I do.
I walk sideways. And it’s bloody annoying.
Yeah, lots of ways you have to adjust your playstyle to counter a killer power or a perk from either side is bloody annoying. That does not mean they are too strong or need to be changed.

I do think it needs some sort of adjustment or cooldown. Things like free vault speed for nothing during a chase is BS, and a killer shouldn’t have to 100% always move sideways never actually seeing where they’re going.
6% faster vault speed when fast vaulting takes
.5 second is imperceptible. It's only maybe noticeable when you combine it with Resilience, but that's only with you're injured.
And you don't have to 100% always move sideways. First of all, you merely need to turn your head slightly and second, only when you're a handful of seconds away from the gen.
The problem is not that the perk is too strong, it's that so many killers are too lazy to make even a slight adjustment to their playstyle. You know the old advice: adapt. The perk has been in the game for years. Stop complaining and actually do something about it if you're convinced it's that powerful.

that's like telling a survivor to mute their sound
be realistic
You can literally just.. not look directly at the gen you're going to. This really isn't complex. Get good.

With Thana you have to keep 4 survivors injured to gain 16%. With my version of DL, you would gain 14% slowdown instantly by just normally playing the game. I think it is good as it is.
About Territorial, yes it is strong, but it will get cleansed eventually. A killer that patrols Totems more than they should tends to lose, as far as I know. Maybe the locker thing is too strong tho... but it is a Hex so IDK it's debatable. How could I forget...

Huummm... Object of Obsession... what about that?...
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1630963#Comment_1630963
I am definitely not an expert in DBD and most of them could need some adjustments, but I also believe that they were overall good.
What's your point? Did I defend object of obsession? No. They could delete that perk and it wouldn't bother me one bit. It's mainly for trolling anyway.
-
Personally I don't think he's fun to play against but he's definitely not boring. Frustrating against certain add ons.
-
Actually throw This Is Not Happening in there too. Worthless perk.
-
Didn't they say they had a priority list a few months ago? I think Cruel Limits was on it but I'm not sure what else. Here are my top 5 hopes, though..
Survivor wish list:
- Vigil
- Open Handed
- Technician
- Wake Up!
- Up the Ante
Killer:
- Unrelenting
- Monstrous Shrine
- Territorial Imperative
- Insidious
- Mindbreaker
-
Basically if a survivor does anything at all you want them to have their aura revealed or killer instinct. Sounds like an absolutely horrible game to play.
-
No thanks.
-
It's a ridiculous add on so the changes can't come soon enough.
-
Imagine thinking there's a grand conspiracy and Nurse didn't actually need a nerf 😂

None. The only reason to "tea-bag" is to try and get the Killer to chase you to protect someone or keep him/her away from a Generator being worked. Satisfaction shouldn't come into it at all. I also think it is quite possible to get the Killer to chase you (more effective in fact) without the tea-bagging as chances are they will know you WANT them to chase you and choose to ignore you.
I'm sorry to sound a bit condescending, but if you are getting "satisfaction" out of Tea-Bagging, you are exactly the kind of person who drags this game down and makes it into the kind of game which breeds more of said behavior.
I don't teabag a killer I clearly outmatched who was just trying to learn the game/a new power. I teabag killers that tunnel or camp, I teabag to say thank you for giving me the hatch or for farming, I teabag to quickly grab the killer's attention away from something else, I teabag when I know the killer is about to see my aura as a way to say "come get me" and finally I teabag the killer when they outplayed me and I'm about to go down.
Do you know of any horror movie where the killer and survivor don't taunt each other? You know, before they viciously murder one another? Play a co op game if you wanna hold hands and sing kumbaya
-
Also I'm not sure why Nemesis needs to create an obsession at the start? It would affect nothing and give you the false impression that at least one survivor is running DS. Plus survivors would benefit from seeing that the obsession is in a chase.
I think it's cool that Nemesis can create an obsession mid match.
-
There's really no reason that the perks NEED to be "consistent" and plenty of reason why the devs want to avoid too much synchronicity (I think that's the wrong word but I can't think of the right one so I'm gonna leave it), hence why Pop and Ruin don't work at the same time.
Now, could some of the perks use a buff and/or rework? Absolutely. Should being the obsession ever give that survivor a BUFF? No. But I definitely don't want to see builds where tunneling the obsession is so rewarding you'd be an idiot not to.
-
I don't like it at all and hope they get rid of it ASAP.
-
Yeah really cool but a little too dark. Nice job though I like it!
-
I see a ton of Badham but only the Yamaoka maps twice without an offering.
-
I think every killer other than Myers and Oni has been mentioned.
I'd have to say Spirit and Freddy. I roll my eyes whenever I realize it's one of them. Basically easy mode for killer.

