Franklin's works on every item tho, not just flashlights.
Ok and it will bring BTL back

this should be added sooner along with actual rewards for higher prestiges

My only real issue with this is your ideas about lightborn. The entire point is that the killer Is sacrificing a entire perk slot to stop blinds. It's not necessary to run but if you choose to run it, it should absolutely block every form of blind there is. In my opinion it should remove the stun duration of blast mine as well but that's just my personal opinion.
Atleast you like everything else

Hexes which normally spawn at the start of the match seem weak compared to perks that passively work.
Boons also seem weak to be fair, maybe there’s a niche use for SWFs.
I think adding a mini game to cleanse hexes should be added
-
tbh if survivors can’t die then that kinda removes a lot of the fear aspects of the game maybe this can be another game mode or something but I can imagine this not being as exciting I can agree on escaping is valued way to much because I tend to loop on average 2-3 gens die at the end and there’s times I only get safety pip

I also think this will make built to last more useful to
Lightborn is just too easy to run with no counter play

Well that isn’t fair
Well maybe we’ll get this when we actually have cool cosmics for prestige 100

All boons now have such a bad effect, that changing this would totally kill them. There's no boon in a game now, that would be worth it outside of some niche build/effect.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/375807/hex-buff
Decreasing cleanse speed would create abuse, where hexes would be impossible to cleanse EVER (this one contains thrill of the hunt, face the darkness and specific killer). That's not a way to go.

This is exactly the same thing I proposed in other threads. Even those 20s is the same. Yes. This would be good idea. Hexes are now quite bad (exceptions do exist). Those 20s would be very good change.
Counterforce plus resilience

We wanted a sell option or a combine system for a long time as your inventory gets full of items you will never use.
Maybe in one of their future QoL updates... but i guess not anytime soon.
Well that isn’t fair

Tbh I wish that we could have the choice of not getting hatch and/or map offering

This would be cool.
Thanks I just remembered some games I used to play had options where you could convert lesser tier items as scrap or parts and turn them into better items
-
Lmao as a killer and survivor main it’s quite annoying seeing survivors using BT and such as a shield then complain about tunneling

I'm fine with hexes getting cleansed quickly bc on the other end of the spectrum u can mori everyone w devour. If other hexes were that powerful it'd be ok imo. I think if they gave something to help prevent hexes from getting cleansed early on they should also give something to help cleanse them later on, which I don't like bc it's basically making hexes more comp-y and less part-y
It would give counterforce a use
-
I use LAN cable + resilience killers barley hit me when vaulting

Maybe the totems could also remain unlit until the effects actually proc, in which then it becomes a hex totem.
That would be cool too

Absolutely. It's pretty frustrating when you spawn on a map, try to reach a totem point, and before you get there it's destroyed. Pretty demotivating.
Ya I miss old hex thrill of the hunt where it gave the notification

That's correct, but it depends on the situation and where it makes sense to defend a totem and where not. It doesn't make sense if you know three people are fixing Gens and you only focus one person because you want to interrupt the cleansing. Nevertheless i have a lot of games where i am able to defend a totem while i keep survivors busy. Of course, that depends on how the totem spawns and what area I want to defend.
Howsoever. I totally agree that there should be something that gives the killer the possibility to defend a totem after a match starts.
I honestly don’t care what kind of quality of life changes hexes get as long as they get it

Well tbh I’m a believer that there shouldn’t be 1 perk that’s absolute and even Franklins can be avoided by not getting hit and also running an iridescent add on with one other lens or build will drain a flashlight like crazy so maybe at most 2 saves with lightborn and also there’s counter play to not getting blind as killer anyways

The thing is the longer you block totems, the more reason a survivor has to repair gens. If a survivor says, "Oh, look at that shiny thing, it's so warm and bright I want to touch it." and is allowed to destroy it, the survivor has found another objective instead of repairing generators.
A killer can also use it to keep a survivor busy with multiple interrupts and that's more or less an optional way to pressure survivors what a killer can have. The less that's the case, the more reasons they have to repair.
So I wouldn't add a condition based on generators or too long block time in general. Also, we all know how quickly a generator can be repaired. Sometimes the first one is already finished before you even have the first chase.
Tbh the rate totems are cleansed isn’t really that long anyways and when they do that’s a whole perk gone for the rest of the game of the time so it’s more worth it to survivors to cleanse the totem and only 1 survivor is needed to cleanse a hex anyways so there’s 3 other people doin gen so killer still gets screwed
-
@Veroles said:
I'm not sure if a gen linked condition is the way to go. I think it would be better to have a general block of maybe 20 seconds at the start so the killer has at least a chance to defend totems. Sometimes, especially on big maps like Shattered Square, it's just not possible to get to the totem point before "BOOM" in many cases.
My point I just don’t want it to where survivors can just easily just cleanse a hex the second it’s seen so maybe an indication for the first 2 minutes is f the match then or something
-
@1ettuce said:
I don't think hexes in general need to be buffed just specific ones like everything from huntress lullaby to ruin
well specific changes to certain perks is one thing but I would just like to see a quality of life to where I can consistently get a little use out of a hex and not solely relying on totem rng
-
@Remedicist said:

I also find it funny how boons can be placed infinitely but once a hex is gone its gone
-
I’ll be real about 3 gens 9/10 times it’s the survivor’s fault
-
Well there’s always bamboozle but I agree a lot of annoying loops that favor survivors exist
-
Well tbh a lot of your games as survivor seems to be from you not knowing how to loop or counter killers effectively as a iridescent ranked survivor and killer the game is still winnable for survivors there’s just ups and downs on both sides and it’s on you as a player to actually be able to deal with it.
For example, if a killer camps then gen rush or if a survivor throws the game which happens a lot then you may have to be the one who loops for most of the game it’s still possible I done it and seen survivors do it to me as killer
-
Well I wouldn’t mind something like if a survivor is like half bleed out in dying state or something then you can fully recover
-
@Remedicist said:

Something man and tbh when I play killer I get better games when I don’t run a hex
-
Lmao no as a killer and survivor main learn to use small game, detectives hunch ,counterforce etc also maps can help find totems and totem spawns still aren’t the greatest anyways
