  • 95 or something like this. Last months I didn't really play a lot.

  • The only nerf this perk should get: at the beginning of the match, survivors line up in front of killer and make a low bowing for spending perk slot on nothing instead of slowing down the game. Then everyone returns to their positions.

  • As probably the only one real Boon user here, Boons are in a completely fine spot. Dark Theory and Illumination could see a buff, other than that definately will be overkill to already strong perks.

  • I just dropped playing him, same as Hag, he is killer from a different DBD era, which doesn't belong at current game at all. He is too slow at everything, has way too many counterplay from survivors and nothing to help in chase at all.

He is fun sometimes against potatoes, but he is hella unbearable to play as against half decent players. You marked survivor on 75% and be revealed you (through wall of course)? Oh go on another side of the map with 20 sec cd on your power I guess, or try to chase him anyway.

Many people love his gameplay, so I don't think he should be completely reworked. But amount of buffs he should receive to be viable and not clunky killer is catastrophic.

  • I said it on his PTB and I've only become more confident since then about how useless they are.

  • Both. For example, if you want to decrease amount of tunneling, give killers a reason to not and make anti-tunnel perks stronger. So it's still possible strategy, but way more risky and on another hand they will have a reason to play different way, like survivors want.
Everything should be balanced this way.

  • I dream of Fire Up buff for 4 years.

This and on survivor side, it'd be nice to get points for using perks and items more too, since they are power adjacent. I feel a lot of actions should have more BP's calculated better.

All survivors points can be easily increased tbh. 20k points in a match where I did literally everything feels unfair, when I get 35k+ points on the similiar match as killer.

  • Better MMR, where I won't matched against/with comp team in first match and then against/with 200 hours babys right in the next match.
Maybe some lessons in game, which introduces player more deeply to the game and its mechanics? Because average level of playerbase is really low and difference between average and good players is a big problem imo.

  • Even as Blight enjoyer, I don't think I will play a lot killer in this 2v8 iteration. They literally said that they overbuff survivors to make queues more bearable, so I will take it. I hate going against Spirit, but I guess I will see only few really good in this mode with no mmr, so who cares.

    • reading this forum I understood that Dracula was one of the worst "new" killers. I actually think it's really cool, he's not the new Billy/nurse, but he's very strong. I'm starting to believe the reviews on this forum aren't very accurate. Maybe it would be better to specify how many hours of gameplay you have before doing a review/opinion.

Majority of the people here, from what I've read, placed him in high B tier / low A tier, but it was before last buff. Last buff really made him really strong A tier killer and raised his skill cap higher. I actually didn't plan to play him a lot, but this buff definately changed it.

  • People who ask random addons on killers obviously don't even plan to play killer on Chaos Shuffle. There are so many addons which simply ruin your power almost on every killer, that no killer player in their right mind would suggest this.

  • I wonder how many survivors don't realize

Most survivors don't understand what game they are playing at, dialogue about resources is too far away from this point.
Let's hope half of player base in the next 5 years will start understand what I want from them, when I give them my medkit, maybe then we can start to explain them that this game is about buying time.

  • I wonder if they think it's too late to punish people harder for throwing matches, because they obviously spoiled community too much and for too long to start asking just play game they press "ready" button for.

  • Yeah, not every game, of course, but this time I see a lot more tunneling. And I have no rights to blame them, most of the time after first hook they have 2-3 gens left and no slowdown at all. Not to tunnel is just throwing at this point.

Map offering should be deleted, killers should have some slowdown basekit and survivors some weaker DS basekit and it will perfect modifier for me.

  • I will never forget match on Gideon, where I spawned right in the corner of the map in front of Hex, cleanse it instantly and killer just DC'd. I don't blame him, Hexes are literally casino: 95% you waste a perk slot for nothing, 4% you will have okish value and 1% it will be worthy a perk slot.

    1. Posts statistic to support argument.
    2. Someone points out statistic supports the opposite position.
    3. Statistic is now "useless"

    Lol

I'm sorry you can't see difference between average chase time and average chase time PER MATCH and what kind of things it points to.

