In those same games, Leon and Chris are highly trained soldiers capable of taking care of zombies no problem. I don't think quite everything has to translate
Literally in RE6 Leon performs a suplex on like 100 zombies.

I agree with this. In a lot of competitive games like League of Legends there is a surrender button.

NOED shouldn't activate at all. Delete it.

does chat censor the more aggressive word for butthole? I know the forums do
It basically censors any "bad" word you can think of. Including other random words like "michael scott". You also weren't allowed to say "Myers" at one point. You can't even say "killer".
-
He's also like the nicest streamer too.
-
Yeah almost everyone I play with is console, even the killers so it is very very playable right now.

Doesn't matter. He's not, and we all know he's not. He's low A tier.
I mean he's extremely over tuned. Basically every killer dreams of being able to teleport to any gen with a strong anti-loop.
-
Weird, I haven't gotten a single DC yet.
-
I don't think I've gotten a single DC since this has happened so either you're experiencing a crazy phenomenon or you're lying/exaggerating.

I know he's strong, I just didn't get a very good idea of how he usually handles.
How do you have 1200 posts but don't know a lot of those killer's powers yet?
-
Freddy is the strongest killer in the game statistically. He has the highest kill rate.
-
I definitely feel like survivor players are more understanding. A lot of times if the odds are really stacked against the killer like it's a bad map and they're playing a bad killer a lot of survivors will call it out and apologize. I've never been a survivor playing on Wrecker's Yard with a Ruin Spirit and have the Spirit apologize, killers just don't care at all but survivors seem to care more.
-
As a survivor main BBQ is not overpowered.
-
I think there's a double standard by how nobody disagreed with you and said how no playstyle could ever be toxic but you go to any "toxic killer" thread and there will be like 10 replies about his killers and their playstyles can't be toxic.
-
Their only purpose isn't just to down survivors. They also hang around generators to push people off and make it hard to heal. They're just a general nuisance and aren't there to solely kill people.
-
I think it would be way too confusing to just have 2 perks not affect a killer.
It's more of a band-aid for the issue and not a solution.

I think it does.
Eh I think the only thing that could be nerfed is the speed bonus. It doesn't even make sense that it would have it.

You also aren't handed a free win when you play as Stridor Spirit. She also doesn't completely counter chase, she just turns it into a stupid guessing game which sucks.
Point i'm making is people are all for changing spirit, but you can go look at the replies yourself on that thread i made, the second you suggest not even nerfing, just changing spine chill to make it not ######### GF and Myers you get lots of push back. Just insane levels of bias.
It's okay if my side has uncounterrable things, but if your side has them, well that is just unfair no isn't it.
Well firstly I think Stridor Spirit is as close to a free win as you can get in dbd.
Secondly if you rework Spine Chill in that way it's objectively a nerf, you can't get around not calling it a nerf, you're making it not as good.
I'm not even necessarily against reworking it in that way they would just have to be extremely careful about it because any way you look at it, it's a nerf and Spine Chill doesn't deserve a nerf in general.
-
Because they want you to grind.

At least in 2 of 10 of my matches someone disconnects/suicides on the first hit/down.
Well I don't really play as killers that a lot of people hate, I mostly play Demo, but in my survivor games it rarely happens even against Spirits.

So because GF is buggy it's okay to have a perk that shuts down half his kit?
I agree that it really does hurt stealth powers but the point I'm making is that it doesn't completely counter it. You still don't know where they're coming from and GF specifically can crouch and wears dark colors. It's not like you're handed a free win or anything close to it just because you have Spine Chill, it just helps a lot.

People constantly DC/suicide because they don't like the killer. Why wouldn't they suicide once they completed their challenge?
Idk I don't really experience people killing themselves because they don't like the killer. It's mostly when the killer had an amazing start and there was no way for the survivors to come back. I generally don't like the idea of basing the statistics on one-off things like challenges or random DCs, it's more based on consistent things like the terrible matchmaking.
-
I think Pyramid Head should be much higher. His reach addons are literally insane.

Perhaps you 2 should switch roles.
Just saying.
Btw, the stats could be explained by the ridiculous rift challenges. Where people hook bomb or have to hide in the killers shadow for 80 seconds, etc.
That's probably a factor but I feel like most people don't literally kill themselves just for 1 challenge very often, at least I hope they don't.
-
and I can't get up.
-
And I'm tired of getting constantly teamed up with new players who can't even run a Legion for 10 seconds. There's a reason the statistics are way in the killer's favor.

Doesn't work for GF and Myers when you need to look at them with your power. \
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2287979#Comment_2287979
Why is it not comparable?
No, you walk sideways to them until you get close and then you stalk them. It's almost impossible to break Ghost Face out of stealth anyway if you are good enough at leaning. I use Spine Chill in every build and trust me it does not completely counter stealth killers, it just helps.
-
Surge was never any good to begin with so it wouldn't be hard to top it.

The hook state being paused when the Killer is near was attempted
When? When there were like 5 killers in the game?
-
@awustzdn said:
This gets suggested every few days and every few days people like you need to be reminded that BHVR tried it in the past, survivors abused it to the point that it had to be removed.
What are you talking about? When did they try any of the things he mentioned?
-
Yeah the same thing was happening to me. I finally decided to bookmark it so I can actually find it. I wonder if they're trying to get people to stop going to the forums...
-
You do not slow down when you get hit.
-
BBQ is just an amazing perk in general and every killer would use it even without the blood point bonus. The same cannot be said for WGLF.
-
You were also able to see the ranks and ping of the survivors in the pre-game lobby.
@Soulpaw said:
yes, killers have always been able to see survivors prematch. Second, no. They dont to give survivors a surprise on who they are up against and so they cant pick perks/bring items to counter said killer. The game is already survivor sided, this would give survivors a HUGE advantage since killers cant counter pick perks except for something like light born or franklins.
I have to bring this up all the time but the statistics are way killer favored and always have been.

