... If two survivors are trying to get stacks they aren’t doing objectives. That’s why MoM sucks already. The only time you get MoM stacks is by dive bombing a hook. If 2 people managed to get MoM against you then you did something wrong.
they can invest their time to get MoM to work, and then work on the gens for however long they want, since you physically cannot stop them.
Or they can go to any survivor that is injured, and force you to leave him, or otherwise you'll get infinitely bodyblocked (you hit survivor 1, he loses collision for a while. Now you need to hit survivor 2, since he is blocking you too. Whoops, survivor 1 already gained collision back, so, he bodyblocks you again)
-
"Mettle of Man: After 3 Protection Hit events this perk activates. Taking protection hits while injured won’t cause you to go to down. The perk deactivates upon being fully healed. Upon being healed the killer can see your aura whenever you’re 16 Meters away."
So, if 2 survivors managed to get this perk to work, they become literally unkillable?

With that last part, I think if Behavior changed it so that, in moments where you hit a Survivor mid vault, he slaps them with his tentacle and they go down, using the same animation for when he hits someone who has Endurance.
it was like that on his release (he was just slapping people if they were mid vault). After one patch (i can't remember which one) they changed it to grabbing out of vault

The problem with CoB is that since OC was reworked in 6.1, these two perks do virtually the same thing and they stack. Making them impossible to balance.
If you put CoB in a good place with a healthy amount of regression, then it becomes overpowered when combined with OC and vice versa.
They should never have added regression to Overcharge, and instead doubled down on it's skill check mechanic. But I think what they wanted to go for was having two similar perks, one from an original (potentially free) chapter, and one better version from a later licensed (premium) chapter.
Personally, I would probably buff CoB to about 150%, and then remove regression from Overcharge, instead Overcharge would have new effects based on whether survivors hit or missed it's skill check. Hit = instant 5-8% regression with no noise notification, Miss = blocks gen for 10-20 seconds and provide info to the killer in the form of a white gen. This would prevent it from amplifying CoB and would instead compliment it. If you kept the survivor off the gen for 60s you get value out of CoB, if you didn't, then you got guaranteed value out of Overcharge.
"But I think what they wanted to go for was having two similar perks, one from an original (potentially free) chapter, and one better version from a later licensed (premium) chapter"
I think their idea was inspired with perk "lore" (idk how to call it)
""It is a trap (very hard skill check), But a trap one must step in... (because otherwise gen starts to regress very drasticly)"

i kinda enjoy playing as her, if i get a bit tired and wanna just turn my brain off in the next match and relax
