And I just want to add an honorable mention for McLean. He's the runner up.

I kind of hate that this is a topic but also she is very cute and so are all the people who have appeared on the stream. None as cute as Horvath, of course. He is dreamy.
-
It's a bad joke at this point. They failed cert. Probably twice. Please get your ######### together, Bhvr.
-
It's cute how someone supposedly so sick and tired of these topics spends more time in these topics that most of the people actually complaining. I mean, you could just not click the topic but here you are, day in and day out.

I'm sure there will be plenty of chat bans.

I'm assuming they check your IP address. They surely have access to that information.

I LOL'd.Scgamecock86 said:Be patient it will come 8-) and positive -
Honestly if you're just going to make useless comments like "be patient" or "be positive" then don't bother saying anything. Nobody reads that and thinks, "Gee whiz, I never thought of that!" Being patient doesn't have to mean sitting silently in the corner thinking, "La la la, waiting is a-okay with me!" It's possible to voice criticism and not be unreasonably impatient. There's a difference between speaking out because you're frustrated and being a nasty troll. There's no need for the constant tone policing.

I laugh every time I see a comment flagged. Like, why? (Unless it's legitimately breaking the rules)

@TeambossFloze Get out of here with your "conspiracy theory" crap. Nothing I said comes even close to the level of a conspiracy. I made it clear that I think they simply did not plan or take consoles into consideration.
-
@TeambossFloze They said so themselves in their non update about the certification process that they wanted to do something special for the anniversary. They spent their effort ensuring that happened for PC and didn't put thought into what they would do for the console. For instance, to let the console in on the anniversary fun they could have pushed out an update that featured only the Clown and survivor (and removed our shard cap). Since the big sticking point around here seems to be "It's delayed because it involves the store and the update is so large" then why not break the update into two? That way the console gets to have something fun for the anniversary AND we get to rack up shards for the store once it hits 2-3 weeks later.
I'm not saying they were thinking "How can we screw our console players?" I'm saying they weren't thinking. -
It's not a mistake. It was a deliberate choice by the devs to sacrifice the console community so the PC players could have something "special" for the anniversary. And the reason they had to make that choice is either poor planning or a disregard for half their community. Maybe both.TeambossFloze said:Christ are people not allowed to make mistakes anymore. The delayed release is unfortunate and wont happen again. They will learn from mistakes and people can stop overreacting. Its not like there are a million other games to play whilst you wait patiently for the update to hit console. Who cares if its hit pc first - means jack all, ######### hits pc before anything else constantly and you know the reasons why that is. -
I'm confused.. so you're saying camping is fun? Or none of it is fun?SovererignKing said:BBQ was made to facilitate the Survivors demands in the first place.
1. Incentivize not camping.
2. “Chase Survivors all game, because that’s what’s fun.”
Number 2 was, however, nothing more than a giant lie Survivors tossed at the developers. Them saying “it’s what is fun” was only because they knew how ultra powerful they were as Loopers. They knew if the Killer didn’t camp, thier chance of winning dramatically increased as easy hook saves and massive amounts of Looping meant an easy win.
They got what they asked for already. Now that the developers are finally making a move on them being overpowered, they are suddenly singing this “BBQ OP” tune. Looping is still plenty strong enough that BBQ is a balanced perk. If the Survivors want BBQ changed to no Aura Reading, they best prepare for some more nerfs to Looping. Other than that, it stays as it is.
I love how you create this narrative and make it seem like survivors are some monolithic being that is duping the devs. -
I won too!! Wish I could spend them tho....Well_Placed_HexTotem said:I probably wouldn’t have been able to stop myself from buying the shirtless David. Luckily I won some auric cells during the tourney. -
Is the shop going to be more expensive on console? All the dlc is a dollar more.
-
Don't forget the unhook lag that lasted how long? Countless games lost because nobody could escape the basement. Game was pretty much unplayable. They barely acknowledged it and certainly didn't offer any compensation.
-
Xbox and PS4 are DBD's ugly step children.
-
Why do the mods continue to allow this guy to troll? Like what do you have to do to get suspended around here?
-
Lol that said "end your own life" in different words that are apparently not allowed on these forums.
-
I'm assuming you can ######### on the hook, though?
-
What's the point in making this comment? You're just trolling. I actually don't do that because it's a waste of time and I'd be better served putting more distance between me and the killer. And regardless the amount of progress made in that tap is nothing.. you'd lose like 2%.RemoveSWF said:You can't drop a pallet and then scratch your balls with Self Care while waiting for the killer to break it?
Be honest, you didn't care about the 1% progress you made anyway, you just wanted to grief him.

