Guards cannot instadown a survivor in any way, the closest you get is with a double hit from the guard and yourself (and god does it feel GOOD when you pull it off, specially when its frame perfect)
Like mentioned earlier, any perk that requires Basic Attack WONT work for the guards, such as NOED.
Spirit Fury: Doesnt work for the guards, the perk only counts if you are the one breaking the pallet directly.
Gen Kicking Perks: Same as above, kicking gens with the guards wont apply the effects of the perks.
Regarding the Guards themselves, each one has different perks:
Carnifex: Hunts double the time than the others, and breaks stuff considerably faster (almost instantly).
Assassin: Moves faster on the hunt, and when hitting a healthy survivor it will apply deep wound on them.
Jailer: Has a considerably bigger detection radious, and patrols for a longer time.

We got skins not that long ago, we dont need constant RE skins, i say this as an RE fan.
Let other IPs get some room, we dont need another Feng situation.

what is the problem? In 100 games, how many Blights do you face? There are more than 30 different killers and each player uses different combinations of perks and accessories.
The survivors already disconnected from the nurse, they cried for the merchant, they complained about Freddy (by the way, almost no one uses it)
and now they are going to cry for a Blight? Learn to play or consider not entering public games anymore
Nurse is straight up broken by design, at least the last nerfs she got managed to make it considerably harder to play.
You are NOT defending old Skull Merchant now are you? she was so unbelievably obnoxious and boring to go against that she had to get a rework to her power, even a freaking PRO team took nearly an hour to beat one that was hardly trying.
And regarding Freddy, his addons made him an absurd slowdown killer, dont forget how everyone referred to him as "Forever Freddy" for this reason, now is he in a good state? no, but he wasnt any better before.
Blight design isnt even close to the same level of stupidity as either Nurse or SM, but his addons are, in no way a killer that BASEKIT can compete with Nurse of all killers should get arguably among the strongest addons in the game as well.
-
Clown isnt a killer you can just buff, he has some busted addons and hes obnoxious to go against, if anything he needs a rework of sorts, cause outside of some really niche scenarios almost nobody uses the yellow bottles as well.
-
I feel it should only be used for tiny killers like Chucky, not needed otherwise.
-
They need to work on the loops if anything

What do you prefer?
Strong tracking perks that can make slower Killers able to keep finding Survivors and initiating chases without needing to rely on slowdown?
Or
Having every Killer bring 3-4 gen regression perks and winning games through attrition after 35+ minutes because they can't find anyone?
A reliable tracking perk that doesnt surpass every single other one by a big margin.

The CD is already effectively 60 seconds. It doesn't need a longer CD. The only thing that should be done if anything needs to be done is to shorten the active duration.
Thats another option

I mean sure, but then again you only get a bubble up and you might be like 30 m away, so you can just go hide? I don't like the blindness effect though and would not mind it getting removed, but other than that I think that tracking perks need to be somewhat strong, otherwise everyone will just run regression.
Thing is, they kinda overdid it with UW, it should at least have a longer CD or something, cause having this perk on something like Blight or Oni... yeah good luck hiding on time
-
Rapid Brutality requires you to lose Bloodlust completely which is a big downside
And Batteries Included will only really shine on the smallest maps like The Game, on bigger ones its gonna be mid at best, like Surge.
-
I hope they rework the entire thing, Remake Freddy just didnt do well at all, and it caused the license to be completely neglected as a result, doesnt help that its partially the reason that Bubba released so poorly as wel.

I promise you there is more than “hoping he’s not good.” Learn the counterplay. It’s there.
Less time spent giving up because you don’t like a killer that you can’t loop like a regular m1 killer… is more time spent becoming a more skilled survivor.
Shows us this amazing gameplay then, you against a good Blight using his strongest addons.
-
@HugTechLover said:
Instead of just giving up, how about trying to learn something from your matches against blight?
Learn some skills and counterplay against him.
Ah yeah, definitely felt i could do anything against his insta pallet break addon that DOES NOT drain his power at all and applies hindered to me to make it more fun....
Lets not forget Alchemist Ring as well.

@XshyguyX said:
Does this mean Hawkins is back?
yup, characters, skins and map, all back

Pure luck, not much really, you can bring whatever perks you want, but it fully depends on the killer bringing a Hex to begin with.
Bringing a map or Small game can help finding totems, but yeah, just luck

Not with trapper, but with female fast vaults. They are bugged and don't make as much distance as male survivors. Therefore, they land in different spots which means they might be missing the trap.
They still havent fixed that...

