Your idea is interesting too, btw!
-
I like how that one mobile DBD knock off by Netease does it. The first couple of gens take longer to complete. Not sure the exact numbers or if it still works like that because I haven't played in a long time, but I remember thinking it was a pretty good compromise rather than just making all gens take longer.
-
Just make sure you have three competent friends to play with ❤️
-
This is fake, Trapper would never take a mirror selfie!
-
That's an interesting idea. I'd like to see it tested.
One thing I'd like to point out is that if you keep holding the recover button, even when you can't make any more progress, you don't get the idle crows.

They wont drag a lot if you spam fast actions on a locker and suicide on first hook the moment you hear their TR theme.
Ohhh, new survivor meta! Can't wait

When was there a lady narrator?

That build is not so great for aura reading unless you puke on him from second 1, Lethal consumes 1 token and thats it, if you puked on him the stacks would be chomped on less than 20 seconds, you cant regain them that fast to overcome the nonstop vomit reveal, which is the problem with Distortion, the effect is great but we are so used to only having to deal with BBQ than we forget how fast other aura reveal things trigger.
Myers with the "Reveal aura at EW1/EW2" can eat the 4 stacks in no time and it isnt the only thing, Undying, Darkness Revealed, Nurse's Calling etc.
Lethal is now 11 seconds so it consumes 2 tokens.

Am I being stupid or did i not put that in the title and post.
You did lmao
-
They should have an unpaid intern whose sole job is to monitor Ghost Face's chase music with every patch
-
Getting full second long freezes on ps4 lately that I haven't seen in some time.
-
It's become clear the devs are not creating challenges for our enjoyment, but to basically force you to play more games and boost their numbers. I think I might skip the next tome.
-
People got their feelings hurt by "displeased."
-
What a disgusting post.
-
These aren't really comparable. But I wouldn't give a single ######### if they removed the notification for survivors.
-
I think I remember Peanits saying they did it and they've been promoted. So maybe they're too busy to do it now?
-
The fact that they're not responding about this makes it pretty clear they have either made next to no progress on this or they're scrapped the idea altogether.
-
No thanks

I don't understand how this is going to help HoH/Deaf players, since most of us only have hearing issues, not visibility issues.
I feel like making it only work with LOS defeat the whole point again and the indicator of the terror radius being strong or not wont help with anything, since we can use your vision to see if the killer is far away or not...
It literally makes no sense whatsoever. The devs are so adamant on "changing the meta" that they will completely destroy this perk regardless of feedback
-
Okay so the perk is back to being terrible, I guess.
-
If you don't like it you can simply not run it.
-
It's likely not coming anytime soon, if at all
-
They are adding some clarifying info here and there and showing some clips. But yeah this seems more for people who don't want to read patch notes
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
Just as an information:
They just said on-stream that it will not work on Line of Sight, but it will work on Terror Radius. So if you would hear a Terror Radius, Spine Chill activates when the Killer is looking at you.
So stealth Killers which are Undetectable will not be affected by it, every other Killer will be affected, even if you dont have Line of Sight on them.
Much better change
-
They want to reduce that grind because they know old players are getting pissed and new players feel overwhelmed, but they don't want to reduce the grind TOO much. The logic of "we don't want BP to dictate what perks people use" sounds like nonsense tbh.
I guess that means they'll be removing BP bonuses from all the other perks and add ons that include them as well? Such as Distressing, Prove Thyself, No One Left Behind, Padded Jaws, etc, etc, etc
-
Those mobile skins are for the Chinese version of DBD mobile. We will likely never see them in the main game. Why? Who knows. Maybe Netease makes easy money for Bhvr so they give them exclusivity

The interesting part is, it may actually be beneficial to have longer scratch mark durations.. provided they are distorted. Which is what Lightweight will now do.
Ohhh, interesting. I hadn't considered that
-
Yeah I assumed it was a typo because it wouldn't make any sense otherwise lol

They could at least reduce the price the more characetrs and perks are in the game,
for example why should I get a survivor if I have 2 of their perks and only need to see 1 in the shrine?
you spend 4000 IS or 3000 IS in shrine to unlock 2 perks,
and the character still costs 9000 IS,
- if I just get the perks from shrine instead of buying the character survivor I can save half as much
- 1500 x 3 = 4500 and that is half of 9000 IS
I wouldn't say for some people the grind can be hard but for others it can,
and the prices,
again... why should I get survivor if I could just get their perks from shrine and put them on my main character?
and spend half as much IS than compared to if I bought the character..
Perks in the shrine are currently on sale. They usually cost 2000 or 2700 shards (if they're new).

