I would imagine a tournament ruleset for a game like this would follow a Smash Bros.-esque pattern of banning and counterpicking maps (offerings can be used to force a certain realm, since it looks like they are otherwise not allowed).
In custom games you can just straight up choose the map
-
I feel like those rules are very fair. Content creators like Otzdarva has proved that you can win with killer 50 times in a row with no add-ons at all. That may be unrealistic to the average player but if this is the championships it should be played by the best of the best. I don't think the maximum potential has been reached by very many players but to those who have something like this should seem balanced.

Lol.
Yes there is.
Escape!
The pipping system and emblem system have nothing to do with win conditions. They’re simply used to determine if you were well matched, or poorly matched against your opponent.
Well if I lead the killer on a 5 min chase but my green rank team do barely any gens and the killer camps me till death is that a loss cuz I didn't escape? The point I was trying to make is that the game says I did "bad" cuz I didn't get any heals or repair time but got 3 people to escape. It's unsatisfying and leaves solo survivors with bad tastes in their mouths
-
My senses are telling me you only play in a 4 man...
-
I feel like a big "problem" with solo survivor is that there aren't any defined win conditions. Like in any semi-competitive game there's always winners and losers. If you did really well in chases but your teammates sucked and didn't do much the game can say you didn't do well (de-pip) but you can feel accomplished. To me that just isn't satisfying enough, like if everybody believes they did well but actually was really bad or vice versa because the game told them so based on their weird ranking systems it just creates weird gameplay that doesn't work out so well. I think the game genuinely needs to have a win and loss condition, like if 3 or more survivors escape that's a win, and vice versa. If that was in place solo survivor would feel so much more defined and make more sense imo. It would fix a lot of issues people seem to have.

If I play in low (which I always have) I average around 55 fps. Some things really affect it tho like the middle room on lery's or being asleep against Freddy.
-
I still see a mori maybe once a day... I play around 8 hours a day tho

I mean all survivors do in terms of objective is do gens sorry that bothers you but trust me survivors don't find it that entertaining either but what can you do?
I think the fact that there are way more survivors than killers shows that survivors like survivor gameplay, even if it's doing gens.
-
Are you really getting mad at people doing the objective efficiently? You should be mad at the ranking system but you shouldn't be mad at red rank survivors playing the game in an efficient way.
-
Oh yeah that's really lame. I honestly liked the new HUD changes up until that... That sucks
-
Are you sure they're actually going away? The perk "section" of the HUD is basically unchanged, I'm sure you can still do it.
-
Demogorgon, bubba, hillbilly, huntress, myers, oni, most of them honestly.
-
- Spirit
- Freddy
- Pyramid Head
-
There are way more people playing on consoles than on PC as a general rule, so I would assume there would be a lot more console players based off of that.

However the same could be same about tunneling. Oh I'm just ensuring my objective is done quickly, should I let them get off the hook, heal and waste another 40-60 seconds of my time? This is why I agree with OP. They are the same in most senses, but tunneling is actually the better of the 2 as it removes 1/4 of you from the map. Gen rushing tends to ensure at least 2 Gens if not 3 are done by first hook. Therefore gen rushing allows for less counterplay
gen rushing isn't even a thing that exists tho, like it's just doing the objective. tunneling is different because you need to go out of your way to do it. You need to make that decision when you're a killer, as a survivor there is no decision of gen rushing, you just do gens cuz that's all you can do. Killers can choose to play by tunneling or not tunneling
-
If you genuinely think Freddy is one of the weakest killers you have no idea how to use him.
-
The term "gen rush" is really stupid in my opinion. "Oh no guys, we're doing the only objective too fast, let's just stand around and not doing anything for a while". Like what do killers expect? If you aren't applying adequate pressure of course survivors are going to do generators, there's nothing else to do, i'm not going to just stand around at a generator because we've been doing them "too fast". It's up to the killer to apply good pressure.
-
Yeah I don't get how people can call him "mostly ok" to deal with when he literally has a 75% kill rate. Whenever you get into a game with him there's only a 25% chance you'll actually get out that game
-
I really just can't justify myself ever using leader when perks like botany knowledge, we'll make it, prove thyself, and lots of other perks like that exist
-
The only time I can really definitively say I saw a hacker was when I went against a clearly aimbotting huntress. She downed everybody extremely quickly and her mouse movement was literally 1-1 with the movements of survivors, like literally 0 delay at all. She also struggled finding hooks nearby her and showed general ineptitude with game sense but could somehow turn around and sense the presence of a survivor and follow them with her mouse perfectly through a wall far away
-
For some reason I really really hate red forest as killer and survivor. As killer it's way too massive and has a lot of hiding spots and as survivor it feels so barren and empty
-
Honestly all rank really means in this game is just how much you play. I'm a pretty bad killer but I'll get to rank 1 pretty easily and never feel like I actually earned it tbh
-
I just think he's kind of a redundant character. Like how could the trapper and pennywise exist on a similar power level. Trapper is literally a man with a machete
-
You could try playing killers with good anti-loop like Freddy, clown, hag, deathslinger, etc. Just be prepared to get a lot of hate playing killers with great anti-loop
-
Yui and Ace
-
That happened to me the other day against a hag. I unhooked and gave another survivor borrowed time and then dead harded right when she swung so it would hit the BT guy and not me, but I got exhausted on the ground and went down and the BT guy took a hit
-
Counting the game itself, cosmetics, and characters probably nearing $200
-
I whole-heartedly agree. I would main plague with a normal human cosmetic
-
It's definitely easy because some moris spill blood on your character and by the end of the animation your custom cosmetics can be covered in blood
-
I think the problem with your idea is that when the hex gets cleansed those 4 pallets will be usable again, so they're really just more delayed than disabled

But then it won't be seen. But in your opinion how is the change?
I honestly don't think it should even be a hex. Even as a normal perk it gets barely any use at all, you can use your hit speed boost to just run to the next tile or window.
-
Sorry man this is still gonna be moved to feedback lol

Was, now basically instead of ruin being gone in like 30 seconds it might be up a minute....before the killer is down to only 2 perks for the duration of the game lol.
Might have been fine if they let the aura read stay so you had one chance to defend your one totem; before the aura read defense was gone all game but w/e....
If it goes away in 1 minute than why do half the killers in the game use it?
-
He's already a weaker killer, making him slower would just make him an F- tier killer
-
The problem I see with Clown that I hope gets addressed in the upcoming rework is that he really just gets overshadowed by other killers who do the same thing but better. Compare Clown to Pyramid Head where PH can just hit any survivor through a wall or a pallet and can basically be unstoppable in some situations. He definitely needs something quality of life to make him on par with the other great killers :)
-
Yup. I main Clown and I feel like he is honestly underrated. He definitely has some shortcomings like not having good mobility but for anti-chase I feel like he is pretty good and consistently 3/4k almost every game with him.
