You will get there one day op. Just keep playing killer.
What's up with these people not reading the post? I literally said I play killer a lot lol.

You may need to play at higher MMR because killers can get 8000 in 3 emblems, 3k, with over 24k points, and still not pip.
"4 hooks to tie" LOL we have to 2k just to tie a 50/50 - 4 hooks you gonna -1 pip
you may need to play more killer
However, survs can do a couple gens, get an unhook, die and pip
Pipping has nothing to do with MMR. earning bloodpoints has nothing to do with your rank.
And if you actually read my post I talk about playing killer lmao.

Aaaaand... yes, this game is ######### brutal by design, not gonna lie.
But you have no reason to care about how MMR changed for opponent, hell, you may even not want to care about MMR for yours, they are intentionally hidden after all.
So there are multiple win conditions? The killer is playing an entirely different game from the survivors? The killer has to play the game trying to get the most kills but survivors are playing selfishly and only getting themselves out.
So if we should be treating the game that way isn't it an advantage to killers because survivors should be prioritizing themselves and not helping their other survivors off the hook and stuff.
-
@fulltonon said:
You are talking as if the fact killers can tie with survivor is what makes you hurt, and I feel that is weird as what survivors has to care from game design perspective is whether they as individual survived or not and not how they did as a team.
Well that's how MMR works, a 3K and above makes you move up but a 2K is a "tie". Even on an individual survivor basis did I really deserve to die because I went down once in the entire game running to the exit gate? If what it takes to escape is not going down once then that is extremely brutal game design.
-
So the hitboxes on windows are very deceptive. You not only have to count the frames of you jumping through the window but you can always lunge at the survivor while they're running to and away from it.
So they're actually vulnerable to a hit a lot longer than you realize because a survivor has to get through the window and then actually run away far enough that a hit would miss.
I think it's a tad dumb that you can hit through windows but not over pallets. It's at least very inconsistent.
-
Ugh it looks like it's going to be the exact same theme as the 4th and 5th anniversaries...

I'm glad you have the privilege of having a lot of free time :)
But you aren't the entire population. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Do you have a full time job or school?
Edit: and yea, you got to 25 in 3 days because this weekend it was double rift shards.
Im 21 with a full time job.
And yes my point is that if it was 2x shards all the time you could complete it in like 1 week.
-
Nah. I got to 25 in 3 days of playing. The rift lasts for like 60 days.

But is that actually overpowered? In order to get a five hit instant down with Legion you need to do five frenzies in a row each of which takes about 10-20 seconds using Never Sleep pills. So that’s one down every 50-100 seconds. That’s not more time efficient than normal play, even taking into account the mend times it’s still kind of like getting a down once per minute at best.
It also injures everybody, gets info on where everybody is, and gets people off of gens to mend and then add the free uncounterable down on top of that
-
Yeah I don't like the idea of map offerings at all. No other game lets one player decide on where everybody is going and how the match will be played out.
-
Are you not able to change your picture anymore or something?
-
If you never drop a pallet she will just catch up and hit you... It's a lose-lose situation at every pallet and there is no counterplay at all with windows she will just throw through them.
-
"I don't have a problem with the perk itself I just think that it should be nuked from oblivion and become quite possibly the least useful perk in the game."
-
My ultimate goal is to one day be a billy god but man is he so hard to play. I should try this because it actually does sound like it could be easier. His sprint is just so sensitive on M&K especially with the faster mouse movements.

So chases take 10 minutes... fun.
It's literally impossible to catch survivors as Nurse without using her power, and she's 4.2m/s. That's why her speed and power are wgat they are. Do you propose giving every killer a teleport to make up for this?
To be fair if you start chasing after somebody when in the range of a chase with Nurse by the time you get bloodlust you've lost almost no distance and then start gaining it lol. It's pretty funny how fast she actually moves, it's hardly any slower than survivors at all.

No that's lies he's overpowered wanna talk about the weakest then let's talk about deathslinger or plague
Alright this is just straight up bait now. I have never ever heard anyone call deathslinger or plague the worst LMAO
-
I know it takes a while to even reach an hour. It's like a 5 min lockout 3 times and then it goes to 15 min and then to 30 min and then finally to 1 hour.
-
Well seeing how Feng is Chinese and not Japanese it wouldn't make any sense.
-
I really want never sleep pills nerfed because they are genuinely insane. You can guarantee 5 hits in the beginning every time.
-
They never turned it off lol.
-
BBQ. Idk why survivors don't want this basekit because it encourages killers to leave the hook and not camp if they have an objective to go to after every hook.