  • Considering there are 3-4 Syringes and BNP + map offering almost every game, with no slowdown, I wonder what else killer should do, if he wants to win, bc no matter how short your chases are, you will have 3-5 chases at best, if survivors aren't allergic to gens.

I also see a significantly more tunneling this time, I will take anti-tunnel measures, if we remove ultra-rare addons on survivors (Syringe should be deleted from the game honestly) and give to killer at least some sort of slowdown in this mode.

Yeah the statistic is useless as it doesn’t tell you how much of it is made up of Megs who get hit and run into a dead zone going down in 10 seconds, which offsets those who know to run to the ridiculous main buildings or pseudo infinites a lot of maps have.

It also doesn’t factor in the time it takes to walk across the massive maps, finding someone, picking up and walking to hook, walking to a gen to kick etc. It’s not like chases a run back to back with no downtime between, and how there’s multiple survivors on gens so gen time isn’t 1:1 with time to chase/hook 1 person etc.

Dude, have some respect. Survivors read posts too, you can hurt their delicate mental organization. 1 minute is not even 1 generator, killers are op, looping doesn't exist, period. Save your math for exact sciences, оk?

I don’t even have to loop much (I’m bad at it). I just let go of the gen and run when I see the killer coming towards me in the distance. It’s a 50/50 if they kick the gen or come for me and then I just go around the same pallet two times (I know we can juice it for three but I’m a coward) and then I use Lithe to gain more distance and breaks LoS and Bush away or waste more of their time at another pallet. Usually 2 gens are done by the time they down me if it’s at the start of the match and my teammates aren’t allergic to gens.

I think some people just won’t be happy until the map spawns three shacks that have two windows.

Bruh, this. That's why I always use Balanced. Prerun + exhaustion = 30-50 seconds of addition time to every chase against every killer without dash. Out of nowhere. And they asking why everyone playing strongest killers and chases are short. Imagine DBD world, where every Sable player understand simpliest basis of the game, it could be absolutely another game.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3806845#Comment_3806845

No it's not. That statistic was that each player is chased for 1 mintute throughout the ENTIRE MATCH. Please we have enough misinformation on here. So if you are chased 3 times one for each state that would be 20 seconds.

    @AmpersandUnderscore said:

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3806845#Comment_3806845

Average chase time per match, not average chase time per chase.

So a survivor who is killed in 3 hook stages is getting an average of about 20 seconds of chase before being downed.

And 1 minute of chase time per match isn't even one gen.

You are right, my bad, didn't pay enough attention to it.
Then it's another useless statistic from BHVR, lol. Good to know that Distortion Sable having 0 seconds of chase per match and me with 2 minutes of chase per match both have 1 minute on average.

  • Average chase in this game is above 1 min, wdym? If you can't chase 5 gens anymore, it doesn't mean there is no looping.

maybe because your stacking so many healing perks that it becomes non-existent. that's kinda trade mark of stacking perks. some people debate whether stacking perk is good design and have often ask bvhr many times to create perk restriction or point systems or all kind of ideas to prevent stacking 4 gen defence perks, 4 gen-boosting perks, 4 anti-tunnel/exhaustion type perks, etc. etc.

the short answer is they nerf med-kit and then nerfed mangled to be almost irrelevant effect because they deemed mangled too strong.

Botany alone is enough to neutralize and still provide value through Mangled. Killers perks should provide ~4 times more value than survivors ones, but somehow perk which provide less value than almost any perk in this category on other side is getting nerf. And Botany isn't even strongest healing perk.

We either nerf healing, or bring in line all perks in this category.

And obviously stacking something on both sides always will be a thing, synergy is always good design, it make game more fun and flexible, just some synergies need attention sometimes.

  • I was against 24 seconds healing then, but nowdays I think healing 100% should be 20 sec by default, ESPECIALLY after hook stage became 70 sec. I run Botany + Emphatic connection a lot now, sometimes with CoH, and healing literally doesn't exist, it's almost instant.

