Well here's the thing the risk involved is a bureaucratic loop where one side says check the other side to see if its ok, and the other side says check the other side to see ok, they don't seem to care about it and there has been no history of people being banned for modifying perk icons so go for it
just find some fun ones to use, also addon and power packs to exist and you can make your own so just find what you want or make it yourself with only a little bit of practice

Maybe have it be something at a cost to be able to get rid of zombies more easily
my thoughts are
if you pallet stun a zombie (while not contaminated) you can reset the pallet at the cost of being contaminated and giving nemesis his power, if you get attacked by a zombie (while contaminated and healthy and not in chase) the zombie latches on to you for 2 seconds then you throw them off and they die but at the cost of you becoming injured, and you don't get a pallet reset unless you are not contaminated that way you are incentivized to cleanse and can still kill zombies but somewhat less efficiently by trading a health state

Because you can't use your power. There's a difference between overcoming problems and having problems that can't be overcame. On Hawkins, you're basically just Trapper without traps.
Before we continue what is your experience with blight, something like about how many matches or how many lethal rush hits you have even just a screenshot of blight addon inventory would probably do
-
I mean its a decent addon and all but wraith does have some better options
bone clapper + most any other addons but ghost can work decently
coxcombed clapper + ghost
shadowdance (either) + serpent
uncloak speed removing 0.24, 0.3, and 0.36 seconds from uncloak time is pretty good
windstorm making you move 5,7.5,10% faster
then all the way down past them we have all seeing, its mostly just a nice addon for information or rounding out a build but its pretty far from being extremely strong, and the downside is you have to be cloaked so no hitting survivors hopefully giving them a chance to react

If you really think wraith is overpowered, you need to get better at playing survivor.
Don't fall for sluzzy posts they are pretty much dbd clickbait posts where they just find some popular opinion and say the opposite, and while it used to be pretty funny they over did it, take what they say with a grain of salt

No he can't. There are too many things in the way for it to be viable.
Why would I let that stop me, I didn't let him being 2 inches tall stop me, I didn't let bad collision on the ptb stop me, I didn't let the change to attack sensitivity stop me, so why should some boxes and doorways not be a hurdle to conquer since ive already been through worse.

There are still lot of objects in the way so he still suffer, just not as much as the other mentioned.
Nurse: Just so many line of sight blocker so even those who are good nurse struggle.
Huntress & Trickster: Line of sight, plenty of room
Billy: Can't really use his power at all
Trapper: You deserve to get trapped if you walk on his trap. Too much contrast with the ground and unlike Leri the map has much more light.
Bubba: There are plenty of pallet (most fairly week but still) forcing his to M1 more often than you wish. And plenty of object that will slow down any players who aren't perfect with his hitbox
Blight: Plenty of objects in the way and it's not easy to enter/exit room while using his power.
Obi: Unlike Billy he can get the 1hit while using his power but like Blight there are plenty of objects in the way plus the door so he won't be able to run as much.
Its not easy but you can practice on the map as blight, learn areas where your power can cut chases short just like the other maps, sure its harder to convert hits and there are deadzones for rushing but you can learn and improve still, its not a hard map but its still better than many of the other one's for me
blight much like nurse still have potential on the map its just harder to be good to the same level as other maps

Not blight, blight can still use his power on that map

in that case then it's 1 SWF and you're done. I think it should only flag people who are reported A LOT.
then just theorize a version that doesn't allow that
heres a theoretical
lets just say the threshold for the system is at 5 reports in a rolling 2 week period or 20 in a 3 month period, swf unless all 4 report the killer only counts as 1 grouped report, if all 4 players report it counts as 2 reports, once the threshold is reached the account is reviewed manually, if the manually reviewed account seems fine then the accounts that reported them are reviewed to make sure they are not abusing the system
-
all I think that the auto ban bot should do is mark people who are reported a decent amount over a short period of time then review them manually that way the workload of reading every single report is lowered but they still have some automation \
having a judge jury and executioner bot doesn't sound like the best idea

I don't see how dedicating an item to it is any better
50% of people don't bring items anyway and not having 4 perk slots seems to be a sour spot for you, its a win win

