Oh wow! So I am complaining? This place is strange. Teabag someone and you're toxic, point out how easy they make it for killers to try and win, you're complaining.Tsulan said:

I like to look at it like this, when I am on top of the scoreboard with my escape icon, then I see the killer had that setup, I then wonder if my escape makes me a noob or a pro.
I am beginning to wonder if this forum is only visited by drama queens -

Sorry, wannabe God like killers can't be chasing and eating pallets. They need to know where you are at every action, then have 2 massive crutches at the end. As only God's need more time to kill.thesuicidefox said:BW and BM are for noob killers now LOL.
A better deal is Ruin, NOED, Spirit Fury, Enduring. Camp the first guy you find, they will gen rush. Chances are they don't get 5 gens before the guy dies because of Ruin. Just keep camping anyone you catch. Use NOED to clean up. SF/Enduring so you can just literally 4head your way through pallets and not have any skill in a chase.

Basically, they have all the perks that would normally be used in a solo match up, without using a perk slot. There is absolutely no way I would use my normal SWF setup in a solo match and vise versa.I think the term, "cheating" is the wrong word to use when it comes to SWF. Maybe people should associate the term, "unfair" instead. The reason I say this is because SWF have several perk abilities without using the actual perks. For example, they have Bond, Premonition, Spine Chill, Kindred, Window of Opportunity, Modified Boiled Over (body blocking), etc. Also the added fact that they can strategize loadout builds pre-game, know how many totems have been destroyed or if a Hex is in play without the game telling you, SWF can communicate through voice (no emotes) at an unlimited range throughout the map. It's these types of advantages that make people petition against SWF because it literally feels like a game cheat inside of a multiplayer game. I would like to reiterate that SWF tactics are legal (as stated by the devs) but it doesn't change the fact that it cheapens the co-op survival horror aspect of the game by taking away the fear of the unknown, the RNG aspect of the game, etc.
I only use tools and med kits in an swf squad, as it has much less chance of being wasted during a match (I am not gonna die on first hook and lose my purple #########, when I heal someone they're not going to sit the rest of the match out)
In SWF, I know I will get rescued efficiently from the hook, get healed/mended when I need, will have players distracting the killer when I get caught or an in a chase. All this is extremely powerful as a survivor.
When I compare that to a solo match up, most of the swf advantages disappear. I now have to run more team based perks, small game, kindred and premonition being my favourites, then self care as i need to heal as soon as I escape a killers terror radius.
I am rank 1 survivor (killer too) the kinds of players I swf with, literally bully killers. Torches, jukes, looping, body blocking, 360s for fun, distractions, leading the killer to useless parts of the map etc. When the squad is together, the killer might get a hook or 2, but no kills! The only reason, is because the mix of good players + communication = killer is now the hunted.
Something about SWF itself needs addressing. The Devs need to acknowledge just how many perks, being in an SWF squad actually gives survivors and balance towards killer gaining extra perk slots (literally, SWF players go into a match with 10 perks at least)
-
The OP was one kind of funny, but seriously, you have a problem with survivors evading those killer swings? (They need to reward BP for that, it's a hard skill to get the timing right on) Tea bagging is nothing lol. DS is annoying, but only a one use perk. Survivors mostly body block to help cover a team mate that's usually being tunnelled. Blinds at a pallet are legit, it gives best survivors a better chance to increase distance from the killer or make the killer chase someone else.pemberley said:I play with my friends a lot but we actually play. We’re not trying to deliberately make the killer miserable, we just want to play together. Which is how it should be. If they outright took swf away, I think it would be bad for the ps4 where a lot of us play with friends and solo equally.
What is NOT okay is the groups that do try to make the killer miserable. Body blocking. Dsing. Blinds at the pallet. Wantonly tea bagging. 360ing. REFUSING TO LEAVE THE MAP AFTER THE GAME IS OVER AND GATES ARE OPENED. etc. And that needs to be resolved.
-
I definitely agree with the latter

I still wait for the day that I can post the video of a nurse that bothers me or gets the 4k that happens in most other matches against killers.
The solution is come to the dark side and play pc, you'll get scared and go back to console pretty quickly although there's some potato Nurses on pc as well. But generally Nurses at red ranks will get a hook within the 1st 30 seconds or so.
Now if you really want to get scared back to console play against an Omega blink nurse and or one that knows how to play her and you'll be lucky to have the match last more than 2 minutes.
Maybe pc survivors are just worse players than I am? As much as I would love to see these Uber nurses and show them up too, I don't think it's worth the £2000 investment into a decent pc. Thanks for the idea though.