That's not true.
You can do totems, you can rescue or heal other survivors.
The killers only objective is to kill all of the survivors before the gens are repaired. Tunneling is a quick and efficient way of doing that.
So killers have problems with survivors not rescuing their teammates? That sounds like an awesome thing if that happened to me, my games would become a 3v1 very fast. Also doing dull totems is useless and accomplishes absolutely nothing so a survivor stopping gens and doing dull totems is not really a choice. Totems aren't even an objective when cleansing them has no effect.
-
@Seraphor said:

"Gen rushing" is precisely as real as "tunneling" and "camping".
What? The killer isn't supposed to complete their objective as quickly as possible?
Yet killers are (for some reason) expected to "play fair" and not go after the injured survivor who was just unhooked.
The survivor equivalent would be repairing a gen to 50% then leaving it to find another one.
Killers are very much allowed to play the gamer however they want to. Tunneling/camping is very different from gen rushing tho because there is only 1 thing the survivors can do which is work on generators. The killer has a choice to sit in front of the hook, tunnel the person off hook, or just leave and find other people or pressure generators.
Again not saying that killers aren't allowed to do those things it's just very different from gen rushing because they actively decide to camp and tunnel unlike survivors just playing the game normally.
-
The term "gen rushing" is the funniest thing ever to me. Like sorry were we not supposed to do our objective as fast as possible?
It is always a problem of the killer just not pressuring enough. If it takes you forever to down people then of course survivors are going to sit on gens, what else are they going to do? Sit around and twiddle their thumbs? Sorry killer, we should have just sat around and waited for you to down us or pressure our gens.
Every time a killer accuses me of "gen rushing" I just say they were "hook rushing". Sorry killers you can't hook rush us anymore. So dumb.
-
Brutal Strength is bad because it promotes you just running up to every pallet and kicking it instead of playing around it. If you just kick every pallet and then run to the next one every time you will lose.
When you kick a pallet it essentially admits defeat and then you start over at the next one.

The process is much longer and more tedious on console and it requires that you have a PC.
Here's the process.
Find the cheater, record a gameclip, upload the gameclip to Xbox Live, report the cheater in the end game screen,, export the gameclip to a PC, upload it to YouTube, go to BHVR Support, tediously fill it out, attach your uploaded YouTube video and wait 6 months for another ban wave that may or may not do anything.
I mean that's more of a problem with consoles than BHVR. Connecting consoles and PC doing anything is more tedious. Streaming is harder to do on console but that doesn't mean it's Twitch's fault.
-
@Pulsar said:
Yeah, the reporting process on console is pretty poor.
Is it not the exact same as PC? Record your game and then send it in to them?

Because the basement is an outdated mechanic that shouldn't exist in the first place.
-
It's pretty useless. Nobody uses it anymore and if they do it's very easy to counter, just don't drop.
-
I think people believe he's worse because they aren't playing him right. If you are just in shroud out in the open chasing somebody of course he's going to be revealed. You have to play in a more stealthy way like hiding behind corners or under windows and such.
Like... Actually hide.

Then pplz tell me about how i teabagging and Clickinga Good Thing and Survivor should be punished for doing it
Why do u need to teabag and clicking?
Its just showboating. It's a competitive videogame and pretty much means nothing.
I don't teabag unless the killer was being super toxic to me the whole game but when I play killer and the survivors teabag me I just ignore it. If you want you can hit every survivor on the hook and be a general nuisance too.
-
The absolute state of this person's fragile ego.
-
Pretty much everything in the game has infinite vertical distance. Height isn't a big deal in this game so nothing really would have a reason not to have an infinite height.
-
Surprisingly I think Legion is fine. The only thing I think could be toned down is the never sleep pills. It's super dumb and shouldn't be the meme addon.
I have been playing against them the same way I always have except for maybe waiting a bit longer to mend and it's been fine for me. At the end of the day they can still only down you with their basic M1 except they can injure a bit faster now.

Its weird seeing this comment from you, based on previous comments I was sure youd say hes finally fine, but yeah we agree, altho I must say he is an m1 killer with or without shroud so not that much of a thread either way, he went from bad to a little worse, so why even focus on him when other better killers exist.
I still think he's very weak but better. Pretty much every killer that doesn't have any power that negates pallets or windows is bad. Why would you play as a killer who actually has to play around what survivors do when you can just play as somebody who shoots through windows and pallets?