So you want to counter totems but not dedicate a perk slot to them

Okay, and Hex: Devour Hope used to notify survivors sooner that they were being affected by it, but it was later changed to keep it a surprise because survivors would swiftly hunt it down and cleanse it before the killer even got to 3 stacks, let alone 5.
Power Struggle (and No Mither) should get the same treatment.
No Mither lets you pick yourself up off the ground as many times as you can before bleeding out, but you start the trial injured, the killer knows you have it, and doesn't slug you. Power Struggle lets you stun the killer with a pallet while being carried and without needing a teammate, only if the killer doesn't know you have it and doesn't immediately pick you up, but stunning the killer tells them you have it and they will immediately pick you up.
----
If they do not remove Power Struggle's notification on the killer's end, then they may as well add "Can only be used once per trial" as a stipulation to the Power Struggle perk description.
Hex devour hope used to have a secondary effect that deemed notifying survivors because it slowed gen progression much like how thanatophobia and dying light currently warn survivors when they are slowing gen progression
and even then it still warns the survivors when it is used for its current effects and can be seen active pre-emptively
to give power stuggle and no mither the same treatment would be to keep no mither as it is since it already has a tell, and to make power stuggle have some indication before it is used something like your aura is revealed to the killer within 16/12/8 meters while in the dying state

Did I say I was owed it? "I want" doesn't mean "I am entitled to". The literal title of the thread is "Can we get..." not "I DEMAND REEE".
yea but all caps, 3 question marks, blaming the devs for working with what playerbase they have which is more survivors then killers
pretty strong words for not demanding it

People say this all the time, and if this is true, then the developers should have no trouble showing stats that support it. I want a statement from them that supports why it's been so bad.
and you are owed this from the devs because...?
-
Not enough killers, the total amount of players doesn't matter but if survivors outnumber killers 8 to 1 you average around a 10 minute long queue since there is an entire match worth of players ahead of you at all times
-
Personally I don't need any help from them, I could sit down and win matches without them, however I usually enjoy long matches and moving at my own pace, but if needed I can play a faster paced match with the survivors, for me its just a stop gap since they usually keep me playing less scummy then without since I don't need to worry about securing a win condition while they are up.

There is
-
Changes to bloodpoints triple the bp cap to 3 million, change the max bp in each category to 10k instead of 8k and increase all point scoring events by 25% so you still reach the caps at the same speed
Changes to offerings, double the effects of single category offerings and make them affect all players (killers respective category included) make all current 100% personal bonuses lobby wide and all lobby wide 100% bonuses 150% lobby wide bonus)
Changes to bloodwebs Increase the amount of perks at a max bloodweb to 6, amount of perks follow this pattern level 1-9, 1 perk, level 10-19, 2 perks, level 20-29, 3 perks, level 30-39, 4 perks, level 40-49, 5 perks, level 50, 6 perks
Changes to perks, perks can be individually leveled once their teachable is unlocked leveling up a perk this way increased its tier on all killers who have it and increases its tier when its found in bloodwebs, leveling a perk to tier 2 costs 20k bp and leveling a perk to tier 3 costs 25k bp
Changes to prestige, nothing is lost upon prestiging but the bloodweb is still reset to level 1

Yes I know the other arguments. wHAt AbOuT BoRRoWEd tImE AnD DS? theyRe OVeR poWerEd. Ds can be used one time. One time, and is a small skill check that is easy to miss. It targets killers who tunnel. Don’t tunnel = no ds. It’s easy to avoid. You don’t go after someone freshly unhooked. Borrowed time? Same thing. If you don’t tunnel it doesn’t matter, and it only offers one extra hit. Half the time hooks are in dead zones so one extra hit doesn’t help much. Two, again you shouldn’t go after someone who gets unhooked within ten seconds. That’s cheap.
now noed gives killers who are very bad at the game free kills. It offers no real risk value either. Borrowed time often makes people sacrifice themselves in case the killer decides to go after the unhooked. A risk. Noed literally makes killers too strong to make up for not being able to do their job earlier in the game. Yes ClEanSe toTemS—okay? You expect solo qued people to focus totems and not pressure gens? If the killer is trash he camps. Which means you have to gen rush leaving little time for totems. Also I should not have to bring multiple perks to counter another cheap ass play because a killer needs to be spoon fed kills
By the logic of its one time use or can be countered wouldn't that mean noed is just fine
it can be counted by having all totems cleansed and even if it activates its one time use since they only need to find a remove 1 totem
plus if you can bring niche scenarios into the argument wouldn't the inverse of arguments for niche bt and ds scenarios say both of those perks are broken as well
either way by this circular logic they are all either broken since niche scenarios exist, or they are all fine because they have counters / limited usage
-
Since you all were so nice so share your thoughts here's mine
Honestly I don't play spirit anymore unless I have a daily for her since her daily of use your power 4 times is one of the easiest in the game and leads for a quick match for some extra bp
however I don't always mind playing against a spirit since for some reason either I never face a spirit, or the spirits that I do face do weird things, like I just faced my first in a few months and they only phased like 3 times, and never in chase
-
I also enjoy oranges, they smell like orange
-
Nah they are just going to make their own fighting game, I think something along the lines of a 3d fighting game where you can rotate around your opponents, I can already see clown rolling bottles on the ground and oni readying his kanabo
-
Should have checked the steam profiles for name history since what might of happened is one of them knows how to see the steam accounts of all players in the lobby with steam wizardry and set their name to yours to call out the killers steam name in advance, why they do this is unknown or if this is an actual exploit or hack instead of just applied knowledge of using steam services
after some research it seems that it is more likely to be a third party client hack on one of the survivors ends, why they changed their name to yours is confusing though
-
I think 0 stacks is 3.86 and 30 stacks is 3.66, with a spectrum in between depending on how many stacks you have, but my guess is that since 8 stacks is max throw speed only stacks 9-30 add slowdown