PC survivors are WAY better than console survivors. PC Nurses are also WAY better than console Nurses.
If you want a video, here is a good one that shows two matches -- the same killer player against the same team twice -- first time with Wraith and second time with Nurse. Really all you have to do is search for Nurse games on YouTube and you'll find a ton.
This video does not prove the nurse is OP, some dude with revenge in his mind, pulled out his favourite killer to deal with some survivors that made him pay for his rather sloppy play as the wraith. It's not the match was under 5 mins, either of them, do this also doesn't count as proof of survivors being better than console survivors.
As for searching YouTube for nurse videos, are you serious? Theyre not going to show the games where they get mugged off by survivors lol. Besides, you're the one that insists nurse are OP. This is either because you can't handle the nurse as a survivor or you're just drinking the OP nurse KOOL-AID. You post a video of your experience with the nurse, not some random YouTuber that obviously has sweaty play issues. -

At this rate, even if we give her 40 min match, she still won't be able to get a kill.
Lol that tickled me! But this is typical of nurses that I come across. The reasons I post these, are becauseI constantly hear how nurse is OP, but I have seen no evidence of it beyond a skilled player using her. OP is not equal to great play, OP is something that has clear advantage without disadvantage (B&C for example)
I am also doing what I can to help discourage other players from hearing the nurses scream, then DC. This has happened a few times before I joined the forum (not that it was an issue when they did)
When I am here and survivors complain about nurse being OP, I try to remember a time when the nurse had ever given me trouble (after learning how to play of course) The only thing I can agree about the nurse, is survivors have to play differently against her, then other killers. For me, survivors that can't survive v nurse, are survivors that rely too much on line of sight blockers, looping and pallets.
I think it proves that gens can be done astoundingly quickly. Any good survivor can loop a killer around the whole map in the time it takes to finish generators, something about gens needs to change. -
I play both sides, it's quite apparent that generally and across the spectrum of average play, the game is definitely sided towards survivors. Between SWF and perks/add-ons that literally give survivors another chance to survive v 1 killer can instantly kill you (once a timely precondition is met) kinda proves it.
-
Camping is a very basic strategy that works against very basic survivors. Survivors need to get gens done, as it will be the only way to discourage the killer.vVNootnootVv said:Hello, people of the fog,
Everyone hate campers and want to make an end to it. Right now, there is a system that campers gets punished (just a little bit) if they stand too close to the hook. Personally, I only camp when I am frustrated (for example when I die because of other campers). The thing is that campers don't care AT ALL about ranks/pips/scores. With this, I say that the new punishment system doesn't work properly. Campers only want to kill people (to get that satisfying feeling of someone being mad).
I think I have the answer to make people stop camping; I think that if the killer stands too close to the hook, the sacrifice goes slower. The closer you are, the slower it goes (unless you are 16+ meters away OR if another survivor is close to the hook).
I know what you are thinking: "OK, but the killer can see how fast the sacrifice goes and he will know if another survivor is close". I think the killers shouldn't be allowed to see when the sacrifice goes into the 2nd/3rd state. However, I do think killers should be able to see (also from healthy survivors) in which state they are/they'll be if they get hooked.
Let me please know what you think of this idea. I just really want to make an end to camping.
However, I do think camping needs to be discouraged. I am for timer stoppers, BP reduction, anything that punishes the killer for staying at the hook. I also agree, that a killer needs to get some kind of in game boost for a hook (like instant bloodlust level per hook made for next chase) -
I am a terrible survivor lol, my videos prove this! In my head, it helps force the nurse to blink, so I can dodge.Vietfox said:I don't understand, why you drop the pallet when playing against the nurse? -

I don't camp and I don't use B&C.
There's also other perks to let you know where the most pressure is. Discordance, for instance, and they've finally buffed surveillance. BBQ & C is really best for BP and can show where a survivor might be as they may have moved before you go over to them.

And I guess you should consider yourself lucky, usually when I go against nurse they know their blinks like the back of their hand, not even speaking about the add-ons they use.
Players that know their characters like the back of their hand, are what make characters and perks appear OP. Maybe I am lucky to have not met a decent nurse yet. But so far, it's 2 for 2 (: -