- Fixed an issue that could lead some player's reveal to be ignored completely when multiple survivors are revealing at the same time
- Reveal progress will now regress over a short time when a survivor loses sight of Ghost Face and resume when revealing starts again (Previously, losing sight of Ghost Face for a single frame would cause all reveal progress to be lost)
- Added in differentiation of the sighting zone (the zone in your screen where the target must be to be revealed or stalked) for killers and survivors to better account for the differences between 1st and 3rd person cameras
- Made it possible to reveal Ghost Face / stalk Survivors when they are not in the center of the screen but still take up a large amount of the screen (eg when they are very close to you)
Oh that's perfect it sounds like they fixed all of the bugs and issues that were causing him to not be revealed even though he should have been.

It only "didn't work" because survivors literally did not know how to do it.
Search reddit/youtube for people complaining about ghostface's reveal mechanic and it's all videos of people doing it wrong.
I don't think they changed anything except for making it more determined by the server... So if it's suddenly it's working for everybody now because it's being judged by the server it was never a problem with people doing it wrong, it just didn't work. It never worked for me and I even went into custom games to test and try every possible way and rarely ever worked.
-
The revealing mechanic barely worked for the survivors before and it could be extremely frustrating. However barely anybody played as him and while it's technically more fair it's very sad that now nobody will play as him. I would rather the mechanic be more killer sided but have more people play him personally.

Can you at least explain why you think they're "op"?
I don't want to derail this thread but I'll talk about it for one post.
Hag has 0 counter play. The gameplay loop for her is to just walk up to a pallet, the survivor drops it, place a trap or maybe 2, run around the pallet, and then get a hit. There is nothing you can do about it except for leaving the loop but after you've done that a few times there aren't any more resources to use. She is one of 2 killers that can be in multiple places at once, the other killer being Twins. She can potentially be in 10 places at once if she's set the maximum number of traps. She can camp a hook and pressure gens all at the same time while having an extremely oppressing power.
Artist is a similar case because her birds act like traps except they have infinite range. You can just do the same thing hag does but it also has the benefit of being ranged and can pressure any generator on the map. Some content creators have demonstrated that it can be practically impossible to lose using a certain strategy unless you are going against a tournament squad who knows exactly how to counter it. The Dead Man's Switch + Pain Resonance combo is insane and she can stop any generator for 40 seconds anytime she wants, it's ridiculous.
Either way both of those killers are barely used at all so a nerf would bring only criticism and negative attention. People don't really complain about these killers because they are rarely seen so only the average killer mains (which the forums mostly consist of) would complain and as we know killers are very oppressed and deserve to get 4Ks every single game.

Neither Artist nor Hag is overpowered
Ok lol.
-
Artist is like Hag. Everybody knows she's way overpowered but nobody plays as her and doesn't care so she most likely will never be nerfed aside from maybe a QOL thing here and there.
-
I hope so. It took away god windows and made the killer's job even easier. Now all of the great god loops are gone and turned into terrible windows with a wall next to them.

Okay, to anyone but OP I have to ask:
Is that guy ever posting something worth reading?
Seeing as it's the only times that the killer meta criticism gets posted about they're always worth reading.

Anything death or killing related (in a horror game about killing people). You can't say even just say the word "kill" or "stab".
-
Am I really the only one who actually likes it? I always thought it was awesome.
-
I mean... it's called a meta for a reason. If you want to win why would you actively harm your chances of winning? It's the same reason every survivor uses Dead Hard, every killer tries to win too.
-
It wasn't the 7 days thing. It took me less than that and some people got it without owning the DLC or 1 day after buying it.

They should abuse the legendary cosmetic template more, for RE you have; Ada, Carlos, Ashley, Ethan, Rebecca, Barry, Mikhail, and Brad for potential skins. For Silent Hill you have; Maria, Harry, Angela, Henry, Douglas, and Mary for potential skins. For Hellraiser you have; Butterball, Deepthroat, Doctor Channard, and Female Pinhead for potential skins, and you could probably do a Doctor Loomis skin for Laurie which would be great in my opinion even though the actor has passed away.
I think the problem is that the cosmetics need to make enough money to justify the license. If a licensed skin makes barely any money than it's not financially viable to make a ton of skins.