Is learning hard? I wanna try him but also i scared. Nurse is already hard and takes my time
Learning varies based on 2 factors
either A improvisation skills, the better you are and more willing you are to try new and different things on the fly you can drastically increase effectiveness and learning speed but if you are either bad at it or not willing you will mess up power a lot or not improv enough and walk around too much scared to use your power
and B learning from others, many people already learned their own ways to run most tiles so learning from them can give you a big boost early on to knowing what to do as blight, so rather than both not know how to hit with the power and how to get into position to hit in a lot of cases you only now need to learn how to hit
-
Well, if you use myself for comparison, I lost my first 3 games as blight, and won around 98% of games afterwards (counting a win as a 4k or 3k with hatch keys don't exist)
-
too many activation requirements
maybe just change it to every time you heal a survivor gain a token and remove the final effect where 2 people having the perk just makes it useless
-
80/20 killer/survivor
as killer I mostly just play in response to the survivors,
a casual team who doesn't get much done = 12 hook game
both totems popped and slamming gens = go after 1-2 people and win any way
generally when playing killer I would play blight and he has the tools to win from almost any game state but its mostly in response to the survivor what tools I use.
-
Pyramid head, they simply don't do much of anything, ever
range addons give 0.5/1/1.5 meters extra range respectively or in other words 6.25% 12.5% or 18.75% longer, which for his most impactful addons are not much at all
and other addons just manage to be more and more underwhelming

Also, a reminder that for years, Spirit’s duration add ons have been glitched and also give a bonus of a much faster recovery. She’s disgustingly strong in every way.
Simple but wrong answer, they are just janky to begin with,
rather than just decrease the power consumption in charges/second they both increase the max amount of charges and the recovery speed to make it take the same amount of time to recharge while still allowing for longer power duration
the overall recovery is not faster it takes the same amount of time for a full usage of power to recover with and without duration addons
it is not a faster recovery its just poor coding but it works well enough
-
Blight, he has the most potential out of the two and is much more fun, since he provides you with extremely strong tools that you can use in fun and creative ways
Trickster just throws knives, its basically huntress but less interesting

Oh my, that sounds very powerful on him actually, thank you very much!
Does he run until you collide with something or cancel it when you activate his rush? As in, can I traverse the entire map with 1 Rush if I don't hit anything in the way??
when he rushes he rushes for 3 seconds, or until he bumps something whichever comes first, and when he bumps you have a 1.25 second window to move a little bit and rush again or wait and cancel out of power
-
Blights best builds take advantage of his mobility, perks that give information to act upon and gen slowdown based on pressure are your best bet, since you can be in two places at once
my goto build is ruin undying tinkerer bbq, for information you can act on and game slowdown
more info eventually
-
spinechill go brr
-
In my opinion with about 5ish hours spent on him, he isn't terrible but is rough around the edges, and the fact that he can cheese hits at certain spots and loops where other killers can't makes him slightly better than the worse/worst killer/s in the game
-
when you are asleep he has no terror radius, instead it is replaced with a lullaby, like huntress but instead of having a lullaby and a terror radius, freddy only ever has one or the other, when you are awake it charges because you hear a terror radius, when you are asleep it doesn't charge because you don't hear a terror radius you only hear and have a lullaby, they are both seperate things but diversion only counts terror radius.
don't think this is a bug
-
The problem with a survivor perk that interacts with breakable walls is that it is both highly varied and game winningly strong on 19/35 maps it can be abused for multi use strong god windows, and 11/35 of those maps are on there because they don't have breakable walls meaning on 19/35 maps its really strong, 11/35 maps its worthless, and 5/35 maps its just ok / niche
on maps with breakable walls that create god windows you get to use that breakable wall up to 13 times groaning storehouse god window, coal tower window, Thompson house windows, suffocation pit window, rancid abattoir windows, torment creek, cowshed, gashaven, wrenched shop, midwich, family residence, Ormond, dead dog, its like adding 3 extra god pallets to 19/35 maps just by bringing a single perk throw coordination or map offerings into the mix and its just downhill from there

