I agree that Chaser should be the most important, but why is Survival at the bottom? Survival should be secondary, because the goal is to escape the trial. That’s why so many red ranks refuse to do gens and just unhook everybody they see, because it gives so many points. This way the focus will be on doing the overall objective in the game, escaping.
-
No, but it’s been happening a lot to me as Killer since the new patch. Happens every now and then as Survivor, but as Killer, every 3 games it happens.
-
Survivor: Blendette but starting to like playing as Bill (might switch to him soon)
Killer: Legion, occasional Spirit game, once in a great while Wraith or Plague
-
Jake sounds like he is in the most pain, whereas Jane sounds like she rather enjoys it.
-
He’s Devotion 302, Level 97.
-
They sound completely different. Yui’s voice is higher pitched. Their screams also are very distinguishable.
-
Love going against: Legion (No, I’m not kidding), Nurse, Wraith
Hate going against: Huntress, Freddy, New Doctor

Lmao. Who wants to bet op is a survivor main who plays with a swf. 😂
Did you have a bad day today? Maybe it’s time for a break. Yes, I am a Survivor main, but no, I’ve never played with a SWF. I got to red ranks on my own. Also, what about my post hinted at me being a “survivor main who plays with a SWF?” I said that I DON’T believe that “garbage” Killers get “carried” by Spirit (pay attention to the quotation marks). Do you just copy and paste this message on any discussion where you don’t agree with the OP?

I like to mess around with different perks, and I prefer to play aggressive over stealth. But if I had to guess what I've used most often, it'd probably be Iron Will, BT, Unbreakable and an exhaustion perk of some kind. Spine chill which you had can be pretty useful sometimes.
I give yours a 7/10 :)

Rough. What’s your Survivor build? I’ll rate yours, subjectively of course :)

I rate this 2016 meta/10. Nah, but really, I'd drop self-care, lightweight, and maybe Spine Chill. Self-care takes way too long to heal and encourages you to be out of the game, essentially dropping it to a 3v1 for a good amount of time. Lightweight is so-so, there are definitely more useful perks that I'd consider running instead, but not bad. Spine Chill is Spine Chill. It can be useful when going against stealth killers. Sprint Burst is one of the two (arguably three) good exhaustion perks on Dedicated Servers. I myself like running We're Gonna Live Forever, We'll Make It, DS (of course) and Lithe, but that's just me.
Do you think Lightweight makes a big difference as Killer? Have you ever had trouble tracking a Survivor and found out afterwards that they had Tier 3 Lightweight?
-
PainRelievers is my favorite because he has a stealthy play style and is a Blendette like me, and gives tips on how to handle certain situations. His voice is soothing as well.
-
Self-Care :)

It's essential at higher levels, and great with Freddy/PGTW. But a sign of the time problems with slower killers - you just cant make to to a yellow gen before it pops.
Seriously falling out of love with this game when the killers' only purpose is to be trolled by SWF survivors who can now hide under hooks unhittable.
Been running Discordance + Monitor with Legion and it’s been working wonders. I also agree that the new hook tech is ridiculous. I’ve never used it as a Survivor because it’s so broken.
-
Dead by Daylight is definitely survivor-biased, especially at high ranks. As I’ve seen people say before, Killers capitalize on Survivor mistakes, not so much the other way around. With perks such as Spine Chill giving you early warnings, Sprint Burst for a head start, Dead Hard for a free dodge, Kindred for location knowledge, Iron Will making you silent while injured, etc. (not even going into SWF), Survivors should almost always win (“win” meaning at least 1 Survivor escapes), unless the map complements the Killer extremely well (e.g. Myers in Hawkins or Billy in Coldwind).

Nice try. It's too easy to reinstall. You'll never make it until Friday
It will definitely be an uphill battle, but with your support, I may just do it. I’ll keep you updated

It ignores exhaustion, therefore is not an exhaustion perk.
That’s not what exhaustion perk means. An exhaustion perk is one that causes the exhausted status effect.

@Nhekii said:
Adrenaline is not an exhaustion perk.
Yes it is.
From Official DBD Wiki:
You are fuelled by unexpected energy when on the verge of escape.
Instantly heal one Health State and sprint at 150 % of your normal running speed for 5 seconds when the Exit Gates
are powered.
Adrenaline is on hold if you are disabled when it triggers and will activate upon being freed.
Adrenaline will wake you up if you are asleep when it triggers.
Adrenaline ignores Exhaustion.
Causes the Exhausted
Status Effect for 60/50/40 seconds

Sorry bruh, nothing personal, but a group that intentionally brings four toolboxes on a patch where killers are sensitive about games now going too fast is not a good idea.
Once again, I am not calling you out or specifically ranting against you, this was more of a question about using OP add-ons or Moris just because of the items the survivors bring. Needless to say, I left the PTB after getting facecamped in half of my matches because the Killers were “protesting the Ruin changes”.
-
First of all, I never called him a dick. I told him that I wasn’t even mad (which isn’t really true but I wasn’t about to ######### at him while he was streaming). Second of all, I’m responding to somebody who asked why there wasn’t a “It doesn’t have to do with your team deserving it or not” option, and I am essentially asking whether they agree with me or with Scott. I am not bashing him at all; this situation has happened to me several times where the killer tells us they brought OP add-ons or a Mori because we all had toolboxes.
-
It’s not just Jane’s physique, her face is very pretty as well.