Classic bhvr move, they kill perks instead of a slight nerf, happened to Ruin too.
Ruin got it far FAR worse than MFT.
-
Remember Trickster is really unlikely to injure a survivor from afar, unlike Huntress or even Slinger, since it takes several shots (Even more now) to injure someone, rather than one hit, so him moving faster or having a bigger TR, hardly helps in that regard, it mostly helps him at looping, where he seriously struggled at tall loops.
Regarding the other stuff, we will have to see it first.

ok so i've reread this 3 times and i dont understand what this means
anyone able to lay out a scenario where MfT would activate with this?
MFT always gave an Endurance effect after healing someone, so thats when.
Theres also combos with DH for example.
-
@mca240 said:
For those saying MFT is no longer useful. Are you kidding me? People will combine OTR or DH with MFT. It will be the new meta and very good since MFT now works when deep wounded AND exhausted.
As for Trickster. I love the recoil being removed so people on controller can play him. But all the other changes sound very broken. We'll have to wait for the PTB though.
Also, poor Legion and Deathslinger players...
Yeah, but at least in more on the Killer's control now, rather than "oh dear, i smacked the survivor and now he gets a free permanent speed boost", DH can be baited and OTR is largely meant for anti-tunnel cause youre just a useless survivor otherwise if youre keeping it going.
Trickster will be interesting to see, the movement speed change is def welcomed.
But yeah, Legion and Trickster are gonna have it rough with the new version of MFT.

@Mavericks said:
From the survivor's side, playing against Blight is the most fun experience. But people keep complaining about him. Think about your mistakes against him
Certainly the fact that hes the second strongest killer only behind freaking Nurse, while having arguably the strongest addons in the game and an unfair tech has nothing to do with said complains....

Yeah its a necessary evil. Thing is other killers have techs that are way more impactful yet arent talked about nearly as much.
Trap Shoving (Which Im sure is completely unintended) and Xeno/Nemesis Drag Tech
You mean Trapper? well if youre healthy you can disarm the trap, and if he hits you, you just go trough him.
Dunno how you could fix that though.
-
Would be cool, but this game as a history with Frame Rate issues as it is, lets not make it worse.
-
Thats a problem with RNG, not the killer.
She cant hold 3 gens like she could before, not even close, shes basically a standard killer in that regard, like most.

Probably because he spends 90% of the gsme without it and it's far from his iconic look?
It's like asking why Leon's jacket and jeans from the start of RE2 remake isn't available, when he only wears it for the first 10 minutes of that game.
Pretty much, plus canonically, this attire isnt even official, its just something put together on a rush, which is why it simply looks like a bunch of wraps tabled around the body, rather than an actual suit, unlike the OG Nemesis.
Which emphasizes that its a prototype.

Shes not even that good at it anymore.

MFT, Adrenaline, Buckle up, Resilience, Dead Hard, FTP and WoO. Every match, it's always the same perks over and over and over and over over again. It's soooo BORING. Truly the most boring and lamest meta to ever exist in the history of DBD. MFT + Dead hard + WoO + Resilience = Infinite loops, wallhacks, speed and second chances. Buckle up + FTP is BROKEN OP slugging is completely nullified. Anti hook mechanic is coming soon and killers will lose yet another strategy but survivors will continue to make the game as stale as possible. Gens getting completed and rushed in less than 5 minutes. There is no way in hell you'll win as killer when you're mid-high MMR and playing against decent survivors.
Tbf, Resiliance and Dead Hard arent a problem, Res is only a problem due to MFT, which IS a problem on its own.
Adrenaline needs to not heal off hook, and it should not wake you up against Freddy
FTP + Buckle Up should just not work with each other.
WoO could use a CD.

I'm expecting to see her far less than the Twins. Glad the 3 gen got butchered but now you won't be seeing a Skull Merchant maybe only once in a millennium.
Doubt it, Twins is still a massive buggy mess on top of being one of the most niche killers.
-
Like mentioned already, its heavily reliant on the loop.
Shorter/Tall loops i would say its better to mindgame
But long loops or loops with no LoS blockers, its better to just brute force it.

so the iri seal of metatron is an iridescent addon for pyramid head and what it does is this
“When sending a Survivor to a cage of atonement, of all other Survivors suffering from Torment are revealed for 6 seconds.”
so the main problem with this addon is that it feels situational and you’re not always guaranteed to have survivors tormented in order to get value out of it but I think here’s a better rework for it
“When attacking a survivor by a dropped pallet with your punishment of the damned. The pallet is immediately destroyed”
I dont think this is a good idea with how stupidly strong PH is already at zoning.
-
Meh
-
Sorry but old Iron Will WAS a problem for the game, audio is extremely important, and having a perk that makes you permanently 100% silent while injured was a massive advantage.
People just underestimate it now due to how broken it was before, i use it every now and then and its surprisingly useful at mindgaming.
Also, you would be surprised at the rise in popularity of Calm Spirit lately.
-
Still not fixed uh? its the one challenge im missing...
-
One that comes to mind is Nurse's Calling, long ago it used to also work for things like Mending, Snap Out of It, Waking Up, etc.
Which made it a living nightmare on Doctor with impossible skillchecks (At the time Unnerving also affected the skill checks of Snapping out)