I appreciate all the information and advice but to be fair I'm a relatively new player, it would seem odd to have to know all of this in order to not be jumped by a killer that I run from before he's even visible. I've had people tell me "stay by vaults" and "always have your back to a wall", as if I can always control such things. I've also had others tell me to use Premonition and Spine Chill, and I can understand why they'd say that, but I don't otherwise find those perks all that great so it would seem like a waste to use half my slots just in case I happen to wind up facing one specific killer. And if it's anything that bugs me, it's just the simple fact that he didn't used to be like this. I found him to be a fair challenge like many of the other characters. I didn't think that he was low tier, I thought he was fine. I saw him win games, I saw him lose games. Now I see him win constantly. It's almost a guarantee that he'll be smacking people within the first ten or fifteen seconds of the game. It just seems a bit much. I'm fine with balancing and don't make a habit of complaining that the game is unfair, I just think that they've given him too much of an advantage (or perhaps too many advantages). I still don't know if his no longer needing to ring the bell is a glitch or a perk, but if it was intentional then to me that's basically the equivalent of taking away, say, the Doctor's terror radius. I mean the player should have SOME warning beyond merely a brief glint of blur if they happen to be looking in the right direction or far enough from a generator to hear him breathing.
Now, again, I'm trying to be fair: Someone who's more experienced at the game and / or better at looping wouldn't have the same problem, or at least it would be less of one, so I readily admit that some of this is on me. But I just simply didn't have these issues with the Wraith only a couple of weeks ago. I guess maybe at the end of the day what I'm saying is this: When I can tell that Nurse is the opponent in a match, I smile. When it's Wraith, I roll my eyes in exasperation. So I'm either doing something really right or really wrong. :P
Well a few things
First in terms of premonition and spine chill or premonition or spinechill, never use both since its a waste to have both at the same time, and always use spinechill as it doesn't have a cooldown and provides a marginal bonus of vault speed, and is nice against stealth killers and perks that provide intermittent stealth
Second, There are many killers in the game that are faster than blight and can be on survivors sooner, blight and billy both rock a 230% speed power for base kit that can traverse the map in seconds, and spirit has her phase walk, all from the get go, not only do they move faster so they can find survivors faster but they can also use their power in a chase. This is wraiths counter balance where while he can find survivors decently and surprise them he doesn't have a chase power that is useable and thus cannot commit to chases like other killers to remain productive, so in my eyes wraith is like a side grade / downgrade to the better killers in the game almost at all times
Third, if a wraith is uncloaking without hitting his bell he either has an addon that makes the bell silent and you can't hear him it it, or has the serpent addon which uncloaks him if he breaks anything or damages a generator
I have had some of my best games and chases against wraith pre update and post update. But usually the key is just to bring a strong perk or two that provides a leg up against some killers and a clear advantage over others, just suggesting to try and slot spine chill into a build and keep more of a comparative mind with other killers since while he is "easier" he doesn't have the same tools and his tools have stronger counters.

First, if I did offend you, I am going to go ahead and apologise, so let's continue our discussion.
Okay so version 2.5.0: The fully regress generator turns yellow for 16 seconds, which tells me that the gen is fully regress.
Change log patch 2.5.0 says that the generator will glow yellow whenever someone touches it for 16 seconds but leaves out the "turn yellow when fully regressed" description out of the perk
While Trivia says If a Generator regresses completely to 0 %, the Aura will turn red again, not yellow.
Either is a bug or the dev forgot to add "Generators turn yellow when fully regress for 16 seconds" part ouf it. Hmm, there is a possibilty that hte perk went back to the old 2.5.0, but I might be wrong.
In anycase, I'll have to get used to it for now and see if the dev fix the bug, or wording, on the meantime.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2181678#Comment_2181678
I am going to ask you not to disrespect other players, my guy lol. Were trying to have a normal conversation here.
Heres my approximation,
When the gen reaches 0% something is causing regression to be marked as interrupted as if it was done by a survivor since before this update if a gen reached 0% it simply turned red but a few updates before it the gen turned white even at 0% which was considered a bug.
That leaves the question did they actually fix it properly then, and their fix has encountered a problem, did they fix it properly now and every thing before was a bug

You're not a moderator, so your opinion frankly doesn't matter to me. Editing screenshots so that they fit one's argument is disingenuous and I'll stick to that.
Patch 4.3.0 20 October 2020
Generator Terminology changes and clarifications
on this update the descriptions of multiple gen related perks were rewritten so they all had a more general scheme all relating to the clarifying of effects
it still had the effect from 2.5.0 as it has today, the words were merely changed in 4.3.0 for further clarification and uniformity meaning even though there are ~3 different words, it had the same effect
that cropped screenshot that I stole from google is pre 4.3.0, its not edited its just old outdated wording with the exact same effect