@TheChanelOberlin Why are you in jail?

No. Spelling is separate from grammar.Silas said:@brokedownpalace @Wolfy
Class, take a seat.Grammar:
The study of the way the sentences of a language are constructed; morphology and syntax. The way you structure a sentence depends heavily on the correct spelling of words. Think of it like this... You are lying down bricks as you build a house. The house is the overall sentence and the bricks are words. If you place a chunk of Styrofoam in place of a brick, it will throw off the entire foundation of the house thus hindering its overall structure.
The fact you guys don't know this is incredibly ennoying.

-
What? That's irrelevant. They teach history in grammar schools too. Is history grammar? Look up the definition.SenzuDuck said:@brokedownpalace said:
That's spelling, not grammar.Do you think Grammar schools only teach punctuation or something? Lol.

Where's the rage?Nick said:Read the other posts before raging on the general forums please.

Why do you feel the need to preface almost every single one of your posts with "As a survivor main.." We get it, dude. You post all the time, you're a survivor main who favors killers in nearly every regard.weirdkid5 said:As a Survivor main who has used Sprint Burst since Day 1, I approve of this change. It makes it so you cannot get clutch sprints anymore, you have to earn them by stopping occasionally.
Self Care change is also awesome, no more freedom from nonsense. Feels good m8.
What was the DS change? -
Then make it a certain distance they need to move, like with crows. Can be longer than 30 seconds.
-
If they're going through with this change they should make it so with Vigil you can recover from exhaustion while running in addition to its current effects.
-
We already know we can't always rely on heartbeat. Freddy, Myers, Wraith, Hag + M&A. Billy's and Nurse's heartbeat can be very sudden, too.
We can also very quickly identify many killers without seeing them. Michael gaining a level of EW, Wraith uncloaking nearby, Trapper and Hag's traps and their noises, Billy and LF's chainsaw noises or one hit downs. Etc.
I just don't see this as a necessary change. Knowing it's the Pig really doesn't make me play any differently.. you still need to work on gens. Almost every match I can tell who the killer is in the first 30 seconds. -
Well that's her power, so that makes sense.
-
This game already does a lot of hand holding when it comes to alerting players of certain effects. If you forget the mori then that's on you. Sometimes I forget to put traps on survivors as the Pig. That's my mistake and I don't think the game should notify you if you're making a mistake.
-
There's also a good chunk of people who troll in any online forum.
-
Because for some reason people invest a lot of emotions in this game. And some people feel the need to identify strongly with either survivors or killers and feel personally victimized by perceived imbalances/unfairness/arguments they disagree with.
-
Feel free to take another 2 week break from the forums. "Oh no! There's two threads about the console delay. This place can't function without me, me, me!"weirdkid5 said:Wow I'm away for 2 weeks and this is what the forum turns in to? I cant leave for a minute and this place turns into Reddit 2.0
First of all, yes these processes can take several weeks. For one thing, a patch is NOT guaranteed to get through certification. For instance, since the consoles are ports, there could be problems that persist there that do not make it on PC. Or there may be problems such as memory leaks. This can cause the patch to fail cert and push it back, forcing them to fix it up more.
This is the problem F13 had for a long time and it's a problem unoptimized games have. The unoptimized part is BHVR fault, but the strict processes the consoles have? That's entirely on MS/Sony. If you're seriously this livid about some content, I've got 3 pieces of advice for you.
1. Find another game to occupy your time. Others exist.
2. Buy a PC.
3. Understand you cant always get what you want when you want it, and that everything is going to be ok, seriously, the world WILL keep spinning.
-
6-7 months, probably
-
Because a lot of the time the connection looks fine in the lobby and then suddenly every time the killer is near you and you're at a pallet or a window the lag spikes.