Bless you & quick draw both are painful when grinding
all killer adepts are easy just make sure don’t use their special attack more often when adepting , all you need is to down the survivor and hook them.
Quick Draw is the one about interrupting totems right? its actually really easy with Doc and a build centered around it, basically, full totems, and have his sniper addon, and just harass the totems every now and then, thats how i got it fairly quickly.
-
They killed Flashlights for this very reason, so a fix should be in the works.
-
Left for Dead and Evil Incarnate are definitely top.
Another would be Skilled Huntress (Specially the console version thats like 5x times)
-
@Deathstroke said:
Didn't they lessen a lot the amount of pallets in borgo? Well I don't still like it so fine.
That was a bug that spawned all the possible pallets, which yeah, completely made the map unplayable
-
@adaw0ng said:
I hope one day survivor’s score will be evaluated as a team, that’d push for more team oriented gameplay.
Or that yeah, i mean Iri Unbroken Emblem straight up requires you to escape with zero hooks, like bruh....
-
Never Sleep Pills are essentially the combo addon, alongside that other one that increases movement speed (forgot the name)
With this combo, if you arent dealing on a huge map, you are pretty much guaranteed to get a Frenzy down.
Also, Iri Button is pretty damn strong, if used alongside Julie's Mixtape and Enduring, you straight up have an anti pallet build, add Spirt Fury into the mix and pallets are essentially a non issue.
Anyway, Legion isnt meant to consistently get high combos, that would just be dumb, and it shows with the combo i mentioned earlier, the game just becomes boring for both sides.

and yet if they are so bad why are most of the killers in my games running them? unless u are running built to last (which in my region, i can count on 1 hand how many people i've seen run that), all items run out, bar bnp and syringe, which u get two uses out of (however i can acknowledge their strength)? i would also love if u could please also explain how flashlights don't need any explaining, because to me, and a large portion of the player base flashlights are considered the worst item in the game.
Do i really need to explain how devastating a flashlight save is for the killer?
Could mention how Pallet Blinds became considerably better with Light Footed, wasting the killer's time quite a lot, even more if they actually lose you.
Also, we're talking about 4 survivors, not one, so 1 toolbox can be 4, even 2 alone can be a problem, yeah they run out eventually, but their impact on the match can be big, this is specially true if used to repair an important gen quickly, which can easily take one chase.
Medkits can reduce the pressure the killer makes considerably (main reason they got nerfed to begin with).
And i already mentioned how Keys give you aura read on both teammates (permanently in the case of the obsession) and on the killer.
-
Tbf, half of these addons are so situational they arent even worth it, Knight is one of the best examples of it.
Also, most of these addons only apply Mangle or Hemorrhage, not both, and Hem is pretty bad on its own unless you keep harassing the survivor trying to heal.
Goes without saying that others addons are just better, easily outclassing these, i think Wraith and Huntress are the only ones you can make a case of about them being some of their better ones, but everyone else is just meh.
Worth mentioning, that while Killers have addons, survivors have items, which can be game changing, Toolboxes can greatly speed up repair speed, and dont get me started on BNP, Medkits allow survivors to heal themselves at a decent speed or outright heal themselves automatically with the Syringe, the Keys give you aura read on your teammates (essentially Bond) or even aura read on the killers, plus opening Hatch, or the ever popular Flashlights which dont need any explaining.
So yeah, you cant talk about how Killers addons can be a 5th perk, while survivors have items that themselves can be a 5th perk.
-
Not necessarily their first hook, but rather the first time they're hooked on a scourge hook.
But yeah, shouldn't activate more than once per survivors.

Oh, really?
The bug wasn't him not slowing down.
Yeah, but for successful attacks, the Movement Speed change for missed attacks was a nerf, which was essentially reverting it back to how it was in the PTB.
-
@Pulsar said:
Oh no! How awful! They fixed a bug that was making a Killer perform incorrectly, how will you ever survive?
That wasnt the bug.
-
Oh hell nah, we dont need that back again, it was awful against Doc
-
For your team? definitely, but yourself? depends, its nice to have these side objectives, it often makes you try new builds and items you dont normally use.