Unfortunately anything that affects your TR affects Killer Instinct; Tinker goes off: no killer instinct. Hit someone while using Hysteria: all survivors disappear from Killer Instinct.
Yeah but killer instinct isn't only based off of terror radius. Pyramid Head's trails activate killer instinct outside of your terror radius.

Yeah, that's a fine size. It's not a fridge, it's not a truck, it's a ball. And any time you get hit like 9 feet to the left or right or around walls and corners is not because of the sphere, it's because the game is registering your hit where you were 1 or 2 seconds ago on your screen.
It's a beach ball.
-
It's very common to constantly see the new killer at launch week. I remember when Blight was released... That got so tiring.
-
If Hag can have 10 traps with no addons, Trapper can have 5.

This hitboxes are fine, any smaller and it just doesn't work.
Almost every bad hit you get from a hatchet is a result of latency, and that's not something that can be fixed by just changing hitbox parameters.
Yeah, "latency".
-
I love going against Bubba mostly because he's really bad. Any loop with a window just destroys him. If he starts camping just don't rescue that guy, it sucks but it's the smartest thing to do.
-
Nah honestly I like it the way we have it now. Let's face it there would be objectively best and worst survivors and I wouldn't want that. I love playing a lot of different survivors and have my mains and it would be terrible if my main suddenly became bad and it would give very little incentive to actually play other survivors if they were objectively worse than others.
Think not enough people play as Adam, Jeff, and Jane? Imagine if their stats were bad.

That is reason i am using Small Game on my most builds. If i out totems early game, we will have chance.
Just imagine that build on Freddy. If you get tinkerer you can just teleport to any generator you want and instantly regress it for free while chasing someone. I think a Freddy with your Blight build is the least fun I can ever have in this game.

That comment was just to tell you that "line of sight" against iron will is one of the most ridiculous forms of "counter" that I ever heard. Just like a killers best counter against healing is hitting them again -.- that's not a counter in my book but logic born from the basic gameplay. A counter is something like the mentioned distortion against aura reading or dropping a key against old Franklin's.
And just fyi I am one of those killers that go for 8 hooks before killing anyone to be "fair" and "fun" for the survivor so i leave freshly unhooked survivor and if they have iron will and hide in alcove or behind stuff, your proposed counter does nothing.
My point was that you are able to counter Iron Will in the same way as you can still injure a healthy person very easily, by just using your skill as a killer and your other senses. Footsteps, scratch marks, and blood is still a thing.
Why I originally said this is because I was making a point about how a killer can basically counter every survivor perk by using their skill whereas a survivor can't counter something like Pop Goes The Weasel with skill alone. The killer will just pop your gen with or without your consent.
-
@Northener1907 said:
I love playing as Blight, he is seriously fun killer and he has fair counterplays.
I am using this build on him: Ruin + Undying + Tinkerer + BBQ
But people keep saying that build is annoying and toxic. What are you thinking?
I personally feel that this is the best build in the entire game on every killer. It's particularly amazing on Blight because he's just so fast.
Not to get vulgar but there's a reason it's known as "the small pp build" or the "basic b**** blight build". It's extremely annoying and half the time you can't do much against it.
Basically every move you can do as a survivor punishes you. Doing a gen will punish you because the blight will get the tinkerer and regress the gen with ruin. Leaving the gen to go unhook someone will also punish you because you left the gen and it's regressing. Finding the totems is punishing because of the same reason. It makes playing survivor a nightmare.

and i am agreeing on some maps have way 2 hard to find spots, but on MOST maps the totems spawn are way to easy to find
Well this turned into a debate about spawns which is not my original point and I agree that there should be less RNG in general, good spawns or bad spawns should just become more consistent which I think you would agree with.

Just to debunk the last statement of any survivor perk, yeah I can totally counter distortion by my skill of not running aura reading (just don't being such overgeneralized and blown up arguments 😑)
Edit: Also sorry but I can't 😂eyes as counter to iron will. That sound just like a good counter against all stealth or undetectable from the killer side.
I mean if you want to get technical about it you can hook survivors 3 times and then Distortion is completely countered.
Also you injured them when they were healthy... right? How could it be possible that you were able to hit somebody that wasn't moaning constantly? I don't think it's possible. It's totally not like a healthy survivor is literally just a survivor with Iron Will and not bleeding.

alright sure, some perks like this have no counter stridor included(I think that's passive)... ill give you that, but its the same way on the other side no I believe there are survivor perks that cant be countered?
and also if you have seen the disgusting spawns of totems you would know the rng usually works against the killer.
I hear that a lot but in my experience as a survivor and killer I don't agree with it. The spawns may not be the greatest but ruin + undying has such a huge use rate for a reason. Just in general I do wayyy better in my games when I use ruin + undying VS. the games where I use no/poor regression perks like surge. Sure the spawns can be bad but it's always worth it to use ruin (albeit with something else like undying or pop). If the spawns really were that bad nobody would use ruin and everybody would think it would be terrible.
-
@Aneurysm said:
Ew no. If you had teammates who couldn't or wouldn't do gens with ruin up and it was in a good spot the killer could go on 4 minute chases and still win anyway. And now it'd be paired with undying as well. And pop, which would synergise with it again.
Yes, Pop working with it would be the biggest drawback for sure.
