So everyone?

If you're losing then it's because you played badly and don't deserve the victory. Simple as that.
What you're saying is basically that tunneling is necessary to award you an undeserved victory
We don't use "deserve" in these forums. It's an unspoken rule. You can't say I didn't deserve a kill, just like I can't say those survivors didn't deserve to escape. But there's Tru3's video and countless others that show little to no mistakes on the killer's part, and they barely were able to squeeze out a kill or 2.

Please adress this brokeness on the swamps! It will be abused a lot by survivors! Literally makes the game for killer unplayable!
Just like that one loop that's just log with a window on a hill, or in front of the Pale Rose, and it can be looped for so long with no chance to mindgame. And it can be used over and over.
-
Ruin/Undying rewards killers for pressuring the gens, because without it those perks you can have insane pressure and the gens still fly because of no passive regression, or the crappy base regression of kicking a gen. It discourages camping, and isn't that what we all want?
-
Isn't that add-on broken? The last time I tried to use it, it wasn't giving me the rush. Then again, I was playing as Blight who already has a rush. But regardless, I think if an add-on says it should do something, it should do it.

Why don't I rank up if I camp? Do I really have to suffer these sweaty survivors who play as if their life depended on it? Do I really have to chase them and have them T-bag me after they complete a vault? Do I really have to chase these freaks who want to get chased in a loop? Why do they get rewarded for playing like jackasses but killers don't? Regardless of your position on camping, it should not get punished like this.
If you prefer that playstyle, I recommend basement Trapper.

Perk preference in the bloodweb. I hate spending 1,000,000 bp to get 1 perk.

I mean, what's wrong being "forced" to play swf? Like you I also at some point started playing 4-man only swf with my friends and tbh, that was a blessing. Not only our escape rate skyrocketed, which led to a far more enjoyable experience than before, but this game became somewhat relaxing.
Because if there's a solo option, I should be able to play it. I also play killer, and I know when I'm facing a SWF because they all have Borrowed, at least 1 person on a gen at all times, things that solos have a hard time grasping. It leads to very sweaty and stressful games for the killer, and chill ones for the survivors. I much prefer facing solos, so that I'm not on the edge of my seat the whole match. Solo mode needs some help, and the best way to solve that is by making good teammates more likely to be matched with you. It's unacceptable that someone who goes into stealth every time Spine Chill lights up for 0.1 seconds is constantly getting matched up with someone who gets all the saves, does 2 gens by themselves, AND know how to loop well. That's called dragging the team down, because the good player should escape, but his teammates decided they want to lose by not doing ANYTHING while a 5-gen chase is going on.

Not their fault that a killer goes in to "desperation" mode and NEEDS to start tunneling.
Is it really their fault a killer needs to start tunneling? Are there areas the killer can start improving on before going on full tunnel mode because he's losing the game?
You're assuming the killer has room for improvement. Sometimes you play flawless, or make 1 mistake, and you still lose as killer. Maybe it's the survivors' fault that the killer goes into tunnel mode, but winning vs not winning necessitates that the killer tunnels or slugs for momentum. You do these things, like face camping someone once the exits are powered, because not doing so is a guaranteed loss and doing so increases your chances of getting more kills. A killer does not go through the 7 stages of toxicity in order to tunnel. He does it because he needs to.
If you're the survivor, you'll call the killer cheap or toxic for tunneling. But to an outsider looking in, it is simply the smart thing to do if the killer JUST wants that kill. Tunneling hurts killers in the long run, especially against coordinated teams. If a survivor knows a killer is tunneling, he will do gens because the killer can't tunnel and keep pressure on everyone. By the time the killer has tunneled the survivor out of the game, the gates are open and everyone else is out. Tunneling is in a good place right now. Enough to guarantee a kill, but not enough to guarantee 4.

Run the tiles, link the tiles. And each killer, you play against differently.

Red and purple survivors get matched with yellow killers constantly.

