The lullaby is not directional nor is it a terror radius - it just lets survivor know she is within 40 meters...somewhere. It often helps her confuse survivors.
-
A lot of these don't seem like voluntary disconnects. Had several games in a row where one or more got disconnected shortly after start. Was so bad I hung it up for the night, came back today and things are normal, not one dc.

I disagree. Being able to 99 the exit gate is no different than when survivors could originally do that with hooks. It was a completely broken and unfair advantage given to the survivors. Such an exploit prevented killers from being able to hook the survivors. Survivors shouldn't be able to disable a hook with a single tap of a button, nor should they be able to open up the exit gate with a single tap of a button.
Now I will say there's nothing wrong with choosing to 99 the gate as I feel that should still stand as a valuable tactic, BUT if you choose not to open it, then the gate should regress. And telling the Killer that the only way around that is to abandon their objective and open the gate themselves isn't the answer.
Disagree all you want but the difference is the killer and go ahead and just open the gate themselves. She is right about EGC never meant to pressure - it was to prevent standoffs, something many self professed 'killer mains' don't get and think it is a tool to net them more kills at the end game when they pretty much lost already when all the gens got done.
-
Choices are to turn it off and wait longer for lobbies - or keep it on and play with bots.
Worse part is you cannot even communicate with them in chat.
-
EGC is just a tool to keep a game from going into stalemate like over the hatch, or survivors holding a game hostage.
Is is not there to help you win matches - though that certainly can happen.
-
You have to go to their official website, not the forums, then under help. support.deadbydaylight.com
They will probably ask you to reload the game, verify files on steam, etc. if you already done that then they'll ask for your cloud ID under settings (scroll down to end). If you want to get ahead of that.
-
Oh god his mori...
-
Had that happen last rift with a Nea head - opened a ticket with them and they took care of it pretty fast.
-
Don't waste a wish on these forums.
-
Yeah - probably would make a good 'insert caption here', but it is creepy as hell in game.
-
Yes - it was like this before a few updates ago, then we got large Icons on the UI for 1440, now with this update we are back to small.
1) Devs make up your minds on the icon size.
2) Better yet let us make up our minds by giving us a choice between large and small.

Someone who actually gets it. Thank you. Bad Survivors too busy crab raving that they can rush uncages without thought now.
They had to rush uncages without thought before anyway to beat your tunneling.
-
It's also locked and cannot be mixed with other cosmetics.
-
I don't like this trend. Since most of the fun is doing mashups... I won't buy this.
-
They also make the game far more interesting than it would ordinarily be.
So no, I probably would not play.
-
It would make certain survivors meta - and the rest dodged by other survivors.
-
I'll keep my self-care and botany, since you are the boss of no one, and I will keep enjoying my medkits that last forever and heal myself way faster than any survivor could heal me.
-
Spirit is by far least favorite - just because every chase is an annoying guessing game. Plague is a distant second - no healing, so you are left with just rushing gens.
Favorites - Myers, of course, and Deathslinger.
-
Cause most other perks downright suck.
-
I want devil horns now.

This, the game is flawed at its core if tunneling is going to be seen as an issue.
Yeah, it wouldn't be an issue if tunneling wasn't so effectively strong.
-
I read this as 'It was refreshing to be able to freely tunnel anyone and everyone..."
-
Avoid getting torment at all costs - easier said than done due to getting tormented by invisible trenches or trenches that decay and hit you anyway before they go. I've completed half a gen next to a trench without issue, then suddenly when it fully decayed - bam, hit with torment.
So avoid torment trails even if it means going down. It just shuts down way too many perks - Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, We'll Make It, Adrenaline, Deliverance, etc.
With loops you can dodge his aoe, but you'll probably have to throw the pallet early. Some like to dig a trench right at the pallet...so I throw it and make him break it, then just get distance. Probably your best bet if you cannot break line of sight just get distance anyway you can.
-
So even though the cage is a hook state it is really not treating it as being on a hook.
Yeah especially with Adrenaline it clearly states 'Adrenaline is on hold if you are disabled when it triggers and will activate upon being freed.'
So I guess a cage is not counted as 'disabled'. Well then next time I am caged I'll just float myself over to the exit...oh wait.
Severe miss on BHVR part.

Probably because unbreakable is set by default so its that way before you even load into the map, soul guard however is likely to load last because it has to check for the hex totem requirements. that would be my guess, i dont really see the need to run both though as unbreakable is strong enough and there are alot of better perks id rather run over the small chance ill get slugged with a hex up
A reason to run both is when a killer slugs you, then thinks you have DS and just waits on top of you for the timer to expire.
-
I just had a game where Soul Guard prevented Unbreakable from working. (PC)

If you don't like how other people play, then find a four man SWF to exclusively play with. When you queued up for solo, you queued up to play with randos, for better or for worse.
Yeah I did and while I prefer they don't suicide - that's their right if they do. So your point looks useless here. It is also my right to just dodge people who do suicide all the time. But purposely doing the thing you dislike just to protest it - is stupid.

I'm rank 1 in both but good job assuming. I think it ruins games in both sides and needs to be fixed. But every thread people argue that they should be able to leave so I am going to show them what it means when it happens every game.
They should be able to leave - I'll not play a GAME that holds you hostage against your will.
Edit - if you don't like suicides, go find a four man SWF to exclusively play with.

