The regression of fuming mixtape stops after frenzy ends.
So only when you’re in frenzy it activities

I still need help with how fuming is supposed to work

Tbh as someone who t-bags as a survivor at times and killers tunnel me I don’t care because I want them to chase me. The reason why is because I’m confident in looping the killer for most of the game and I do.
-
It’s not necessarily the amount of hooks it’s hook spawns in general that are horrible. Usually 80% of the hooks are on half the map while the other 20% is on the other side.
-
I suggested something similar to this with a unique perk slot to where a survivor or killer can add only 1 of their 3 unique perks in their slot but got rejected

The mmr scoring was updated to adjust based on team outcome a while back. So this is already the case.
Then why is it that I loop a killer for like 3-5 gens die then get a safety pip if I’m lucky
-
Seems cool to have a DC killer but try again is just a worse lightborn also either the bombs or the dogs having both just seems like to much
-
Well the only thing I hate pinky finger is that he can just hit you with the bottle right in your face where he can’t possibly miss then instantly down you
I don’t mind instant down add ons/ perks I just would like them to have a considerable skill floor to use them
-
As much as I would love emotes for both roles this community is too soft to handle them they already complain about bming enough

are you the type to dc or ######### on the hook by falling first? take a break from the game or find a team in discord dbd
That seems a bit much to have to go on a 3rd party platform just to have a fun game
-
Well that’s a swf problem not the perk one of the main things that’s wrong with this game is that everyone here want survivor meta to revolve around swf sweat groups and in turn ruins solo Que and casual play in general how about instead of blaming perks on either side let’s address the main issues first then if perks are a problem then go from there

Centralising traps in the map is a fine idea.
I also like Otz idea of having Trapper being able to open a locker to grab a trap, which will cause the furthest unopened trap away from him to dematerialize.
I don't see that complicating Trapper... any more than trying to pick up a trap when you already have 2 in your hands. Having an advanced QOL mechanic doesn’t make him complicated, players ate smarter than that. He has entry level abilities that you can build upon as you learn the game more.
Ultimately it's BHVRs decision, but I feel it is greater value in making the face of the game decent, than it is to have him be simple, but ultimately keep him in a place where everyone says "Yeah don't play him, cause he sucks".
Well like was also stated BHVR primarily goal is to make as much money as possible to maintain the game and spending time on one f2p killer when there’s like 30 to choose from isn’t going to help them with that also there’s a lot of stuff that needs to be look at in dbd in general so maybe one day if the game is still around

I don't think he even needs a full rework, just some more quality of life changes.
Trap spawns should be centralized rather than spread across the entire map, injured survivors should be downed when freeing themselves from a trap, the Trapper himself should pick up traps faster, and the traps should blend in to the terrain of the maps at least a little bit.
These changes wouldn't suddenly make him S-tier (or really elevate him much at all) but it would at least be a start.
Well there is add ons that do all the effects that you want also I don’t believe fixing trap spawns will fix much anyways because trapper is still a luck based killer either way
-
They’re more than likely never reworking trapper there’s yt videos on this topic but basically they can’t because
- trapper is supposed to be a beginner killer and there’s nothing the devs can do to buff his power without making him more complicated which defeats the purpose
- it’s financial suicide for BHVR to look at killers that are free to play seeing how they need to keep a cash flow to please their license overlords
-
Maybe a killer with some Molotovs as a power I wonder how that would work maybe if you’re hit with one then you’re on fire and have to do a stop drop and roll animation if not then you’ll slowly burn into the dying state

Hook spawns really should addressed, to fix issues on both sides. Why is it that the Midwich can spawn with no hooks on the one side of the building? Making it impossible to hook survivors on that side? But then Gideon will have two hooks in one single room, allowing a killer to face camp two people at once.
I disagree on pallets, it's a one time use, and there are multiple perks to reduce stun and break pallets faster. Trick survivors into dropping them early in match and you can ruin huge loops for late game.
They should look at totem spawns as a whole really. Add more dull totems, but more importantly, add significantly more locations for the totems to spawn on every map. I've memorized several maps worth of locations. It completely invalidates any kind of hex builds on some maps.
Fair enough I just didn’t want to sound like I was bias for one side about the pallets
-
Isn’t this why we have an endgame timer along with people taking the game hostage
-
I heard the devs were looking into reworking 3 gens so I didn’t mention it
-
I wouldn’t say that’s trolling it’s more like dumb decision making

It is not that easy to hit Survivors with ability. And pretty punishing if you don't do so.
True but it’s also a strong mobile map pressure power to granted hillbilly needs some QoL but you gotta be careful with instant downs
-
@NotAnotherDoctor said:
At this point with bots coming just get rid of the DC penalty so people can go next and the team can get a bot. Everyone wins.
So long as the DC penalty exists this is going to get worse, especially when spiteful survivors want to take bots away from their team, which will happen
No just no the bots are a bandage fix in order for the other survivors to not just quit if 1 dcs if you gotta dc every other game then its your skill that’s bad
-
I feel hillbilly and a lot of killers need reworks but hillbilly power is an instant down unlike artists or wesker so there needs to be a relative steep curve