Blight isn't overrated. Even if you miss your turns his mobility alone makes him better than other killers. Having a way to get around the map quickly is huge in this game.
But every 10 seconds is you injecting (stunning) yourself for using your power, and if you're not using it you're an M1 killer with no ability. By the time your stun is over, the survivor has made it to a safe pallet which you must leave or throw the whole game looping around.
-
Trapper, of course.
-
I would say put on an ebony mori to make you feel better but now we don't even get that.

-
Blight is overrated, especially on PS4. Even with turn add-ons, his turning is nothing. Survivors will wiggle and make you miss your ability every single time. What does that leave? An M1 killer with no ability. I guess the devs didn't foresee that.

You can’t use that as a justifiable argument to not run DS
l made mistakes during a game which is now leading me to tunnel.
This is the exact reason people do run DS.
It would like a survivor saying “l just missed a skill check on the gen, please don’t use pop on it”
Pop is such an overrated perk, I'd be like "Yes! Please use Pop!"
Unless you're psychic, you never truly know if someone has DS. Playing around DS when people don't have it, or betting on them not having it and then they hit you with it, are game losing plays. That is why I dislike DS, or at least the fact that there is zero indication of its use. When it first came out, people were enraged about being hit by non-obsession DS, but now it's become a normal everyday thing. But it shouldn't be considered normal and people should still be outraged by it.
-
But there's some games where tunneling is necessary to play catch-up because you're losing, because of mistakes you made or otherwise, In which case 4 people running DS creates and unwinnable game.

Why should survivors pick up a pallet just because they have a perk? I have really never heard someone complain about Killer Instinct on Legion. I can't even begin to create an argument for it because it's something so... not annoying.
You're comparing a killer's baseline mechanic to a survivor's perk.

Its not a fact. Stop spreading lies declaring them as fact, when you dont even have a proof for that.
I guess we can't have a discussion about gen grabs then, because apparently every piece of information needs to be cited (some of which is probably insider information kept secret from the public) and all this other matter-of-fact red tape. Why, we might as well not have forums at all, because too many 'lies'!
And that's rich coming from you because you literally replied saying the exact same thing I did. We both said: "It's the servers"! If you don't need a source, neither do I.

Source for that claim please
Don't be like that. It's a well known fact. It doesn't need a source. Try to go for a gen grab (outside of potato ranks) and you will get it about 1/10 times. Maybe with Ghost Face or lvl 1 Meyers you'll get it easier because of no terror radius.
I thought we were past this; the general consensus is that the game regularly takes away gen grabs.

Even if that combo lands, I can see it being frustrating, but frustrating doesn't equal toxic.
It took me a while to realize in full that just because it's frustrating, it's not fully toxic unless YOU let it under your skin.
Actual toxicity is after game chat stuff or whatever, but in game, killer tries to kill and survivors survive, using all tools given by the game.
Tbagging in game is a diversion more than a toxic measure, locker stringing ds sounds the same.
The survivor is using all tools in the kit.
So basically nothing is ever toxic, because it's all in our heads? Okay.
Saying tbagging is for distraction is just making excuses for tbaggers. There are so many ways other than tbagging that you can distract the killer.
-
It's the servers. The game prioritizes what the survivor sees. That's why it takes away grabs literally all the time.
-
Here comes the hatch apologists.

If you get ds stunned, then see them jump back in a locker for a head on. That's still on you as the killer.
Couldn't spend one minute chasing someone else? Can't fake a locker grab to juke their head on?
That's on you boo boo.
You're not hearing me. If I'm stun locked, it can't be on me because there's no input from my end that will stop me from getting stunned the 2nd time.
Also, juking a Head-On is easier said than done, if you've had any experience against it. The hitbox is so huge, and stays active long after the survivor has fully emerged from the locker. And unless the survivor has bad ping or something, they will have enough time to react to you trying to open up the locker for real. Even if you do get to it in time, the game takes away your grab and gives priority to the survivor.
-
No. You'll know if it's Undying if you break a totem and a previously unlit totem becomes lit.