Thanks for saying why the game is trash, will definitely help BHVR fix why its bad in certain ways
Well healthy critique, bug reports, and various ideas on these forums doesn't seem to help either.

I am calling for people who hate hook suicide people who immediately do it as soon as they hooked to do something about this. in the same vein as the Tunnel/camp all Lisas.
i hearby will hook suicide every single game i play, to show how terrible it is, until the devs decide to do something about it. I ask you to join me in doing so, to eventually stop this menace from happening.
Definitely something a killer main would say and do, since they don't care the least about survivor games.

I'm in midranks and unless the survivors are screwing around or popped by Haunted those gens fly. Starting to see why high ranks tunnel down survivors but I don't if I can help it. Though there are always those survivors that run away once unhooked as their savior just walks so the unhooked gets caught.
Yeah it's vulnerable spot to be in after getting unhooked - if the killer is coming back you either walk and probably get caught anyway because you are making so much noise and leaving blood everywhere, or you try to make distance which leaves scratch marks.

I don't remember the last time I got hit by DS as a killer lol. And I don't run it as survivor but when I get tunneled hard I wish I had it. DS wouldn't be so popular if tunneling wasn't so popular.
Yeah basically this - if tunneling wasn't so common and strong, survivors wouldn't take a perk that sees little to no use.
But since tunneling is common and strong - here's the threat of DS to keep people honest.
-
@YaiPa said:
sure, isn't it obvious. When devs nerfed healing people started the anti-heal meta. Since devs buffed decisive into 60 seconds god mode, people tend to tunnel harder if there's no obsession.
They are predisposed to tunnel anyway. Removing DS does not suddenly make killers play nice.
-
Yes, few times the floor was clear - no grass or other objects to obscure any trails and boom...hit with torment. I was once healing someone else near a trail, but clear of it...halfway through the heal, boom hit with torment for no reason.
Since they made it downright vital to avoid torment when facing Pyramid Head, they should ensure that the decay of the trail is total once it vanishes...or make it not affect when on the final stage of decay.

I changed my build for the challenges. Nightmare. Camping and tunneling at its finest. 3 games in a row no one had DS and killers saw that because no obsession.
Yep, no DS = open season for tunneling by killers. They complain about DS because of misuse, but without it they are the ones that just exploit that weakness. Hypocrites.
-
Maybe because he can do everything.

If it was the pink addon, it takes 16 seconds to apply the heal now.
He's talking about the purple borrowed time in a bottle.

1) You should have trust issues when it comes to DBD
2) It only lasts 8 seconds - which is pretty brief.
3) It didn't happen to be a Deathsliger was it?

I think the opposite is also true. PH shows us how much survivors suck without their 2nd chance perks. If anything I think PH teaches people how to be better survivors. Don't save a teammate right in front of the killer just because you have bt+ds. Wait for the bastard to leave or make the save when he's chasing someone else.
As for PHs that run directly to the cages to tunnel the saved person. Would it be a bad thing if PH couldn't see where the cages are?
You mean how much being a survivor sucks without them. It's open season on you if you don't carry DS and tunneling is strong.
-
This is why I avoid torment at all costs - even if it means getting downed. It shuts down any hook related perk.
Even tormented he can still just hook you then space it out just right to screw you on your second 'hook', or just mini mori on the death hook.

It says a lot that survivors have grown so accustomed to...loop, loop, loop, pallet, loop, loop, loop, pallet that when a killer comes out that throws that off a little it's immediately OP! OP!
That's really all they got to defend themselves - unless you want them to all go full immersed and hide all the time.
-
Yes.

@burntFuse said:
You wouldn't need BT if you'd just pull people out of the cage before the killer runs across the entire map. If you see the cage icon pop up, just start running in the opposite direction and they'll probably spawn right in front of you.
Why do you assume the killer downed them on the opposite side of the map? Downing someone in the center makes it far more likely they will reach the cage - and the less survivors still alive those odds just go up. I guess survivors are just supposed to race through hostile territory with a killer around making them easy to spot and intercept just to reach a cage. Get real.

Anyways, tomorrow is Q&A stream, I hope the whole trend wasn't unspotted and devs won't say "we are not planning to add voice and lobby name for Lisa because it's not our priority". They should have gathered enough feedback to realize what their community wants.
That's never stopped them from ignoring it before.
-
@NursesBootie said:
You got problems against huntress too? Because the counterplay at pallets is easentially the same.
No it's not the same - one is ranged, the other is an AOE. Try ducking his attack.

They work against every other killer, almost got suckered in and bought pyramid head because no DS was very tempting but then I remembered: There's still alot of second chance cheese and he might also get nerfed.
They are not crutch perks if they are required to even have a chance against tunneling/'camping both of which are rampant.
-
The persecution will make your stronger in the end until those who play Lisa are god survivors.
-
This is probably a bug.
I can view profile by clicking on them in pre-match lobby.
It's the after game match scoreboard where I used to be able to click on any name survivor/killer and their profile came up. Now I cannot do that and it makes no sense if this was intentional.
During match you can look up survivor profiles - but not killer because they are not listed there of course.
-
Well if you roll a killer that makes all your chosen perks useless - you can always just ######### on first hook. They haven't taken that away - unless it's a cage then they force you to wait.