Its ok fi you dont feel attacked, but the gesture of teabagging was invented and designed to humiliate and insult defeated opponents. It doesn´t originate in dbd, but it was adepted.
The teabagging person means to be insulting and disrespectful, and thats why a lot of people react to that. Its the intention that counts.
I know a poc that don´t care about racial slurs, but i know a lot do. Disrespect is disrespect, no matter which form it takes to express itself.
Edit: Nvm
-
I thought you only get bonus emblem XP for your highest emblem. So if you got 4 iridescent you only get one 18 XP bonus, not 18 for each emblem.
I may be wrong about that.
I do think there should be more consistent ways to earn IS but I kind of doubt the devs will touch that anytime soon. They'll keep giving some away for log in rewards and doing the occasional XP boost events but until the game starts to really die I don't think they'll meaningfully change the IS grind.
-
I believe it says they spawn after a survivor completes a gen or the killer gets a hook. Not sure if you have to be the survivor or killer with the challenge equipped to get them to spawn when completing those actions, tho.
-
The devs want to shake up the meta but will leave Nurse busted forever.

Not as obnoxious as 4 dead hards which I went against in one of my matches
Cool story. You don't think killers never DC against Dead Hard? Players DC against strong or unfun builds/characters. News at 11.
-
Many consider your killer and build obnoxious to play against.
-
That sucks
-
The yellow glyph is fun as something to do once in a while .. not every gen or even every game.
-
Yeah it's a braindead rework of the perk.

Moving forward, Decisive Strike will now deactivate once the Exit Gates are powered.
Exit gates powered is when the last gen is completed or the hatch being closed. DS doesn't deactivate by touching the exit gate because it wouldn't be active to begin with.
Opening an exit was added to the list of what is now called Conspicuous Actions.
Edit: sorry, never mind. I misunderstood what you meant. I guess that only applies to Off the Record then
-
Shadow buff/nerf means the devs changed something behind the scenes and purposefully did not include the change in patch notes. Perks becoming stronger because of overall game mechanic changes are not shadow buffs.
-
@Mr_K said:
Besides being disabled endgame, it's the same as it is now. The unfortunate change is the 3s stun time.
Opening an exit gate added as well. I assume that means DS is deactivated as soon as you begin opening an exit.
Edit: whoops - this actually won't matter because DS deactivates when exit gates are powered anyway.

If the Ruin nerf was "fair" CoH would deactivate after so many heals have been given.
That's a completely reasonable nerf IMO

Because it's not an incompetent decision? Like, yes, it is a shame that two neat perks were made slightly less useful overall since a new mechanic hard counters them, but like... who actually gives a damn about Resurgence and Solidarity? They already weren't run, so it didn't have a huge effect on them.
I completely, 100% agree with the statement "I think Resurgence and Solidarity should be changed next so they fare better against new hemorrhage", because that's reasonable. I cannot begin to understand the attitude behind the statement "they should've ignored the pressing concerns of the current meta to address two random perks basically nobody uses, and not doing that is incompetence".
Again, I agree they're due for a change, but so are fifty other perks that haven't been addressed yet.
The hemorrhage change came out of nowhere. It was not a pressing issue and could have easily been delayed and launched at the same time they changed Resurgence and Solidarity. Instead, they went forward with the hemorrhage change and then proceeded to work on 39 other perks.
I'm not going to keep arguing with you, though. Agree to disagree.
@CharlieChatBox said:
I get that solidarity is a total joke, but people think Resurgence is a joke? It goes really well those last 8 charges in a yellow medkit and overcome. I know its nowhere close to A tier, but its still a C+. Passing, albeit barely. It does things unlike solidarity, poised, left behind, buckle up, etc etc.
Resurgence heals you 50% when the killer hooks you, if you are affected by hemorrhage, you lose all that progress while sitting on the hook.

I imagine they'll get buffed eventually. Maybe they'll be in the next patch to contain balance changes, maybe not.
They have to start somewhere. Perks that got made slightly worse by interacting unfavourably with a new mechanic could be argued to be of a high priority, but certainly not higher than addressing the slowdown meta.
It's my argument that the somewhere they should start is not changing a game mechanic that makes weak perks even weaker without compensating those perks. I don't really understand how you can defend the incompetence of these decisions.

Oh, I see what's being said here.
...Ehhh? I mean, if you're hit with that status effect, sure, but not every killer is running that every match.
They are already non meta perks and Bhvr made them even worse lmao. How's that for shaking up the meta

Yea... I don't know why they didn't changed Buckle Up, Vigil, This is Not Happening, Left Behind, Hex: Huntress Lullaby, and the other over 50+ weak perks in one patch...
Warning: Sarcasm text detected.
The difference being they have already buffed a lot of the perks you just mentioned and just killed Resurgence and Solidarity.