@Carlosylu said:
Where is the "it doesn't have to do with your team deserving it or not" option?
I use this language because in his stream, after the 4K, Scott said that we were dicks for bringing toolboxes and that we deserved to lose to an Iri Head Huntress in the PTB.
-
Big brain, big brain.
-
A Cypress Memento Mori would be the easiest and cheapest option for this. Allows you to kill the last Survivor in the trial. These start consistently appearing in the blood web around Level 15.

That's camping. Lol
I do this only when I know there is a survivor nearby.
-
Pretending to phase walk as Spirit. Not just at loops, but also after hooking Survivors. Granted, I’m a Rank 12 Killer, so if I start playing higher ranks it probably won’t work very well.
-
Voting Yes on this, however, I’ve had plenty of killers accuse me of being “toxic” when I am simply just playing the game. I had a Trapper (who was clearly doing some basement hook challenge) facecamp me after he would down me too far from the basement, try to take me there, I would wiggle out, and sprint back to that very same spot that he first downed me. I have never teabagged disrespectfully or flashlight clicked or done whatever BM that validates facecamping, but sometimes killers are too sensitive and label nontoxic behavior as toxic.
-
Don’t save in the endgame if the killer is camping.
-
Most Spirit and Huntress players are unbelievably tunnel-y at high ranks.
-
Would the US chapter be the tethered version of DBD survivors? If so, I am intrigued. The comment above mine however makes me believe that maybe I misunderstood.
-
When I think of a “stealthy” survivor, I think of a Claudette who uses Urban Evasion all game and takes forever just to get to the objective, which wastes a lot of time and contributes very little to the team. These survivors almost always get discovered by the killer so they end up downed or hooked anyways, so why take all of the extra time by crouch-walking everywhere? I once was hooked in the basement and had a Meg crouch-walk all the way to my hook while the Obsession was being chased, and she got a couple of steps away from me before the timer ran out and I died. I thought that maybe I had pissed her off somehow but when I spectated the rest of the match I saw that she was a Rank 17 that literally crouch-walked everywhere she went.
-
Absolutely she is top tier. I main Spirit, but am starting to use Plague more and more. The only time I struggle with her is on huge maps against smart survivors. Indoor maps, on the other hand, are almost always a quick and easy 4K. Another problem I have with her is how she can get looped pretty easily with the right set-up.
-
I never considered running We’ll Make It until just recently, but it has helped tremendously in a couple of different ways. First, it is a great counter to proxy camping killers because the heal can be completely finished in 8 seconds, and also, it gives us more time to do what is really important (gens). Tier 3 also gives you 100% additional healing speed for a full 90 seconds, so if you run Empathy along with it, you can heal more teammates, which means more points and an overall greater team advantage over the killer.

@Rasinbran said:
Oh my god do people actually get salty when I do that do them? I always found it funny whenever it happened to me.
Thanks for encouraging me to do it every time now :)
I think it’s hilarious when I blow up a gen and they look at me, crouch, and slowly nod their head.

Once the bugs and load screen crashes are fixed to not count as DC I agree.
People who threaten, “if you ban players they’ll find another game,” to them I say GREAT.
Id rather the game have 100K players that stick it out and not 300K players where half of them DC first time they get hit or if they hear the Nurse sound.
I haven’t been scared of the first Nurse sound ever since her nerf. :) I’ve heard that good Nurses still do very well even after her nerf, but I have yet to encounter one of them.
-
I’m pretty sure that it takes a couple of seconds to start making progress on the gen again after somebody blows it up.

They do! I always help them mending against legion. And I am cleansing totems so we don't get hit by noed.
I have a feeling that you are underappreciated. On a more serious note, what do you think about Inner Strength? I had a game where 3 of my teammates were running it and they were arguing in the end game chat about “stealing” their heals. I ask because many top streamers have been hyping it up.
-
Spirit because she is ridiculously overpowered and you don’t even need to be good at Killer to get a 4K.

I just heal myself in a corner with self care. It just takes forever.

For some reason “gold orbs” did not register as “auric cells” to me, and I voted “yes” before realizing what you meant. I say “no”, because the only time I have ever purchased auric cells was on Black Friday, and even then I only spent 10 dollars. Giving benefits to players who pay more is never good. If you had mentioned an XP booster that could be paid for using iridescent shards, I would be all for it.
-
Placing traps (if you place them well) around hooked survivors will usually give you enough time to get a hit off of the un-hooker. You also need to place traps around pallet loops to end chases quickly, because the player’s camera will always turn towards your projection once it triggers, making it easy to reappear and M1 for the hit. Ruin is a must, because, like Trapper, it will take time to set everything up the way you want it, and the reason why she is 110% movement speed is because she has all of these traps at her disposal, she doesn’t need to go around collecting them like Trapper does. You also should not expect a quick game unless you’ve hooked somebody in the basement against an overly altruistic team.
-
I have this happen to me about once every 20 matches, and I agree that there should definitely be a way for them to tell if it is an intentional DC or the game crashing/rank update error. I’ve had times where the error occurs as the killer is chasing me and then next match I get paired up with the same survivors who think I was rage quitting and they go after me in the pre-game lobby and don’t believe me when I say it was unintentional. Kinda sucks but I just deal with it because it isn’t too frequent to ruin playing survivor for me.
-
I’ve been one of two remaining survivors in a match where the other one DCs so I can get the hatch and frankly I don’t understand it. Are you really so against the killer “winning” (I consider a 4K to be the only true “win”) that you are willing to de-pip and get 0 points from a 20 minute match? It only makes sense to me when it’s SWF and one of them is on the hatch. Even then, I wouldn’t consider it a strategy, I would consider it cheating (coming from a survivor main).