In swf we built some insane builds with healing and killers dc'ed and called us cheaters when saw us healing for ~5 seconds whole match. Hit and run killers have z e r o chances against this, hits means nothing.

But most survivors don't understand how strong healing perks are, there were no healing perks in top-15 even when Sloppy wasn't useless garbage, so I still don't understand why it was nerfed to begin with.

  • Windows honestly is last thing I consider op. It won't help to survivor who can't loop do it properly anyway. But slight range nerf is welcome, because good survivors can chain loop really well with it.

Otherwise, leave this noob friendly perk alone already, c'mon.

  • Considering 9/10 teammates don't understand what I want from them, when I give them my medkit, and 9/10 survivors on this forum keep writing "there is no difference between medkits", there is no hope that most survivors will ever begin to understand what they are playing at.

  • Ask it after next patch again, when 2 other killer will be pretty much dead.

  • Teamwork perks are also nothing for soloq, but omega buff to swf. Can't wait running 112% with friend without scratch marks with no downsides at all lmao.

  • Perk literally asks you to make hook and go pressure map to get value from. Who cares I guess. Killers perks variety at its lowest, but let's make it even worse with every single patch while buffing swf with no stop.

Why would they give the Twins a compensatory buff? They were just buffed and became extremely strong. They slug much easier than before and that’s led them to be (rightfully) nerfed again. Blame killer mains.

Keep Victor? Naaah, remove Victor instantly, little Fengus, I know you are afraid bc of no TR.
Group up and healing? Naaah, let's just keep sitting on gens injured like we used too and let Victor to slug whole team one by one, because we are lazy to learn counterplay.

I know, I know, killers get nerfs because of survivors know nothing but how m1 on gen isn't something new, we all used to it.
Since 7.7.0 Twins were my most playable killer and if survivors understand how to deal with them, then they are M1 killer with no power 70% of the match and insane amount of counterplay, especially in team. And if some QoL changes with massive nerf to kicked Victor is something you consider a big buff, then you didn't know how to play against them to begin with, because strength wise they are right where they were before. I don't know since when slug is easier too, but if you say so.
I blame you, killer mains. Don't know what for, but Ayodam tells me so. How dare you play Twins, stinky killer mains.

  • BHVR only wants everyone play SWF. Every single patch we buff SWF further and further and I'll take it, if they want it. Clearly already strongest players in the game need it.

I’ve gotten to the point where I’m so overly paranoid about trying new play styles because any time I have they’ve gotten nerfed LOL (my timing is somehow always bad in this game)
im gonna go back to vanity mirror myers with stealth build and pig meme builds

Absolutely the same situation. Like they need to nerf/change Artist and Blight to me throw killer role entirely, because Vecna seems like will be nerfed soon and I'm afraid to waste time on him. I started to play as survivor main back in the day, I will end up like survivor main seems like.

  • 20 sec cooldown on crushed Victor without any buffs + 0,5 to crush him. Twins are dead lol. I'm done with learning killers in this game.

  • Sure, if gen will be ~150 sec, all TR will be halved and you agree with 20-30 min games. DBD isn't hide-and-seek, it's chase game with stealth elements.

my intention to win at all costs

    That's why...

I am not much better, but when you try to win every game, you will play against survivors with same mindset sooner or later.

It could be understandable if I got them on my main killers

There is limit how much lower you can get compare to highest MMR killer.

Not a good thing if you want to learn new killer tho...

How the hell I keep getting all these lobbies, playing killers 1-2 times in week in pretty chill way

Well, there is MMR cap. So even if streamer has several thousands higher MMR, if you have enough yourself, then your chances are exactly same.

Otherwise depends on region and time when you play.

"my intention to win at all costs HAS WEAKENED" and I wrote further that I play pretty chill. I play for chases for last 1-2 years and usually don't sweat my butt to win, at least not from the start of the game.Yeah, mmr cap should be increased. What's the point of it, if I get newbies in one match and then comp players literally in the next one. Same on survivors. How do I keep getting teammates, who can't hit 3 skillcheks in a row?
But I'm talking not about that. I'm talking about how often streamers get really good survivors in comparison with me, player who don't play that much and don't win that much. Maybe really region thing.