Corrupt deactivates once someone is downed. No Mither and Plot Twist let's you down yourself thus removing Corrupt.
Really I didn’t know that part happened that’s dumb and shouldn’t be a thing
-
I don’t understand how this combo has anything to do with CI
-
playing survivor is a team based game that’s kinda the downside for survivor and tbh nobody should be given anything
maybe at most you should get guaranteed a pip with the vip thing if this were to happen but no guarantee escapes
-
Answered nvm
-
I’m not sure if there can be no dc penalty for certain killers or not
-
I feel boiled over needs a rework it’s just to map dependent
-
Well I use sabo builds a lot in solo que sometimes they work others they don’t but a lot of it is guessing which hook the killers gonna go so having as much Intel on where everything is the best way to go my build is
Alex’s toolbox with saw and cutting wire
built to last
sabo
emapthy
breakout
-
so What are you wanting other than fix servers
-
I feel this would be abuse a lot

If they were all the same they would all be the same rarity, they are not the same, and this isn’t only about medkits it’s about every item and every offering
Well that was before the big nerfs to medkits now medkits only give a 5% healspeed bonus per tier and tbh I believe one day the devs are gonna rework medkits not sure when or even if but eventually I feel so many people are gonna keep pointing this out and may even help keep the game interesting
I’m saving all my higher tiers incase it does actually happen
-
Learn to loop
-
Ya medkits are so bland now I guess the devs didn’t put much thought into changing medkits just worried about nerfing them
-
@[Deleted User] said:
The devs need to buff multiple perks so people have a wide variety to choose from all these nerfs to perks isn’t helping. If both sides have multiple strong perks to choose from variety will happen…
Well buffing bad perks can help but also making other perks than can change the pace of a chance can make things fun to
-
so many wanted this but what I heard it’s not on the list for the devs to do

It doesn't matter what they add because there will always be a meta that a majority of players will run. While this game is not meant to be a properly competitive game, it has enough of the trappings of one that means it can't avoid becoming heavily centralized.
The only thing that will truly spark more build diversity long term is by expanding the game in some way on both sides. Right now no matter what gets added it still needs to basically be made to work within the very stale and limited context of current gameplay. Both sides aren't really encouraged to anything outside the box if it isn't going to truly help their win condition and the win conditions are a bit too simple and killer's win condition actually being somewhat vague makes it so really there aren't a lot of ways to meaningfully affect the game.
Long story long, true variety will only come with the changing aspects of the game to accommodate new and interesting things.
well that’s where the balancing part comes in there’s a difference between tweaking and gutting something and making things more interesting for both sides may add more to the stale and limited gameplay
-
Well I feel there should be BP bonuses on a lot more perks that are a lot harder to pull off like with perks that aren’t gen/heal speed perks like with sabo/flashlight perks or metal of man/ flip flop

cry about it it’s called learning how to play

I like adding new mechanics to the game, but the ones they added for killer were just plain annoying to deal with, the exposed status effect just for 15 seconds of chase and getting into bloodlust, the auto break of pallets denying survivors to vault while in chase and more often then not gives a free down to the killer, the only non problematic one was the enduring which was fine for me to deal with, the creation of pallets was fine too to go against since you could simply respect the pallet or counteract with enduring, and the blocking of windows didn’t last very long either which was fine to go against as well, if the pallets that were made acted as normal pallets then I think that would have made things more balanced with the exposed and the auto break of pallets, but how it is now just makes looping a pain for survivors
Literally both sides and broken mechanics in the game for real I don’t believe this game was meant to be taken so seriously
-
I’m not sure if this is meant to be sarcastic or not lmao

Well, the game is being balanced around the casual bad player, so there isn’t any incentive to get better because any expression of skill is just going to be invalidated via complains anyway.
And you don’t see any problem with that?!

I would like to see daily rituals be reworked as well

Survivors get free movement for the killers doing their job?I don't really have an opinion on MFT, but this isn't really unique. Relentless, no way out, deadlock, etc.
It also makes a lot of sense. If perks rewarded players for completing their objectives, the game would become a stomp
You forgot devour hope

I'm sorry but if I see a lobby with 3 or 4 flashlights, I throw on lightborn because that tells me you're just there to attempt to repeatedly blind me over and over and over. The first time I make a mistake on where I'm picking up or a survivor runs into an open area, you're all there just blinding the killer over and over. That's trolling and harassing the killer at that point and I'd rather not give you that opportunity.
well that’s on you as a player for real use common sense
if a survivor is running into the open and you know everyone has a flashlight where do you think everyone’s at picking daisies
and the whole this and that is “toxic” rather it be flashlights or saboing to morimyers/moris or even instadowns is being confused with fun
do I feel there should be some skill vs reward for these things yes
but to label it all as toxic and change everything to where we’re revolving the game around garbage players because they do know how to play is just baffling to me because it’s taking away a lot of the fun from the game by doing this and LB is a prime example of it to many killers were crying about flashlights so they buffed LB to what it is now
-
@appleas said:
Not sure why Lightborn is an issue, the Killer is essentially sacrificing a perk slot to counter an item. If it causes a “learning deficit”, that’s on them and not you, why do you care?
Even if the majority of the playerbase uses Lightborn and are “garbage”, they aren’t breaking the rules of the game by equipping the perk, if anything it feels more like you’re upset about getting countered by the perk and are trying to gaslight players into not using it.
If people want to be bad at the game, let them be. Who are you to judge?
Well I just feel it’s killers who get destroyed nearly every game cause they have LB equipped and not an efficient perk/build and I feel their voices are being heard more than actual good players
I don’t care what perks you use but I just feel if you’re not good at both roles then your opinions should be invalid and LB is one of those key perks that if I see someone use then they shouldn’t be taken seriously
I just feel the game is revolving around bad players and it’s not good for the game
-
I have something I feel could be a compromise
gens take 120 secs to complete
toolbox charges last 30-50% longer on gens
if more than half worth of toolbox charges are used on a gen then the gen is marked for the killer like basekit tinker