Loop around a "deadzone" I just showed 2 in that video. I agree, looping is mostly a bad idea v nurse outside of deadzone. For the same reason you won't mention a certain build, I won't mention other ways to make the nurse look like the subordinate hospital staff member she is (;
-
The nurse is not OP. Myers is OP, he can insta kill a full health player that hasn't even been hooked. You guys need to adapt your play style v nurse, big clue is, don't keep running away or relying on walls. If survivors consistently struggle against a killer, then you're doing something wrong! IMO, the Dr is far more OP than nurse, he can track you all over the map without being near you and mess up your skill checks.
As for DC, it needs punishing. It's completely undesirable to everyone that plays, other than the minority of players that do it. -
Again, I don't find her anymore difficult than any other killer and as you can see from that video, I am hardly a great survivor myself. I will admit, I have to play differently, but so I should v a killer that can float through most objects. I think, all the OP nurse hype, is from survivors that can only drop pallets, loop (I am aware I looped this player) and window jump.
-
I don't get to play with the nurse often, but I don't consider her anymore difficult than any other killer. She has some very clear weaknesses!dannyfrog87 said:console shes easy to dodge. not to mention the nurse has a ton of crap she cant blink through dead zones. even on pc which hinders her. and yeah due to the new perk changes toolboxes etc enabling survivors to do gens quicker. the games become a joke more survivor favoured plus low console fps its even worse for killers id say lol. killers need to be feared but the devs are making this game more of a clown fest honestly. shes only op if in the hands of a good player. other than that no. too many things go against her.
As for the gens, 2 of them got done quickly, even with ruin active. Yes, I do sometimes think that the Devs side with the survivors too much, as there's no way it's balanced to have games end in under 5 minutes (honestly, what is the likelyhood of a killer ending a game within 5 mins?), when only 3 players are doing gens without boxes and ruin. -
So really, it's more about the skill of the plsyer than the characterVietfox said:She is OP indeed, that was just a bad player playing as nurse on console. To master her on console is not easy. -
This comment here is of much more value than the OP. I don't use NOED, it's a crutch for awful killers that get looped all game, if even after having all survivors exposed, you still need perk help, then "git gud"I cleanse most totems I come across but consider this Mr. Genius Man. Maybe just maybe it's pretty difficult to find all 5 totems in a single match as 1 survivor. You do not know how many have been cleansed either unless you're in full SWF and generally looking and cleansing totems is a huge waste of valuable time. Even with SG unless you're playing SWF you will never know if there's still 1 left and you are literally forced to run across the map with your little perk, trying to make sure there's none left.
As a survivor, I run SG. I do this, because of ruin, huntress lullaby, NOED(although, NOED isn't that much of a threat anyway) hag and trappers traps, it's my experience that I will need to deal with at least one of these things a match. I completely agree that SG isn't as useful as a perk as it could be. Absolutely yes there needs to be some way know how many totems are left, there needs to be different notifications for totems, traps, hex totems, there certainly needs to be a better way of it triggering beyond a one time notification then a cooldown (I would much prefer it to work similar to spine chill) -
Camping is a very noobish strategy, used by noobs because it only works against noobs. If a killer is wasting 2minutes (plus chase, find hook, put on hook) while leaving 3 players absolutely unattended to do gens, which should result in 3 gens bring done, then he has aggressively and selfishly fornicated his game. He gets crappy BP, doesn't pip and risks over half of the survivor objectives being completed, just for one kill. I am not defending camping, As a killer and survivor player, i see it as a nonsense way of playing, yes as a survivor it bothers me more, but, I got caught (if there's any survivor objective outside of gens and totems, then not getting caught is definitely another) the only way I have of maybe getting rescued, outside of swf, is staying on the hook long enough to watch the gens go ping, in the hope he goes looking for others.ThatOneGuy said:why do u camp and then laugh at ppl when they get toxic towards you. That in itself is being more toxic than the ones messaging you because u instigated all of it. Something needs to be done about camping it’s a no skill cheap tactic for killers who don’t know how to actually win chases or kill anyone -
There's definitely a display bug when players escape through the hatch. So it's hard to tell what's gone on here.
-
2 gens = hatch appears. Key opens the hatch.
-
At higher ranks, killers need to slow the game down, ruin, overcharge, thanatopia, pop goes the weasel to name a few perks. This does go to show that at average and competent play (I think no perk nurse being used by a skilled player is above average and competent) survivors can end a game in a few minutes. As I've stated in many threads before, survivors need other objectives
-
*perks
-
Let me just get this straight. Are you saying there's a clear advantage to players that can work together, share responsibilities, tailor peris and communicate?
2 killers v 4 survivors, even against the best swf teams, would be plain unfair to survivors. There would have to be large changes to objectives, map size, survivor group size (it would need to be at least 6 survivors) As a game mode for hardened survivors, maybe above a certain devotion level, it could be an interesting way to bring extra challenge and bragging rights to players .I hope they look at this idea and give it some serious thought -
Camping is a strategy for noobs v noobs. Camping is mostly ineffective at higher ranks and SWF. End of the day, if you're going to waste 2 minutes not applying pressure to gens, then 3-4 gens are gone. You gain less bloodpoints than you could (I personally hate it when a survivor outscores me, although it's rare) As a high rank killer, my standards of victory are 4dc at best (love swf DC) and whoever didn't make the hatch at worst. Anything else is just substandard and noobish.
When I play survivor, as I am a high rank survivor too, I wish for a camping killer, makes my game easier. So thanks for the easy games (:
