Learn to play without Blight.
Many of his flicks are easy to dodge if you create the right situation. Unlike Oni, which has a huge hitbox
-
It's true. Matches abandon by survivors do not go to your kill counter.
-
It's stupid to force a killer to hang bots
-
Another killer losing his fun because some survivors didn't like the expression of skill? Great job bhvr...
-
Just take Distortion. What's your problem?
-
Please bring back old (PTB) Summoning Stone and Soul Chemical. The changes to these add-ons were completely unnecessary.

Certainly the fact that hes the second strongest killer only behind freaking Nurse, while having arguably the strongest addons in the game and an unfair tech has nothing to do with said complains....
Strong killers should be in the game. Many killer players just want to win all the time. On high mmr without these killers you will have hard games. The basic kit of the blight is in perfect order, if it is changed, the character will be broken / incapacitated. Some addons require a little reworking and everything will be fine.
-
From the survivor's side, playing against Blight is the most fun experience. But people keep complaining about him. Think about your mistakes against him
-
The patch is fine. Try repair gens
-
Survivors are ready to cry for any perk. This is an absolutely normal perk. Or do you want us to bring 4 slow perks to a match?
-

The funny thing is, since Pain Resonance knocks people off gens again, its combo with Merciless Storm is arguably stronger.
Where before, you'd have to go through the skill check gauntlet to avoid the gen being blocked. Now if this rare interaction happens, the gen will just be blocked outright. No chance to avoid it.
You're right. The fact is that a good killer will now benefit even more from the resonance of pain+DMS. Because the timer is only 30 seconds. It often happens when you quickly down another survivor and you need to wait reset 45 seconds cooldown, now you don't have to wait 10-20 sec and you can immediately hook up survivor
-
This once again confirms that the developers are not playing their game. The merciless storm + the resonance of pain is an extremely situational bundle, which even if it worked, nothing terrible happened
-
Only 5 weeks and we will see a bonus to bp. Maybe we can wait another year?

I agree. I have been playing solo queue survivor more now because the killer queues are so long. As soon as we load in a match, I see a DC because they hear The Legion's chase music, or hear The Nurse's shriek or see The Blight. If they don't DC, the kill themselves on first hook.
The biggest detriment to Solo Queue survivor are the teammates that DC or kill themselves first hook before they have a chance to be saved.
True. I don't hook survivors who give up, let them lie down and think about their behavior
-
People on this forum are talking about this game as if we are playing Street Fighter
-
It seems to me that many survivors liked to intimidate the killer and at the same time have time to repair the generators. Right now this is only possible against beginners
-
If you don't get tunneled and your team makes generators, you get out in most matches. Nothing changed for survivors
-
I see the survivors like it when the killers enter the match with 4 slowing perks🤣. Kill BBQ and these games will become even more frequent

You don’t seem to know what you’re talking about. Good survivors don’t counter hug tech. Hug tech can literally be applied to even the strongest loops like shack. And still, you have not answered my question. How will it make blight harder?? Answer the question.
Where speak was the complication? It will become easier to think about (you don't need to think about this hug) You will do standard rush logic and flick close. Of course, some loops will become more secure for survivors, but some of them are hard for both hugs and logic rushes.
And the good survivors oppose it, it's just that there aren't enough of them. When you understand that he will try to use this technology - you just go to the safe corner of the loop. Thanks to the moonrush and two speeds, good blights can have time to close you, the rest will not close. And again, not all textures can be closed through this technology.

umm.. what? You didn’t answer the question? Tell me how, when an exploit that allows the blight to skirt around a loop at superspeed gets removed.. will make him harder for survivors to play against. That makes no sense.
It is the problem of bad survivors that they are not able to understand when this technology will be applied. Hug tech only works when the survivor isn't expecting it or doesn't understand what's going on. Of course, through this technology it is convenient to bypass walls and block the path of the survivor, but this does not work everywhere.

Please explain how blight will be more lethal to survivors without hug tech.
Firstly, good survivors understand when the blight will use this technology, and secondly, the Blight will think less and apply the usual logic of bumps
-
@RatbasterdJr said:
Nurse - hold W and break line of sight. Mind game. Not too many people are great with nurse, and her blinks are often a guessing game. (Yes, playing against a really good nurse is difficult I know.)
Blight - pretty sure the devs already said they are fixing the hug tech, which will make him much harder to use.
Blight will become easier without hug techn, players are deeply deluded that he will become easier to play against

trust me i already tried but against a decent team on even a mediocre map i cant down them fast enough
Well, will you sometimes lose to good teams? Ofc. You wonder why it's so easy. So create difficulties for yourself. Hang everyone on the hooks in turn and play without slowing perks

Definitely though iri add ons might have been banned in this tournament
Try it. It's definitely a fun and powerful tactic. The main thing in this tactic is not to get too carried away in the chase. If there are no TVs in the survivor's path, then consider returning to the generator. And you should always try to understand the approximate location of the survivors. And also remember how many stacks on a survivor

shadowborn, call of brine, eruption, tinkerer (no addons)
this build is so strong that I might be able to win on any map against good survivors
and the best part? the survivors seem to enjoy it too. I’ve had more gg wp‘s since the update than in the last 2 months, even though 3 of my perks are for gen defence.
probably because the gen regression feels earned (not like ruin undying or something)
I Play through BBQ, Shadowborn, Lethal Pursuer. 4th perk on your wish. I like DMS. Addons: i like to play with Adrenaline and the compound c21. It's not as strong as with the ring, but I love impressive flicks. I try to play fairplay, tunneling only toxic survivors
-
You can also take Iridescent Videotape, this tactic works better with this addon

No sadako I fought has actually used this strategy. Especially moonwalking in chase to get condemned up faster
I play through this strategy myself and often watch one of the streamers who implements this gameplay better than me. He almost never loses. And he always makes 1-2 mori per match. This killer has good power, but people don't use it
-
@Phasmamain said:
Just saw this video of a Sadako player in a tournament using a playstyle I’ve never seen before. Actually seems pretty strong all things considered. What do you guys think of this?
All Onre play like this, the rest whine that the killer is weak. But if you have bad TV spawns and a large map, then this strategy does not work well

There wouldn't be bonuses even if incentives were on. That's not how it works lol Why would you get a bonus
I just miss the bonus from BBQ
-
The situation with the queue for killers is extremely depressing. There are no bonuses per match and the queue time average 7 minutes
-
@feruis said:
It's minute longer than before. Killers did get deserved buff but they got their perks nerfed aswell, Ruin is destroyed, Pop is nerfed again, Corrupted is destroyed, Thana works on Legion and Plague not on all killers.
It's so funny how people are making it out how it's impossible to survive, how they are camped every match without video proof, because i played 6 hours yesterday and I've been camped 3 times. Survived most of the times. But yeah, this community is full of sheep's, what did i even expect, ofc bunch of survivor mains will find themselves attacked and will insult me in the comments, like in the post game chat for the past five years.
People greatly exaggerate. I'm not good at looping killers, but I work on my gens and in half of the games I manage to escape
-
I have noticed that most killers have started to run 3-4 slow perks, although this is the patch where you can play with a maximum of 1 slow perk

tbh I've seen many posts already of Survivors threatening to quit the game or switch over to Killer. The Killer queue times are also ridiculously high at the moment, which is new to me.
The killer had problems with the queue even before the patch, but now it's terrible.

It is but it's not the most effective one if you really want to win games, I know that If i'll stack 2 slow down perks I'll probably win every game without trying. It is a fun build tho and I really missed having fun in dbd without feeling forced to bring the boring ruin/undying/scourge hook/dms etc.
Try BBQ, Lethal, Infectious Fright, Shadowborn. I usually try to hook everyone in turn. This has both interest and a challenge against good survivors

12 stages of grief for the MMR system is honestly the healthiest way to approach it XD
You're right. 10-12 stages are harder to do than 2-4 kills.
-
After playing several hundred matches with Shadowborn, I realized that I could no longer play without him. The game looks slow/boring without it
-
In the morning and afternoon, the game is not possible to find, the queue reaches up to 10-15 minutes. Although a couple of months ago it was no longer than 5 minutes
-
Developers want games with 4 slow perks (they'll get them) Good luck solo survivors
-
Removing the bonus to the BP from the perks is a big mistake. The game won't get any happier with this change. It's only going to get worse. Make a bonus to the BP with a basic kit or increase the points limit to 16,000
-
The queue for killers is disappointing. You can play normally only in the evening
-
Yes, and now the aura from BBQ will be 6 seconds with Lethal. Lethal will be a very interesting perk
-
It's the right decision, DEVS think about it

BHVR is nerfing BBQ and Pain Resonance, so that less people can find new targets when they hook a survivor. Killer's aren't supposed to camp, but BHVR is purposely making it harder for a killer to find someone else to chase. Instead, I guess killers are supposed to just randomly wander around the map and hope to find someone?
How is this fair? Why are there so many changes to make it easier for survivors to escape a chase, but killers don't get anything to make it easier to find other targets to chase?
You're right, I never camp, but when I don't have any information, I just walk close to the hook.
-
I have never seen a more outrageous change. Many killers endure their role just for bonus points, because they don't get anything else for their efforts.
-
It is very difficult to make 10-12 hooks on a high mmr. The game forces you to make a quick kill
But I no longer care about tunneling and patrolling the hook. When you do 12 hooks, you feel a surge of pride. Of course, you will very rarely do this, but it is more interesting and always looks like a challenge against experienced survivors. I already understood that in this game you should not care about 4k
-
@MrDardon said:
I really hope they make BBQ and WGLF's BP gains basekit so I don't have to use those damn Perks every game anymore.
And that is probably why they are going to do it. Almost everyone uses it for the BP, making it extremely meta.
That would be great
-
Developers apparently don't know that hug tech is a mind game for good survivors and they know how to read it
-
"It's been stated as being a bug" 😅

Probably because you're good at blight and understand different tiles. Granted, it is much easier to use against players who have little understanding of blight. Against good survivors - like the ones that make flashcards to study killers weaknesses - it is significantly harder to hit them on a hug tech because they're knowledgeable enough to know what you are doing and how to respond.
I doubt that he is well versed in blight. If you completely remove the hug technology, then the blight will crash into an object in 100% of cases when trying to make a 90 turn with a 90 flick. Hug tech allows for impressive turns followed by a hit

Well, you must admit that it adds new sensations to the game?
