any tips and best builds for him?

  • You can turn 90 degrees during the dash and another 90 during your lunge.

My build is Bamboozle, Tinkerer, Ruin and Pop Goes the Weasel.

  • A big thing I learned real quick is to know when not to use your power. Trying to do a fancy move and get a Rush hit at a difficult tile instead of just playing it normally can lose you way more time than you save.

He's also got crazy mobility, so perks that play to those strengths are very, very good on him.

We've all felt the terror of a Ruin Undying Tinkerer blight before.

  • you can turn 90 degrees, there was an exploit called Jflick which allowed you to flick 180 degrees but it unfortunately got patched. But there is a new technique called Zflick which still allows you to turn 180 degrees, search it up it can be really helpful. Tinkerer and BBQ are really good perks on him, you can choose which others you want, I'd recommend Ruin and Undying.

Basically this. Use his power sparingly at first to get around. As you get a feel for it, you will NOT question when you can use it to cut a chase shorter. As you get good at that, you will start to just naturally feel when you can intercept someone during a rush to hit them with a drive-by "GET OFF MY LAWN".

The basic Blight build is BBQ, Ruin, Undying, and Tinkerer. This is a very strong build on him, though people won't be thrilled to see it. Eventually, however, you can move on to making the build a bit more aggressive, rather than reactive. Enduring and Spirit Fury can be swapped in allow you to very aggressively follow through pallets. Respect nothing, hit everything, and when the pallet stun does nothing, proudly scream your disdain for door-to-door salesmen as you club them down with your geriatric support device.

Also, when you hook the final Survivor, don't forget to faceplant into the hook they are on 5 times. Maximum bonk.

  • what does undying do?

    what does undying do?

It means that the first hex totem they cleanse will always be Undying, so it gives you an extra bit of value out of Ruin, as they need to cleanse a second totem, which might take them time to find it. Without Undying you will get games where Ruin is cleansed in less than a minute.

Undying prevents Ruin from being cleansed first. This will allow you more time to be aggressive rather than worry about defending your hex totem.

Cool didn't know that:) wish I knew this before

  • Infectious Fright is also really good on Blight, I feel he can use it better than most other Killers, as you can use your power to get into someone's face very, very quickly

    Awesome

  • You need to start taking note of what objects he collides with and how and which objects he doesn't collide with from certain angles or at all. This will help you develop strategies to use your power around that.

Get used to playing him without any addons, since addons really change the way his power works and usually are quite powerful.

Learn how to control your camera bump detection vertically. You can sometimes avoid hitting an object you're trying to navigate around by looking up or down, so then you can flick around it with your lunge.

On a lot of loops, you can turn during your rush, then right at the edge of the object, turn 90 degrees towards the loop, this will make you turn almost 160 degrees.

If you're on pc remember you can flick your mouse multiple times during a lunge, meaning you can chain together multiple 90 degree turns. On console you can do the same with max sensitivity and pressing the trigger multiple times during the lunge while holding the stick in the direction you wanna turn. This is massively useful against small/medium round rocks and other objects.

You can use slippery shack to your advantage by pre turning during your lethal rushes. You'll be able to get around the shack in ways survivors don't expect, and if you flick at the right time, you can go into shack door from the window side, it's pretty nutty.

  • I would recommend BBQ, Infectious Fright, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Discordance. He does not need chase perks like other killers may. His power removes pallets.

    Ok ill try these

  • Getting plenty of sleep is recommended since blights muscle memory in my experience forms best when you are well rested

  • I'd say watch some good blights on twitch to see how they play. Bump logic is more important than flicks. Bump logic is what objects you intend to bounce off of to get to your destination. Being able to efficiently use bump logic to navigate means that you get places faster with fewer bumps and that is what lands you hits with your power. Once you feel like you've become decent with your bump logic then you can start working on flicks, which is how you can maximize the effective area that you can swing and hit when attacking out of rush.

  • His blood favor perk is thee best
