It doesn't take you 2m30s to run from one door to another.
It does if you don't want to get seen and just chased into EGC death, since you won't be allowed to open any exits.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Stop comparing moris and keys. They're not equals. As a survivor, you could just Blendette-in-a-bush your way through the entire match and still get a free escape at the end if you have a key. A mori at least requires the killer to do something.
They are equivalent (ebony is at least and ivory if they decide to tunnel off first hook) - your statement doesn't change that. Both lessen the effort of either side to reach their goal - get kills or escape. Survivors need to complete enough gens for the hatch to even appear (also survive long enough to make use of it), killers need to get first hooks. If a survivor just did a 'blendette' the whole game then guess what, the killer had an easy 3v1 game.

A lot of Survivors just want to hold M1 all game. They say it's boring but whine when something like Ruin + Undying is introduced that creates another objective, they start whining. Also Killers shouldn't have perks that reward them for playing well for some reason.
Because it makes them hold M1 even longer in a match. Totem cleansing has always been an objective for various reasons. Polishing up a turd and presenting it as an objective is still a turd.

I think for new and newish players it’ll be fantastic. I never watched streams on dbd for the first year I played. When I first started I loved technician <3
Or for drunk and high players...not that I am one of them...but you know. Technician was somewhat great just because old Ruin forced you to go for those great skill checks all the time. I always felt it should be a 100% explosion prevention perk.
The sound benefit was negligible unfortunately - against Surveillance it might be somewhat more potent, but otherwise that part was often useless. PainReliever made a youtube vid demonstrating this.
-
Does it counter Surge?
-
They make add-ons useful by nerfing every other add-on and/or item into the ground.
Take for example Brand New Part - they nerfed it sometime ago where you wouldn't even look twice at it if it popped in your blood web.
Now with the somewhat recent toolbox nerf, Brand New Part is like the best add-on you can take.
And they still have like 4-5 add-ons only useful for sabotage...which nobody does.
-
You're not expected to follow any code...if you want to win no matter how you go about it, then that's on you. I personally don't camp, tunnel, mori, noed, etc. because when I win I want it to be because I was good enough to do it myself without having to use any of those easy mode tactics.
It's an asymmetric game, which some people like to only remember when it is convenient for them to do so. It's why survivors do what they can to survive, otherwise their play time is over...they are out of the game. Killers are never at risk of being eliminated from a match.
Camping, tunneling, mori, whatever is pretty much equivalent in joy to facing a fully coordinated SWF - sure fight fire with fire, but most players are not in coordinated SWF, yet many killers will treat all survivors as if they were. Now you get that kind of treatment several games in a row, and you start to question why are you even bothering in the first place.

I think people forget that Head On stuns for 3 seconds.. it's more than enough time to get to a pallet or window.
There's not much of an animation delay to burst out of a locker it is near instant as opposed to getting dropped regaining your control then finally being able to run away. Probably works out to be about the same distance a survivor can get from either perk.
-
DS of 1-2 seconds is worthless. I refuse to play until it is fixed - there are just too many tunnelers out there and fear of DS is the only thing that kept them in check.
-
I would consider it worse if nobody cared what BHVR did.

I'm all for DS nerf as I never use it. But man the tunnel is on today!
You may not use it but you indirectly benefited from it, because if that killer saw obsession was in play at least one probably more had it and it generally curbed tunneling. Now there's no reason on certain killers not to tunnel.
-
Haven't you heard - DS was nerfed accidentally.
It's open season.

I have. Nothing changed.
Then if nothing change you answered your own question.
-
Part of the game playing with randos.
While I never steal, what I like to do if I'm running my Plunderer's build is just pick up the dropped item and set it back down for them to get later. Solo survivors get screwed enough without having other survivors do it to them.
-
I have noticed any difference in queue times - but I may just sit this game out for awhile because of all the new bugs and the graphics update kind of alienated me.
-
Good survivors have known to do that for years already.
-
When I suddenly have to use the bathroom or answer the phone...
Otherwise the only reason I would dodge is if I already played that group in the previous game.

Killer can counter it by camping the slug - as if he wasn't going for the tunnel and camp in the first place anyway.
Or killer can grow a pair, get rid of the DS and not worry about it the rest of match. Survivor will be hell of a lot less brave after that as well.
If you cannot counter this combination or know how to get fresh hooks that it does not matter, you were fated to lose the match anyway.
-
Now a ship map is a water level I can support. Think it would be a great idea.
-
I only have one of the Cheryl's just because her base variety in cosmetics is so lacking - just palette swapping the shirt.
That said I have zero intention of buying locked sets. I do not want to support what I feel are bad trends.