We just got hundreds of double bp cakes back in June...
There were multiple in every bloodweb
They've also given away at least 300k bp via codes in the past couple of weeks.
They're hardly starving us for bp
Lol OK. It's now almost halfway through September and 300k disappears in less than 2 minutes. There's literally no actual reason to not have more ways to get BP. They've been talking about rank and better prestige rewards for years.

i mean in a situation where they open hatch but thanks
You mean when one opens it and others go to jump in? If you're close enough you can close it before a second survivor jumps in. Otherwise the counter is to get rid of the key and/or survivors before it gets to that point. It's not always possible, but it's not always possible to avoid a mori either. Until they rework keys and moris they are just a (typically rare) reality of the game design.
-
Franklin's
Sacrifice the survivor with the key before they can use it
Bring a mori if you see a key in the lobby

I assume they mean that now even if the killer shuts the hatch a person with a key is very likely to find it. Those closed hatch is also just easier to find in general.
Oh OK that makes sense. I can't see it making a huge change but I guess we'll see. I'm sure the devs are monitoring it. And they did say they want to change keys at some point
-
BTW if you play that offering the killer can see it so they can easily play around it if need be
-
When were they buffed? And the only decent thing they do other than open hatch is track the killer, but you can only do it for like 10 seconds before the key drains.
-
It's really sad that mobile has a lot of features that PC/consoles don't have and probably never will.
-
Nobody cares if you like them dude.
-
That's not what a nerf is lol
-
Now that would be a dream come true lol

@Mooks said:
Maybe not guaranteed but it should definitely have higher chances for spawning.
Yes even that would be awesome

I should clarify I have the slim. Not sure if that matters though?

And I'm on the regular ps4.

Very smooth. No problems for me.

Did your app crash? Maybe people are having issues with the software update or i've seen others complaining the servers are laggy. Maybe they are lagging out?
It was in the load screen for about 3 minutes before I closed it so I guess it technically didn't crash lol

Did you play an offering for Yamaoka? Killers might be dodging it (even though it is much fairer for killer now they can see in it).
@GoshJosh said:
Possibly a hidden killer offering in each instance? People DC to dodge moris (or what they suspect is a mori).
I didn't play anything and didn't look tbh. Maybe that's it
-
I didn't DC on purpose btw

Find them before healing another survivor or you can't get within 6 ft of them
OK you guys are going too far 😅

@OmegaXII said:
Well, survivors technically can't die because they got revived every time. So why keep them safe? :)
Ooohhh the Entity would love you lol

I'm not sure if it's even insured, actually! Maybe, just maybe, Survivors could bring in the union.
Wow good point! We should strike

I've had 0 issues on regular ps4. Running smoothly.

It has to do with the way updates are handled on different platforms. To keep it simple, files are combined into packages and those packages are downloaded and swapped out when you update part of them. Some platforms have bigger packages than others due to the way they handle updates.
We do what we can to keep the size down, but when we update a lot of assets like this, it's not unusual for the size of the updates to be larger. With a larger update, the difference in sizes between the different platforms becomes a little more noticeable.
Which console/system has the biggest packages?

If you're that scared of chases, then just tap it and go find a different a gen to do. If multiple gens are yellow, then the Killer won't know where you're at and will have to guess. It's not like you'll never be able to complete a gen.
ROFL yeah I'm scared of chases in a game built around them. That's why I've been playing for like 3 years now. 🙄 You're really good at arguing.

Surveillance wasn't breaking anything or creating new situations where it would be overpowered. It was a strong perk that could stand on its own. Now you pretty much need to run another perk to help it out.
Saying that Surveillance now has somewhat of a counter is laughable and makes me think that you just want easy escapes. You could either tap the gen or keep working on it and let the Killer chase you.
ROFL why should I even bother replying when you jump to "you want easy escapes?"
Surveillance tells the killer where someone is. Tapping it and letting them chase you is not a counter to that. Like come on
-
Otz is just fine. He has a healthy perspective on the game and can handle losses and taunting unlike some people. No need to feel bad for him.

@SnakeSound222 said:
At least it’s something.
Still doesn’t make up for murdering Surveillance though.
You mean fixing it as was originally designed so it has somewhat of a counter?

Appearance, movement, power, the whole “needle heroin-esque junkie” vibe, Nothing about Blight appeals to me... think the name is silly, too.
Haven’t heard anyone else with similar feelings, so I must have an unpopular opinion on him.
He could end up having good sounds or chase music or sth like that, idk, maybs I’ll like those when I hear them. Doesn’t even have his own map, that’s always gonna take points off.
Wasn’t excited about the idea of him as a killer when his character was first introduced into the lore an ppl were speculating he could possibly be playable in DBD as a survivor or killer.
... perks are good, perhaps too good.
overall, Blight’s meh.
More licensed killers/survivors pls
More maps pls... MAPS!
More worthwhile survivor perks pls
Yeah because doing heroin definitely makes you sprint at superhuman speeds. Definitely doesn't knock you on your ass into a stupor.
-
I need to see the changes first. If they are good then I'm at a 7-8 because I like his concept and visual design. Good perks, too.