To be fair, usually the survivors doing that are laughing so hard in discord they don't even expect to survive the match; they're just messing around. Head on is more of a make a killer mad perk than an actual efficient exhaustion perk haha.
But they totally can survive the match if they're in a big enough lead. That's the most annoying thing, is when they waste so much time BMing and still escape, because the match conditions are so in their favor.
-
All of the useless perks on Ace, Jeff, Ash, etc. You just know which ones I'm talking about, or you could look at play rates. Let me list a specific one though: Premonition. Why is it still in the game when we have Spine Chill, which is better than Premonition in every way? I don't know what buff needs to be made, but please make Premonition a playable perk instead of meme tier.
-
It can be though, like hitting a killer with DS from a locker, then jumping back in it and stun locking them into a Head-On. That's BM.
-
Yeah, just put on Spine Chill and don't let the gens run all the way down, OR do the totems.
-
I absolutely approve of the extension. Some of these challenges like the "stun the killer 4 times in a single trial" one are annoyingly hard to do, and are gonna be trial in error if anything. So the extra time was much needed.

Wow. SWF, keys, blueprints, DS/DH. You really like to play in easy mode, don't you?
We all need to experience easy mode every once in a while. It's why I disagree with moris being nerfed.
-
Killer is easiest to pip with (unless you're rank 1), then solo que, then SWF. You just need to learn the 4 point categories of each role and try to get as many points by doing actions as you can. For one, simply using your ability as killer gets you deviousness points.
-
Never could tell the difference, personally.

I'm sorry, is your issue that the same survivor with Borrowed Time got two unhooks in a short period of time? And you want to take away his Borrowed Time?
I mean, if you are hooking Survivors SO FAST that you can't keep up with all this unhooking it sounds like you are doing pretty well for yourself.
There's always this rabbit trail counter argument talking about "But that means you're doing well!" Do you think we care? Do you think that somehow makes it right?
I think it could do with a cooldown. Weaker perks have gotten cooldowns, especially killer ones. So why not Borrowed?

This is the biggest thing. Folks think it's some skill versus skill game or something, it's not. It's like.....65% knowledge, 15% skill and the other 20% is luck and things beyond your control.
It's easier once you realise that, because literally anyone can get good at this game, and there is nothing to feel bad about when that kinda thing happens for that same reason.
Which is sad. This game is similar, more than we initially realize, to the likes of Fortnite and Mario Kart, because half the game is just RNG anyway. The only difference being this game takes way more effort to play and be good at, and most times the reward, if any, is not adequate for the amount of effort you've put in.

I'm sorry but I don't see a problem. No one in this game is entitled to anything, not killers nor survivors. You are not an exception killers are not entitled to a 4k if you didn't find and kill the last survivor that is on you.
Of course. That hatch that randomly spawned and then those random door placements? Totally in my control. I'll just do better next time. 😂

@Ttwylerr said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/213817/hatch-should-not-open-in-this-scenario
So in this scenario did the last survivor repair the gens and chose to go for hatch? Honestly it doesn't matter both the survivor and killer has to choose what to go for and theres a 1 in 3 you will find them if not too bad man you got a 3k and most likely got a pip. You ain't gonna 4k every time just like everyone else.
They didn't repair the last gen, but oh I closed hatch and that powers the exits for some strange reason. And I had actually been racing the survivor to the hatch and beat them there. But then the magic disappearing scratch marks happen, I lose them, go to patrol the exits, and they get out because the gates were too far apart. 2nd on top of 2nd chance on top of 2nd chance!

You've already won. You killed three dudes. One survivor escaping is not big deal.
It is a big deal to me, and to the pipping system. That person did not deserve to escape, forgive me for using the d word.
-
Watch a killer take off their Ruin/Undying and see how fast the gens go. And I must repeat: a killer cannot get value out of Ruin while camping. You might give him that value by going for the rescue instead of staying on gens. But that's you making the perk strong, not the killer.
-
Basically just make the graphics better.
-
Toxicity is bad because it's bad. End of story.

It's really not hard to complete 5 gens.
You assume too much. We can get 5 gens done easy. But if keys are in the game... why not use them, you know?