If the nurse is really good you simply cannot react fast enough to her blinks.
However there are some things you can do. Nurses generally fall into two categories - the first is nurse who doesn't blink unless she can see you. These are easier to deal with - keep breaking line of sight behind walls and get distance on her.
The second is tougher, they anticipate where you are going to be and blink there. Against these you still break line of sight as much as possible, but you need to change direction or juke (or not if she has seen you do that several times try to be unpredictable). Just don't be where she thinks you will be when you break line of sight and you hear her charging up a blink.
Corn and piles of tires are your friends.
-
Fun is highly subjective - I guess fair would be a better term. If you are obviously trashing the survivors there is no need to go try hard on them. I'm not afraid of DS when I kill either - I have even picked up poor slobs who happened to get nailed by me right after unhook, just to test for DS, then toss them back on the ground when they don't have it to go after someone else.
I try to be fair - and that's all they want is a fair chance to play the match. Not get mori'ed off the first hook, tunneled into oblivion, or camped.
-
That's a pretty long list...
For me it's when everyone else gets slugged 60 seconds into the match. Or when they fall quicker than you can save them.
It's not my responsibility to keep them alive they have to take charge of that.
-
I used Insidious for mind games. They don't expect it cause everyone thinks it is just a camping perk. It has allowed me to even mind game the killer shack many times. That Blendette that keeps tapping your gen then vanishing? She's in for a surprise. Waiting at the exit gate...jump scare time.
And I used it on Legion of all things.
-
I'm pretty sure this glitch has become a top tier killer.
There's your idea for the next killer we'll call it 'The Hill'.
-
Worst part about taking Solidarity is the other survivor almost always insists on trying to heal you first.
There should be a notification similar to We'll Make it that alerts that someone has Solidarity.
-
You probably would have a higher survival rate if you just noted where all the totems were and did your gens - then dealt with noed. If it appeared at all. NOED only appears in maybe 20% of my games - and you can usually tell it's coming...the killer is bad (camper or cannot catch anyone) or just doesn't care about protecting gens.
You are also destroying anyone else's chance of getting benefit from Inner Strength by totem hunting to the exclusion of anything else.

I have 3k+ hours and am devotion 12. I've played plenty of survivor lol
I guess I don't understand why you would bring up the question then. You know then when a cause is lost or it is just hell to continue slugging away. Sometimes it is better to cut losses and jump back into another game that might have a chance at some actual fun, Not like this game is an esport.
-
Because games do not generally force people to keep playing them. It's an out for various reasons, if you played more survivor you would experience plenty of them.
-
I think you are doing fine as a clown.
-
87% of facts are made up.
Besides that is exaggerating...it's more like only 86%.
-
Even though this reeks of bait - he's right.
-
If it's done right it can help change a game. I have one build that includes self-care, but I rarely (meaning never) use it alone. With medkits and Botany it is amazing...and a boon if I happen to run out of medkit charges midway through a heal.
Recent example...killer had three gen strat...I was whittling away at one gen while the other two survivors left whittled away at another. I was able to tank hits while retreating, then bounce right back after a fast heal. The other two had to pause and heal each other.
I finished my gen first. Two of us escaped...one of them didn't make it. They were injured and could not make the exit past the killer.
I don't agree with people running just self-care then running to the edge of the map to heal every time they are injured, especially if a save needs to be made. That is the wrong way - but at least they aren't being a one hit wonder and going on the hook constantly.
-
Like this thread.
-
I can get behind this. The Huntress should just snuggle him to death.
-
Once again it's one side of the story. Maybe they wanted your cooperation for a challenge - but you decided to be a butt about it.
Not enough information to make a judgement, but I'm pretty sure I'm not going to report killers for this despite your encouragement...ever.
-
Deep wounds overlay is the worse - all it does it succeed in camouflaging the killers red stain and annoying me. Along with the Plague's infected special effects on my HUD - that can go too I don't want to look at that all game, which is usually the case since cleansing against Plague is taboo.
-
DS is the sole reason that tunneling is not as rampant as it already is now.
There are some killers who have a self sense of honor about not tunneling off the hook - but the majority, yeah they would do it way more if the threat of DS was not in the picture.
-
Rigged timer is okay - especially if they just feel like knocking out gens and want to deal with the RBT after...that could cost them.
I rarely use ambush - so whatever helps slow down the game is best to me. Even though it is at the mercy of RNG anything that buffs your RBT- the Crate of Gears that slows down searches, followed by anything that adds more Jigsaw boxes or RBT is the best imo.
The add=ons that increase the chance of skill check just suck. Most of her add=ons actually suck.
-
Well they should at least be able to see chat - so I can yell at them.
Can they? Cause this will change my world.
-
Unless it's for an unbreakable play - yeah they need to crawl away from the hook. Otherwise the killer can just camp two people easily.
-
Saw one survivor stuck so I tried to push him and see if that would pop him out - we both ended up stuck.
So beware that glitch can suck in more than one survivor.
-
Yes if you can just have the game in your steam library that unlocks it (no need to download or install). They really should just make it available for free in store or for a pittance in shards - it's an okay cosmetic.

Deadslinger gets decimated against high swf team. He doesn't need nerf, if he gets nerf you won't see him again, and that's really stupid.
That's due to another completely different issue - gens getting done. The counterplay to these 'master' killers is to knock out gens as fast as possible before people start dying. IF you want to call that counterplay.
-
Huntress with her BS 'big as a truck that only gets worse thanks to dedicated servers' hatchet hit boxes.

Get rank 1. I rarely find console players at rank 1 while there are console players everywhere at purple and green ranks.
That would make sense...if matchmaking actually worked and respected rank instead of throwing in the rainbow on most matches.

While it isn't the killer's fault for the glitch, it is their fault for being an honorless wretch about it.
Suppose that's the kind of people this game attracts.
-
Simple really:
PC - Quality
Console - Quantity
Joking aside, there are just more console gamers in general.
-
Had it happen several times...been able to get out of it on my own a few times. There's an odd angle to try to wiggle back out of that works. Back toward the ramp up the hill, then away from the hill.