  • @GolbezGarlandGabrant said:

It's been said that stats don't change much so no matter the date range Vecna's killrate is likely going to be the same.

On NL it become 7% lower from first weeks to now. With no exception every killer had way higher kill rate in first month, than on average now. Regardless of if stats change anything or not, what's the point to publish it, if it reflects literally nothing?

  • To put it mildly, 98% of Sables I've ever seen are god awful at the game. They kill themselves on hook in every second match. It's nothing personal, people just judge by the majority.

  • Another health state, especially in chase, should never be easy to achieve or/and free. Timer should go from 60 to 45, that's all. Extra chest is also nice addition, I think.

  • It can stay useless. Perk like this shouldn't exist in first place.

  • Probably Clown and Dredge. Both are fun killers to play and both have amazing aesthetic, but really weak even after buffs. One match on map without lockers and I don't play Dredge for weeks, because of how exhausted you with this one match. One match against predrop swf as Clown and you understand that Clown is only pub stomper.

This! When I play survivor, sure I get as frustrated at being tunneled at 4 gens as the next person, but being a killer main I can also see what the killer is seeing: every generator that he passed while pursuing me was at least at 70%, so its not 4 gens, its "basically 2 gens left, while I have only one hook to my name".

And at this point there has been no opportunity to eliminate any pallets, so it isn't viable to show mercy to that one guy on deathhook and go after someone else, at this point in the game that would mean throwing. Sure, some players are okay with that, but not everyone is. I handed quite a good amount of games to survivors who actually didn't deserve it and were I could have easily sealed the deal. And more often then not (really, WAY WAY WAY more often then not) I got paid back for that with a "ggeeeeeez hahaha so easy" and t-bagging and BMing and twerking at the exit gates.

And now the +10s close off yet another venue of applying and maintaining pressure and giving survivors YET another one to have their cake and eat it, too, finishing their gens and still save their teammate. Killer might not feel as abyssmal as it did pre 6.1, but not both roles feel at their wits end and having to resort to unfun tactics. This games MMR breed and burned every ounce of playfulness out of the game, and all thats left is a mean, lean, efficient killing/gen-popping machine.

Can't agree more. I don't tunnel hard from the start, most of the time I will tunnel if survivors give it to me and I feel like I need to. Otherwise, I stopped play to win and just enjoy chases. But holy, amount of games where I had very solid games on weak killers with 8-9 hooks and 0-1 kills is stupid. All I got for it usually is "gg ez".

One week ago I had match against gigachad Wesker where he had 8 hooks and 0 kills. I just came to him to give him a kill, because he absolutely deserved it, and he just didn't bother about it. You know what I saw when back to exit gates? "Watch me leave" show with teabags.

I have no empathy for most survivors being tunneled, because they simply not even don't respect when killer play fair throw the game for no reason as they want, but literally take it as a weakness. Let's have fun, but obviously we won't care about yours.

  • He is not awful, but it's hard to call him good at least at something. He is mid at best at everything he can and I don't find him fun to play unlike Vecna. Mid B maybe.

  • It's about half a year since they fixed it on 21:9 monitors and I started to see full Nemesis. Hope you will see it one day too.

I run a similar build. The combination of Eyes and Troubleshooter is already so good on many loops. It is so funny to have wallhacks on the killer and deny every mindgame they try. It's so crazy.

Yeah, Troubleshooter is another perk most of survivors call bad, because their level of a good perk is somewhere between old DH and old CoH. But it's insanely useful and denies any mindgames in loop, especially against killer you need to predrop.
Also it's funny how survivors crying about "too much aura perks" on killer side, when you as survivor can see killer almost whole match and it's WAY more stronger, and killer has zero counterplay to it. And I didn't even start to tell about absolutely beyond broken Key + Blood Amber, which should be nerfed decade ago.
